   So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

   וַיְכַלvay/KHALand when had finishedדָּוִידDa/VIDDavidמֵהַעֲלוֹתme/ha/a/LOTofferingהָעֹלָהha/o/LAthe burnt offeringוְהַשְּׁלָמִיםve/hash/she/la/MIMand the peace offeringsוַיְבָרֶךְvay/VA/rekhand blessedאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

   וַיְחַלֵּקvay/chal/LEKand he distributedלְכׇל־אִישׁle/KHOL-ishto every man ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמֵאִישׁme/ISHfrom manוְעַד־אִשָּׁהve/AD-ish/SHAto womanלְאִישׁle/ISHto eachכִּכַּר־לֶחֶםkik/KAR-LE/chema loaf of breadוְאֶשְׁפָּרve/esh/PARand a portionוַאֲשִׁישָׁה׃va/a/shi/SHAand a raisin cake

   And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

   וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand he appointedלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֲרוֹןa/RONthe ark ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמִן־הַלְוִיִּםmin-Hal/viy/YIMsome of the Levitesמְשָׁרְתִיםme/sha/re/TIMas ministersוּלְהַזְכִּירu/le/haz/KIRand to commemorateוּלְהוֹדוֹתu/le/ho/DOTand to thankוּלְהַלֵּלu/le/hal/LELand to praiseלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

   And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

   Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;

   Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

   Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

   הוֹדוּho/DUgive thanksלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDקִרְאוּkir/Ucall uponבִשְׁמוֹvish/MOon His nameהוֹדִיעוּho/DI/umake knownבָעַמִּיםva/am/MIMamong the peoplesעֲלִילֹתָיו׃a/li/lo/TAYVHis deeds

   Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

9. 9

   שִׁירוּSHI/rusingלוֹloto Himזַמְּרוּ־לוֹzam/me/RU-losing praises to HimשִׂיחוּSI/chumeditateבְּכׇל־נִפְלְאֹתָיו׃be/KHOL-nif/le/o/TAYVon all His wonders

   Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

10. 10

    הִתְהַלְלוּhit/hal/LUgloryבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofקׇדְשׁוֹkod/SHOHis holinessיִשְׂמַחyis/MACHlet rejoiceלֵבlevthe heart ofמְבַקְשֵׁיme/vak/SHEthose who seekיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

11. 11

    דִּרְשׁוּdir/SHUseekיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְעֻזּוֹve/uz/ZOand His strengthבַּקְּשׁוּbak/ke/SHUseekפָנָיוfa/NAYVHis faceתָּמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinually

    Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

12. 12

    זִכְרוּzikh/RUrememberנִפְלְאֹתָיוnif/le/o/TAYVHis wondersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשָׂהa/SAHe has doneמֹפְתָיוmof/TAYVHis marvelsוּמִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִיהוּ׃u/mish/pe/TE-FI/huand the judgments of His mouth

    Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

13. 13

    זֶרַעZE/raO seed ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעַבְדּוֹav/DOHis servantבְּנֵיbe/NEO children ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobבְּחִירָיו׃be/chi/RAYVHis chosen ones

    O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

14. 14

    הוּאhuHe isיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץbe/KHOL-ha/A/retsin all the earthמִשְׁפָּטָיו׃mish/pa/TAYVHis judgments are

    He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

15. 15

    זִכְרוּzikh/RUbe mindfulלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverבְּרִיתוֹbe/ri/TOHis covenantדָּבָרda/VARthe wordצִוָּהtsiv/VAHe commandedלְאֶלֶףle/E/lefto a thousandדּוֹר׃dorgenerations

    Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

16. 16

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּרַתka/RATHe madeאֶת־אַבְרָהָםet-Av/ra/HAMwith Abrahamוּשְׁבוּעָתוֹu/she/vu/a/TOand His oathלְיִצְחָק׃le/Yits/CHAKfor Isaac

    Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

17. 17

    וַיַּעֲמִידֶהָvay/ya/a/mi/DE/haand He confirmed itלְיַעֲקֹבle/Ya/a/KOVto Jacobלְחֹקle/CHOKfor a lawלְיִשְׂרָאֵלle/Yis/ra/ELto Israelבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeverlasting

    And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

18. 18

    לֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלְךָle/KHAto youאֶתֵּןet/TENI will giveאֶרֶץ־כְּנָעַןE/rets-Ke/NA/anthe land of CanaanחֶבֶלCHE/velthe portion ofנַחֲלַתְכֶם׃na/cha/lat/KHEMyour inheritance

    Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

19. 19

    בִּהְיוֹתְכֶםbih/yot/KHEMwhen you wereמְתֵיme/TEmen ofמִסְפָּרmis/PARnumberכִּמְעַטkim/ATvery fewוְגָרִיםve/ga/RIMand sojournersבָּהּ׃bain it

    When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.

