   Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

   And the LORD spake unto me, saying,

   רַב־לָכֶםrav-la/KHEMlong enough you haveסֹבsovgone aroundאֶת־הָהָרet-ha/HARmountainהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisפְּנוּpe/NUturnלָכֶםla/KHEMyouצָפֹנָה׃tsa/FO/nanorthward

   Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.

   וְאֶת־הָעָםve/ET-ha/AMand the peopleצַוtsavcommandלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areעֹבְרִיםov/RIMabout to passבִּגְבוּלbig/VULthrough the territory ofאֲחֵיכֶםa/che/KHEMyour brethrenבְּנֵי־עֵשָׂוbe/NE-e/SAVsons of Esauהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho dwellבְּשֵׂעִירbe/Se/IRin Seirוְיִירְאוּve/yi/re/Uand they will be afraidמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youוְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּםve/nish/mar/TEMso take good heedמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

   And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:

   אַל־תִּתְגָּרוּal-tit/ga/RUdo not provokeבָםvamthemכִּיkiforלֹא־אֶתֵּןlo-et/TENI will not giveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמֵאַרְצָםme/ar/TSAMof their landעַדadevenמִדְרַךְmid/RAKHthe treading ofכַּף־רָגֶלkaf-RA/gelthe sole of a footכִּי־יְרֻשָּׁהki-ye/rush/SHAfor as a possessionלְעֵשָׂוle/E/SAVto Esauנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI have givenאֶת־הַרet-HarMountשֵׂעִיר׃Se/IRSeir

   Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.

   אֹכֶלO/khelfoodתִּשְׁבְּרוּtish/be/RUyou shall buyמֵאִתָּםme/it/TAMfrom themבַּכֶּסֶףbak/KE/seffor moneyוַאֲכַלְתֶּםva/a/khal/TEMthat you may eatוְגַם־מַיִםve/GAM-MA/yimand also waterתִּכְרוּtikh/RUyou shall buyמֵאִתָּםme/it/TAMfrom themבַּכֶּסֶףbak/KE/seffor moneyוּשְׁתִיתֶם׃u/she/TI/temthat you may drink

   Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.

   כִּיkiforיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godבֵּרַכְךָbe/rakh/KHAhas blessed youבְּכֹלbe/KHOLin allמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofיָדֶךָya/DE/khayour handיָדַעya/DAHe knowsלֶכְתְּךָlekh/te/KHAyour walking throughאֶת־הַמִּדְבָּרet-ham/mid/BARwildernessהַגָּדֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisזֶהzetheseאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godעִמָּךְim/MAKHhas been with youלֹאlonotחָסַרְתָּcha/SAR/tayou have lackedדָּבָר׃da/VARanything

   For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

   וַנַּעֲבֹרvan/na/a/VORand we passed byמֵאֵתme/ETfromאַחֵינוּa/CHE/nuour brethrenבְנֵי־עֵשָׂוve/NE-e/SAVthe children of Esauהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho dwellבְּשֵׂעִירbe/Se/IRin Seirמִדֶּרֶךְmid/DE/rekhthrough the way ofהָעֲרָבָהha/A/ra/VAthe Arabahמֵאֵילַתme/E/LATfrom Elathוּמֵעֶצְיֹןu/Me/ets/YONand from Ezion-גָּבֶרGA/vergeberוַנֵּפֶןvan/NE/fenand we turnedוַנַּעֲבֹרvan/na/a/VORand we passed byדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhthe way ofמִדְבַּרmid/BARthe wilderness ofמוֹאָב׃Mo/AVMoab

