   Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

   וַיִּקָּהֲלוּvay/yik/ka/ha/LUand assembledאֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְel-ham/ME/lekhto the kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonכׇּל־אִישׁkol-ishall the men ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבְּיֶרַחbe/YE/rachin the month ofהָאֵתָנִיםHa/e/ta/NIMEthanimבֶּחָגbe/CHAGat the festivalהוּאhuthat isהַחֹדֶשׁha/CHO/deshthe monthהַשְּׁבִיעִי׃hash/she/vi/Ithe seventh

   And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

   וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameכֹּלkolallזִקְנֵיzik/NEthe elders ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיִּשְׂאוּvay/yis/Uand took upהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsאֶת־הָאָרוֹן׃et-ha/a/RONthe ark

   And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

   וַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand they brought upאֶת־אֲרוֹןet-a/RONthe ark ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְאֶת־אֹהֶלve/ET-O/heland the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingוְאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵיve/ET-kol-ke/LEand all the vessels ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshholinessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereבָּאֹהֶלba/O/helin the tentוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand brought upאֹתָםo/TAMthemהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsוְהַלְוִיִּם׃Ve/hal/viy/YIMand the Levites

   And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.

   וְהַמֶּלֶךְve/ham/ME/lekhand the kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonוְכׇל־עֲדַתve/KHOL-a/DATand all the congregation ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהַנּוֹעָדִיםhan/no/a/DIMwho had assembledעָלָיוa/LAYVto himאִתּוֹit/TOwere with himלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאָרוֹןha/a/RONthe arkמְזַבְּחִיםme/zab/be/CHIMwere sacrificingצֹאןtsonflocksוּבָקָרu/va/KARand herdsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־יִסָּפְרוּlo-yis/sa/fe/RUcould not be countedוְלֹאve/LOand notיִמָּנוּyim/ma/NUnumberedמֵרֹב׃me/ROVfor multitude

   And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

   וַיָּבִאוּvay/ya/VI/uand brought inהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsאֶת־אֲרוֹןet-a/RONthe ark ofבְּרִית־יְהֹוָהbe/RIT-Adonaithe covenant of the LORDאֶל־מְקוֹמוֹel-me/ko/MOto its placeאֶל־דְּבִירel-de/VIRto the inner sanctuary ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseאֶל־קֹדֶשׁel-KO/deshto the holy ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםhak/ko/da/SHIMholiesאֶל־תַּחַתel-TA/chatunderכַּנְפֵיkan/FEthe wings ofהַכְּרוּבִים׃hak/ke/ru/VIMthe cherubim

   And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

   כִּיkiforהַכְּרוּבִיםhak/ke/ru/VIMthe cherubimפֹּרְשִׂיםpor/SIMspreadכְּנָפַיִםke/na/FA/yimwingsאֶל־מְקוֹםel-me/KOMover the place ofהָאָרוֹןha/a/RONthe arkוַיָּסֹכּוּvay/ya/SOK/kuand coveredהַכְּרֻבִיםhak/ke/ru/VIMthe cherubimעַל־הָאָרוֹןal-ha/a/RONover the arkוְעַל־בַּדָּיוve/AL-bad/DAYVand over its polesמִלְמָעְלָה׃mil/MA/laabove

   For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

   וַיַּאֲרִכוּvay/ya/a/ri/KHUand they extendedהַבַּדִּיםhab/bad/DIMthe polesוַיֵּרָאוּvay/ye/ra/Uand they were seenרָאשֵׁיra/SHEthe ends ofהַבַּדִּיםhab/bad/DIMthe polesמִן־הַקֹּדֶשׁmin-hak/KO/deshfrom the holy placeעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEin front ofהַדְּבִירhad/de/VIRthe inner sanctuaryוְלֹאve/LObut notיֵרָאוּye/ra/Uwere they seenהַחוּצָהha/CHU/tsaoutsideוַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand they wereשָׁםshamthereעַדaduntilהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.

   אֵיןenthere was nothingבָּאָרוֹןba/a/RONin the arkרַקrakexceptשְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoלֻחוֹתlu/CHOTthe tablets ofהָאֲבָנִיםha/a/va/NIMstoneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהִנִּחַhin/NI/achputשָׁםshamthereמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesבְּחֹרֵבbe/Cho/REVat Horebאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenכָּרַתka/RATmadeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעִם־בְּנֵיim-be/NEwith the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבְּצֵאתָםbe/tse/TAMwhen they came outמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

   There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְּצֵאתbe/TSETwhen came outהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsמִן־הַקֹּדֶשׁmin-hak/KO/deshfrom the holy placeוְהֶעָנָןve/he/a/NANand the cloudמָלֵאma/LEfilledאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

