   עַל־כֵּןbecause-of-thisבֻּשְּׂרָהis-preachedהַבְּשׂוֹרָהthe-gospelלַמֵּתִיםto-them-who-are-deadלְמַעַןthatיִשָּׁפְטוּthey-might-be-judgedכִּבְנֵי־אָדָםaccording-to-menבַּבָּשָׂרin-the-fleshוְיִחְיוּbut-liveבָּרוּחַin-the-spiritכִּרְצוֹןaccording-to-the-will-ofאֱלֹהִים׃God

   Because of this, is the gospel preached to them who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live in the spirit according to the will of God.

   וְקֹדֶםand-aboveכׇּל־דָּבָרall-thingsיְהִיhaveלָכֶםyouחֶסֶדcharityעַזferventאִישׁamongאֶל־אָחִיוyourselvesכִּיforהַחֶסֶדcharityיִמְנַעpreventethרֹבa-multitude-ofחֲטָאִים׃sins

   And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves; for charity preventeth a multitude of sins.