   And when we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plain from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meאַל־תָּצַרal-TA/tsardo not distressאֶת־מוֹאָבet-Mo/AVMoabוְאַל־תִּתְגָּרve/AL-tit/GARnor contendבָּםbamwith themמִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAin battleכִּיkiforלֹא־אֶתֵּןlo-et/TENI will not giveלְךָle/KHAyouמֵאַרְצוֹme/ar/TSOof his landיְרֻשָּׁהye/rush/SHAas a possessionכִּיkiforלִבְנֵי־לוֹטliv/NE-Lotto the children of Lotנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI have givenאֶת־עָרet-ArArיְרֻשָּׁה׃ye/rush/SHAas a possession

   And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

    הָאֵמִיםha/E/MIMthe Emimלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMin times pastיָשְׁבוּya/she/VUdweltבָהּvain itעַםama peopleגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוְרַבve/RAVand manyוָרָםva/RAMand tallכָּעֲנָקִים׃Ka/a/na/KIMas the Anakim

    The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims;

    רְפָאִיםRe/fa/IMRephaimיֵחָשְׁבוּye/cha/she/VUwere reckonedאַף־הֵםaf-hemthey alsoכָּעֲנָקִיםKa/a/na/KIMas the Anakimוְהַמֹּאָבִיםve/ham/Mo/a/VIMbut the Moabitesיִקְרְאוּyik/re/Ucallלָהֶםla/HEMthemאֵמִים׃E/MIMEmim

    Which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.

    וּבְשֵׂעִירu/ve/Se/IRand in Seirיָשְׁבוּya/she/VUdweltהַחֹרִיםha/Cho/RIMthe Horitesלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMin times pastוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEbut the children ofעֵשָׂוE/SAVEsauיִירָשׁוּםyi/ra/SHUMdispossessed themוַיַּשְׁמִידוּםvay/yash/mi/DUMand destroyed themמִפְּנֵיהֶםmip/pe/ne/HEMfrom before themוַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand dweltתַּחְתָּםtach/TAMin their steadכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasעָשָׂהa/SAdidיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלְאֶרֶץle/E/retsto the land ofיְרֻשָּׁתוֹye/rush/sha/TOhis possessionאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANwhich gaveיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָהֶם׃la/HEMto them

    The Horims also dwelt in Seir beforetime; but the children of Esau succeeded them, when they had destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which the LORD gave unto them.

13. 13

    עַתָּהat/TAnowקֻמוּKU/murise upוְעִבְרוּve/iv/RUand go overלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאֶת־נַחַלet-NA/chalthe valley ofזָרֶדZA/redZeredוַנַּעֲבֹרvan/na/a/VORso we went overאֶת־נַחַלet-NA/chalthe valley ofזָרֶד׃ZA/redZered

    Now rise up, said I, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.

14. 14

    וְהַיָּמִיםve/hay/ya/MIMand the daysאֲשֶׁר־הָלַכְנוּa/SHER-ha/LAKH/nuin which we cameמִקָּדֵשׁmik/Ka/DESHfrom Kadesh-בַּרְנֵעַbar/NE/abarneaעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁר־עָבַרְנוּa/SHER-a/VAR/nuwe came overאֶת־נַחַלet-NA/chalthe valley ofזֶרֶדZE/redZeredשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyוּשְׁמֹנֶהu/she/mo/NEand eightשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsעַד־תֹּםad-tomuntil was consumedכׇּל־הַדּוֹרkol-had/DORall the generationאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofהַמִּלְחָמָהham/mil/cha/MAwarמִקֶּרֶבmik/KE/revfrom amongהַמַּחֲנֶהham/ma/cha/NEthe campכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנִשְׁבַּעnish/BAsworeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָהֶם׃la/HEMto them

    And the space in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the LORD sware unto them.

15. 15

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoיַד־יְהֹוָהyad-Adonaithe hand of the LORDהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasבָּםbamagainst themלְהֻמָּםle/hum/MAMto destroy themמִקֶּרֶבmik/KE/revfrom the midst ofהַמַּחֲנֶהham/ma/cha/NEthe campעַדaduntilתֻּמָּם׃tum/MAMthey were consumed

    For indeed the hand of the LORD was against them, to destroy them from among the host, until they were consumed.