11. 11

    וְלֹא־יָכְלוּve/LO-ya/khe/LUand could notהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsלַעֲמֹדla/a/MODto standלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto ministerמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofהֶעָנָןhe/a/NANthe cloudכִּי־מָלֵאki-ma/LEfor filledכְבוֹד־יְהֹוָהkhe/VOD-Adonaithe glory of the LORDאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

12. 12

    אָזazthenאָמַרa/MARsaidשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאָמַרa/MARsaidלִשְׁכֹּןlish/KONto dwellבָּעֲרָפֶל׃ba/a/ra/FELin thick darkness

    Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

13. 13

    בָּנֹהba/NObuildבָנִיתִיva/NI/tiI have builtבֵּיתbeta house ofזְבֻלze/VULlofty abodeלָךְlakhfor Youמָכוֹןma/KHONa fixed placeלְשִׁבְתְּךָle/shiv/te/KHAfor You to dwell inעוֹלָמִים׃o/la/MIMforever

    I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

14. 14

    וַיַּסֵּבvay/yas/SEVand turned aroundהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶת־פָּנָיוet-pa/NAYVhis faceוַיְבָרֶךְvay/VA/rekhand blessedאֵת־כׇּל־קְהַלet-kol-ke/HALall the assembly ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְכׇל־קְהַלve/KHOL-ke/HALand all the assembly ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעֹמֵד׃o/MEDwas standing

    And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)

15. 15

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidבָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeבְּפִיוbe/FIVwith His mouthאֵת־דָּוִדet-Da/VIDwith Davidאָבִיa/VImy fatherוּבְיָדוֹu/ve/ya/DOand with His handמִלֵּאmil/LEhas fulfilledלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

16. 16

    מִן־הַיּוֹםmin-hay/YOMfrom the dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהוֹצֵאתִיho/TSE/tiI brought outאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MIMy peopleאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Yis/ra/ELIsraelמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptלֹא־בָחַרְתִּיlo-va/CHAR/tiI did not chooseבְעִירve/IRa cityמִכֹּלmik/KOLout of allשִׁבְטֵיshiv/TEthe tribes ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildבַּיִתBA/yita houseלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTthat might beשְׁמִיshe/MIMy nameשָׁםshamthereוָאֶבְחַרva/ev/CHARbut I choseבְּדָוִדBe/da/VIDDavidלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beעַל־עַמִּיal-am/MIover My peopleיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.

17. 17

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it wasעִם־לְבַבim-le/VAVin the heart ofדָּוִדDa/VIDDavidאָבִיa/VImy fatherלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildבַּיִתBA/yita houseלְשֵׁםle/SHEMfor the name ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

18. 18

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־דָּוִדel-Da/VIDto Davidאָבִיa/VImy fatherיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיָהha/YAit wasעִם־לְבָבְךָim-le/va/ve/KHAin your heartלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildבַּיִתBA/yita houseלִשְׁמִיlish/MIfor My nameהֱטִיבֹתָhe/ti/VO/tayou did wellכִּיkithatהָיָהha/YAit wasעִם־לְבָבֶךָ׃im-le/va/VE/khain your heart

    And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

19. 19

    רַקrakonlyאַתָּהat/TAyouלֹאlonotתִבְנֶהtiv/NEyou shall buildהַבָּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseכִּיkibutאִם־בִּנְךָim-bin/KHAonly your sonהַיֹּצֵאhay/yo/TSEwho shall come outמֵחֲלָצֶיךָme/cha/la/TSE/khafrom your loinsהוּא־יִבְנֶהhu-yiv/NEhe shall buildהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseלִשְׁמִי׃lish/MIfor My name

    Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

    וַיָּקֶםvay/YA/kemand has establishedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־דְּבָרוֹet-de/va/ROHis wordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatדִּבֵּרdib/BERHe spokeוָאָקֻםva/a/KUMand I have risenתַּחַתTA/chatin place ofדָּוִדDa/VIDDavidאָבִיa/VImy fatherוָאֵשֵׁבva/e/SHEVand I sitעַל־כִּסֵּאal-kis/SEon the throne ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוָאֶבְנֶהva/ev/NEand I have builtהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseלְשֵׁםle/SHEMfor the name ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

21. 21

    וָאָשִׂםva/a/SIMand I have setשָׁםshamthereמָקוֹםma/KOMa placeלָאָרוֹןla/a/RONfor the arkאֲשֶׁר־שָׁםa/SHER-shamin which isבְּרִיתbe/RITthe covenant ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatכָּרַתka/RATHe madeעִם־אֲבֹתֵינוּim-a/vo/TE/nuwith our fathersבְּהוֹצִיאוֹbe/ho/tsi/Owhen He brought outאֹתָםo/TAMthemמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

