   And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

   And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Solomon which he told her not.

   And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house that he had built,

   And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.

   And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:

   וְלֹא־הֶאֱמַנְתִּיve/LO-he/e/MAN/tibut I did not believeלְדִבְרֵיהֶםle/div/re/HEMtheir wordsעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁר־בָּאתִיa/SHER-BA/tiI cameוַתִּרְאֶינָהvat/tir/E/naand had seenעֵינַיe/NAYmy eyesוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdלֹאlonotהֻגַּד־לִיhug/GAD-liwas told meחֲצִיcha/TSIhalfמַרְבִּיתmar/BITthe greatness ofחׇכְמָתֶךָchokh/ma/TE/khayour wisdomיָסַפְתָּya/SAF/tayou exceedעַל־הַשְּׁמוּעָהal-hash/she/mu/Abeyond the reportאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatשָׁמָעְתִּי׃sha/MA/tiI have heard

   Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.

   Happy are thy men, and happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.

   Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.

   וַתִּתֵּןvat/tit/TENand she gaveלַמֶּלֶךְlam/ME/lekhto the kingמֵאָהme/Aa hundredוְעֶשְׂרִיםve/es/RIMand twentyכִּכַּרkik/KARtalents ofזָהָבza/HAVgoldוּבְשָׂמִיםu/ve/sa/MIMand spicesלָרֹבla/ROVin abundanceמְאֹדme/ODveryוְאֶבֶןve/E/venand stonesיְקָרָהye/ka/RApreciousוְלֹאve/LOand notהָיָהha/YAwasכַּבֹּשֶׂםkab/BO/semlike spiceהַהוּאha/HUthatאֲשֶׁר־נָתְנָהa/SHER-na/te/NAthat gaveמַלְכַּת־שְׁבָאmal/KAT-She/VAthe queen of Shebaלַמֶּלֶךְlam/ME/lekhto the kingשְׁלֹמֹה׃She/lo/MOSolomon

   And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.

    And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.

    וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶת־עֲצֵיet-a/TSEthe timber ofהָאַלְגּוּמִּיםha/al/gum/MIMthe algumמְסִלּוֹתme/sil/LOTterracesלְבֵית־יְהֹוָהle/VET-Adonaifor the house of the LORDוּלְבֵיתu/le/VETand for the house ofהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingוְכִנֹּרוֹתve/khin/no/ROTand lyresוּנְבָלִיםu/ne/va/LIMand harpsלַשָּׁרִיםlash/sha/RIMfor the singersוְלֹא־נִרְאוּve/LO-nir/Uand none were seenכָהֵםkha/HEMlike themלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMbeforeבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofיְהוּדָה׃Ye/hu/DAJudah

    And the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD, and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were none such seen before in the land of Judah.

    וְהַמֶּלֶךְve/ham/ME/lekhand the kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonנָתַןna/TANgaveלְמַלְכַּת־שְׁבָאle/Mal/KAT-she/VAto the queen of Shebaאֶת־כׇּל־חֶפְצָהּet-kol-chef/TSAall her desireאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatשָׁאָלָהsha/A/lashe askedמִלְּבַדmil/le/VADbesidesאֲשֶׁר־הֵבִיאָהa/SHER-he/VI/awhat she had broughtאֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְel-ham/ME/lekhto the kingוַתַּהֲפֹךְvat/ta/ha/FOKHand she turnedוַתֵּלֶךְvat/TE/lekhand wentלְאַרְצָהּle/ar/TSAto her landהִיאhisheוַעֲבָדֶיהָ׃va/a/va/DE/haand her servants

    And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her servants.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passמִשְׁקַלmish/KALthe weight ofהַזָּהָבhaz/za/HAVgoldאֲשֶׁר־בָּאa/SHER-bathat cameלִשְׁלֹמֹהLish/lo/MOto Solomonבְּשָׁנָהbe/sha/NAin a yearאֶחָתe/CHAToneשֵׁשׁsheshsixמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוְשִׁשִּׁיםve/shish/SHIMand sixtyוָשֵׁשׁva/SHESHand sixכִּכְּרֵיkik/ke/REtalents ofזָהָב׃za/HAVgold

    Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;

    לְבַדle/VADbesidesמֵאַנְשֵׁיme/an/SHEfrom the men ofהַתָּרִיםhat/ta/RIMthe tradersוְהַסֹּחֲרִיםve/has/so/cha/RIMand the merchantsמְבִיאִיםme/vi/IMbroughtוְכׇל־מַלְכֵיve/KHOL-mal/KHEand all the kings ofעֲרַבA/RAVArabiaוּפַחוֹתu/fa/CHOTand the governors ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landמְבִיאִיםme/vi/IMbroughtזָהָבza/HAVgoldוָכֶסֶףva/KHE/sefand silverלִשְׁלֹמֹה׃Lish/lo/MOto Solomon

    Beside that which chapmen and merchants brought. And all the kings of Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.

    וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonמָאתַיִםma/TA/yimtwo hundredצִנָּהtsin/NAlarge shieldsזָהָבza/HAVgoldשָׁחוּטsha/CHUTbeatenשֵׁשׁsheshsixמֵאוֹתme/OThundredזָהָבza/HAVgoldשָׁחוּטsha/CHUTbeatenיַעֲלֶהya/a/LEwentעַל־הַצִּנָּהal-hats/tsin/NAinto the large shieldהָאֶחָת׃ha/e/CHATeach

    And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred shekels of beaten gold went to one target.

16. 16

    וּשְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאוֹתu/she/LOSH-me/OTand three hundredמָגִנִּיםma/gin/NIMshieldsזָהָבza/HAVgoldשָׁחוּטsha/CHUTbeatenשְׁלֹשׁshe/LOSHthreeמֵאוֹתme/OThundredזָהָבza/HAVgoldיַעֲלֶהya/a/LEwentעַל־הַמָּגֵןal-ham/ma/GENinto the shieldהָאֶחָתha/e/CHATeachוַיִּתְּנֵםvay/yit/te/NEMand put themהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingבְּבֵיתbe/VETin the house ofיַעַרYA/arthe forest ofהַלְּבָנוֹן׃Hal/le/va/NONLebanon

    And three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

17. 17

    וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingכִּסֵּא־שֵׁןkis/SE-shena throne of ivoryגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוַיְצַפֵּהוּvay/tsap/PE/huand overlaid itזָהָבza/HAVwith goldטָהוֹר׃ta/HORpure

    Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

18. 18

    וְשֵׁשׁve/SHESHand sixמַעֲלוֹתma/a/LOTstepsלַכִּסֵּאlak/kis/SEto the throneוְכֶבֶשׁve/KHE/veshand a footstoolבַּזָּהָבbaz/za/HAVof goldלַכִּסֵּאlak/kis/SEto the throneמׇאֳחָזִיםmo/o/cha/ZIMattachedוְיָדוֹתve/ya/DOTand armrestsמִזֶּהmiz/ZEon this sideוּמִזֶּהu/miz/ZEand on that sideעַל־מְקוֹםal-me/KOMon the place ofהַשָּׁבֶתhash/SHA/vetthe seatוּשְׁנַיִםu/she/NA/yimand twoאֲרָיוֹתa/ra/YOTlionsעֹמְדִיםom/DIMstandingאֵצֶלE/tselbesideהַיָּדוֹת׃hay/ya/DOTthe armrests

    And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:

    וּשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂרu/she/NEM-a/SARand twelveאֲרָיוֹתa/ra/YOTlionsעֹמְדִיםom/DIMstandingשָׁםshamthereעַל־שֵׁשׁal-sheshon the sixהַמַּעֲלוֹתham/ma/a/LOTthe stepsמִזֶּהmiz/ZEon this sideוּמִזֶּהu/miz/ZEand on that sideלֹא־נַעֲשָׂהlo-na/a/SAwas not madeכֵןkhensoלְכׇל־מַמְלָכָה׃le/KHOL-mam/la/KHAfor any kingdom

    And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.

    וְכֹלve/KHOLand allכְּלֵיke/LEthe vessels ofמַשְׁקֵהmash/KEdrinking ofהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonזָהָבza/HAVgoldוְכֹלve/KHOLand allכְּלֵיke/LEthe vessels ofבֵּית־יַעַרbet-YA/arthe house of the forest ofהַלְּבָנוֹןHal/le/va/NONLebanonזָהָבza/HAVgoldסָגוּרsa/GURrefinedאֵיןennotכֶּסֶףKE/sefsilverנֶחְשָׁבnech/SHAVwas it accountedבִּימֵיbi/MEin the days ofשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonלִמְאוּמָה׃lim/U/maas anything

    And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.

    כִּי־אֳנִיּוֹתki-o/niy/YOTfor shipsלַמֶּלֶךְlam/ME/lekhof the kingהֹלְכוֹתhol/KHOTgoingתַּרְשִׁישׁTar/SHISHto Tarshishעִםimwithעַבְדֵיav/DEthe servants ofחוּרָםChu/RAMHuramאַחַתa/CHATonceלְשָׁלוֹשׁle/sha/LOSHevery threeשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyearsתָּבוֹאנָהta/VO/nawould comeאֳנִיּוֹתo/niy/YOTthe ships ofתַּרְשִׁישׁTar/SHISHTarshishנֹשְׂאוֹתnos/OTcarryingזָהָבza/HAVgoldוָכֶסֶףva/KHE/sefand silverשֶׁנְהַבִּיםshen/hab/BIMivoryוְקוֹפִיםve/ko/FIMand apesוְתוּכִּיִּים׃ve/tuk/kiy/YIMand peacocks

    For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks.

