   בָּעֵתba/ETat the timeהַהִואha/HIVthatאָמַרa/MARsaidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meפְּסׇל־לְךָpe/SOL-le/KHAhew for yourselfשְׁנֵי־לוּחֹתshe/NE-lu/CHOTtwo tablets ofאֲבָנִיםa/va/NIMstoneכָּרִאשֹׁנִיםka/ri/sho/NIMlike the firstוַעֲלֵהva/a/LEand go upאֵלַיe/LAYto meהָהָרָהha/HA/rainto the mountainוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand makeלְּךָle/KHAyourselfאֲרוֹןa/RONan ark ofעֵץ׃etswood

   At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.

   וְאֶכְתֹּבve/ekh/TOVand I will writeעַל־הַלֻּחֹתal-hal/lu/CHOTupon the tabletsאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיוּha/YUwereעַל־הַלֻּחֹתal-hal/lu/CHOTupon the tabletsהָרִאשֹׁנִיםha/ri/sho/NIMfirstאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשִׁבַּרְתָּshib/BAR/tayou brokeוְשַׂמְתָּםve/sam/TAMand you shall put themבָּאָרוֹן׃ba/a/RONin the ark

   And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.

   וָאַעַשׂva/A/asand I madeאֲרוֹןa/RONan ark ofעֲצֵיa/TSEwood ofשִׁטִּיםshit/TIMacaciaוָאֶפְסֹלva/ef/SOLand I hewedשְׁנֵי־לֻחֹתshe/NE-lu/CHOTtwo tablets ofאֲבָנִיםa/va/NIMstoneכָּרִאשֹׁנִיםka/ri/sho/NIMlike the firstוָאַעַלva/A/aland I went upהָהָרָהha/HA/rainto the mountainוּשְׁנֵיu/she/NEand the twoהַלֻּחֹתhal/lu/CHOTtabletsבְּיָדִי׃be/ya/DIin my hand

   And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.

   וַיִּכְתֹּבvay/yikh/TOVand He wroteעַל־הַלֻּחֹתal-hal/lu/CHOTupon the tabletsכַּמִּכְתָּבkam/mikh/TAVaccording to the writingהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONfirstאֵת־עֲשֶׂרֶתet-a/SE/retthe tenהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMwordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבָּהָרba/HARin the mountainמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom the midst ofהָאֵשׁha/ESHthe fireבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofהַקָּהָלhak/ka/HALthe assemblyוַיִּתְּנֵםvay/yit/te/NEMand gave themיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלָי׃e/LAYto me

   And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.

   וָאֵפֶןva/E/fenand I turnedוָאֵרֵדva/e/REDand I came downמִן־הָהָרmin-ha/HARfrom the mountainוָאָשִׂםva/a/SIMand putאֶת־הַלֻּחֹתet-hal/lu/CHOTthe tabletsבָּאָרוֹןba/a/RONin the arkאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/tiI had madeוַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand there they areשָׁםshamthereכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוַּנִיtsiv/VA/nicommanded meיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.

   וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelנָסְעוּna/se/Uset outמִבְּאֵרֹתmib/Be/e/ROTfrom Beerothבְּנֵי־יַעֲקָןbe/NE-ya/a/KANof Bene-jaakanמוֹסֵרָהMo/se/RAto MoserahשָׁםshamthereמֵתmetdiedאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוַיִּקָּבֵרvay/yik/ka/VERand was buriedשָׁםshamthereוַיְכַהֵןvay/kha/HENand ministered as priestאֶלְעָזָרEl/a/ZAREleazarבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonתַּחְתָּיו׃tach/TAYVin his stead

   And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office in his stead.

   מִשָּׁםmish/SHAMfrom thereנָסְעוּna/se/Uthey set outהַגֻּדְגֹּדָהhag/Gud/GO/dato Gudgodahוּמִן־הַגֻּדְגֹּדָהu/MIN-hag/gud/GO/daand from GudgodahיׇטְבָתָהYot/VA/tato JotbathahאֶרֶץE/retsa land ofנַחֲלֵיNA/cha/lebrooks ofמָיִם׃MA/yimwater

   From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land of rivers of waters.

   בָּעֵתba/ETat the timeהַהִואha/HIVthatהִבְדִּילhiv/DILset apartיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־שֵׁבֶטet-SHE/vetthe tribe ofהַלֵּוִיHal/le/VILeviלָשֵׂאתla/SETto bearאֶת־אֲרוֹןet-a/RONthe ark ofבְּרִית־יְהֹוָהbe/RIT-Adonaithe covenant of the LORDלַעֲמֹדla/a/MODto standלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְשׇׁרְתוֹle/shor/TOto minister to Himוּלְבָרֵךְu/le/va/REKHand to blessבִּשְׁמוֹbish/MOin His nameעַדadtoהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeלֹא־הָיָהlo-ha/YAthere was notלְלֵוִיle/Le/VIto LeviחֵלֶקCHE/lekportionוְנַחֲלָהve/na/cha/LAand inheritanceעִם־אֶחָיוim-e/CHAYVwith his brothersיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהוּאhuisנַחֲלָתוֹna/cha/la/TOhis inheritanceכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERpromisedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלוֹ׃loto him

   Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.

    וְאָנֹכִיve/a/no/KHIyet Iעָמַדְתִּיa/MAD/tistoodבָהָרva/HARin the mountainכַּיָּמִיםkay/ya/MIMaccording to the daysהָרִאשֹׁנִיםha/ri/sho/NIMfirstאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyיוֹםyomdaysוְאַרְבָּעִיםve/ar/ba/IMand fortyלָיְלָהLAY/lanightsוַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand hearkenedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meגַּםgamalsoבַּפַּעַםbap/PA/amat timeהַהִואha/HIVthatלֹא־אָבָהlo-A/vawould notיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהַשְׁחִיתֶךָ׃hash/chi/TE/khadestroy you

    And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee.

