   And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.

   And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

   The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.

    As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah; Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

    And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.

    And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

    וַיִּהְיוּand-they-wereמְשָׁרְתִיםthey-ministeredלִפְנֵיbeforeמִשְׁכַּןthe-dwelling-place-ofאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדthe-Tent-of-Meetingבַּשִּׁירwith-singingעַד־בְּנוֹתuntil-had-builtשְׁלֹמֹהSolomonאֶת־בֵּיתthe-house-ofיְהֹוָהthe-LORDבִּירוּשָׁלָ͏ִםin-Jerusalemוַיַּעַמְדוּand-they-performedכְמִשְׁפָּטָםaccording-to-their-orderעַל־עֲבוֹדָתָם׃their-office

    And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.

    וְאֵלֶּהand-theseהָעֹמְדִיםthe-men-who-servedוּבְנֵיהֶםand-their-sonsמִבְּנֵיof-the-sons-ofהַקְּהָתִיthe-KohathitesהֵימָןHemanהַמְשׁוֹרֵרthe-singerבֶּן־יוֹאֵלson-of-Joelבֶּן־שְׁמוּאֵל׃son-of-Samuel

    And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,

    בֶּן־אֶלְקָנָהson-of-Elkanahבֶּן־יְרֹחָםson-of-Jerohamבֶּן־אֱלִיאֵלson-of-Elielבֶּן־תּוֹחַ׃son-of-Toah

    The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

    The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

    The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

    וְאָחִיוand-his-brotherאָסָףAsaphהָעֹמֵדwho-stoodעַל־יְמִינוֹon-his-right-handאָסָףAsaphבֶּן־בֶּרֶכְיָהוּson-of-Berechiahבֶּן־שִׁמְעָא׃son-of-Shimea

    And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,

    בֶּן־מִיכָאֵלson-of-Michaelבֶּן־בַּעֲשֵׂיָהson-of-Baaseiahבֶּן־מַלְכִּיָּה׃son-of-Malchijah

    The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,

    And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

    בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָהson-of-Hashabiahבֶן־אֲמַצְיָהson-of-Amaziahבֶּן־חִלְקִיָּה׃son-of-Hilkiah

    The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

31. 31

    בֶּן־אַמְצִיson-of-Amziבֶן־בָּנִיson-of-Baniבֶּן־שָׁמֶר׃son-of-Shemer

    The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,

32. 32

    בֶּן־מַחְלִיson-of-Mahliבֶּן־מוּשִׁיson-of-Mushiבֶּן־מְרָרִיson-of-Merariבֶּן־לֵוִי׃son-of-Levi

    The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

    וַאֲחֵיהֶםand-their-brethrenהַלְוִיִּםthe-Levitesנְתוּנִיםwere-appointedלְכׇל־עֲבוֹדַתto-all-manner-of-service-ofמִשְׁכַּןthe-tabernacle-ofבֵּיתthe-house-ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃the-God

    Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

34. 34

    וְאַהֲרֹןand-Aaronוּבָנָיוand-his-sonsמַקְטִירִיםofferedעַל־מִזְבַּחupon-the-altar-ofהָעוֹלָהthe-burnt-offeringוְעַל־מִזְבַּחand-on-the-altar-ofהַקְּטֹרֶתthe-incenseלְכֹלfor-allמְלֶאכֶתthe-work-ofקֹדֶשׁthe-holy-ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםholiesוּלְכַפֵּרand-to-make-atonementעַל־יִשְׂרָאֵלfor-Israelכְּכֹלaccording-to-allאֲשֶׁרwhichצִוָּהcommandedמֹשֶׁהMosesעֶבֶדthe-servant-ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃the-God

    But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

35. 35

    וְאֵלֶּהand-theseבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofאַהֲרֹןAaronאֶלְעָזָרEleazarבְּנוֹhis-sonפִּינְחָסPhinehasבְּנוֹhis-sonאֲבִישׁוּעַAbishuaבְּנוֹ׃his-son

    And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

36. 36

    בֻּקִּיBukkiבְנוֹhis-sonעֻזִּיUzziבְנוֹhis-sonזְרַחְיָהZerahiahבְנוֹ׃his-son

    Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

37. 37

    מְרָיוֹתMeraiothבְּנוֹhis-sonאֲמַרְיָהAmariahבְנוֹhis-sonאֲחִיטוּבAhitubבְּנוֹ׃his-son

    Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

38. 38

    צָדוֹקZadokבְּנוֹhis-sonאֲחִימַעַץAhimaazבְּנוֹ׃his-son

    Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

    וְאֵלֶּהand-theseמוֹשְׁבוֹתָםtheir-dwelling-placesלְטִירוֹתָםthroughout-their-encampmentsבִּגְבוּלָםin-their-bordersלִבְנֵיunto-the-sons-ofאַהֲרֹןAaronלְמִשְׁפַּחַתof-the-families-ofהַקְּהָתִיthe-Kohathitesכִּיforלָהֶםto-themהָיָהwasהַגּוֹרָל׃the-lot

    Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.

40. 40

    וַיִּתְּנוּand-they-gaveלָהֶםto-themאֶת־חֶבְרוֹןHebronבְּאֶרֶץin-the-land-ofיְהוּדָהJudahוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsסְבִיבֹתֶיהָ׃round-about-it

    And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.

41. 41

    וְאֶת־שְׂדֵהbut-the-fields-ofהָעִירthe-cityוְאֶת־חֲצֵרֶיהָand-its-farmsteadsנָתְנוּthey-gaveלְכָלֵבto-Calebבֶּן־יְפֻנֶּה׃son-of-Jephunneh

    But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

42. 42

    וְלִבְנֵיand-to-the-sons-ofאַהֲרֹןAaronנָתְנוּthey-gaveאֶת־עָרֵיthe-cities-ofהַמִּקְלָטthe-refugeאֶת־חֶבְרוֹןHebronוְאֶת־לִבְנָהand-Libnahוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־יַתִּרand-Jattirוְאֶת־אֶשְׁתְּמֹעַand-Eshtemoaוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,

43. 43

    וְאֶת־חִילֵזand-Hilenוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsאֶת־דְּבִירDebirוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,

44. 44

    וְאֶת־עָשָׁןand-Ashanוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־בֵּיתand-Beth-שֶׁמֶשׁshemeshוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs:

45. 45

    וּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofבִנְיָמִןBenjaminאֶת־גֶּבַעGebaוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־עָלֶמֶתand-Alemethוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־עֲנָתוֹתand-Anathothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsכׇּל־עָרֵיהֶםall-their-citiesשְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהthirteenעִירcitiesבְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתֵיהֶם׃in-their-families

    And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

46. 46

    וְלִבְנֵיand-to-the-sons-ofקְהָתKohathהַנּוֹתָרִיםthe-rest-ofמִמִּשְׁפַּחַתof-the-family-ofהַמַּטֶּהthe-tribeמִמַּחֲצִיתout-of-the-half-ofמַטֵּהthe-tribe-ofחֲצִיhalfמְנַשֶּׁהManassehבַּגּוֹרָלby-the-lotעָרִיםcitiesעָשֶׂר׃ten

    And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

    וְלִבְנֵיand-to-the-sons-ofגֵרְשׁוֹםGershomלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםto-their-familiesמִמַּטֵּהfrom-the-tribe-ofיִשָּׂשכָרIssacharוּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofאָשֵׁרAsherוּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofנַפְתָּלִיNaphtaliוּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofמְנַשֶּׁהManassehבַּבָּשָׁןin-Bashanעָרִיםcitiesשְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵה׃thirteen

    And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

    לִבְנֵיunto-the-sons-ofמְרָרִיMerariלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםto-their-familiesמִמַּטֵּהfrom-the-tribe-ofרְאוּבֵןReubenוּמִמַּטֵּה־גָדand-from-the-tribe-of-Gadוּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofזְבֻלוּןZebulunבַּגּוֹרָלby-the-lotעָרִיםcitiesשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵה׃twelve

    Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

    וַיִּתְּנוּand-they-gaveבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons-of-Israelלַלְוִיִּםto-the-Levitesאֶת־הֶעָרִיםthe-citiesוְאֶת־מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶם׃and-their-pasture-lands

    And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.

50. 50

    וַיִּתְּנוּand-they-gaveבַגּוֹרָלby-the-lotמִמַּטֵּהfrom-the-tribe-ofבְנֵי־יְהוּדָהsons-of-Judahוּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofבְנֵי־שִׁמְעוֹןsons-of-Simeonוּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofבִנְיָמִןBenjaminאֵת־הֶעָרִיםthe-citiesהָאֵלֶּהtheseאֲשֶׁר־יִקְרְאוּwhich-are-mentionedאֶתְהֶםthemבְּשֵׁמוֹת׃by-names

    And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.