22. 22

    וַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeמִזְבַּחmiz/BACHthe altar ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנֶגֶדNE/gedin front ofכׇּל־קְהַלkol-ke/HALall the assembly ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיִּפְרֹשׂvay/yif/ROSand spread outכַּפָּיוkap/PAYVhis palmsהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimtoward the heavens

    And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

23. 23

    וַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֵין־כָּמוֹךָen-ka/MO/khathere is none like Youאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensמִמַּעַלmim/MA/alaboveוְעַל־הָאָרֶץve/AL-ha/A/retsand on the earthמִתָּחַתmit/TA/chatbeneathשֹׁמֵרsho/MERkeepingהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantוְהַחֶסֶדve/ha/CHE/sedand the kindnessלַעֲבָדֶיךָla/a/va/DE/khafor Your servantsהַהֹלְכִיםha/hol/KHIMwho walkלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore Youבְּכׇל־לִבָּם׃be/KHOL-lib/BAMwith all their heart

    And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

24. 24

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoשָׁמַרְתָּsha/MAR/tahave keptלְעַבְדְּךָle/av/de/KHAfor Your servantדָּוִדDa/VIDDavidאָבִיa/VImy fatherאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּרְתָּet-a/SHER-dib/BAR/tawhat You spokeלוֹloto himוַתְּדַבֵּרvat/te/dab/BERand You spokeבְּפִיךָbe/FI/khawith Your mouthוּבְיָדְךָu/ve/ya/de/KHAand with Your handמִלֵּאתָmil/LE/tahave fulfilledכַּיּוֹםkay/YOMas the dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelשְׁמֹרshe/MORkeepלְעַבְדְּךָle/av/de/KHAfor Your servantדָוִדDa/VIDDavidאָבִיa/VImy fatherאֵת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatדִּבַּרְתָּdib/BAR/taYou spokeלּוֹloto himלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלֹא־יִכָּרֵתlo-yik/ka/RETthere shall not be cut offלְךָle/KHAfor youאִישׁisha manמִלְּפָנַיmil/le/fa/NAYfrom before Meיֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVsittingעַל־כִּסֵּאal-kis/SEon the throne ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelרַקrakonlyאִם־יִשְׁמְרוּim-yish/me/RUif they keepבָנֶיךָva/NE/khayour sonsאֶת־דַּרְכָּםet-dar/KAMtheir wayלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore Meכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהָלַכְתָּha/LAKH/tayou have walkedלְפָנָי׃le/fa/NAYbefore Me

    Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

26. 26

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEO God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelיֵאָמֶןye/A/menlet be confirmedנָאnaI pray(דבריך)davarayakh[דְּבָרְךָ]de/va/re/KHAYour wordאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatדִּבַּרְתָּdib/BAR/taYou spokeלְעַבְדְּךָle/av/de/KHAto Your servantדָּוִדDa/VIDDavidאָבִי׃a/VImy father

    And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

27. 27

    כִּיkiforהַאֻמְנָםha/um/NAMindeedיֵשֵׁבye/SHEVwill dwellאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוּשְׁמֵיu/she/MEand the heavens ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensלֹאlocannotיְכַלְכְּלוּךָye/khal/ke/LU/khacontain Youאַףafhow much lessכִּי־הַבַּיִתki-hab/BA/yitthe houseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבָּנִיתִי׃ba/NI/tiI have built

    But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

    וּפָנִיתָu/fa/NI/tayet turnאֶל־תְּפִלַּתel-te/fil/LATto the prayer ofעַבְדְּךָav/de/KHAYour servantוְאֶל־תְּחִנָּתוֹve/EL-te/chin/na/TOand his supplicationיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאֱלֹהָיe/lo/HAYmy Godלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ato hearאֶל־הָרִנָּהel-ha/rin/NAto the cryוְאֶל־הַתְּפִלָּהve/EL-hat/te/fil/LAand the prayerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעַבְדְּךָav/de/KHAYour servantמִתְפַּלֵּלmit/pal/LELis prayingלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore Youהַיּוֹם׃hay/YOMtoday

    Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

    That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

    וְשָׁמַעְתָּve/sha/ma/TAand hearאֶל־תְּחִנַּתel-te/chin/NATthe supplication ofעַבְדְּךָav/de/KHAYour servantוְעַמְּךָve/am/me/KHAand Your peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenיִתְפַּלְלוּyit/pal/LUthey prayאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMtoward the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand Youתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAhearאֶל־מְקוֹםel-me/KOMin the place ofשִׁבְתְּךָshiv/te/KHAYour dwellingאֶל־הַשָּׁמַיִםel-hash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensוְשָׁמַעְתָּve/sha/ma/TAand hearוְסָלָחְתָּ׃ve/sa/LACH/taand forgive