20. 20

    וַיִּתְהַלְּכוּvay/yit/hal/le/KHUand they went aboutמִגּוֹיmig/GOYfrom nationאֶל־גּוֹיel-goyto nationוּמִמַּמְלָכָהu/mim/mam/la/KHAand from a kingdomאֶל־עַםel-amto peopleאַחֵר׃a/CHERanother

    And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;

21. 21

    לֹא־הִנִּיחַlo-hin/NI/achHe did not allowלְאִישׁle/ISHanyoneלְעׇשְׁקָםle/osh/KAMto oppress themוַיּוֹכַחvay/YO/khachand He rebukedעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMfor their sakeמְלָכִים׃me/la/KHIMkings

    He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

22. 22

    אַל־תִּגְּעוּal-tig/ge/Udo not touchבִּמְשִׁיחָיbim/shi/CHAYMy anointed onesוּבִנְבִיאַיu/vin/vi/AYand to My prophetsאַל־תָּרֵעוּ׃al-ta/RE/udo no harm

    Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

23. 23

    שִׁירוּSHI/rusingלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכׇּל־הָאָרֶץkol-ha/A/retsall the earthבַּשְּׂרוּbas/se/RUannounceמִיּוֹם־אֶל־יוֹםmiy/YOM-el-yomfrom day to dayיְשׁוּעָתוֹ׃ye/shu/a/TOHis salvation

    Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.

24. 24

    סַפְּרוּsap/pe/RUdeclareבַגּוֹיִםvag/go/YIMamong the nationsאֶת־כְּבוֹדוֹet-ke/vo/DOHis gloryבְּכׇל־הָעַמִּיםbe/KHOL-ha/am/MIMamong all the peoplesנִפְלְאֹתָיו׃nif/le/o/TAYVHis wonders

    Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.

25. 25

    כִּיkiforגָדוֹלga/DOLgreat isיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוּמְהֻלָּלu/me/hul/LALand to be praisedמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyוְנוֹרָאve/no/RAand to be fearedהוּאhuHe isעַל־כׇּל־אֱלֹהִים׃al-kol-e/lo/HIMabove all gods

    For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.

26. 26

    כִּיkiforכׇּל־אֱלֹהֵיkol-e/lo/HEall the gods ofהָעַמִּיםha/am/MIMthe peoplesאֱלִילִיםe/li/LIMare idolsוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensעָשָׂה׃a/SAmade

    For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

27. 27

    הוֹדhodhonorוְהָדָרve/ha/DARand majestyלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVare before Himעֹזozstrengthוְחֶדְוָהve/ched/VAand gladnessבִּמְקֹמוֹ׃bim/ko/MOare in His place

    Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

28. 28

    הָבוּha/VUascribeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDמִשְׁפְּחוֹתmish/pe/CHOTO families ofעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesהָבוּha/VUascribeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכָּבוֹדka/VODgloryוָעֹז׃va/OZand strength

    Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

29. 29

    הָבוּha/VUascribeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory due toשְׁמוֹshe/MOHis nameשְׂאוּse/Ubringמִנְחָהmin/CHAan offeringוּבֹאוּu/VO/uand comeלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore Himהִשְׁתַּחֲווּhish/ta/cha/VUworshipלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבְּהַדְרַת־קֹדֶשׁ׃be/had/RAT-KO/deshin the beauty of holiness

    Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

30. 30

    חִילוּCHI/lutrembleמִלְּפָנָיוmil/le/fa/NAYVbefore Himכׇּל־הָאָרֶץkol-ha/A/retsall the earthאַף־תִּכּוֹןaf-tik/KONyes is establishedתֵּבֵלte/VELthe worldבַּל־תִּמּוֹט׃bal-tim/MOTit shall not be moved

    Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

31. 31

    יִשְׂמְחוּyis/me/CHUlet be gladהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְתָגֵלve/ta/GELand let rejoiceהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְיֹאמְרוּve/yo/me/RUand let them sayבַגּוֹיִםvag/go/YIMamong the nationsיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמָלָךְ׃ma/LAKHreigns

    Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.

32. 32

    יִרְעַםyir/AMlet roarהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaוּמְלוֹאוֹu/me/lo/Oand its fullnessיַעֲלֹץya/a/LOTSlet rejoiceהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldוְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹ׃ve/KHOL-a/SHER-boand all that is in it

    Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

33. 33

    אָזazthenיְרַנְּנוּye/ran/ne/NUshall sing for joyעֲצֵיa/TSEthe trees ofהַיָּעַרhay/YA/arthe forestמִלִּפְנֵיmil/lif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכִּי־בָאki-vafor He comesלִשְׁפּוֹטlish/POTto judgeאֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃et-ha/A/retsthe earth

    Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.

