   And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

   וּבְנֵיand-sons-ofיָוָןJavanאֱלִישָׁהElishaוְתַרְשִׁישָׁהand-TarshishכִּתִּיםKittimוְרוֹדָנִים׃and-Rodanim

   And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

   בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofחָםHamכּוּשׁCushוּמִצְרַיִםand-MizraimפּוּטPutוּכְנָעַן׃and-Canaan

   The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

   וּבְנֵיand-sons-ofכוּשׁCushסְבָאSebaוַחֲוִילָהand-Havilahוְסַבְתָּאand-Sabtaוְרַעְמָאand-Ramahוְסַבְתְּכָאand-Sabtechaוּבְנֵיand-sons-ofרַעְמָאRamahשְׁבָאShebaוּדְדָן׃and-Dedan

   And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

    וְכוּשׁand-Cushיָלַדbegatאֶת־נִמְרוֹדNimrodהוּאheהֵחֵלbeganלִהְיוֹתto-beגִּבּוֹרmightyבָּאָרֶץ׃upon-the-earth

    And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.

    וּמִצְרַיִםand-Mizraimיָלַדbegatאֶת־[לוּדִים]Ludimוְאֶת־עֲנָמִיםand-Anamimוְאֶת־לְהָבִיםand-Lehabimוְאֶת־נַפְתֻּחִים׃and-Naphtuhim

    And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

12. 12

    וְאֶת־פַּתְרֻסִיםand-Pathrusimוְאֶת־כַּסְלֻחִיםand-Casluhimאֲשֶׁרwhichיָצְאוּcameמִשָּׁםfrom-thereפְּלִשְׁתִּיםthe-Philistinesוְאֶת־כַּפְתֹּרִים׃and-Caphtorim

    And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.

13. 13

    וּכְנַעַןand-Canaanיָלַדbegatאֶת־צִידוֹןZidonבְּכֹרוֹhis-firstbornוְאֶת־חֵת׃and-Heth

    And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

14. 14

    וְאֶת־הַיְבוּסִיand-the-Jebusiteוְאֶת־הָאֱמֹרִיand-the-Amoriteוְאֵתandהַגִּרְגָּשִׁי׃the-Girgashite

    The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

15. 15

    וְאֶת־הַחִוִּיand-the-Hiviteוְאֶת־הַעַרְקִיand-the-Arkiteוְאֶת־הַסִּינִי׃and-the-Sinite

    And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16. 16

    וְאֶת־הָאַרְוָדִיand-the-Arvaditeוְאֶת־הַצְּמָרִיand-the-Zemariteוְאֶת־הַחֲמָתִי׃and-the-Hamathite

    And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

    בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofשֵׁםShemעֵילָםElamוְאַשּׁוּרand-Asshurוְאַרְפַּכְשַׁדand-Arphaxadוְלוּדand-Ludוַאֲרָםand-Aramוְעוּץand-Uzוְחוּלand-Hulוְגֶתֶרand-Getherוָמֶשֶׁךְ׃and-Meshech

    The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18. 18

    וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁדand-Arphaxadיָלַדbegatאֶת־שָׁלַחShelahוְשֶׁלַחand-Shelahיָלַדbegatאֶת־עֵבֶר׃Eber

    And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19. 19

    וּלְעֵבֶרand-to-Eberיֻלַּדwere-bornשְׁנֵיtwoבָנִיםsonsשֵׁםthe-name-ofהָאֶחָדthe-oneפֶּלֶגPelegכִּיbecauseבְיָמָיוin-his-daysנִפְלְגָהwas-dividedהָאָרֶץthe-earthוְשֵׁםand-the-name-ofאָחִיוhis-brotherיׇקְטָן׃Joktan

    And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

20. 20

    וְיׇקְטָןand-Joktanיָלַדbegatאֶת־אַלְמוֹדָדAlmodadוְאֶת־שָׁלֶףand-Shelephוְאֶת־חֲצַרְמָוֶתand-Hazarmavethוְאֶת־יָרַח׃and-Jerah

    And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

21. 21

    וְאֶת־הֲדוֹרָםand-Hadoramוְאֶת־אוּזָלand-Uzalוְאֶת־דִּקְלָה׃and-Diklah

    Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,

22. 22

    וְאֶת־עֵיבָלand-Ebalוְאֶת־אֲבִימָאֵלand-Abimaelוְאֶת־שְׁבָא׃and-Sheba

    And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

23. 23

    וְאֶת־אוֹפִירand-Ophirוְאֶת־חֲוִילָהand-Havilahוְאֶת־יוֹבָבand-Jobabכׇּל־אֵלֶּהall-theseבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofיׇקְטָן׃Joktan

    And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

24. 24

    שֵׁםShemאַרְפַּכְשַׁדArphaxadשָׁלַח׃Shelah

    Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

25. 25

    עֵבֶרEberפֶּלֶגPelegרְעוּ׃Reu

    Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26. 26

    שְׂרוּגSerugנָחוֹרNahorתָּרַח׃Terah

    Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27. 27

    אַבְרָםAbramהוּאthe-same-isאַבְרָהָם׃Abraham

    Abram; the same is Abraham.