16. 16

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכַאֲשֶׁר־תַּמּוּkha/a/SHER-TAM/muwhen were consumedכׇּל־אַנְשֵׁיkol-an/SHEall the men ofהַמִּלְחָמָהham/mil/cha/MAwarלָמוּתla/MUTand deadמִקֶּרֶבmik/KE/revfrom amongהָעָם׃ha/AMthe people

    So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,

17. 17

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    That the LORD spake unto me, saying,

18. 18

    אַתָּהat/TAyouעֹבֵרo/VERare to pass overהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayאֶת־גְּבוּלet-ge/VULthe border ofמוֹאָבMo/AVMoabאֶת־עָר׃et-Arat Ar

    Thou art to pass over through Ar, the coast of Moab, this day:

19. 19

    וְקָרַבְתָּve/ka/rav/TAand when you come nearמוּלmuloppositeבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofעַמּוֹןAm/MONAmmonאַל־תְּצֻרֵםal-te/tsu/REMdo not distress themוְאַל־תִּתְגָּרve/AL-tit/GARnor contendבָּםbamwith themכִּיkiforלֹא־אֶתֵּןlo-et/TENI will not giveמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsof the land ofבְּנֵי־עַמּוֹןbe/NE-am/MONthe children of Ammonלְךָle/KHAyouיְרֻשָּׁהye/rush/SHAas a possessionכִּיkiforלִבְנֵי־לוֹטliv/NE-Lotto the children of Lotנְתַתִּיהָne/tat/TI/haI have given itיְרֻשָּׁה׃ye/rush/SHAas a possession

    And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.

    אֶרֶץ־רְפָאִיםE/rets-Re/fa/IMa land of Rephaimתֵּחָשֵׁבte/cha/SHEVwas reckonedאַף־הִואaf-hivit alsoרְפָאִיםRe/fa/IMRephaimיָשְׁבוּ־בָהּya/she/VU-vadwelt in itלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMin times pastוְהָעַמֹּנִיםve/Ha/am/mo/NIMand the Ammonitesיִקְרְאוּyik/re/Ucallלָהֶםla/HEMthemזַמְזֻמִּים׃Zam/zum/MIMZamzummim

    (That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims;

21. 21

    עַםama peopleגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוְרַבve/RAVand manyוָרָםva/RAMand tallכָּעֲנָקִיםKa/a/na/KIMas the Anakimוַיַּשְׁמִידֵםvay/yash/mi/DEMbut destroyed themיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמִפְּנֵיהֶםmip/pe/ne/HEMfrom before themוַיִּירָשֻׁםvay/yi/ra/SHUMand they succeeded themוַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand dweltתַחְתָּם׃tach/TAMin their stead

    A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead:

22. 22

    כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasעָשָׂהa/SAHe didלִבְנֵיliv/NEfor the children ofעֵשָׂוE/SAVEsauהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho dwellבְּשֵׂעִירbe/Se/IRin Seirאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenהִשְׁמִידhish/MIDHe destroyedאֶת־הַחֹרִיet-Ha/cho/RIthe Horitesמִפְּנֵיהֶםmip/pe/ne/HEMfrom before themוַיִּירָשֻׁםvay/yi/ra/SHUMand they succeeded themוַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand dweltתַחְתָּםtach/TAMin their steadעַדadtoהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:

23. 23

    וְהָעַוִּיםve/Ha/av/VIMand the Avvitesהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho dweltבַּחֲצֵרִיםba/cha/tse/RIMin villagesעַד־עַזָּהad-Az/ZAas far as GazaכַּפְתֹּרִיםkaF/to/RIMthe Caphtorimהַיֹּצְאִיםhay/yots/IMwho came forthמִכַּפְתֹּרmik/Kaf/TORfrom Caphtorהִשְׁמִידֻםhish/mi/DUMthey destroyed themוַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand dweltתַחְתָּם׃tach/TAMin their stead