    And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

31. 31

    אֵת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhenיֶחֱטָאye/che/TAsinsאִישׁisha manלְרֵעֵהוּle/re/E/huto his neighborוְנָשָׁא־בוֹve/na/SHA-voand lays upon himאָלָהa/LAan oathלְהַאֲלֹתוֹle/ha/a/lo/TOto make him swearוּבָאu/VAand comesאָלָהa/LAan oathלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeמִזְבַּחֲךָmiz/ba/cha/KHAYour altarבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house:

32. 32

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAthen Youתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAhearהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand actוְשָׁפַטְתָּve/sha/fat/TAand judgeאֶת־עֲבָדֶיךָet-a/va/DE/khaYour servantsלְהַרְשִׁיעַle/har/SHI/acondemningרָשָׁעra/SHAthe wickedלָתֵתla/TETto giveדַּרְכּוֹdar/KOhis wayבְּרֹאשׁוֹbe/ro/SHOupon his headוּלְהַצְדִּיקu/le/hats/DIKand justifyingצַדִּיקtsad/DIKthe righteousלָתֶתLA/tetto giveלוֹloto himכְּצִדְקָתוֹ׃ke/tsid/ka/TOaccording to his righteousness

    Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

33. 33

    בְּהִנָּגֵףbe/hin/na/GEFwhen is struck downעַמְּךָam/me/KHAYour peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאוֹיֵבo/YEVan enemyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERbecauseיֶחֶטְאוּ־לָךְye/chet/U-lakhthey sin against Youוְשָׁבוּve/SHA/vuand they turn backאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato Youוְהוֹדוּve/ho/DUand confessאֶת־שְׁמֶךָet-she/ME/khaYour nameוְהִתְפַּלְלוּve/hit/pal/LUand prayוְהִתְחַנְּנוּve/hit/chan/ne/NUand make supplicationאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato Youבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:

34. 34

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAthen Youתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAhearהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensוְסָלַחְתָּve/sa/lach/TAand forgiveלְחַטַּאתle/chat/TATthe sin ofעַמְּךָam/me/KHAYour peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַהֲשֵׁבֹתָםva/ha/she/vo/TAMand bring them backאֶל־הָאֲדָמָהel-ha/a/da/MAto the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתָּna/TAT/taYou gaveלַאֲבוֹתָם׃la/a/vo/TAMto their fathers

    Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.

35. 35

    בְּהֵעָצֵרbe/he/a/TSERwhen are shutשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensוְלֹא־יִהְיֶהve/LO-yih/YEand there is noמָטָרma/TARrainכִּיkibecauseיֶחֶטְאוּ־לָךְye/chet/U-lakhthey sin against Youוְהִתְפַּלְלוּve/hit/pal/LUand they prayאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMtoward the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְהוֹדוּve/ho/DUand confessאֶת־שְׁמֶךָet-she/ME/khaYour nameוּמֵחַטָּאתָםu/me/chat/ta/TAMand from their sinיְשׁוּבוּןye/shu/VUNthey turnכִּיkiwhenתַעֲנֵם׃ta/a/NEMYou afflict them

    When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:

36. 36

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAthen Youתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAhearהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensוְסָלַחְתָּve/sa/lach/TAand forgiveלְחַטַּאתle/chat/TATthe sin ofעֲבָדֶיךָa/va/DE/khaYour servantsוְעַמְּךָve/am/me/KHAand Your peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכִּיkithatתוֹרֵםto/REMYou teach themאֶת־הַדֶּרֶךְet-had/DE/rekhthe wayהַטּוֹבָהhat/to/VAgoodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichיֵלְכוּ־בָהּyel/KHU-vathey should walkוְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand giveמָטָרma/TARrainעַל־אַרְצְךָal-ar/tse/KHAupon Your landאֲשֶׁר־נָתַתָּהa/SHER-na/TAT/tathat You gaveלְעַמְּךָle/am/me/KHAto Your peopleלְנַחֲלָה׃le/na/cha/LAas an inheritance

    Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.

