    And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

    The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.

    And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

    And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.

    And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,

    Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

    וְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronוּבָנָיוu/va/NAYVand his sonsמַקְטִירִיםmak/ti/RIMmade offeringsעַל־מִזְבַּחal-miz/BACHupon the altar ofהָעוֹלָהha/o/LAthe burnt offeringוְעַל־מִזְבַּחve/AL-miz/BACHand on the altar ofהַקְּטֹרֶתhak/ke/TO/retthe incenseלְכֹלle/KHOLfor allמְלֶאכֶתme/LE/khetthe work ofקֹדֶשׁKO/deshthe holy ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםhak/ko/da/SHIMholiesוּלְכַפֵּרu/le/khap/PERand to make atonementעַל־יִשְׂרָאֵלal-Yis/ra/ELfor Israelכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesעֶבֶדE/vedthe servant ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

    And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

    Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.

    וַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand they gaveלָהֶםla/HEMto themאֶת־חֶבְרוֹןet-Chev/RONHebronבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsסְבִיבֹתֶיהָ׃se/vi/vo/TE/haaround it

    And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.

    וְאֶת־שְׂדֵהve/ET-se/DEbut the fields ofהָעִירha/IRthe cityוְאֶת־חֲצֵרֶיהָve/ET-cha/tse/RE/haand its villagesנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey gaveלְכָלֵבle/Kha/LEVto Calebבֶּן־יְפֻנֶּה׃ben-Ye/fun/NEthe son of Jephunneh

    But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

    וְלִבְנֵיve/liv/NEand to the sons ofאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey gaveאֶת־עָרֵיet-a/REthe cities ofהַמִּקְלָטham/mik/LATthe refugeאֶת־חֶבְרוֹןet-Chev/RONHebronוְאֶת־לִבְנָהve/ET-liv/NAand Libnahוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־יַתִּרve/ET-yat/TIRand Jattirוְאֶת־אֶשְׁתְּמֹעַve/ET-esh/te/MO/aand Eshtemoaוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,

    וְאֶת־חִילֵזve/ET-chi/LEZand Hilezוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsאֶת־דְּבִירet-De/VIRDebirוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,

    וְאֶת־עָשָׁןve/ET-a/SHANand Ashanוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־בֵּיתve/ET-betand Beth-שֶׁמֶשׁSHE/meshshemeshוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs:

    וּמִמַּטֵּהu/mim/mat/TEand from the tribe ofבִנְיָמִןVin/ya/MINBenjaminאֶת־גֶּבַעet-GE/vaGebaוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־עָלֶמֶתve/ET-a/LE/metand Alemethוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־עֲנָתוֹתve/ET-a/na/TOTand Anathothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsכׇּל־עָרֵיהֶםkol-a/re/HEMall their citiesשְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהshe/LOSH-es/REthirteenעִירircitiesבְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹתֵיהֶם׃be/mish/pe/cho/te/HEMby their families

    And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

    וְלִבְנֵיve/liv/NEand to the sons ofקְהָתKe/HATKohathהַנּוֹתָרִיםhan/no/ta/RIMwho were leftמִמִּשְׁפַּחַתmim/mish/PA/chatfrom the family ofהַמַּטֶּהham/mat/TEthe tribeמִמַּחֲצִיתmim/ma/cha/TSITfrom the half ofמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofחֲצִיcha/TSIhalfמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehבַּגּוֹרָלbag/go/RALby the lotעָרִיםa/RIMcitiesעָשֶׂר׃A/serten

    And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

    And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

    Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

    וַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand they gaveבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of IsraelלַלְוִיִּםLal/viy/YIMto the Levitesאֶת־הֶעָרִיםet-he/a/RIMthe citiesוְאֶת־מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶם׃ve/ET-mig/re/she/HEMand their pasture lands

    And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.

  50. 50

    וַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand they gaveבַגּוֹרָלvag/go/RALby the lotמִמַּטֵּהmim/mat/TEfrom the tribe ofבְנֵי־יְהוּדָהve/NE-ye/hu/DAthe children of Judahוּמִמַּטֵּהu/mim/mat/TEand from the tribe ofבְנֵי־שִׁמְעוֹןve/NE-shim/ONthe children of Simeonוּמִמַּטֵּהu/mim/mat/TEand from the tribe ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofבִנְיָמִןVin/ya/MINBenjaminאֵת־הֶעָרִיםet-he/a/RIMthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁר־יִקְרְאוּa/SHER-yik/re/Uwhich they calledאֶתְהֶםet/HEMthemבְּשֵׁמוֹת׃be/she/MOTby names

    And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.

    וּמִמִּשְׁפְּחוֹתu/mim/mish/pe/CHOTand some of the families ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofקְהָתKe/HATKohathוַיְהִיvay/HIand there wereעָרֵיa/REcities ofגְבוּלָםge/vu/LAMtheir bordersמִמַּטֵּהmim/mat/TEfrom the tribe ofאֶפְרָיִם׃Ef/RA/yimEphraim

    And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.