    And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)

24. 24

    קוּמוּKU/murise upסְּעוּse/Uset outוְעִבְרוּve/iv/RUand pass overאֶת־נַחַלet-NA/chalthe valley ofאַרְנֹןAr/NONArnonרְאֵהre/Eseeנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI have givenבְיָדְךָve/ya/de/KHAinto your handאֶת־סִיחֹןet-Si/CHONSihonמֶלֶךְ־חֶשְׁבּוֹןME/lekh-Chesh/BONthe king of Heshbonהָאֱמֹרִיha/E/mo/RIthe Amoriteוְאֶת־אַרְצוֹve/ET-ar/TSOand his landהָחֵלha/CHELbeginרָשׁrashpossessוְהִתְגָּרve/hit/GARand contendבּוֹbowith himמִלְחָמָה׃mil/cha/MAin battle

    Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

25. 25

    הַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאָחֵלa/CHELwill I beginתֵּתtetto putפַּחְדְּךָpach/de/KHAyour dreadוְיִרְאָתְךָve/yir/a/te/KHAand your fearעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEuponהָעַמִּיםha/am/MIMthe peoplesתַּחַתTA/chatunderכׇּל־הַשָּׁמָיִםkol-hash/sha/MA/yimall the heavensאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִשְׁמְעוּןyish/me/UNshall hearשִׁמְעֲךָshim/a/KHAthe report of youוְרָגְזוּve/ra/ge/ZUand shall trembleוְחָלוּve/cha/LUand be in anguishמִפָּנֶיךָ׃mip/pa/NE/khabecause of you

    This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

26. 26

    וָאֶשְׁלַחva/esh/LACHand I sentמַלְאָכִיםmal/a/KHIMmessengersמִמִּדְבַּרmim/mid/BARfrom the wilderness ofקְדֵמוֹתKe/de/MOTKedemothאֶל־סִיחוֹןel-Si/CHONto SihonמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofחֶשְׁבּוֹןChesh/BONHeshbonדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe words ofשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

27. 27

    אֶעְבְּרָהe/be/RAlet me passבְאַרְצֶךָve/ar/TSE/khathrough your landבַּדֶּרֶךְbad/DE/rekhby the wayבַּדֶּרֶךְbad/DE/rekhby the wayאֵלֵךְe/LEKHI will goלֹאlonotאָסוּרa/SURturn asideיָמִיןya/MINto the rightוּשְׂמֹאול׃us/MOLor to the left

    Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left.

28. 28

    אֹכֶלO/khelfoodבַּכֶּסֶףbak/KE/seffor moneyתַּשְׁבִּרֵנִיtash/bi/RE/niyou shall sell meוְאָכַלְתִּיve/a/KHAL/tithat I may eatוּמַיִםu/MA/yimand waterבַּכֶּסֶףbak/KE/seffor moneyתִּתֶּן־לִיtit/TEN-ligive meוְשָׁתִיתִיve/sha/TI/tithat I may drinkרַקrakonlyאֶעְבְּרָהe/be/RAlet me pass throughבְרַגְלָי׃ve/rag/LAYon my feet

    Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet;

29. 29

    כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasעָשׂוּ־לִיa/SU-lidid to meבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofעֵשָׂוE/SAVEsauהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho dwellבְּשֵׂעִירbe/Se/IRin Seirוְהַמּוֹאָבִיםve/ham/Mo/a/VIMand the Moabitesהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho dwellבְּעָרbe/ARin Arעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁר־אֶעֱבֹרa/SHER-e/e/VORI pass overאֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּןet-Hay/yar/DENthe Jordanאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsinto the landאֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָהa/SHER-Adonaiwhich the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godנֹתֵןno/TENis givingלָנוּ׃LA/nuto us

