   After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.

   וַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahכִּי־בָאki-vathat had comeסַנְחֵרִיבSan/che/RIVSennacheribוּפָנָיוu/fa/NAYVand that his face wasלַמִּלְחָמָהlam/mil/cha/MAfor warעַל־יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃al-Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimagainst Jerusalem

   And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem,

   וַיִּוָּעַץvay/yiv/va/ATSand he took counselעִם־שָׂרָיוim-sa/RAYVwith his princesוְגִבֹּרָיוve/gib/bo/RAYVand his mighty menלִסְתּוֹםlis/TOMto stop upאֶת־מֵימֵיet-me/MEthe waters ofהָעֲיָנוֹתha/a/ya/NOTthe springsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלָעִירla/IRthe cityוַיַּעְזְרוּהוּ׃vay/ya/ze/RU/huand they helped him

   He took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city: and they did help him.

   וַיִּקָּבְצוּvay/yik/ka/ve/TSUso gatheredעַם־רָבam-ravmany peopleוַיִּסְתְּמוּvay/yis/te/MUand they stopped upאֶת־כׇּל־הַמַּעְיָנוֹתet-kol-ham/ma/ya/NOTall the springsוְאֶת־הַנַּחַלve/ET-han/NA/chaland the brookהַשּׁוֹטֵףhash/sho/TEFthat flowedבְּתוֹךְ־הָאָרֶץbe/TOKH-ha/A/retsthrough the midst of the landלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלָמָּהLAM/mawhyיָבוֹאוּya/VO/ushould comeמַלְכֵיmal/KHEthe kings ofאַשּׁוּרAsh/SHURAssyriaוּמָצְאוּu/ma/tse/Uand findמַיִםMA/yimwaterרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmuch

   So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water?

   וַיִּתְחַזַּקvay/yit/chaz/ZAKand he took courageוַיִּבֶןvay/YI/venand built upאֶת־כׇּל־הַחוֹמָהet-kol-ha/cho/MAall the wallהַפְּרוּצָהhap/pe/ru/TSAthat was brokenוַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland raised itעַל־הַמִּגְדָּלוֹתal-ham/mig/da/LOTup to the towersוְלַחוּצָהve/la/CHU/tsaand outsideהַחוֹמָהha/cho/MAthe wallאַחֶרֶתa/CHE/retanotherוַיְחַזֵּקvay/chaz/ZEKand repairedאֶת־הַמִּלּוֹאet-Ham/mil/LOthe Milloעִירirin the city ofדָּוִידDa/VIDDavidוַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand he madeשֶׁלַחSHE/lachdartsלָרֹבla/ROVin abundanceוּמָגִנִּים׃u/ma/gin/NIMand shields

   Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance.

   וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand he setשָׂרֵיsa/REcommanders ofמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarעַל־הָעָםal-ha/AMover the peopleוַיִּקְבְּצֵםvay/yik/be/TSEMand gathered themאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himאֶל־רְחוֹבel-re/CHOVin the square ofשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gate ofהָעִירha/IRthe cityוַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeעַל־לְבָבָםal-le/va/VAMto their heartלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

   And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying,

   חִזְקוּchiz/KUbe strongוְאִמְצוּve/im/TSUand be courageousאַל־תִּירְאוּal-ti/re/Udo not fearוְאַל־תֵּחַתּוּve/AL-te/CHAT/tuand do not be dismayedמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbeforeמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofאַשּׁוּרAsh/SHURAssyriaוּמִלִּפְנֵיu/mil/lif/NEor beforeכׇּל־הֶהָמוֹןkol-he/ha/MONall the multitudeאֲשֶׁר־עִמּוֹa/SHER-im/MOthat is with himכִּי־עִמָּנוּki-im/MA/nufor with usרַבravis greaterמֵעִמּוֹ׃me/im/MOthan with him

   Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:

   With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

   After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, (but he himself laid siege against Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying,

    Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem?