28. 28

    בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofאַבְרָהָםAbrahamיִצְחָקIsaacוְיִשְׁמָעֵאל׃and-Ishmael

    The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.

29. 29

    אֵלֶּהtheseתֹּלְדוֹתָםtheir-generationsבְּכוֹרthe-firstborn-ofיִשְׁמָעֵאלIshmaelנְבָיוֹתNebaiothוְקֵדָרand-Kedarוְאַדְבְּאֵלand-Adbeelוּמִבְשָׂם׃and-Mibsam

    These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

30. 30

    מִשְׁמָעMishmaוְדוּמָהand-DumahמַשָּׂאMassaחֲדַדHadadוְתֵימָא׃and-Tema

    Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

31. 31

    יְטוּרJeturנָפִישׁNaphishוָקֵדְמָהand-Kedemahאֵלֶּהtheseהֵםtheyבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofיִשְׁמָעֵאל׃Ishmael

    Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

32. 32

    וּבְנֵיand-sons-ofקְטוּרָהKeturahפִּילֶגֶשׁthe-concubine-ofאַבְרָהָםAbrahamיָלְדָהshe-boreאֶת־זִמְרָןZimranוְיׇקְשָׁןand-Jokshanוּמְדָןand-Medanוּמִדְיָןand-Midianוְיִשְׁבָּקand-Ishbakוְשׁוּחַand-Shuahוּבְנֵיand-sons-ofיׇקְשָׁןJokshanשְׁבָאShebaוּדְדָן׃and-Dedan

    Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.

33. 33

    וּבְנֵיand-sons-ofמִדְיָןMidianעֵיפָהEphahוָעֵפֶרand-Epherוַחֲנוֹךְand-Hanochוַאֲבִידָעand-Abidaוְאֶלְדָּעָהand-Eldaahכׇּל־אֵלֶּהall-theseבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofקְטוּרָה׃Keturah

    And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

34. 34

    וַיּוֹלֶדand-begatאַבְרָהָםAbrahamאֶת־יִצְחָקIsaacבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofיִצְחָקIsaacעֵשָׂוEsauוְיִשְׂרָאֵל׃and-Israel

    And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.

35. 35

    בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofעֵשָׂוEsauאֱלִיפַזEliphazרְעוּאֵלReuelוִיעוּשׁand-Jeushוְיַעְלָםand-Jaalamוְקֹרַח׃and-Korah

    The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

36. 36

    בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofאֱלִיפָזEliphazתֵּימָןTemanוְאוֹמָרand-OmarצְפִיZephiוְגַעְתָּםand-GatamקְנַזKenazוְתִמְנָעand-Timnaוַעֲמָלֵק׃and-Amalek

    The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37. 37

    בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofרְעוּאֵלReuelנַחַתNahathזֶרַחZerahשַׁמָּהShammahוּמִזָּה׃and-Mizzah

    The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38. 38

    וּבְנֵיand-sons-ofשֵׂעִירSeirלוֹטָןLotanוְשׁוֹבָלand-Shobalוְצִבְעוֹןand-Zibeonוַעֲנָהand-Anahוְדִישֹׁןand-Dishonוְאֵצֶרand-Ezerוְדִישָׁן׃and-Dishan

    And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

39. 39

    וּבְנֵיand-sons-ofלוֹטָןLotanחֹרִיHoriוְהוֹמָםand-Homamוַאֲחוֹתand-the-sister-ofלוֹטָןLotanתִּמְנָע׃Timnah

    And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.

40. 40

    בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofשׁוֹבָלShobalעַלְיָןAlyanוּמָנַחַתand-Manahathוְעֵיבָלand-EbalשְׁפִיShephiוְאוֹנָםand-Onamוּבְנֵיand-sons-ofצִבְעוֹןZibeonאַיָּהAiahוַעֲנָה׃and-Anah

    The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.

