   Now the sons of Issachar were, Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.

   And the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah: and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five: all of them chief men.

   And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, six and thirty thousand men: for they had many wives and sons.

   And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies fourscore and seven thousand.

   And the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valour, was twenty thousand and two hundred.

    The sons also of Jediael; Bilhan: and the sons of Bilhan; Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.

    All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.

    וְשֻׁפִּםve/Shup/PIMand Shuppimוְחֻפִּםve/Chup/PIMand Huppimבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofעִירIrIrחֻשִׁםChu/SHIMHushimבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofאַחֵר׃A/CHERAher

    Shuppim also, and Huppim, the children of Ir, and Hushim, the sons of Aher.

    בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofנַפְתָּלִיNaf/ta/LINaphtaliיַחֲצִיאֵלYa/cha/tsi/ELJahzielוְגוּנִיve/Gu/NIand Guniוְיֵצֶרve/YE/tserand Jezerוְשַׁלּוּםve/Shal/LUMand Shallumבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofבִלְהָה׃Vil/HABilhah

    The sons of Naphtali; Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.

    בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehאַשְׂרִיאֵלAs/ri/ELAsrielאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomיָלָדָהya/LA/dashe boreפִּילַגְשׁוֹpi/lag/SHOhis concubineהָאֲרַמִּיָּהha/A/ram/miy/YAthe Arameanיָלְדָהya/le/DAboreאֶת־מָכִירet-Ma/KHIRMachirאֲבִיa/VIthe father ofגִלְעָד׃Gil/ADGilead

    The sons of Manasseh; Ashriel, whom she bare: (but his concubine the Aramitess bare Machir the father of Gilead:

    וּמָכִירu/Ma/KHIRand Machirלָקַחla/KACHtookאִשָּׁהish/SHAa wifeלְחֻפִּיםle/Chup/PIMfor Huppimוּלְשֻׁפִּיםu/Le/shup/PIMand for Shuppimוְשֵׁםve/SHEMand the name ofאֲחֹתוֹa/cho/TOhis sisterמַעֲכָהMa/a/KHAMaachahוְשֵׁםve/SHEMand the name ofהַשֵּׁנִיhash/she/NIthe secondצְלׇפְחָדTse/lof/CHADZelophehadוַתִּהְיֶנָהvat/tih/YE/naand there wereלִצְלׇפְחָדLits/lof/CHADto Zelophehadבָּנוֹת׃ba/NOTdaughters

    And Machir took to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maachah;) and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.

    וַתֵּלֶדvat/TE/ledand boreמַעֲכָהMa/a/KHAMaachahאֵשֶׁת־מָכִירE/shet-Ma/KHIRthe wife of Machirבֵּןbena sonוַתִּקְרָאvat/tik/RAand she calledשְׁמוֹshe/MOhis nameפֶּרֶשׁPE/reshPereshוְשֵׁםve/SHEMand the name ofאָחִיוa/CHIVhis brotherשָׁרֶשׁSHA/reshShereshוּבָנָיוu/va/NAYVand his sonsאוּלָםU/LAMUlamוָרָקֶם׃va/RA/kemand Rekem

    And Maachah the wife of Machir bare a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofאוּלָםU/LAMUlamבְּדָןBe/DANBedanאֵלֶּהEL/letheseבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofגִלְעָדGil/ADGileadבֶּן־מָכִירben-Ma/KHIRthe son of Machirבֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁה׃ben-Me/nash/SHEthe son of Manasseh

    And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.

    וַאֲחֹתוֹva/a/cho/TOand his sisterהַמֹּלֶכֶתHam/mo/LE/khetHammolekethיָלְדָהya/le/DAboreאֶת־אִישְׁהוֹדet-I/she/HODIshhodוְאֶת־אֲבִיעֶזֶרve/ET-a/vi/E/zerand Abiezerוְאֶת־מַחְלָה׃ve/ET-mach/LAand Mahlah

    And his sister Hammoleketh bare Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.

    וַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand wereבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofשְׁמִידָעShe/mi/DAShemidaאַחְיָןAch/YANAhianוָשֶׁכֶםva/SHE/khemand Shechemוְלִקְחִיve/Lik/CHIand Likhiוַאֲנִיעָם׃va/A/ni/AMand Aniam

    And the sons of Shemida were, Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

20. 20

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimשׁוּתָלַחShu/TA/lachShuthelahוּבֶרֶדu/VE/redand Beredבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonוְתַחַתve/TA/chatand Tahathבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonוְאֶלְעָדָהve/El/a/DAand Eleadahבְנוֹve/NOhis sonוְתַחַתve/TA/chatand Tahathבְּנוֹ׃be/NOhis son

    And the sons of Ephraim; Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,

21. 21

    וְזָבָדve/Za/VADand Zabadבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonוְשׁוּתֶלַחve/Shu/TE/lachand Shuthelahבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonוְעֵזֶרve/E/zerand Ezerוְאֶלְעָדve/El/ADand Eleadוַהֲרָגוּםva/ha/ra/GUMand killed themאַנְשֵׁי־גַתan/SHE-Gatthe men of Gathהַנּוֹלָדִיםhan/no/la/DIMwho were bornבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landכִּיkibecauseיָרְדוּya/re/DUthey came downלָקַחַתla/KA/chatto take awayאֶת־מִקְנֵיהֶם׃et-mik/ne/HEMtheir livestock

    And Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.

