   וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingשְׁלֹמֹהShe/lo/MOSolomonמֶלֶךְME/lekhkingעַל־כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃al-Kol-yis/ra/ELover all Israel

   So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

2. 2

   וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseהַשָּׂרִיםhas/sa/RIMthe princesאֲשֶׁר־לוֹa/SHER-lothat he hadעֲזַרְיָהוּA/zar/YA/huAzariahבֶן־צָדוֹקven-Tsa/DOKthe son of Zadokהַכֹּהֵן׃hak/ko/HENthe priest

   And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

   Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

   וּבְנָיָהוּu/ve/Na/YA/huand Benaiahבֶן־יְהוֹיָדָעven-Ye/ho/ya/DAthe son of Jehoiadaעַל־הַצָּבָאal-hats/tsa/VAover the armyוְצָדוֹקve/Tsa/DOKand Zadokוְאֶבְיָתָרve/Ev/ya/TARand Abiatharכֹּהֲנִים׃ko/ha/NIMwere priests

   And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

   וַעֲזַרְיָהוּva/A/zar/YA/huand Azariahבֶן־נָתָןven-Na/TANthe son of Nathanעַל־הַנִּצָּבִיםal-han/nits/tsa/VIMover the officersוְזָבוּדve/Za/VUDand Zabudבֶּן־נָתָןben-Na/TANthe son of Nathanכֹּהֵןko/HENa priestרֵעֶהre/Ethe friend ofהַמֶּלֶךְ׃ham/ME/lekhthe king

   And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:

   וַאֲחִישָׁרva/A/chi/SHARand Ahisharעַל־הַבָּיִתal-hab/BA/yitover the householdוַאֲדֹנִירָםva/A/do/ni/RAMand Adoniramבֶּן־עַבְדָּאben-Av/DAthe son of Abdaעַל־הַמַּס׃al-ham/MASover the forced labor

   And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

   וְלִשְׁלֹמֹהve/Lish/lo/MOand Solomon hadשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂרshe/NEM-a/SARtwelveנִצָּבִיםnits/tsa/VIMofficersעַל־כׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵלal-Kol-yis/ra/ELover all Israelוְכִלְכְּלוּve/khil/ke/LUand they provided forאֶת־הַמֶּלֶךְet-ham/ME/lekhthe kingוְאֶת־בֵּיתוֹve/ET-be/TOand his householdחֹדֶשׁCHO/desha monthבַּשָּׁנָהbash/sha/NAin the yearיִהְיֶהyih/YEit would beעַל־[הָאֶחָד]al-ha/e/CHADupon each one(אחד)chadלְכַלְכֵּל׃le/khal/KELto provide

   And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

   וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseשְׁמוֹתָםshe/mo/TAMtheir namesבֶּן־חוּרben-Churthe son of Hurבְּהַרbe/HARin the hill country ofאֶפְרָיִם׃Ef/RA/yimEphraim

   And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

   בֶּן־דֶּקֶרben-DE/kerthe son of Dekerבְּמָקַץbe/Ma/KATSin Makazוּבְשַׁעַלְבִיםu/ve/Sha/al/VIMand in Shaalbimוּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-שָׁמֶשׁSHA/meshshemeshוְאֵילוֹןve/E/LONand Elon-בֵּיתbetbeth-חָנָן׃cha/NANhanan

   The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-hanan:

    בֶּן־חֶסֶדben-CHE/sedthe son of Hesedבָּאֲרֻבּוֹתba/A/rub/BOTin Arubbothלוֹloto himשֹׂכֹהSo/KHOSocohוְכׇל־אֶרֶץve/KHOL-E/retsand all the land ofחֵפֶר׃CHE/ferHepher

    The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

    בֶּן־אֲבִינָדָבben-A/vi/na/DAVthe son of Abinadabכׇּל־נָפַתkol-NA/fatall the district ofדֹּארDorDorטָפַתTa/FATTaphathבַּת־שְׁלֹמֹהbat-She/lo/MOthe daughter of Solomonהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasלּוֹloto himלְאִשָּׁה׃le/ish/SHAas a wife

    The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

    The son of Geber, in Ramoth-gilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:

    Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

    אֲחִימַעַץA/chi/MA/atsAhimaazבְּנַפְתָּלִיbe/Naf/ta/LIin Naphtaliגַּם־הוּאgam-huhe alsoלָקַחla/KACHtookאֶת־בָּשְׂמַתet-Ba/se/MATBasemathבַּת־שְׁלֹמֹהbat-She/lo/MOthe daughter of Solomonלְאִשָּׁה׃le/ish/SHAas a wife

    Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

    בַּעֲנָאBa/a/NABaanahבֶּן־חוּשָׁיben-Chu/SHAYthe son of Hushaiבְּאָשֵׁרbe/A/SHERin Asherוּבְעָלוֹת׃u/ve/A/LOTand in Aloth

    Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

    יְהוֹשָׁפָטYe/ho/sha/FATJehoshaphatבֶּן־פָּרוּחַben-Pa/RU/achthe son of Paruahבְּיִשָּׂשכָר׃be/Yis/sash/KHARin Issachar

    Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

    שִׁמְעִיShim/IShimeiבֶן־אֵלָאven-E/LAthe son of Elaבְּבִנְיָמִן׃be/Vin/ya/MINin Benjamin

    Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

    Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

    Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.