37. 37

    רָעָבra/AVfamineכִּי־יִהְיֶהki-yih/YEif there isבָאָרֶץva/A/retsin the landדֶּבֶרDE/vera pestilenceכִּי־יִהְיֶהki-yih/YEif there isשִׁדָּפוֹןshid/da/FONblightיֵרָקוֹןye/ra/KONmildewאַרְבֶּהar/BElocustחָסִילcha/SILcaterpillarכִּיkiifיִהְיֶהyih/YEthere isכִּיkiifיָצַר־לוֹya/TSAR-lobesieges himאֹיְבוֹoy/VOhis enemyבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofשְׁעָרָיוshe/a/RAYVhis gatesכׇּל־נֶגַעkol-NE/gaany plagueכׇּל־מַחֲלָה׃kol-ma/cha/LAany sickness

    If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

38. 38

    כׇּל־תְּפִלָּהkol-te/fil/LAany prayerכׇל־תְּחִנָּהkhol-te/chin/NAany supplicationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּהְיֶהtih/YEis madeלְכׇל־הָאָדָםle/KHOL-ha/a/DAMby any manלְכֹלle/KHOLby allעַמְּךָam/me/KHAYour peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיֵדְעוּןyed/UNshall knowאִישׁishevery manנֶגַעNE/gathe plague ofלְבָבוֹle/va/VOhis heartוּפָרַשׂu/fa/RASand spreads outכַּפָּיוkap/PAYVhis palmsאֶל־הַבַּיִתel-hab/BA/yittoward the houseהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

39. 39

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAthen Youתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAhearהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensמְכוֹןme/KHONthe place ofשִׁבְתֶּךָshiv/TE/khaYour dwellingוְסָלַחְתָּve/sa/lach/TAand forgiveוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand actוְנָתַתָּve/na/tat/TAand giveלָאִישׁla/ISHto each manכְּכׇל־דְּרָכָיוke/KHOL-de/ra/KHAYVaccording to all his waysאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseתֵּדַעte/DAYou knowאֶת־לְבָבוֹet-le/va/VOhis heartכִּי־אַתָּהki-at/TAfor Youיָדַעְתָּya/DA/taknowלְבַדְּךָle/vad/de/KHAaloneאֶת־לְבַבet-le/VAVthe heart ofכׇּל־בְּנֵיkol-be/NEall the children ofהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMman

    Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

40. 40

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anin order thatיִרָאוּךָyi/ra/U/khathey may fear Youכׇּל־הַיָּמִיםkol-hay/ya/MIMall the daysאֲשֶׁר־הֵםa/SHER-hemthat they areחַיִּיםchay/YIMaliveעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEupon the face ofהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe earthאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתָּהna/TAT/taYou gaveלַאֲבֹתֵינוּ׃la/a/vo/TE/nuto our fathers

    That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

41. 41

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֶל־הַנׇּכְרִיel-han/nokh/RIconcerning the foreignerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹא־מֵעַמְּךָlo-me/am/me/KHAis not of Your peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהוּאhuheוּבָאu/VAand comesמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofרְחוֹקָהre/cho/KAfarלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofשְׁמֶךָ׃she/ME/khaYour name

    Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name's sake;

42. 42

    כִּיkiforיִשְׁמְעוּןyish/me/UNthey will hear ofאֶת־שִׁמְךָet-shim/KHAYour nameהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatוְאֶת־יָדְךָve/ET-ya/de/KHAand Your handהַחֲזָקָהha/cha/za/KAmightyוּזְרֹעֲךָu/ze/ro/a/KHAand Your armהַנְּטוּיָהhan/ne/tu/YAoutstretchedוּבָאu/VAand he comesוְהִתְפַּלֵּלve/hit/pal/LELand praysאֶל־הַבַּיִתel-hab/BA/yittoward the houseהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    (For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

43. 43

    אַתָּהat/TAYouתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAhearהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensמְכוֹןme/KHONthe place ofשִׁבְתֶּךָshiv/TE/khaYour dwellingוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand doכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָאa/SHER-yik/RAfor which callsאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato Youהַנׇּכְרִיhan/nokh/RIthe foreignerלְמַעַןle/MA/anin order thatיֵדְעוּןyed/UNmay knowכׇּל־עַמֵּיkol-am/MEall the peoples ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthאֶת־שְׁמֶךָet-she/ME/khaYour nameלְיִרְאָהle/yir/Ato fearאֹתְךָot/KHAYouכְּעַמְּךָke/am/me/KHAlike Your peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְלָדַעַתve/la/DA/atand to knowכִּי־שִׁמְךָki-shim/KHAthat Your nameנִקְרָאnik/RAis calledעַל־הַבַּיִתal-hab/BA/yitupon the houseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבָּנִיתִי׃ba/NI/tiI have built

    Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

44. 44

    כִּי־יֵצֵאki-ye/TSEwhen go outעַמְּךָam/me/KHAYour peopleלַמִּלְחָמָהlam/mil/cha/MAto battleעַל־אֹיְבוֹal-oy/VOagainst their enemyבַּדֶּרֶךְbad/DE/rekhby the wayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּשְׁלָחֵםtish/la/CHEMYou send themוְהִתְפַּלְלוּve/hit/pal/LUand they prayאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהָעִירha/IRthe cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבָּחַרְתָּba/CHAR/taYou have chosenבָּהּbain itוְהַבַּיִתve/hab/BA/yitand the houseאֲשֶׁר־בָּנִתִיa/SHER-ba/NI/tithat I have builtלִשְׁמֶךָ׃lish/ME/khafor Your name

