    וְאָהַבְתָּand you shall loveאֵת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godוְשָׁמַרְתָּand you will keepמִשְׁמַרְתּוֹHis chargeוְחֻקֹּתָיוand His statutesוּמִשְׁפָּטָיוand His judgmentsוּמִצְוֺתָיוand His commandmentsכׇּל־הַיָּמִים׃all the days

    Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

    וִידַעְתֶּםand you shall knowהַיּוֹםthe dayכִּיthatלֹאnotאֶת־בְּנֵיכֶםyour sonsאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹא־יָדְעוּknow notוַאֲשֶׁרand thatלֹא־רָאוּnot sawאֶת־מוּסַרthe chastisement ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godאֶת־גׇּדְלוֹHis greatnessאֶת־יָדוֹHis handהַחֲזָקָהthe mightyוּזְרֹעוֹand His armהַנְּטוּיָה׃the outstretched

    And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,

    וְאֶת־אֹתֹתָיוand His signsוְאֶת־מַעֲשָׂיוand His worksאֲשֶׁרwhichעָשָׂהhe didבְּתוֹךְamongמִצְרָיִםEgyptלְפַרְעֹהfor Pharaohמֶלֶךְ־מִצְרַיִםking of Egyptוּלְכׇל־אַרְצוֹ׃and to all his land

    And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;

    וַאֲשֶׁרand thatעָשָׂהhe didלְחֵילto the army ofמִצְרַיִםEgyptלְסוּסָיוto its horsesוּלְרִכְבּוֹand to its chariotryאֲשֶׁרwhichהֵצִיףhe made overflowאֶת־מֵיthe waters ofיַם־סוּףthe Red Seaעַל־פְּנֵיהֶםupon their facesבְּרׇדְפָםwhen they pursuedאַחֲרֵיכֶםafter youוַיְאַבְּדֵםand destroyed themיְהֹוָהthe LORDעַדuntilהַיּוֹםthe dayהַזֶּה׃this

    And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;

    וַאֲשֶׁרand thatעָשָׂהhe didלָכֶםto youבַּמִּדְבָּרin the wildernessעַד־בֹּאֲכֶםuntil you cameעַד־הַמָּקוֹםuntil the placeהַזֶּה׃this

    And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place;

    וַאֲשֶׁרand thatעָשָׂהhe didלְדָתָןDathanוְלַאֲבִירָםand Abiramבְּנֵיthe sons ofאֱלִיאָבEliabבֶּן־רְאוּבֵןson of Reubenאֲשֶׁרwhichפָּצְתָהhas openedהָאָרֶץthe groundאֶת־פִּיהָits mouthוַתִּבְלָעֵםand it swallowed themוְאֶת־בָּתֵּיהֶםand their own housesוְאֶת־אׇהֳלֵיהֶםand their tentsוְאֵתandכׇּל־הַיְקוּםall the living substanceאֲשֶׁרwhichבְּרַגְלֵיהֶםat their feetבְּקֶרֶבamongכׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃all Israel

    And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:

    כִּיbecauseעֵינֵיכֶםyour eyesהָרֹאֹתare the ones which have seenאֶת־כׇּל־מַעֲשֵׂהall work ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDהַגָּדֹלthe greatאֲשֶׁרwhichעָשָׂה׃he did

    But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

    וּשְׁמַרְתֶּםand you shall keepאֶת־כׇּל־הַמִּצְוָהall the commandmentאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוְּךָam commanding youהַיּוֹםthe dayלְמַעַןin order thatתֶּחֶזְקוּyou may be strongוּבָאתֶםand you shall comeוִירִשְׁתֶּםand you shall possessאֶת־הָאָרֶץthe landאֲשֶׁרwhichאַתֶּםyou areעֹבְרִיםpassing overשָׁמָּהthereלְרִשְׁתָּהּ׃to possess it

    Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;

    וּלְמַעַןand thatתַּאֲרִיכוּyou may prolongיָמִיםdaysעַל־הָאֲדָמָהupon the landאֲשֶׁרwhichנִשְׁבַּעsworeיְהֹוָהthe LORDלַאֲבֹתֵיכֶםto your ancestorsלָתֵתto giveלָהֶםto themוּלְזַרְעָםand to their offspringאֶרֶץa landזָבַתflowingחָלָבmilkוּדְבָשׁ׃and honey

    And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

    כִּיforהָאָרֶץthe landאֲשֶׁרwhichאַתָּהyouבָא־שָׁמָּהcame thereלְרִשְׁתָּהּto possess itלֹאnotכְאֶרֶץlike the land ofמִצְרַיִםEgyptהִואit isאֲשֶׁרwhichיְצָאתֶםyou went outמִשָּׁםfrom thereאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּזְרַעyou will sowאֶת־זַרְעֲךָyour seedוְהִשְׁקִיתָand watered itבְרַגְלְךָwith your footכְּגַןlike the garden ofהַיָּרָק׃herbs