  52. 52

    וַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand they gaveלָהֶםla/HEMto themאֶת־עָרֵיet-a/REthe cities ofהַמִּקְלָטham/mik/LATthe refugeאֶת־שְׁכֶםet-She/KHEMShechemוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsבְּהַרbe/HARin the hill country ofאֶפְרָיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimוְאֶת־גֶּזֶרve/ET-GE/zerand Gezerוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,

    וְאֶת־יׇקְמְעָםve/ET-yok/me/AMand Jokmeamוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־בֵּיתve/ET-betand Beth-חוֹרוֹןcho/RONhoronוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs,

  54. 54

    וְאֶת־אַיָּלוֹןve/ET-ay/ya/LONand Aijalonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־גַּת־רִמּוֹןve/ET-gat-rim/MONand Gath-rimmonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs:

  55. 55

    וּמִמַּחֲצִיתu/mim/ma/cha/TSITand out of the half ofמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehאֶת־עָנֵרet-A/NERAnerוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־בִּלְעָםve/ET-bil/AMand Bileamוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsלְמִשְׁפַּחַתle/mish/PA/chatfor the family ofלִבְנֵי־קְהָתliv/NE-Ke/HATof the sons of Kohathהַנּוֹתָרִים׃han/no/ta/RIMwho remained

    And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.

    לִבְנֵיliv/NEto the sons ofגֵּרְשׁוֹםGer/SHOMGershomמִמִּשְׁפַּחַתmim/mish/PA/chatfrom the family ofחֲצִיcha/TSIthe halfמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehאֶת־גּוֹלָןet-Go/LANGolanבַּבָּשָׁןbab/Ba/SHANin Bashanוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־עַשְׁתָּרוֹתve/ET-ash/ta/ROTand Ashtarothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:

    וּמִמַּטֵּהu/mim/mat/TEand from the tribe ofיִשָּׂשכָרYis/sash/KHARIssacharאֶת־קֶדֶשׁet-KE/deshKedeshוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsאֶת־דָּבְרַתet-Da/ve/RATDaberathוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,

    וְאֶת־רָאמוֹתve/ET-ra/MOTand Ramothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־עָנֵםve/ET-a/NEMand Anemוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:

  59. 59

    וּמִמַּטֵּהu/mim/mat/TEand from the tribe ofאָשֵׁרA/SHERAsherאֶת־מָשָׁלet-Ma/SHALMashalוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־עַבְדּוֹןve/ET-av/DONand Abdonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs,

    וְאֶת־חוּקֹקve/ET-chu/KOKand Hukokוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־רְחֹבve/ET-re/CHOVand Rehobוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:

  61. 61

    וּמִמַּטֵּהu/mim/mat/TEand from the tribe ofנַפְתָּלִיNaf/ta/LINaphtaliאֶת־קֶדֶשׁet-KE/deshKedeshבַּגָּלִילbag/Ga/LILin Galileeוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־חַמּוֹןve/ET-cham/MONand Hammonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־קִרְיָתַיִםve/ET-kir/ya/TA/yimand Kirjathaimוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.

    לִבְנֵיliv/NEto the sons ofמְרָרִיMe/ra/RIMerariהַנּוֹתָרִיםhan/no/ta/RIMwho remainedמִמַּטֵּהmim/mat/TEfrom the tribe ofזְבֻלוּןZe/vu/LUNZebulunאֶת־רִמּוֹנוֹet-Rim/mo/NORimmonoוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsאֶת־תָּבוֹרet-Ta/VORTaborוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:

    וּמֵעֵבֶרu/me/E/verand on the other side ofלְיַרְדֵּןle/Yar/DENthe JordanיְרֵחוֹYe/re/CHOJerichoלְמִזְרַחle/miz/RACHon the east side ofהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENthe Jordanמִמַּטֵּהmim/mat/TEfrom the tribe ofרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenאֶת־בֶּצֶרet-BE/tserBezerבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־יַהְצָהve/ET-YAH/tsaand Jahazוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,

    וְאֶת־קְדֵמוֹתve/ET-ke/de/MOTand Kedemothוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־מֵיפַעַתve/ET-me/FA/atand Mephaathוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:

  65. 65

    וּמִמַּטֵּה־גָדu/Mim/mat/TE-gadand from the tribe of Gadאֶת־רָאמוֹתet-Ra/MOTRamothבַּגִּלְעָדbag/Gil/ADin Gileadוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־מַחֲנַיִםve/ET-ma/cha/NA/yimand Mahanaimוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,

  66. 66

    וְאֶת־חֶשְׁבּוֹןve/ET-chesh/BONand Heshbonוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture landsוְאֶת־יַעְזֵירve/ET-ya/ZERand Jazerוְאֶת־מִגְרָשֶׁיהָ׃ve/ET-mig/ra/SHE/haand its pasture lands

    And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.