    וּמִמִּשְׁפְּחוֹתand-some-of-the-families-ofבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofקְהָתKohathוַיְהִיhadעָרֵיcities-ofגְבוּלָםtheir-bordersמִמַּטֵּהfrom-the-tribe-ofאֶפְרָיִם׃Ephraim

    And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.

52. 52

    וַיִּתְּנוּand-they-gaveלָהֶםto-themאֶת־עָרֵיthe-cities-ofהַמִּקְלָטthe-refugeאֶת־שְׁכֶםShechemוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsבְּהַרon-the-mount-ofאֶפְרָיִםEphraimוְאֶת־גֶּזֶרand-Gezerוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,

    וְאֶת־יׇקְמְעָםand-Jokmeamוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־בֵּיתand-Beth-חוֹרוֹןhoronוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs,

54. 54

    וְאֶת־אַיָּלוֹןand-Aijalonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־גַּת־רִמּוֹןand-Gath-Rimmonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs:

55. 55

    וּמִמַּחֲצִיתand-out-of-the-half-ofמַטֵּהthe-tribe-ofמְנַשֶּׁהManassehאֶת־עָנֵרAnerוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־בִּלְעָםand-Balaamוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsלְמִשְׁפַּחַתfor-the-family-ofלִבְנֵי־קְהָתunto-the-sons-of-Kohathהַנּוֹתָרִים׃of-the-remnant

    And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.

    לִבְנֵיunto-the-sons-ofגֵּרְשׁוֹםGershomמִמִּשְׁפַּחַתof-the-family-ofחֲצִיhalfמַטֵּהthe-tribe-ofמְנַשֶּׁהManassehאֶת־גּוֹלָןGolanבַּבָּשָׁןin-Bashanוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־עַשְׁתָּרוֹתand-Ashtarothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:

57. 57

    וּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofיִשָּׂשכָרIssacharאֶת־קֶדֶשׁKedeshוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsאֶת־דָּבְרַתDaberathוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,

58. 58

    וְאֶת־רָאמוֹתand-Ramothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־עָנֵםand-Anemוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:

59. 59

    וּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofאָשֵׁרAsherאֶת־מָשָׁלMashalוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־עַבְדּוֹןand-Abdonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    וְאֶת־חוּקֹקand-Hukokוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־רְחֹבand-Rehobוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:

61. 61

    וּמִמַּטֵּהand-from-the-tribe-ofנַפְתָּלִיNaphtaliאֶת־קֶדֶשׁKedeshבַּגָּלִילin-Galileeוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־חַמּוֹןand-Hammonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־קִרְיָתַיִםand-Kirjathaimוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.

62. 62

    לִבְנֵיunto-the-sons-ofמְרָרִיMerariהַנּוֹתָרִיםthe-rest-ofמִמַּטֵּהfrom-the-tribe-ofזְבֻלוּןZebulunאֶת־רִמּוֹנוֹRimmonoוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsאֶת־תָּבוֹרTaborוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:

63. 63

    וּמֵעֵבֶרand-on-the-other-side-ofלְיַרְדֵּןthe-Jordanיְרֵחוֹby-Jerichoלְמִזְרַחon-the-east-side-ofהַיַּרְדֵּןthe-Jordanמִמַּטֵּהfrom-the-tribe-ofרְאוּבֵןReubenאֶת־בֶּצֶרBezerבַּמִּדְבָּרin-the-wildernessוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־יַהְצָהand-Jahazוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,

64. 64

    וְאֶת־קְדֵמוֹתand-Kedemothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־מֵיפַעַתand-Mephaathוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:

65. 65

    וּמִמַּטֵּה־גָדand-from-the-tribe-of-Gadאֶת־רָאמוֹתRamothבַּגִּלְעָדin-Gileadוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־מַחֲנַיִםand-Mahanaimוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,

66. 66

    וְאֶת־חֶשְׁבּוֹןand-Heshbonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָand-its-pasture-landsוְאֶת־יַעְזֵירand-Jazerוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃and-its-pasture-lands

    And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.