34. 34

    הוֹדוּho/DUgive thanksלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכִּיkiforטוֹבtovHe is goodכִּיkiforלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforever isחַסְדּוֹ׃chas/DOHis kindness

    O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

35. 35

    וְאִמְרוּve/im/RUand sayהוֹשִׁיעֵנוּho/shi/E/nusave usאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׁעֵנוּyish/E/nuour salvationוְקַבְּצֵנוּve/kab/be/TSE/nuand gather usוְהַצִּילֵנוּve/hats/tsi/LE/nuand deliver usמִן־הַגּוֹיִםmin-hag/go/YIMof the nationsלְהֹדוֹתle/ho/DOTthat we may give thanksלְשֵׁםle/SHEMto the name ofקׇדְשֶׁךָkod/SHE/khaYour holinessלְהִשְׁתַּבֵּחַle/hish/tab/BE/achto gloryבִּתְהִלָּתֶךָ׃bit/hil/la/TE/khain Your praise

    And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

36. 36

    בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמִן־הָעוֹלָםmin-ha/o/LAMfrom everlastingוְעַדve/ADand toהָעֹלָםha/o/LAMeverlastingוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidכׇל־הָעָםkhol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵןa/MENamenוְהַלֵּלve/hal/LELand praisedלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

37. 37

    וַיַּעֲזׇב־שָׁםvay/ya/a/ZOV-shamso he left thereלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֲרוֹןa/RONthe ark ofבְּרִית־יְהֹוָהbe/RIT-Adonaithe covenant of the LORDלְאָסָףLe/a/SAFAsaphוּלְאֶחָיוu/le/e/CHAYVand his brothersלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto ministerלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאָרוֹןha/a/RONthe arkתָּמִידta/MIDcontinuallyלִדְבַר־יוֹםlid/VAR-yomas each day's matterבְּיוֹמוֹ׃be/yo/MOon its day

    So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:

38. 38

    וְעֹבֵדve/O/VEDand Obed-אֱדֹםe/DOMedomוַאֲחֵיהֶםva/a/che/HEMand their brothersשִׁשִּׁיםshish/SHIMsixtyוּשְׁמוֹנָהu/she/mo/NAand eightוְעֹבֵדve/O/VEDand Obed-אֱדֹםe/DOMedomבֶּן־יְדִיתוּןben-Ye/di/TUNthe son of Jedithunוְחֹסָהve/Cho/SAand Hosahלְשֹׁעֲרִים׃le/sho/a/RIMas gatekeepers

    And Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:

39. 39

    וְאֵתve/ETandצָדוֹקTsa/DOKZadokהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְאֶחָיוve/e/CHAYVand his brothersהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeמִשְׁכַּןmish/KANthe tabernacle ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבַּבָּמָהbab/ba/MAin the high placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasבְּגִבְעוֹן׃be/Giv/ONat Gibeon

    And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,

40. 40

    לְהַעֲלוֹתle/ha/a/LOTto offerעֹלוֹתo/LOTburnt offeringsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDעַל־מִזְבַּחal-miz/BACHon the altar ofהָעֹלָהha/o/LAthe burnt offeringתָּמִידta/MIDcontinuallyלַבֹּקֶרlab/BO/kermorningוְלָעָרֶבve/la/A/revand eveningוּלְכׇל־הַכָּתוּבu/le/KHOL-hak/ka/TUVand according to all that is writtenבְּתוֹרַתbe/To/RATin the Law ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּהtsiv/VAHe commandedעַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃al-Yis/ra/ELupon Israel

    To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;

41. 41

    וְעִמָּהֶםve/im/ma/HEMand with themהֵימָןHe/MANHemanוִידוּתוּןVi/du/TUNand Jeduthunוּשְׁאָרu/she/ARand the rest ofהַבְּרוּרִיםhab/be/ru/RIMthe chosenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoנִקְּבוּnik/ke/VUwere designatedבְּשֵׁמוֹתbe/she/MOTby namesלְהֹדוֹתle/ho/DOTto give thanksלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכִּיkiforלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforever isחַסְדּוֹ׃chas/DOHis kindness

    And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;

42. 42

    וְעִמָּהֶםve/im/ma/HEMand with themהֵימָןHe/MANHemanוִידוּתוּןVi/du/TUNand Jeduthunחֲצֹצְרוֹתcha/tsots/ROTtrumpetsוּמְצִלְתַּיִםu/me/tsil/TA/yimand cymbalsלְמַשְׁמִיעִיםle/mash/mi/IMfor sounding aloudוּכְלֵיu/khe/LEand instruments ofשִׁירshirsong ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofיְדוּתוּןYe/du/TUNJeduthunלַשָּׁעַר׃lash/SHA/arat the gate

    And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

43. 43

    וַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUthen wentכׇל־הָעָםkhol-ha/AMall the peopleאִישׁisheachלְבֵיתוֹle/ve/TOto his houseוַיִּסֹּבvay/yis/SOVand returnedדָּוִידDa/VIDDavidלְבָרֵךְle/va/REKHto blessאֶת־בֵּיתוֹ׃et-be/TOhis house

    And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