    הֲלֹאha/LOdoes notיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahמַסִּיתmas/SITmisleadאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלָתֵתla/TETto giveאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלָמוּתla/MUTto deathבְּרָעָבbe/ra/AVby famineוּבְצָמָאu/ve/tsa/MAand by thirstלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godיַצִּילֵנוּyats/tsi/LE/nuwill deliver usמִכַּףmik/KAFout of the hand ofמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofאַשּׁוּר׃Ash/SHURAssyria

    Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

    הֲלֹא־הוּאha/LO-huhas notיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahהֵסִירhe/SIRremovedאֶת־בָּמֹתָיוet-ba/mo/TAYVHis high placesוְאֶת־מִזְבְּחֹתָיוve/ET-miz/be/cho/TAYVand His altarsוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand commandedלִיהוּדָהlI/hu/DAto Judahוְלִירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםve/Li/ru/sha/LA/yimand to Jerusalemלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeמִזְבֵּחַmiz/BE/achaltarאֶחָדe/CHADoneתִּשְׁתַּחֲווּtish/ta/cha/VUyou shall worshipוְעָלָיוve/a/LAYVand on itתַּקְטִירוּ׃tak/TI/ruyou shall burn incense

    Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?

    הֲלֹאha/LOdo notתֵדְעוּted/Uyou knowמֶהmewhatעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/tihave doneאֲנִיa/NIIוַאֲבוֹתַיva/a/vo/TAYand my fathersלְכֹלle/KHOLto allעַמֵּיam/MEthe peoples ofהָאֲרָצוֹתha/a/ra/TSOTthe landsהֲיָכוֹלha/ya/KHOLableיָכְלוּya/khe/LUwere theyאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe gods ofגּוֹיֵgo/YEthe nations ofהָאֲרָצוֹתha/a/ra/TSOTthe landsלְהַצִּילle/hats/TSILto deliverאֶת־אַרְצָםet-ar/TSAMtheir landמִיָּדִי׃miy/ya/DIout of my hand

    Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?

    מִיmiwhoבְּכׇל־אֱלֹהֵיbe/KHOL-e/lo/HEamong all the gods ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהֶחֱרִימוּhe/che/RI/mudevoted to destructionאֲבוֹתַיa/vo/TAYmy fathersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָכוֹלya/KHOLcouldלְהַצִּילle/hats/TSILto deliverאֶת־עַמּוֹet-am/MOhis peopleמִיָּדִיmiy/ya/DIout of my handכִּיkithatיוּכַלyu/KHALshould be ableאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godלְהַצִּילle/hats/TSILto deliverאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִיָּדִי׃miy/ya/DIout of my hand

    Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of mine hand?

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאַל־יַשִּׁיאal-yash/SHIdo not let deceiveאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouחִזְקִיָּהוּChiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahוְאַל־יַסִּיתve/AL-yas/SITand do not let misleadאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכָּזֹאתka/ZOTlike thisוְאַל־תַּאֲמִינוּve/AL-ta/a/MI/nuand do not believeלוֹlohimכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notיוּכַלyu/KHALhas been ableכׇּל־אֱלוֹהַּkol-e/LO/ahany god ofכׇּל־גּוֹיkol-goyany nationוּמַמְלָכָהu/mam/la/KHAor kingdomלְהַצִּילle/hats/TSILto deliverעַמּוֹam/MOhis peopleמִיָּדִיmiy/ya/DIout of my handוּמִיַּדu/miy/YADor out of the hand ofאֲבוֹתָיa/vo/TAYmy fathersאַףafhow muchכִּיkimoreאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godלֹא־יַצִּילוּlo-yats/TSI/luwill not deliverאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִיָּדִי׃miy/ya/DIout of my hand

    Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?