    For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:

    וְהָאָרֶץand the landאֲשֶׁרwhichאַתֶּםyou areעֹבְרִיםpassing overשָׁמָּהthereלְרִשְׁתָּהּto possess itאֶרֶץthe land ofהָרִיםmountainsוּבְקָעֹתand valleysלִמְטַרto the rain ofהַשָּׁמַיִםthe heavensתִּשְׁתֶּה־מָּיִם׃it drinks water

    But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:

  12. 12

    אֶרֶץa landאֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָהwhich the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godדֹּרֵשׁseekingאֹתָהּitתָּמִידcontinuallyעֵינֵיthe eyes ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godבָּהּin itמֵרֵשִׁיתfrom the beginning ofהַשָּׁנָהthe yearוְעַדand untoאַחֲרִיתthe end ofשָׁנָה׃year

    A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

    וְהָיָהand beאִם־שָׁמֹעַif diligentlyתִּשְׁמְעוּyou hearkenאֶל־מִצְוֺתַיto my commandmentsאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוֶּהcommandאֶתְכֶםyouהַיּוֹםthe dayלְאַהֲבָהto loveאֶת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godוּלְעׇבְדוֹand to serve Himבְּכׇל־לְבַבְכֶםin all your heartsוּבְכׇל־נַפְשְׁכֶם׃and in all your souls

    And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

  14. 14

    וְנָתַתִּיand I will giveמְטַר־אַרְצְכֶםthe rain of your landבְּעִתּוֹin its timeיוֹרֶהthe former rainוּמַלְקוֹשׁand spring rainוְאָסַפְתָּand you will gather itדְגָנֶךָyour grainוְתִירֹשְׁךָand your new wineוְיִצְהָרֶךָ׃and your fresh oil

    That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

  15. 15

    וְנָתַתִּיand I will giveעֵשֶׂבherbבְּשָׂדְךָin your fieldsלִבְהֶמְתֶּךָfor your cattleוְאָכַלְתָּand you shall eatוְשָׂבָעְתָּ׃and you will be satisfied

    And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

    הִשָּׁמְרוּbewareלָכֶםto youפֶּןlestיִפְתֶּהbe deceivedלְבַבְכֶםyour heartsוְסַרְתֶּםand you will turn asideוַעֲבַדְתֶּםand you will serveאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםother godsוְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶםand you will bow downלָהֶם׃to them

    Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

  17. 17

    וְחָרָהand it will burnאַף־יְהֹוָהthe anger of the LORDבָּכֶםagainst youוְעָצַרand he will shut upאֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִםthe heavensוְלֹא־יִהְיֶהand there shall be noמָטָרrainוְהָאֲדָמָהand the groundלֹאnotתִתֵּןshe will giveאֶת־יְבוּלָהּits produceוַאֲבַדְתֶּםand you will perishמְהֵרָהsoonמֵעַלfrom uponהָאָרֶץthe landהַטֹּבָהthe goodאֲשֶׁרwhichיְהֹוָהthe LORDנֹתֵןgivingלָכֶם׃to you

    And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

  18. 18

    וְשַׂמְתֶּםand you will put themאֶת־דְּבָרַיmy wordsאֵלֶּהtheseעַל־לְבַבְכֶםupon your heartsוְעַל־נַפְשְׁכֶםand upon your soulsוּקְשַׁרְתֶּםand you will tieאֹתָםthemלְאוֹתfor a signעַל־יֶדְכֶםupon your handוְהָיוּand shall beלְטוֹטָפֹתfor frontletsבֵּיןbetweenעֵינֵיכֶם׃your eyes

    Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

  19. 19

    וְלִמַּדְתֶּםand you will teachאֹתָםthemאֶת־בְּנֵיכֶםyour sonsלְדַבֵּרto speakבָּםin themבְּשִׁבְתְּךָwhen you sitבְּבֵיתֶךָin your houseוּבְלֶכְתְּךָand when you walkבַדֶּרֶךְon the wayוּבְשׇׁכְבְּךָand when you lie downוּבְקוּמֶךָ׃and when you rise up

    And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

  20. 20

    וּכְתַבְתָּםand you will write themעַל־מְזוּזוֹתupon the doorposts ofבֵּיתֶךָyour houseוּבִשְׁעָרֶיךָ׃and on your gates

    And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

  21. 21

    לְמַעַןin order thatיִרְבּוּthey may increaseיְמֵיכֶםyour daysוִימֵיand the days ofבְנֵיכֶםyour sonsעַלuponהָאֲדָמָהthe landאֲשֶׁרwhichנִשְׁבַּעsworeיְהֹוָהthe LORDלַאֲבֹתֵיכֶםto your ancestorsלָתֵתto giveלָהֶםto themכִּימֵיas days ofהַשָּׁמַיִם׃the heavens