    If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built for thy name:

45. 45

    וְשָׁמַעְתָּve/sha/ma/TAthen hearהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensאֶת־תְּפִלָּתָםet-te/fil/la/TAMtheir prayerוְאֶת־תְּחִנָּתָםve/ET-te/chin/na/TAMand their supplicationוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand doמִשְׁפָּטָם׃mish/pa/TAMtheir cause

    Then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.

46. 46

    כִּיkiwhenיֶחֶטְאוּ־לָךְye/chet/U-lakhthey sin against Youכִּיkiforאֵיןenthere is noאָדָםa/DAMmanאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹא־יֶחֱטָאlo-ye/che/TAdoes not sinוְאָנַפְתָּve/a/naf/TAand You are angryבָםvamwith themוּנְתַתָּםu/ne/tat/TAMand give themלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאוֹיֵבo/YEVan enemyוְשָׁבוּםve/sha/VUMand carry them captiveשֹׁבֵיהֶםsho/ve/HEMtheir captorsאֶל־אֶרֶץel-E/retsto the land ofהָאוֹיֵבha/o/YEVthe enemyרְחוֹקָהre/cho/KAfarאוֹoorקְרוֹבָה׃ke/ro/VAnear

    If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

47. 47

    וְהֵשִׁיבוּve/he/SHI/vuand they bring backאֶל־לִבָּםel-lib/BAMto their heartבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereנִשְׁבּוּ־שָׁםnish/BU-shamthey were carried captiveוְשָׁבוּve/SHA/vuand turn backוְהִתְחַנְּנוּve/hit/chan/ne/NUand make supplicationאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato Youבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofשֹׁבֵיהֶםsho/ve/HEMtheir captorsלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingחָטָאנוּcha/TA/nuwe have sinnedוְהֶעֱוִינוּve/he/e/VI/nuand we have done wrongרָשָׁעְנוּ׃ra/SHA/nuwe have acted wickedly

    Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

48. 48

    וְשָׁבוּve/SHA/vuand turn backאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato Youבְּכׇל־לְבָבָםbe/KHOL-le/va/VAMwith all their heartוּבְכׇל־נַפְשָׁםu/ve/KHOL-naf/SHAMand with all their soulבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofאֹיְבֵיהֶםoy/ve/HEMtheir enemiesאֲשֶׁר־שָׁבוּa/SHER-sha/VUwho carried captiveאֹתָםo/TAMthemוְהִתְפַּלְלוּve/hit/pal/LUand prayאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato YouדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardאַרְצָםar/TSAMtheir landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתָּהna/TAT/taYou gaveלַאֲבוֹתָםla/a/vo/TAMto their fathersהָעִירha/IRthe cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבָּחַרְתָּba/CHAR/taYou have chosenוְהַבַּיִתve/hab/BA/yitand the houseאֲשֶׁר־[בָּנִיתִי]a/SHER-ba/NI/tithat I have built(בנית)vanayatלִשְׁמֶךָ׃lish/ME/khafor Your name

    And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:

49. 49

    וְשָׁמַעְתָּve/sha/ma/TAthen hearהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensמְכוֹןme/KHONthe place ofשִׁבְתְּךָshiv/te/KHAYour dwellingאֶת־תְּפִלָּתָםet-te/fil/la/TAMtheir prayerוְאֶת־תְּחִנָּתָםve/ET-te/chin/na/TAMand their supplicationוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand doמִשְׁפָּטָם׃mish/pa/TAMtheir cause

    Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,

50. 50

    וְסָלַחְתָּve/sa/lach/TAand forgiveלְעַמְּךָle/am/me/KHAYour peopleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoחָטְאוּ־לָךְcha/te/U-lakhhave sinned against Youוּלְכׇל־פִּשְׁעֵיהֶםu/le/KHOL-pish/e/HEMand to all their transgressionsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatפָּשְׁעוּ־בָךְPASH/u-vakhthey have transgressed against Youוּנְתַתָּםu/ne/tat/TAMand give themלְרַחֲמִיםle/ra/cha/MIMcompassionלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeשֹׁבֵיהֶםsho/ve/HEMtheir captorsוְרִחֲמוּם׃ve/ri/cha/MUMand they will have compassion on them