    וְעוֹדve/ODand still moreדִּבְּרוּdib/be/RUspokeעֲבָדָיוa/va/DAYVhis servantsעַל־יְהֹוָהal-Adonaiagainst the LORDהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוְעַלve/ALand againstיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahעַבְדּוֹ׃av/DOHis servant

    And his servants spake yet more against the LORD God, and against his servant Hezekiah.

17. 17

    וּסְפָרִיםu/se/fa/RIMand lettersכָּתַבka/TAVhe wroteלְחָרֵףle/cha/REFto tauntלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְלֵאמֹרve/le/MORand to speakעָלָיוa/LAYVagainst Himלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכֵּאלֹהֵיke/lo/HEas the gods ofגּוֹיֵיgo/YEthe nations ofהָאֲרָצוֹתha/a/ra/TSOTthe landsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־הִצִּילוּlo-hits/TSI/luhave not deliveredעַמָּםam/MAMtheir peopleמִיָּדִיmiy/ya/DIout of my handכֵּןkensoלֹא־יַצִּילlo-yats/TSILshall not deliverאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahעַמּוֹam/MOhis peopleמִיָּדִי׃miy/ya/DIout of my hand

    He wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.

18. 18

    וַיִּקְרְאוּvay/yik/re/Uand they called outבְקוֹל־גָּדוֹלve/KOL-ga/DOLwith a loud voiceיְהוּדִיתYe/hu/DITin Judeanעַל־עַםal-amto the people ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho wereעַל־הַחוֹמָהal-ha/cho/MAupon the wallלְיָרְאָםle/ya/re/AMto frighten themוּלְבַהֲלָםu/le/va/ha/LAMand to terrify themלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִלְכְּדוּyil/ke/DUthey might takeאֶת־הָעִיר׃et-ha/IRthe city

    Then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews' speech unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.

    וַיְדַבְּרוּvay/dab/be/RUand they spokeאֶל־אֱלֹהֵיel-e/lo/HEagainst the God ofיְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemכְּעַלke/ALas aboutאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe gods ofעַמֵּיam/MEthe peoples ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofיְדֵיye/DEthe hands ofהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMman

    And they spake against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.

20. 20

    וַיִּתְפַּלֵּלvay/yit/pal/LELand prayedיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingוִישַׁעְיָהוּVi/sha/YA/huand Isaiahבֶן־אָמוֹץven-A/MOTSthe son of Amozהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetעַל־זֹאתal-zotbecause of thisוַיִּזְעֲקוּvay/yiz/a/KUand criedהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimto the heavens

    And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.

    וַיִּשְׁלַחvay/yish/LACHand sentיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמַלְאָךְmal/AKHan angelוַיַּכְחֵדvay/yakh/CHEDwho cut offכׇּל־גִּבּוֹרkol-gib/BORevery mighty man ofחַיִלCHA/yilvalorוְנָגִידve/na/GIDand leaderוְשָׂרve/SARand commanderבְּמַחֲנֵהbe/ma/cha/NEin the camp ofמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofאַשּׁוּרAsh/SHURAssyriaוַיָּשׇׁבvay/YA/shovso he returnedבְּבֹשֶׁתbe/VO/shetwith shame ofפָּנִיםpa/NIMfaceלְאַרְצוֹle/ar/TSOto his landוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand he came intoבֵּיתbetthe house ofאֱלֹהָיוe/lo/HAYVhis god[וּמִיצִיאֵי]u/mi/tsi/Esome of those who came out ofמֵעָיוme/AYVhis own bodyשָׁםshamthereהִפִּילֻהוּhip/pi/LU/hustruck him downבֶחָרֶב׃ve/CHA/revby the sword

    And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

    וַיּוֹשַׁעvay/YO/shathus savedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־יְחִזְקִיָּהוּet-Ye/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahוְאֵתve/ETandיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitants ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemמִיַּדmiy/YADfrom the hand ofסַנְחֵרִיבSan/che/RIVSennacheribמֶלֶךְ־אַשּׁוּרME/lekh-Ash/SHURthe king of Assyriaוּמִיַּד־כֹּלu/miy/YAD-koland from the hand of allוַיְנַהֲלֵםvay/na/ha/LEMand guided themמִסָּבִיב׃mis/sa/VIVon every side

    Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.

