1. 4

   וַיִּבֶןand-builtנֹחַNoahמִזְבֵּחַan-altarלַיהוָהto-the-LORDוַיִּקַּחand-tookמִכֹּלfrom-everyהַבְּהֵמָהthe-beastהַטְּהוֹרָהthe-cleanוּמִכֹּלand-from-everyהָעוֹףthe-fowlהַטָּהוֹרthe-cleanוַיַּעַלand-he-offeredעֹלוֹתburnt-offeringsעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַupon-the-altarוַיּוֹדֶהand-he-gave-thanksלַיהוָהto-the-LORDוַיִּשְׂמַחand-he-rejoicedבְּלִבּוֹ׃in-his-heart

   And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord, and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar; and gave thanks unto the Lord, and rejoiced in his heart.

   וַיְדַבֵּרand-spokeיְהוָהthe-LORDאֶל־נֹחַunto-Noahוַיְבָרֶךְand-blessedאֹתוֹhimוַיָּרַחand-smelledנֹחַNoahרֵיחַa-savorנִיחוֹחַsweetוַיֹּאמֶרand-he-saidבְּלִבּוֹ׃in-his-heart

   And the Lord spake unto Noah, and he blessed him. And Noah smelled a sweet savor, and he said in his heart;

   אֶקְרָאI-will-callבְּשֵׁםupon-the-name-ofיְהוָהthe-LORDאֲשֶׁרthatלֹאnotיְקַלֵּלhe-will-curseעוֹדagainאֶת־הָאֲדָמָהthe-groundבַּעֲבוּרfor-sake-ofהָאָדָםthe-manכִּיforיֵצֶרthe-imagination-ofלֵבthe-heart-ofהָאָדָםthe-manרַעevilמִנְּעֻרָיוfrom-his-youthוַאֲשֶׁרand-thatלֹאnotיַכֶּהhe-will-smiteעוֹדagainאֶת־כׇּל־חַיall-livingכַּאֲשֶׁרasעָשָׂהhe-has-doneבְּעוֹדwhileהָאָרֶץthe-earthקָיֶּמֶת׃remains

   I will call on the name of the Lord, that he will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; and that he will not again smite any more every thing living, as he hath done, while the earth remaineth;

   אַךְbutדַּםthe-blood-ofכׇּל־בָּשָׂרall-fleshאֲשֶׁרwhichנָתַתִּיI-have-givenלָכֶםto-youלְאׇכְלָהfor-foodיִשָּׁפֵךְshall-be-shedעַל־הָאָרֶץupon-the-groundאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹקֵחַtakesנֶפֶשׁlifeמִמֶּנּוּfrom-itוְאֶת־הַדָּםand-the-bloodלֹאnotתֹאכֵלוּ׃shall-you-eat

   But, the blood of all flesh which I have given you for meat, shall be shed upon the ground, which taketh life thereof, and the blood ye shall not eat.

5. 11

   וְאָכֵןand-surelyדָּםbloodלֹאnotיִשָּׁפֵךְshall-be-shedכִּיexceptאִםifלְאׇכְלָהfor-foodלְהַצִּילto-saveאֶת־חַיֵּיכֶםyour-livesוְאֶת־דַּםand-the-blood-ofכׇּל־בְּהֵמָהevery-beastאֶדְרֹשׁI-will-requireמִיֶּדְכֶם׃from-your-hands

   And surely, blood shall not be shed, only for meat, to save your lives; and the blood of every beast will I require at your hands.

6. 12

   וְשֹׁפֵךְand-whoever-shedsדַּםthe-blood-ofהָאָדָםthe-manבָּאָדָםby-manדָּמוֹhis-bloodיִשָּׁפֵךְshall-be-shedכִּיforהָאָדָםthe-manלֹאshall-notיִשְׁפֹּךְshedאֶת־דַּםthe-blood-ofהָאָדָם׃the-man

   And whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed; for man shall not shed the blood of man.

7. 13

   כִּיforמִצְוָהa-commandmentאֲנִיIנֹתֵןgiveאֲשֶׁרthatאֲחִיthe-brother-ofכׇּל־אִישׁevery-manיִשְׁמֹרshall-preserveאֶת־חַיֵּיthe-life-ofהָאָדָםthe-manכִּיforבְּצַלְמִיin-mine-own-imageעָשִׂיתִיI-have-madeאֶת־הָאָדָם׃the-man

   For a commandment I give, that every man’s brother shall preserve the life of man, for in mine own image have I made man.

8. 14

   וּמִצְוָהand-a-commandmentאֲנִיIנֹתֵןgiveלָכֶםunto-youפְּרוּbe-fruitfulוּרְבוּand-multiplyהַרְבּוּbring-forth-abundantlyעַל־הָאָרֶץupon-the-earthוּרְבוּand-multiplyבָּהּ׃therein

   And a commandment I give unto you, Be ye fruitful and multiply; bring forth abundantly on the earth, and multiply therein.