11. 11

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meקוּםkumariseלֵךְlekhgoלְמַסַּעle/mas/SAon your journeyלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוְיָבֹאוּve/ya/VO/uthat they may go inוְיִירְשׁוּve/yi/re/SHUand possessאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landאֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּעְתִּיa/SHER-nish/BA/tiwhich I sworeלַאֲבֹתָםla/a/vo/TAMto their fathersלָתֵתla/TETto giveלָהֶם׃la/HEMto them

    And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.

12. 12

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELO IsraelמָהmawhatיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godשֹׁאֵלsho/ELrequireמֵעִמָּךְme/im/MAKHof youכִּיkibutאִם־לְיִרְאָהim-le/yir/Ato fearאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבְּכׇל־דְּרָכָיוbe/KHOL-de/ra/KHAYVin all His waysוּלְאַהֲבָהu/le/a/ha/VAand to loveאֹתוֹo/TOHimוְלַעֲבֹדve/la/a/VODand to serveאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godבְּכׇל־לְבָבְךָbe/KHOL-le/va/ve/KHAwith all your heartוּבְכׇל־נַפְשֶׁךָ׃u/ve/KHOL-naf/SHE/khaand with all your soul

    And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

13. 13

    לִשְׁמֹרlish/MORto keepאֶת־מִצְוֺתet-mits/VOTthe commandments ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְאֶת־חֻקֹּתָיוve/ET-chuk/ko/TAYVand His statutesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommand youהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayלְטוֹבle/TOVfor goodלָךְ׃lakhfor you

    To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

14. 14

    הֵןhenbeholdלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaibelong to the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוּשְׁמֵיu/she/MEand the heavens ofהַשָּׁמָיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־בָּהּ׃ve/KHOL-a/SHER-baand all that is in it

    Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.

15. 15

    רַקrakonlyבַּאֲבֹתֶיךָba/a/vo/TE/khaon your fathersחָשַׁקcha/SHAKset His delightיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְאַהֲבָהle/a/ha/VAto loveאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוַיִּבְחַרvay/yiv/CHARand choseבְּזַרְעָםbe/zar/AMin their seedאַחֲרֵיהֶםa/cha/re/HEMafter themבָּכֶםba/KHEMyouמִכׇּל־הָעַמִּיםmik/KOL-ha/am/MIMabove all the peoplesכַּיּוֹםkay/YOMas at the dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

16. 16

    וּמַלְתֶּםu/mal/TEMcircumcise thereforeאֵת־עׇרְלַתet-or/LATthe foreskin ofלְבַבְכֶםle/vav/KHEMyour heartsוְעׇרְפְּכֶםve/or/pe/KHEMand your neckלֹאlonoתַקְשׁוּtak/SHUhardenעוֹד׃odmore

    Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

17. 17

    כִּיkiforיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godהוּאhuisאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMgodsוַאֲדֹנֵיva/a/do/NEand Lord ofהָאֲדֹנִיםha/a/do/NIMlordsהָאֵלha/ELa Godהַגָּדֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatהַגִּבֹּרhag/gib/BORmightyוְהַנּוֹרָאve/han/no/RAand terribleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹא־יִשָּׂאlo-yis/SAdoes not regardפָנִיםfa/NIMpersonsוְלֹאve/LOnorיִקַּחyik/KACHtakesשֹׁחַד׃SHO/chada bribe

    For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

18. 18

    עֹשֶׂהo/SEHe executesמִשְׁפַּטmish/PATthe judgment ofיָתוֹםya/TOMthe fatherlessוְאַלְמָנָהve/al/ma/NAand the widowוְאֹהֵבve/o/HEVand lovesגֵּרgerthe strangerלָתֶתLA/tetin givingלוֹlohimלֶחֶםLE/chembreadוְשִׂמְלָה׃ve/sim/LAand raiment

    He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

19. 19

    וַאֲהַבְתֶּםva/a/hav/TEMlove thereforeאֶת־הַגֵּרet-hag/GERthe strangerכִּי־גֵרִיםki-ge/RIMfor strangersהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMyou wereבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

20. 20

    אֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godתִּירָאti/RAyou shall fearאֹתוֹo/TOHimתַעֲבֹדta/a/VODyou shall serveוּבוֹu/VOand to Himתִדְבָּקtid/BAKyou shall cleaveוּבִשְׁמוֹu/vish/MOand by His nameתִּשָּׁבֵעַ׃tish/sha/VE/ayou shall swear

    Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.

21. 21

    הוּאhuHe isתְהִלָּתְךָte/hil/la/te/KHAyour praiseוְהוּאve/HUand He isאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godאֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂהa/SHER-a/SAwho has doneאִתְּךָit/te/KHAfor youאֶת־הַגְּדֹלֹתet-hag/ge/do/LOTgreatוְאֶת־הַנּוֹרָאֹתve/ET-han/no/ra/OTand terrible thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichרָאוּra/Uhave seenעֵינֶיךָ׃e/NE/khayour eyes

    He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.

22. 22

    בְּשִׁבְעִיםbe/shiv/IMwith seventyנֶפֶשׁNE/feshpersonsיָרְדוּya/re/DUcame downאֲבֹתֶיךָa/vo/TE/khayour fathersמִצְרָיְמָהMits/RAY/mato Egyptוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowשָׂמְךָsa/me/KHAhas made youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godכְּכוֹכְבֵיke/khokh/VEas the stars ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensלָרֹב׃la/ROVfor multitude

    Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