41. 41

    בְּנֵיthe-sons-ofעֲנָהAnahדִּישׁוֹןDishonוּבְנֵיand-sons-ofדִישׁוֹןDishonחַמְרָןHamranוְאֶשְׁבָּןand-Eshbanוְיִתְרָןand-Ithranוּכְרָן׃and-Cheran

    The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42. 42

    בְּנֵי־אֵצֶרsons-of-EzerבִּלְהָןBilhanוְזַעֲוָןand-ZaavanיַעֲקָןJaakanבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofדִישׁוֹןDishonעוּץUzוַאֲרָן׃and-Aran

    The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.

43. 43

    וְאֵלֶּהand-theseהַמְּלָכִיםthe-kingsאֲשֶׁרwhichמָלְכוּthey-reignedבְּאֶרֶץin-the-land-ofאֱדוֹםEdomלִפְנֵיbeforeמְלׇךְ־מֶלֶךְany-king-reignedלִבְנֵיover-the-children-ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelבֶּלַעBelaבֶּן־בְּעוֹרson-of-Beorוְשֵׁםand-the-name-ofעִירוֹhis-cityדִּנְהָבָה׃Dinhabah

    Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44. 44

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedבָּלַעBelaוַיִּמְלֹךְand-he-did-reignתַּחְתָּיוin-his-steadיוֹבָבJobabבֶּן־זֶרַחson-of-Zerahמִבׇּצְרָה׃of-Bozrah

    And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45. 45

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedיוֹבָבJobabוַיִּמְלֹךְand-he-did-reignתַּחְתָּיוin-his-steadחוּשָׁםHushamמֵאֶרֶץfrom-the-land-ofהַתֵּימָנִי׃the-Temanite

    And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46. 46

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedחוּשָׁםHushamוַיִּמְלֹךְand-he-did-reignתַּחְתָּיוin-his-steadהֲדַדHadadבֶּן־בְּדַדson-of-Bedadהַמַּכֶּהthe-one-strikingאֶת־מִדְיָןMidianבִּשְׂדֵהin-the-field-ofמוֹאָבMoabוְשֵׁםand-the-name-ofעִירוֹhis-city[עֲוִית]׃Avith

    And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

47. 47

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedהֲדָדHadadוַיִּמְלֹךְand-he-did-reignתַּחְתָּיוin-his-steadשַׂמְלָהSamlahמִמַּשְׂרֵקָה׃of-Masrekah

    And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48. 48

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedשַׂמְלָהSamlahוַיִּמְלֹךְand-he-did-reignתַּחְתָּיוin-his-steadשָׁאוּלSaulמֵרְחֹבוֹתof-Rehobothהַנָּהָר׃by-the-river

    And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

49. 49

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedשָׁאוּלSaulוַיִּמְלֹךְand-he-did-reignתַּחְתָּיוin-his-steadבַּעַלBaal-חָנָןhananבֶּן־עַכְבּוֹר׃son-of-Achbor

    And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

50. 50

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedבַּעַלBaal-חָנָןhananוַיִּמְלֹךְand-he-did-reignתַּחְתָּיוin-his-steadהֲדַדHadadוְשֵׁםand-the-name-ofעִירוֹhis-cityפָּעִיPaiוְשֵׁםand-the-name-ofאִשְׁתּוֹhis-wifeמְהֵיטַבְאֵלMehetabelבַּת־מַטְרֵדdaughter-of-Matredבַּתthe-daughter-ofמֵיMe-זָהָב׃zahab

    And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

51. 51

    וַיָּמׇתand-he-diedהֲדָדHadadוַיִּהְיוּand-they-wereאַלּוּפֵיchiefs-ofאֱדוֹםEdomאַלּוּףchiefתִּמְנָעTimnahאַלּוּףchief(עליה)[עַלְוָה]Alvahאַלּוּףchiefיְתֵת׃Jetheth

    Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

52. 52

    אַלּוּףchiefאׇהֳלִיבָמָהAholibamahאַלּוּףchiefאֵלָהElahאַלּוּףchiefפִּינֹן׃Pinon

    Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

53. 53

    אַלּוּףchiefקְנַזKenazאַלּוּףchiefתֵּימָןTemanאַלּוּףchiefמִבְצָר׃Mibzar

    Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

54. 54

    אַלּוּףchiefמַגְדִּיאֵלMagdielאַלּוּףchiefעִירָםIramאֵלֶּהtheseאַלּוּפֵיchiefs-ofאֱדוֹם׃Edom

    Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
