   Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

   אָזazthenיַקְהֵילyak/HELassembledשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonאֶת־זִקְנֵיet-zik/NEthe elders ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאֶת־כׇּל־רָאשֵׁיve/ET-kol-ra/SHEand all the heads ofהַמַּטּוֹתham/mat/TOTthe tribesנְשִׂיאֵיne/si/Ethe leaders ofהָאָבוֹתha/a/VOTthe fathersלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶל־יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִםel-Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimto Jerusalemלְהַעֲלוֹתle/ha/a/LOTto bring upאֶת־אֲרוֹןet-a/RONthe ark ofבְּרִית־יְהֹוָהbe/RIT-Adonaithe covenant of the LORDמֵעִירme/IRout of the city ofדָּוִידDa/VIDDavidהִיאhithat isצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONZion

   Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

   וַיִּקָּהֲלוּvay/yik/ka/ha/LUand assembledאֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְel-ham/ME/lekhto the kingכׇּל־אִישׁkol-ishall the men ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבֶּחָגbe/CHAGat the feastהוּאhuthat isהַחֹדֶשׁha/CHO/deshthe monthהַשְּׁבִעִי׃hash/she/vi/Ithe seventh

   Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.

   וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameכֹּלkolallזִקְנֵיzik/NEthe elders ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיִּשְׂאוּvay/yis/Uand took upהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesאֶת־הָאָרוֹן׃et-ha/a/RONthe ark

   And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.

   וַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand they brought upאֶת־הָאָרוֹןet-ha/a/RONthe arkוְאֶת־אֹהֶלve/ET-O/heland the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingוְאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵיve/ET-kol-ke/LEand all the vessels ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshholinessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereבָּאֹהֶלba/O/helin the tentהֶעֱלוּhe/e/LUbrought upאֹתָםo/TAMthemהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsהַלְוִיִּם׃Hal/viy/YIMthe Levites

   And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

6. 6

   וְהַמֶּלֶךְve/ham/ME/lekhand the kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonוְכׇל־עֲדַתve/KHOL-a/DATand all the congregation ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהַנּוֹעָדִיםhan/no/a/DIMwho had assembledעָלָיוa/LAYVto himלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאָרוֹןha/a/RONthe arkמְזַבְּחִיםme/zab/be/CHIMwere sacrificingצֹאןtsonflocksוּבָקָרu/va/KARand herdsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־יִסָּפְרוּlo-yis/sa/fe/RUcould not be countedוְלֹאve/LOand notיִמָּנוּyim/ma/NUnumberedמֵרֹב׃me/ROVfor multitude

   Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

   וַיָּבִיאוּvay/ya/VI/uand broughtהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsאֶת־אֲרוֹןet-a/RONthe ark ofבְּרִית־יְהֹוָהbe/RIT-Adonaithe covenant of the LORDאֶל־מְקוֹמוֹel-me/ko/MOto its placeאֶל־דְּבִירel-de/VIRto the inner sanctuary ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseאֶל־קֹדֶשׁel-KO/deshto the holy ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםhak/ko/da/SHIMholiesאֶל־תַּחַתel-TA/chatunderכַּנְפֵיkan/FEthe wings ofהַכְּרוּבִים׃hak/ke/ru/VIMthe cherubim

   And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:

   וַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand they wereהַכְּרוּבִיםhak/ke/ru/VIMthe cherubimפֹּרְשִׂיםpor/SIMspreadכְּנָפַיִםke/na/FA/yimwingsעַל־מְקוֹםal-me/KOMover the place ofהָאָרוֹןha/a/RONthe arkוַיְכַסּוּvay/khas/SUand they coveredהַכְּרוּבִיםhak/ke/ru/VIMthe cherubimעַל־הָאָרוֹןal-ha/a/RONover the arkוְעַל־בַּדָּיוve/AL-bad/DAYVand over its polesמִלְמָעְלָה׃mil/MA/laabove

   For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

   וַיַּאֲרִיכוּvay/ya/a/RI/khuand they extendedהַבַּדִּיםhab/bad/DIMthe polesוַיֵּרָאוּvay/ye/ra/Uand they were seenרָאשֵׁיra/SHEthe ends ofהַבַּדִּיםhab/bad/DIMthe polesמִן־הָאָרוֹןmin-ha/a/RONfrom the arkעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEin front ofהַדְּבִירhad/de/VIRthe inner sanctuaryוְלֹאve/LOand notיֵרָאוּye/ra/Uwere they seenהַחוּצָהha/CHU/tsaoutsideוַיְהִי־שָׁםvay/HI-shamand it is thereעַדaduntilהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.