    וְרַבִּיםve/rab/BIMand manyמְבִיאִיםme/vi/IMbroughtמִנְחָהmin/CHAgiftsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDלִירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםlI/ru/sha/LA/yimto Jerusalemוּמִגְדָּנוֹתu/mig/da/NOTand precious thingsלִיחִזְקִיָּהוּlI/chiz/kiy/YA/huto HezekiahמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוַיִּנַּשֵּׂאvay/yin/nas/SEso that he was exaltedלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the eyes ofכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםkhol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsמֵאַחֲרֵי־כֵן׃me/a/cha/RE-khenfrom then on

    And many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations from thenceforth.

24. 24

    בַּיָּמִיםbay/ya/MIMin the daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseחָלָהcha/LAwas sickיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahעַד־לָמוּתad-la/MUTto the point of deathוַיִּתְפַּלֵּלvay/yit/pal/LELand he prayedאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand He spokeלוֹloto himוּמוֹפֵתu/mo/FETand a signנָתַןna/TANHe gaveלוֹ׃loto him

    In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the LORD: and he spake unto him, and he gave him a sign.

    וְלֹא־כִגְמֻלve/LO-khig/MULbut not according to the benefitעָלָיוa/LAYVdone to himהֵשִׁיבhe/SHIVdid renderיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahכִּיkiforגָבַהּga/VAwas lifted upלִבּוֹlib/BOhis heartוַיְהִיvay/HItherefore there wasעָלָיוa/LAYVupon himקֶצֶףKE/tsefwrathוְעַל־יְהוּדָהve/AL-ye/hu/DAand upon Judahוִירוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃Vi/ru/sha/LA/yimand Jerusalem

    But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.

    וַיִּכָּנַעvay/yik/ka/NAthen humbled himselfיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahבְּגֹבַהּbe/GO/vafor the pride ofלִבּוֹlib/BOhis heartהוּאhuheוְיוֹשְׁבֵיve/yosh/VEand the inhabitants ofיְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemוְלֹא־בָאve/LO-vaso that did not comeעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themקֶצֶףKE/tsefthe wrath ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבִּימֵיbi/MEin the days ofיְחִזְקִיָּהוּ׃Ye/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiah

    Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand hadלִיחִזְקִיָּהוּlI/chiz/kiy/YA/huto HezekiahעֹשֶׁרO/sherrichesוְכָבוֹדve/kha/VODand honorהַרְבֵּהhar/BEmuchמְאֹדme/ODveryוְאֹצָרוֹתve/o/tsa/ROTand treasuriesעָשָׂה־לוֹa/SA-lohe made for himselfלְכֶסֶףle/KHE/seffor silverוּלְזָהָבu/le/za/HAVand for goldוּלְאֶבֶןu/le/E/venand for stonesיְקָרָהye/ka/RApreciousוְלִבְשָׂמִיםve/liv/sa/MIMand for spicesוּלְמָגִנִּיםu/le/ma/gin/NIMand for shieldsוּלְכֹלu/le/KHOLand for allכְּלֵיke/LEarticles ofחֶמְדָּה׃chem/DAdesire

    And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels;

28. 28

    וּמִסְכְּנוֹתu/mis/ke/NOTand storehousesלִתְבוּאַתlit/vu/ATfor the produce ofדָּגָןda/GANgrainוְתִירוֹשׁve/ti/ROSHand new wineוְיִצְהָרve/yits/HARand oilוְאֻרָוֺתve/u/ra/VOTand stallsלְכׇל־בְּהֵמָהle/KHOL-be/he/MAfor every beastוּבְהֵמָהu/ve/he/MAand beastוַעֲדָרִיםva/a/da/RIMand flocksלָאֲוֵרֹת׃la/a/ve/ROTfor folds

    Storehouses also for the increase of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls for all manner of beasts, and cotes for flocks.