9. 15

   וַיְדַבֵּרand-spokeאֱלֹהִיםGodאֶל־נֹחַunto-Noahוְאֶל־בָּנָיוand-unto-his-sonsאִתּוֹwith-himלֵאמֹרsayingוַאֲנִיand-Iהִנְנִיbeholdמֵקִיםestablishingאֶת־בְּרִיתִיmy-covenantאִתְּכֶםwith-youאֲשֶׁרwhichכָּרַתִּיI-madeעִםwithאֲבִיכֶםyour-fatherחֲנוֹךְEnochעַל־אוֹדוֹתconcerningזַרְעֲכֶםyour-seedאַחֲרֵיכֶם׃after-you

   And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, And I, behold, I will establish my covenant with you, which I made unto your father Enoch, concerning your seed after you.

10. 21

    וְהָיְתָהand-shall-beהַקֶּשֶׁתthe-bowבֶּעָנָןin-the-cloudוְאֶרְאֶהָand-I-will-look-upon-itלִזְכֹּרto-rememberאֶת־בְּרִיתthe-covenant-ofעוֹלָםeverlastingאֲשֶׁרwhichכָּרַתִּיI-madeעִםwithאָבִיךָyour-fatherחֲנוֹךְEnochכִּיthatבִּשְׁמֹרwhen-keepingבְּנֵיthe-sons-ofהָאָדָםthe-menאֶת־כׇּלallמִצְוֹתַיmy-commandmentsצִיּוֹןZionתָּשׁוּבshall-returnעַל־הָאָרֶץupon-the-earthעִירthe-city-ofחֲנוֹךְEnochאֲשֶׁרwhichלָקַחְתִּיI-caught-upאֵלַי׃unto-myself

    And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant, which I made unto thy father Enoch; that, when men should keep all my commandments, Zion should again come on the earth, the city of Enoch which I have caught up unto myself.

11. 22

    וְזֹאתand-this-isבְּרִיתִיmy-covenant-ofעוֹלָםeverlastingכִּיthatבְּאַחֵזwhen-embracesזַרְעֲךָyour-posterityאֶת־הָאֱמֶתthe-truthוּמַבִּיטand-looksלְמַעְלָהupwardאָזthenצִיּוֹןZionתַּבִּיטshall-lookלְמַטָּהdownwardוְכׇלand-allהַשָּׁמַיִםthe-heavensיִרְעֲדוּshall-shakeבְּגִילָהwith-gladnessוְהָאָרֶץand-the-earthתִּרְעַדshall-trembleבְּשִׂמְחָה׃with-joy

    And this is mine everlasting covenant, that when thy posterity shall embrace the truth, and look upward, then shall Zion look downward, and all the heavens shall shake with gladness, and the earth shall tremble with joy;

12. 23

    וַעֲצֶרֶתand-the-general-assembly-ofכְּנֵסִיַּתthe-church-ofהַבְּכוֹרthe-Firstbornיֵרֵדshall-come-downמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםout-of-the-heavenוְיִירַשׁand-shall-possessאֶת־הָאָרֶץthe-earthוְיִהְיֶהand-shall-haveלָהֶםto-themמָקוֹםplaceעַדuntilבּוֹאthe-coming-ofהַקֵּץthe-endוְזֹאתand-this-isבְּרִיתִיmy-covenant-ofעוֹלָםeverlastingאֲשֶׁרwhichכָּרַתִּיI-madeעִםwithאָבִיךָyour-fatherחֲנוֹךְ׃Enoch

    And the general assembly of the church of the firstborn shall come down out of heaven, and possess the earth, and shall have place until the end come. And this is mine everlasting covenant, which I made with thy father Enoch.

13. 24

    וְהָיְתָהand-shall-beהַקֶּשֶׁתthe-bowבֶּעָנָןin-the-cloudוַאֲקִיםand-I-will-establishאֶת־בְּרִיתִיmy-covenantאֵלֶיךָunto-youאֲשֶׁרwhichכָּרַתִּיI-have-madeבֵּינִיbetween-meוּבֵינֶיךָand-between-youלְכׇלfor-everyנֶפֶשׁcreatureחַיָּהlivingמִכׇּלof-allבָּשָׂרfleshאֲשֶׁרthat-shall-beעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃upon-the-earth

    And the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will establish my covenant unto thee, which I have made between me and thee, for every living creature of all flesh that shall be upon the earth.

14. 25

    וַיֹּאמֶרand-saidאֱלֹהִיםGodאֶל־נֹחַunto-Noahזֹאתthis-isאוֹתthe-token-ofהַבְּרִיתthe-covenantאֲשֶׁרwhichהֲקִמֹתִיI-have-establishedבֵּינִיbetween-meוּבֵינֶיךָand-between-youלְכׇלfor-allבָּשָׂרfleshאֲשֶׁרthat-shall-beעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃upon-the-earth

    And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and thee; for all flesh that shall be upon the earth.