10. 10

    אֵיןenthere was nothingבָּאָרוֹןba/a/RONin the arkרַקrakonlyשְׁנֵיshe/NEthe twoהַלֻּחוֹתhal/lu/CHOTthe tabletsאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANthat putמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesבְּחֹרֵבbe/Cho/REVat Horebאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenכָּרַתka/RATmadeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעִם־בְּנֵיim-be/NEwith the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבְּצֵאתָםbe/tse/TAMwhen they came outמִמִּצְרָיִם׃mim/Mits/RA/yimfrom Egypt

    There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.

11. 11

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְּצֵאתbe/TSETwhen came outהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsמִן־הַקֹּדֶשׁmin-hak/KO/deshfrom the holy placeכִּיkiforכׇּל־הַכֹּהֲנִיםkol-hak/ko/ha/NIMall the priestsהַנִּמְצְאִיםhan/nim/tse/IMwho were presentהִתְקַדָּשׁוּhit/kad/DA/shuhad sanctified themselvesאֵיןennotלִשְׁמוֹרlish/MORto keepלְמַחְלְקוֹת׃le/mach/le/KOTby divisions

    And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

    וְהַלְוִיִּםVe/hal/viy/YIMand the Levitesהַמְשֹׁרְרִיםham/shor/RIMthe singersלְכֻלָּםle/khul/LAMall of themלְאָסָףle/A/SAFof Asaphלְהֵימָןle/He/MANof HemanלִידֻתוּןlI/du/TUNof Jeduthunוְלִבְנֵיהֶםve/liv/ne/HEMand of their sonsוְלַאֲחֵיהֶםve/la/a/che/HEMand of their brothersמְלֻבָּשִׁיםme/lub/ba/SHIMclothed inבּוּץbutsfine linenבִּמְצִלְתַּיִםbim/tsil/TA/yimwith cymbalsוּבִנְבָלִיםu/vin/va/LIMand with harpsוְכִנֹּרוֹתve/khin/no/ROTand lyresעֹמְדִיםom/DIMstandingמִזְרָחmiz/RACHeast ofלַמִּזְבֵּחַlam/miz/BE/achthe altarוְעִמָּהֶםve/im/ma/HEMand with themכֹּהֲנִיםko/ha/NIMpriestsלְמֵאָהle/me/Aa hundredוְעֶשְׂרִיםve/es/RIMand twenty[מַחְצְרִים]mach/tse/RIMblowingבַּחֲצֹצְרוֹת׃ba/cha/tsots/ROTwith trumpets

    Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכְאֶחָדkhe/e/CHADas one[לַמְחַצְּרִים]lam/chats/tse/RIMfor the trumpetersוְלַמְשֹׁרְרִיםve/lam/shor/RIMand for the singersלְהַשְׁמִיעַle/hash/MI/ato make heardקוֹל־אֶחָדkol-e/CHADone soundלְהַלֵּלle/hal/LELto praiseוּלְהֹדוֹתu/le/ho/DOTand to give thanksלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוּכְהָרִיםu/khe/ha/RIMand when they lifted upקוֹלkolthe soundבַּחֲצֹצְרוֹתba/cha/tsots/ROTwith trumpetsוּבִמְצִלְתַּיִםu/vim/tsil/TA/yimand with cymbalsוּבִכְלֵיu/vikh/LEand with instruments ofהַשִּׁירhash/SHIRmusicוּבְהַלֵּלu/ve/hal/LELand when praisingלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכִּיkiforטוֹבtovgoodכִּיkiforלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverחַסְדּוֹchas/DOHis kindnessוְהַבַּיִתve/hab/BA/yitand the houseמָלֵאma/LEwas filled withעָנָןa/NANa cloudבֵּיתbetthe house ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

14. 14

    וְלֹא־יָכְלוּve/LO-ya/khe/LUand could notהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsלַעֲמוֹדla/a/MODto standלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto ministerמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofהֶעָנָןhe/a/NANthe cloudכִּי־מָלֵאki-ma/LEfor filledכְבוֹד־יְהֹוָהkhe/VOD-Adonaithe glory of the LORDאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.