    (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

30. 30

    וְלֹאve/LOand notאָבָהa/VAwouldסִיחֹןSi/CHONSihonמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofחֶשְׁבּוֹןChesh/BONHeshbonהַעֲבִרֵנוּha/a/vi/RE/nulet us passבּוֹboby himכִּי־הִקְשָׁהki-hik/SHAfor hardenedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godאֶת־רוּחוֹet-ru/CHOhis spiritוְאִמֵּץve/im/METSand made obstinateאֶת־לְבָבוֹet-le/va/VOhis heartלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּתּוֹtit/TOHe might deliver himבְיָדְךָve/ya/de/KHAinto your handכַּיּוֹםkay/YOMas the dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.

31. 31

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meרְאֵהre/Eseeהַחִלֹּתִיha/chil/LO/tiI have begunתֵּתtetto giveלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore youאֶת־סִיחֹןet-Si/CHONSihonוְאֶת־אַרְצוֹve/ET-ar/TSOand his landהָחֵלha/CHELbeginרָשׁrashpossessלָרֶשֶׁתla/RE/shetthat you may inheritאֶת־אַרְצוֹ׃et-ar/TSOhis land

    And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.

32. 32

    וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand went outסִיחֹןSi/CHONSihonלִקְרָאתֵנוּlik/ra/TE/nuto meet usהוּאhuheוְכׇל־עַמּוֹve/KHOL-am/MOand all his peopleלַמִּלְחָמָהlam/mil/cha/MAto battleיָהְצָה׃YAH/tsaat Jahaz

    Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.

33. 33

    And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.

34. 34

    וַנִּלְכֹּדvan/nil/KODand we tookאֶת־כׇּל־עָרָיוet-kol-a/RAYVall his citiesבָּעֵתba/ETat the timeהַהִואha/HIVthatוַנַּחֲרֵםvan/na/cha/REMand utterly destroyedאֶת־כׇּל־עִירet-kol-irevery city ofמְתִםme/TIMmenוְהַנָּשִׁיםve/han/na/SHIMand the womenוְהַטָּףve/hat/TAFand the little onesלֹאlonotהִשְׁאַרְנוּhish/AR/nuwe leftשָׂרִיד׃sa/RIDnone remaining

    And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain:

35. 35

    רַקrakonlyהַבְּהֵמָהhab/be/he/MAthe cattleבָּזַזְנוּba/ZAZ/nuwe took as spoilלָנוּLA/nufor ourselvesוּשְׁלַלu/she/LALand the spoil ofהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלָכָדְנוּ׃la/KHAD/nuwe took

    Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.

36. 36

    מֵעֲרֹעֵרme/A/ro/ERfrom Aroerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isעַל־שְׂפַת־נַחַלal-se/FAT-NA/chalon the edge of the valley ofאַרְנֹןAr/NONArnonוְהָעִירve/ha/IRand from the cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבַּנַּחַלban/NA/chalin the valleyוְעַד־הַגִּלְעָדve/AD-hag/gil/ADeven to Gileadלֹאlonotהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwas thereקִרְיָהkir/YAa cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatשָׂגְבָהsa/ge/VAwas too strongמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nufor usאֶת־הַכֹּלet-hak/KOLallנָתַןna/TANdeliveredיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godלְפָנֵינוּ׃le/fa/NE/nubefore us

    From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

    רַקrakonlyאֶל־אֶרֶץel-E/retsto the land ofבְּנֵי־עַמּוֹןbe/NE-am/MONthe children of Ammonלֹאlonotקָרָבְתָּka/RAV/tayou came nearכׇּל־יַדkol-yadall the bank ofנַחַלNA/chalthe riverיַבֹּקYab/BOKJabbokוְעָרֵיve/a/REnor the cities ofהָהָרha/HARthe hill countryוְכֹלve/KHOLnor whateverאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהa/SHER-tsiv/VAthat had commandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּ׃e/lo/HE/nuour God

    Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.