    And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

51. 51

    כִּי־עַמְּךָki-am/me/KHAfor Your peopleוְנַחֲלָתְךָve/na/cha/la/te/KHAand Your inheritanceהֵםhemare theyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomהוֹצֵאתָho/TSE/taYou brought outמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom the midst ofכּוּרkurthe furnace ofהַבַּרְזֶל׃hab/bar/ZELiron

    For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

52. 52

    לִהְיוֹתlih/YOTthat may beעֵינֶיךָe/NE/khaYour eyesפְתֻחֹתfe/tu/CHOTopenאֶל־תְּחִנַּתel-te/chin/NATto the supplication ofעַבְדְּךָav/de/KHAYour servantוְאֶל־תְּחִנַּתve/EL-te/chin/NATand the supplication ofעַמְּךָam/me/KHAYour peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ato hearאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themבְּכֹלbe/KHOLin allקׇרְאָםkor/AMtheir callingאֵלֶיךָ׃e/LE/khato You

    That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.

    כִּי־אַתָּהki-at/TAfor Youהִבְדַּלְתָּםhiv/dal/TAMhave separated themלְךָle/KHAfor Yourselfלְנַחֲלָהle/na/cha/LAas an inheritanceמִכֹּלmik/KOLfrom allעַמֵּיam/MEthe peoples ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבַּרְתָּdib/BAR/taYou spokeבְּיַדbe/YADby the hand ofמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesעַבְדֶּךָav/DE/khaYour servantבְּהוֹצִיאֲךָbe/ho/tsi/a/KHAwhen You brought outאֶת־אֲבֹתֵינוּet-a/vo/TE/nuour fathersמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכְּכַלּוֹתke/khal/LOTwhen had finishedשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonלְהִתְפַּלֵּלle/hit/pal/LELprayingאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDאֵת־כׇּל־הַתְּפִלָּהet-kol-hat/te/fil/LAall the prayerוְהַתְּחִנָּהve/hat/te/chin/NAand the supplicationהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisקָםkamhe aroseמִלִּפְנֵיmil/lif/NEfrom beforeמִזְבַּחmiz/BACHthe altar ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמִכְּרֹעַmik/ke/RO/afrom kneelingעַל־בִּרְכָּיוal-bir/KAYVupon his kneesוְכַפָּיוve/khap/PAYVwith his palmsפְּרֻשׂוֹתpe/ru/SOTspread outהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/MA/yimtoward the heavens

    And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

55. 55

    וַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodוַיְבָרֶךְvay/VA/rekhand blessedאֵת־כׇּל־קְהַלet-kol-ke/HALall the assembly ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelקוֹלkolwith a voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLloudלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And he stood, and blessed all the congregation of Israel with a loud voice, saying,

    בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoנָתַןna/TANhas givenמְנוּחָהme/nu/CHArestלְעַמּוֹle/am/MOto His peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatדִּבֵּרdib/BERHe spokeלֹא־נָפַלlo-na/FALthere has not fallenדָּבָרda/VARa wordאֶחָדe/CHADoneמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allדְּבָרוֹde/va/ROHis wordהַטּוֹבhat/TOVgoodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatדִּבֶּרdib/BERHe spokeבְּיַדbe/YADby the hand ofמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesעַבְדּוֹ׃av/DOHis servant

    Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

57. 57

    יְהִיye/HImay beיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godעִמָּנוּim/MA/nuwith usכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהָיָהha/YAwasעִם־אֲבֹתֵינוּim-a/vo/TE/nuwith our fathersאַל־יַעַזְבֵנוּal-ya/az/VE/numay He not leave usוְאַל־יִטְּשֵׁנוּ׃ve/AL-yit/te/SHE/nunor forsake us

    The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:

58. 58

    לְהַטּוֹתle/hat/TOTto inclineלְבָבֵנוּle/va/VE/nuour heartsאֵלָיוe/LAYVto Himלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבְּכׇל־דְּרָכָיוbe/KHOL-de/ra/KHAYVin all His waysוְלִשְׁמֹרve/lish/MORand to keepמִצְוֺתָיוmits/vo/TAYVHis commandmentsוְחֻקָּיוve/chuk/KAYVand His statutesוּמִשְׁפָּטָיוu/mish/pa/TAYVand His judgmentsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatצִוָּהtsiv/VAHe commandedאֶת־אֲבֹתֵינוּ׃et-a/vo/TE/nuour fathers

    That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.