    וַיִּתְאַבֵּלvay/yit/ab/BELand mournedאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimאֲבִיהֶםa/vi/HEMtheir fatherיָמִיםya/MIMdaysרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand cameאֶחָיוe/CHAYVhis brothersלְנַחֲמוֹ׃le/na/cha/MOto comfort him

    And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

23. 23

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand he went inאֶל־אִשְתּוֹel-ish/TOto his wifeוַתַּהַרvat/TA/harand she conceivedוַתֵּלֶדvat/TE/ledand boreבֵּןbena sonוַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand he calledאֶת־שְׁמוֹet-she/MOhis nameבְּרִיעָהBe/ri/ABeriahכִּיkibecauseבְרָעָהve/ra/Ain evilהָיְתָהha/ye/TAit wasבְּבֵיתוֹ׃be/ve/TOin his house

    And when he went in to his wife, she conceived, and bare a son, and he called his name Beriah, because it went evil with his house.

    וּבִתּוֹu/vit/TOand his daughterשֶׁאֱרָהShe/e/RASheerahוַתִּבֶןvat/TI/venand she builtאֶת־בֵּית־חוֹרוֹןet-Bet-cho/RONBeth-horonהַתַּחְתּוֹןhat/tach/TONthe lowerוְאֶת־הָעֶלְיוֹןve/ET-ha/el/YONand the upperוְאֵתve/ETandאֻזֵּןUz/ZENUzzen-שֶׁאֱרָה׃she/e/RAsheerah

    (And his daughter was Sherah, who built Beth-horon the nether, and the upper, and Uzzen-sherah.)

    וְרֶפַחve/RE/fachand Rephahבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonוְרֶשֶׁףve/RE/shefand Reshephוְתֶלַחve/TE/lachand Telahבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonוְתַחַןve/TA/chanand Tahanבְּנוֹ׃be/NOhis son

    And Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,

26. 26

    לַעְדָּןLa/DANLaadanבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonעַמִּיהוּדAm/mi/HUDAmmihudבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonאֱלִישָׁמָעE/li/sha/MAElishamaבְּנוֹ׃be/NOhis son

    Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,

27. 27

    נוֹןNonNunבְּנוֹbe/NOhis sonיְהוֹשֻׁעַYe/ho/SHU/aJoshuaבְּנוֹ׃be/NOhis son

    Non his son, Jehoshua his son.

    וַאֲחֻזָּתָםva/a/chuz/za/TAMand their possessionsוּמֹשְׁבוֹתָםu/mosh/vo/TAMand dwellingsבֵּית־אֵלBet-elBeth-elוּבְנֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesוְלַמִּזְרָחve/lam/miz/RACHand eastwardנַעֲרָןNa/a/RANNaaranוְלַמַּעֲרָבve/lam/ma/a/RAVand westwardגֶּזֶרGE/zerGezerוּבְנֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesוּשְׁכֶםu/She/KHEMand Shechemוּבְנֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesעַד־עַיָּהad-Ay/YAas far as Ayyahוּבְנֹתֶיהָ׃u/ve/no/TE/haand its villages

    And their possessions and habitations were, Beth-el and the towns thereof, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with the towns thereof; Shechem also and the towns thereof, unto Gaza and the towns thereof:

    וְעַל־יְדֵיve/AL-ye/DEand besideבְנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁהve/NE-me/nash/SHEthe children of Manassehבֵּית־שְׁאָןBet-she/ANBeth-sheanוּבְנֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesתַּעְנַךְTa/NAKHTaanachוּבְנֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesמְגִדּוֹMe/gid/DOMegiddoוּבְנוֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesדּוֹרDorDorוּבְנוֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesבְּאֵלֶּהbe/EL/lein theseיָשְׁבוּya/she/VUdweltבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephבֶּן־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ben-Yis/ra/ELthe son of Israel

    And by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Beth-shean and her towns, Taanach and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.

    The sons of Asher; Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofבְרִיעָהVe/ri/ABeriahחֶבֶרCHE/verHeberוּמַלְכִּיאֵלu/Mal/ki/ELand Malchielהוּאhuhe isאֲבִיa/VIthe father of[בִרְזָיִת]׃Vir/ZA/yitBirzaith

    And the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel, who is the father of Birzavith.

    And Heber begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofיַפְלֵטYaf/LETJaphletפָּסַךְPa/SAKHPasachוּבִמְהָלu/Vim/HALand Bimhalוְעַשְׁוָתve/Ash/VATand AshvathאֵלֶּהEL/letheseבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofיַפְלֵט׃Yaf/LETJaphlet

    And the sons of Japhlet; Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofשָׁמֶרSHA/merShemerאֲחִיA/CHIAhi[וְרׇהְגָּה]Ve/roh/GAand Rohgah[וְחֻבָּה]Ve/chub/BAand Hubbahוַאֲרָם׃va/A/RAMand Aram

    And the sons of Shamer; Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.

    וּבֶן־הֵלֶםu/VEN-HE/lemand the son of Helemאָחִיוa/CHIVhis brotherצוֹפַחTso/FACHZophahוְיִמְנָעve/Yim/NAand Imnaוְשֵׁלֶשׁve/SHE/leshand Sheleshוְעָמָל׃ve/A/MALand Amal

    And the sons of his brother Helem; Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.