    That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

  22. 22

    כִּיforאִם־שָׁמֹרif diligentlyתִּשְׁמְרוּןyou will keepאֶת־כׇּל־הַמִּצְוָהall the commandmentהַזֹּאתthisאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוֶּהcommandאֶתְכֶםyouלַעֲשֹׂתָהּto do itלְאַהֲבָהto loveאֶת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godלָלֶכֶתto goבְּכׇל־דְּרָכָיוin all His waysוּלְדׇבְקָה־בוֹ׃and to cleave in Him

    For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

  23. 23

    וְהוֹרִישׁand will dispossessיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםall the nationsהָאֵלֶּהtheseמִלִּפְנֵיכֶםfrom before youוִירִשְׁתֶּםand you shall possessגּוֹיִםnationsגְּדֹלִיםgreatוַעֲצֻמִיםand mightyמִכֶּם׃than you

    Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

  24. 24

    כׇּל־הַמָּקוֹםall the placeאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּדְרֹךְit will treadכַּף־רַגְלְכֶםsole of your footבּוֹin itלָכֶםto youיִהְיֶהshall beמִן־הַמִּדְבָּרfrom the wildernessוְהַלְּבָנוֹןand Lebanonמִן־הַנָּהָרfrom the riverנְהַר־פְּרָתriver of Euphratesוְעַדand untoהַיָּםthe seaהָאַחֲרוֹןthe uttermostיִהְיֶהshall beגְּבֻלְכֶם׃your territory

    Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.

    לֹא־יִתְיַצֵּבnot he will standאִישׁa manבִּפְנֵיכֶםbefore youפַּחְדְּכֶםyour dreadוּמוֹרַאֲכֶםand your fearיִתֵּןshall giveיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godעַל־פְּנֵיupon the face ofכׇל־הָאָרֶץall the earthאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּדְרְכוּ־בָהּyou shall tread in itכַּאֲשֶׁרasדִּבֶּרspokeלָכֶם׃to you

    There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.

  26. 26

    רְאֵהbeholdאָנֹכִיIנֹתֵןgivingלִפְנֵיכֶםunto youהַיּוֹםthe dayבְּרָכָהa blessingוּקְלָלָה׃and a curse

    Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

  27. 27

    אֶת־הַבְּרָכָהthe blessingאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּשְׁמְעוּyou hearkenאֶל־מִצְוֺתto the commandments ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour GodאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוֶּהcommandאֶתְכֶםyouהַיּוֹם׃the day

    A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

  28. 28

    וְהַקְּלָלָהand the cursingאִם־לֹאif notתִשְׁמְעוּyou hearkenאֶל־מִצְוֺתto the commandments ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godוְסַרְתֶּםand you will turn asideמִן־הַדֶּרֶךְout of the wayאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוֶּהcommandאֶתְכֶםyouהַיּוֹםthe dayלָלֶכֶתto goאַחֲרֵיafterאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםother godsאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹא־יְדַעְתֶּם׃not you know

    And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

  29. 29

    וְהָיָהand beכִּיwhenיְבִיאֲךָwill bring youיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godאֶל־הָאָרֶץunto the landאֲשֶׁר־אַתָּהwhich youבָא־שָׁמָּהcame thereלְרִשְׁתָּהּto possess itוְנָתַתָּהand you shall setאֶת־הַבְּרָכָהthe blessingעַל־הַרupon mountגְּרִזִיםGerizimוְאֶת־הַקְּלָלָהand the curseעַל־הַרupon mountעֵיבָל׃Ebal

    And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

    הֲלֹא־הֵמָּהis it not theyבְּעֵבֶרon the other side ofהַיַּרְדֵּןthe Jordanאַחֲרֵיafterדֶּרֶךְthe way ofמְבוֹאthe going down ofהַשֶּׁמֶשׁthe sunבְּאֶרֶץin the land ofהַכְּנַעֲנִיthe Canaaniteהַיֹּשֵׁבthe one who was dwellingבָּעֲרָבָהin the ArabahמוּלagainstהַגִּלְגָּלGilgalאֵצֶלnearאֵלוֹנֵיthe great trees ofמֹרֶה׃More

    Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?

    כִּיforאַתֶּםyou areעֹבְרִיםpassing overאֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּןthe Jordanלָבֹאto go inלָרֶשֶׁתto possessאֶת־הָאָרֶץthe landאֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָהwhich the LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godנֹתֵןgivingלָכֶםto youוִירִשְׁתֶּםand you shall possessאֹתָהּitוִישַׁבְתֶּם־בָּהּ׃and you shall dwell in it

    For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

  32. 32

    וּשְׁמַרְתֶּםand you shall keepלַעֲשׂוֹתto doאֵת־כׇּל־הַחֻקִּיםall the statutesוְאֶת־הַמִּשְׁפָּטִיםand the judgmentsאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIנֹתֵןgivingלִפְנֵיכֶםunto youהַיּוֹם׃the day

    And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.