59. 59

    וְיִהְיוּve/yih/YUand may beדְבָרַיde/va/RAYmy wordsאֵלֶּהEL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichהִתְחַנַּנְתִּיhit/chan/NAN/tiI have made supplicationלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDקְרֹבִיםke/ro/VIMnearאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godיוֹמָםyo/MAMby dayוָלָיְלָהva/LAY/laand by nightלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doמִשְׁפַּטmish/PATthe cause ofעַבְדּוֹav/DOHis servantוּמִשְׁפַּטu/mish/PATand the cause ofעַמּוֹam/MOHis peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelדְּבַר־יוֹםde/VAR-yomthe matter of a dayבְּיוֹמוֹ׃be/yo/MOon its day

    And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:

60. 60

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anin order thatדַּעַתDA/atmay knowכׇּל־עַמֵּיkol-am/MEall the peoples ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthכִּיkithatיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהוּאhuHe isהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodאֵיןenthere is noעוֹד׃odother

    That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

61. 61

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand let beלְבַבְכֶםle/vav/KHEMyour heartשָׁלֵםsha/LEMwholeעִםimwithיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבְּחֻקָּיוbe/chuk/KAYVin His statutesוְלִשְׁמֹרve/lish/MORand to keepמִצְוֺתָיוmits/vo/TAYVHis commandmentsכַּיּוֹםkay/YOMas the dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

62. 62

    וְהַמֶּלֶךְve/ham/ME/lekhand the kingוְכׇל־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/KHOL-yis/ra/ELand all Israelעִמּוֹim/MOwith himזֹבְחִיםzov/CHIMwere sacrificingזֶבַחZE/vacha sacrificeלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD.

63. 63

    וַיִּזְבַּחvay/yiz/BACHand sacrificedשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonאֵת־זֶבַחet-ZE/vachthe sacrifice ofהַשְּׁלָמִיםhash/she/la/MIMpeace offeringsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatזָבַחZA/vachhe sacrificedלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבָּקָרba/KARoxenעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyוּשְׁנַיִםu/she/NA/yimand twoאֶלֶףE/lefthousandוְצֹאןve/TSONand sheepמֵאָהme/Aa hundredוְעֶשְׂרִיםve/es/RIMand twentyאָלֶףA/lefthousandוַיַּחְנְכוּvay/yach/ne/KHUand dedicatedאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingוְכׇל־בְּנֵיve/KHOL-be/NEand all the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.

    בַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatקִדַּשׁkid/DASHconsecratedהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶת־תּוֹךְet-tokhthe middle ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeבֵית־יְהֹוָהvet-Adonaithe house of the LORDכִּי־עָשָׂהki-a/SAfor he offeredשָׁםshamthereאֶת־הָעֹלָהet-ha/o/LAthe burnt offeringוְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָהve/ET-ham/min/CHAand the grain offeringוְאֵתve/ETandחֶלְבֵיchel/VEthe fat ofהַשְּׁלָמִיםhash/she/la/MIMpeace offeringsכִּי־מִזְבַּחki-miz/BACHfor the altar ofהַנְּחֹשֶׁתhan/ne/CHO/shetbronzeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDקָטֹןka/TONtoo littleמֵהָכִילme/ha/KHILto holdאֶת־הָעֹלָהet-ha/o/LAthe burnt offeringוְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָהve/ET-ham/min/CHAand the grain offeringוְאֵתve/ETandחֶלְבֵיchel/VEthe fat ofהַשְּׁלָמִים׃hash/she/la/MIMpeace offerings

    The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

65. 65

    וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand madeשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonבָעֵת־הַהִיאva/ET-ha/HIat that timeאֶת־הֶחָגet-he/CHAGthe feastוְכׇל־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/KHOL-yis/ra/ELand all Israelעִמּוֹim/MOwith himקָהָלka/HALa congregationגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatמִלְּבוֹאmil/le/VOfrom the entering in ofחֲמָתCha/MATHamathעַד־נַחַלad-NA/chalto the brook ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godשִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִיםya/MIMdaysוְשִׁבְעַתve/shiv/ATand sevenיָמִיםya/MIMdaysאַרְבָּעָה־עָשָׂרar/ba/A-a/SARfourteenיוֹם׃yomdays

    And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.

66. 66

    בַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיhash/she/mi/NIthe eighthשִׁלַּחshil/LACHhe sent awayאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleוַיְבָרְכוּvay/va/re/KHUand they blessedאֶת־הַמֶּלֶךְet-ham/ME/lekhthe kingוַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUand wentלְאׇהֳלֵיהֶםle/o/ho/le/HEMto their tentsשְׂמֵחִיםse/me/CHIMjoyfulוְטוֹבֵיve/TO/veand good ofלֵבlevheartעַלalforכׇּל־הַטּוֹבָהkol-hat/to/VAall the goodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשָׂהa/SAhad doneיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְדָוִדle/Da/VIDfor Davidעַבְדּוֹav/DOHis servantוּלְיִשְׂרָאֵלu/Le/yis/ra/ELand for Israelעַמּוֹ׃am/MOHis people

    On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
