   וַיְהִיand wasהַמֶּלֶךְthe kingשְׁלֹמֹהSolomonמֶלֶךְthe king ofעַל־כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃upon all Israel

   So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

2. 2

   וְאֵלֶּהand theseהַשָּׂרִיםthe princesאֲשֶׁר־לוֹwhich he hasעֲזַרְיָהוּAzariahבֶן־צָדוֹקson of Zadokהַכֹּהֵן׃the priest

   And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

   אֱלִיחֹרֶףElihorephוַאֲחִיָּהand Ahijahבְּנֵיthe sons ofשִׁישָׁאShishaסֹפְרִיםwere scribesיְהוֹשָׁפָטJehoshaphatבֶּן־אֲחִילוּדson of Ahiludהַמַּזְכִּיר׃was the recorder

   Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

   וּבְנָיָהוּand Benaiahבֶן־יְהוֹיָדָעson of Jehoiadaעַל־הַצָּבָאupon the armyוְצָדוֹקand Zadokוְאֶבְיָתָרand Abiatharכֹּהֲנִים׃priests

   And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

   וַעֲזַרְיָהוּand Azariahבֶן־נָתָןson of Nathanעַל־הַנִּצָּבִיםupon the those appointedוְזָבוּדand Zabudבֶּן־נָתָןson of Nathanכֹּהֵןa priestרֵעֶהthe friend ofהַמֶּלֶךְ׃the king

   And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:

   וַאֲחִישָׁרand Ahisharעַל־הַבָּיִתupon the houseוַאֲדֹנִירָםand Adoniramבֶּן־עַבְדָּאson of Abdaעַל־הַמַּס׃upon the tribute

   And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

7. 7

   וְלִשְׁלֹמֹהand Solomonשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂרtwelveנִצָּבִיםofficersעַל־כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵלupon all Israelוְכִלְכְּלוּand they suppliedאֶת־הַמֶּלֶךְthe kingוְאֶת־בֵּיתוֹand his householdחֹדֶשׁa month ofבַּשָּׁנָהin the yearיִהְיֶהshall beעַל־[הָאֶחָד]upon the one(אחד)לְכַלְכֵּל׃to support

   And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

   וְאֵלֶּהand theseשְׁמוֹתָםtheir namesבֶּן־חוּרson of Hurבְּהַרon the mount ofאֶפְרָיִם׃Ephraim

   And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

   בֶּן־דֶּקֶרson of Dekerבְּמָקַץin Makazוּבְשַׁעַלְבִיםand in Shaalbimוּבֵיתand Beth-שָׁמֶשׁshemeshוְאֵילוֹןand Elonבֵּיתthe house ofחָנָן׃Hanan

   The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan:

10. 10

    בֶּן־חֶסֶדson of mercyבָּאֲרֻבּוֹתin Arubbothלוֹto himשֹׂכֹהShochoוְכׇל־אֶרֶץand all land ofחֵפֶר׃Hepher

    The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

11. 11

    בֶּן־אֲבִינָדָבson of Abinadabכׇּל־נָפַתall the district ofדֹּארDorטָפַתTaphathבַּת־שְׁלֹמֹהdaughter of Solomonהָיְתָהwasלּוֹto himלְאִשָּׁה׃for wife

    The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

12. 12

    בַּעֲנָאBaanahבֶּן־אֲחִילוּדson of AhiludתַּעְנַךְTaanachוּמְגִדּוֹand Megiddoוְכׇל־בֵּיתand all Beth-שְׁאָןsheanאֲשֶׁרwhichאֵצֶלnearצָרְתַנָהZartanahמִתַּחַתfrom beneathלְיִזְרְעֶאלto Jezreelמִבֵּיתfrom Beth-שְׁאָןsheanעַדuntilאָבֵלAbel-מְחוֹלָהmeholahעַדuntilמֵעֵבֶרacrossלְיׇקְמְעָם׃of Jokmeam

    Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth-shean to Abel-meholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:

    בֶּן־גֶּבֶרthe son of Geberבְּרָמֹתin Ramoth-גִּלְעָדgileadלוֹto himחַוֺּתHavvoth-יָאִירjairבֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁהson of Manassehאֲשֶׁרwhichבַּגִּלְעָדin Gileadלוֹto himחֶבֶלthe region ofאַרְגֹּבArgobאֲשֶׁרwhichבַּבָּשָׁןin Bashanשִׁשִּׁיםsixtyעָרִיםcitiesגְּדֹלוֹתgreatחוֹמָהa wallוּבְרִיחַand barsנְחֹשֶׁת׃brass

    The son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:

    אֲחִינָדָבAhinadabבֶּן־עִדֹּאson of Iddoמַחֲנָיְמָה׃to Mahanaim

    Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

    אֲחִימַעַץAhimaazבְּנַפְתָּלִיin Naphtaliגַּם־הוּאalso heלָקַחtookאֶת־בָּשְׂמַתBashemathבַּת־שְׁלֹמֹהdaughter of Solomonלְאִשָּׁה׃for wife

    Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

    בַּעֲנָאBaanahבֶּן־חוּשָׁיson of Hushaiבְּאָשֵׁרin Asherוּבְעָלוֹת׃and in Aloth

    Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

17. 17

    יְהוֹשָׁפָטJehoshaphatבֶּן־פָּרוּחַson of Paruahבְּיִשָּׂשכָר׃in Issachar

    Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

18. 18

    שִׁמְעִיShimeiבֶן־אֵלָאson of Elaבְּבִנְיָמִן׃among Benjamin

    Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

19. 19

    גֶּבֶרGeberבֶּן־אֻרִיson of Uriבְּאֶרֶץin the land ofגִּלְעָדGileadאֶרֶץthe land ofסִיחוֹןSihonמֶלֶךְthe king ofהָאֱמֹרִיthe Amoriteוְעֹגand Ogמֶלֶךְthe king ofהַבָּשָׁןBashanוּנְצִיבand one officerאֶחָדoneאֲשֶׁרwhichבָּאָרֶץ׃in the land

    Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

    יְהוּדָהJudahוְיִשְׂרָאֵלand Israelרַבִּיםmanyכַּחוֹלlike the sandאֲשֶׁר־עַל־הַיָּםwhich upon the seaלָרֹבin abundanceאֹכְלִיםfeeding uponוְשֹׁתִיםand drinkingוּשְׂמֵחִים׃and joyful

    Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