    וַיִּגְדַּלvay/yig/DALand was greaterהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonמִכֹּלmik/KOLthan allמַלְכֵיmal/KHEthe kings ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthלְעֹשֶׁרle/O/sherin richesוְחׇכְמָה׃ve/chokh/MAand wisdom

    And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.

    וְכֹלve/KHOLand allמַלְכֵיmal/KHEthe kings ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthמְבַקְשִׁיםme/vak/SHIMsoughtאֶת־פְּנֵיet-pe/NEthe presence ofשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ato hearאֶת־חׇכְמָתוֹet-chokh/ma/TOhis wisdomאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANthat had putהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodבְּלִבּוֹ׃be/lib/BOin his heart

    And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.

24. 24

    וְהֵםve/HEMand theyמְבִיאִיםme/vi/IMwere bringingאִישׁisheach manמִנְחָתוֹmin/cha/TOhis tributeכְּלֵיke/LEthe vessels ofכֶסֶףKHE/sefsilverוּכְלֵיu/khe/LEand vessels ofזָהָבza/HAVgoldוּשְׂלָמוֹתu/se/la/MOTand garmentsנֵשֶׁקNE/shekarmorוּבְשָׂמִיםu/ve/sa/MIMand spicesסוּסִיםsu/SIMhorsesוּפְרָדִיםu/fe/ra/DIMand mulesדְּבַר־שָׁנָהde/VAR-sha/NAeach year's matterבְּשָׁנָה׃be/sha/NAin a year

    And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand there wereלִשְׁלֹמֹהLish/lo/MOto Solomonאַרְבַּעַתar/BA/atfourאֲלָפִיםa/la/FIMthousandאֻרְיוֹתur/YOTstalls forסוּסִיםsu/SIMhorsesוּמַרְכָּבוֹתu/mar/ka/VOTand chariotsוּשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂרu/she/NEM-a/SARand twelveאֶלֶףE/lefa thousandפָּרָשִׁיםpa/ra/SHIMhorsemenוַיַּנִּיחֵםvay/yan/ni/CHEMand he stationed themבְּעָרֵיbe/a/REin the cities ofהָרֶכֶבha/RE/khevchariotsוְעִם־הַמֶּלֶךְve/IM-ham/ME/lekhand with the kingבִּירוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃bI/ru/sha/LA/yimin Jerusalem

    And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand he wasמוֹשֵׁלmo/SHELrulingבְּכׇל־הַמְּלָכִיםbe/KHOL-ham/me/la/KHIMover all the kingsמִן־הַנָּהָרmin-han/na/HARfrom the riverוְעַד־אֶרֶץve/AD-E/retsto the land ofפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesוְעַדve/ADand toגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.

    וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand madeהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶת־הַכֶּסֶףet-hak/KE/sefthe silverבִּירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםbI/ru/sha/LA/yimin Jerusalemכָּאֲבָנִיםka/a/va/NIMlike stonesוְאֵתve/ETandהָאֲרָזִיםha/a/ra/ZIMthe cedarsנָתַןna/TANhe madeכַּשִּׁקְמִיםkash/shik/MIMlike the sycamoresאֲשֶׁר־בַּשְּׁפֵלָהa/SHER-Bash/she/fe/LAthat are in the Shephelahלָרֹב׃la/ROVin abundance

    And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the low plains in abundance.

    וּמוֹצִיאִיםu/mo/tsi/IMand they were bringingסוּסִיםsu/SIMhorsesמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of EgyptלִשְׁלֹמֹהLish/lo/MOto Solomonוּמִכׇּל־הָאֲרָצוֹת׃u/mik/KOL-ha/a/ra/TSOTand from all the lands

    And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.

29. 29

    Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?

    וַיִּמְלֹךְvay/yim/LOKHand he reignedשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonבִירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםVi/ru/sha/LA/yimin Jerusalemעַל־כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵלal-Kol-yis/ra/ELover all Israelאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyשָׁנָה׃sha/NAyears

    And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

31. 31

    וַיִּשְׁכַּבvay/yish/KAVand sleptשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonעִם־אֲבֹתָיוim-a/vo/TAYVwith his fathersוַיִּקְבְּרֻהוּvay/yik/be/RU/huand they buried himבְּעִירbe/IRin the city ofדָּוִידDa/VIDDavidאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherוַיִּמְלֹךְvay/yim/LOKHand he reignedרְחַבְעָםRe/chav/AMRehoboamבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonתַּחְתָּיו׃tach/TAYVin his place

    And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