29. 29

    וְעָרִיםve/a/RIMand citiesעָשָׂהa/SAhe madeלוֹlofor himselfוּמִקְנֵה־צֹאןu/mik/NE-tsonand possessions of flocksוּבָקָרu/va/KARand herdsלָרֹבla/ROVin abundanceכִּיkiforנָתַן־לוֹna/TAN-lohad given himאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodרְכוּשׁre/KHUSHsubstanceרַבravgreatמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

    Moreover he provided him cities, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance: for God had given him substance very much.

30. 30

    וְהוּאve/HUthis sameיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahסָתַםsa/TAMstoppedאֶת־מוֹצָאet-mo/TSAthe outlet ofמֵימֵיme/MEthe waters ofגִיחוֹןGi/CHONGihonהָעֶלְיוֹןha/el/YONthe upperוַיַּישְּׁרֵםvay/yay/she/REMand brought them straightלְמַטָּה־מַּעְרָבָהle/MAT/ta-ma/RA/vadown to the west sideלְעִירle/IRof the city ofדָּוִידDa/VIDDavidוַיַּצְלַחvay/yats/LACHand prosperedיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahבְּכׇל־מַעֲשֵׂהוּ׃be/KHOL-ma/a/SE/huin all his works

    This same Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon, and brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.

31. 31

    וְכֵןve/KHENand soבִּמְלִיצֵיbim/li/TSEwith the envoys ofשָׂרֵיsa/REthe princes ofבָבֶלVa/VELBabylonהַמְשַׁלְּחִיםham/shal/le/CHIMwho sentעָלָיוa/LAYVto himלִדְרֹשׁlid/ROSHto inquire aboutהַמּוֹפֵתham/mo/FETthe signאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיָהha/YAwas doneבָאָרֶץva/A/retsin the landעֲזָבוֹa/za/VOleft himהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodלְנַסּוֹתוֹle/nas/so/TOto test himלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowכׇּל־בִּלְבָבוֹ׃kol-bil/va/VOall that was in his heart

    Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.

32. 32

    וְיֶתֶרve/YE/terand the rest ofדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe acts ofיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahוַחֲסָדָיוva/cha/sa/DAYVand his kindnessesהִנָּםhin/NAMbehold they areכְּתוּבִיםke/tu/VIMwrittenבַּחֲזוֹןba/cha/ZONin the vision ofיְשַׁעְיָהוּYe/sha/YA/huIsaiahבֶן־אָמוֹץven-A/MOTSthe son of Amozהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetעַל־סֵפֶרal-SE/ferin the book ofמַלְכֵי־יְהוּדָהmal/KHE-Ye/hu/DAthe kings of Judahוְיִשְׂרָאֵל׃ve/Yis/ra/ELand Israel

    Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

    וַיִּשְׁכַּבvay/yish/KAVand sleptיְחִזְקִיָּהוּYe/chiz/kiy/YA/huHezekiahעִם־אֲבֹתָיוim-a/vo/TAYVwith his fathersוַיִּקְבְּרֻהוּvay/yik/be/RU/huand they buried himבְּמַעֲלֵהbe/ma/a/LEin the ascent ofקִבְרֵיkiv/REthe tombs ofבְנֵי־דָוִידve/NE-da/VIDthe sons of Davidוְכָבוֹדve/kha/VODand honorעָשׂוּ־לוֹa/SU-lodid himבְמוֹתוֹve/mo/TOat his deathכׇּל־יְהוּדָהkol-Ye/hu/DAall Judahוְיֹשְׁבֵיve/yosh/VEand the inhabitants ofיְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemוַיִּמְלֹךְvay/yim/LOKHand reignedמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehבְנוֹve/NOhis sonתַּחְתָּיו׃tach/TAYVin his place

    And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
