   And again, verily I say unto you, my friends, a commandment I give unto you, that ye shall commence a work of laying out and preparing a beginning and foundation of the city of the stake of Zion, here in the land of Kirtland, beginning at my house.

   וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdיֵעָשֶׂהye/a/SEit must be doneכַּתַּבְנִיתkat/tav/NITaccording to the patternאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

   And behold, it must be done according to the pattern which I have given unto you.

   וְהַמִּגְרָשׁve/ham/mig/RASHand let the lotהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONfirstבַּדָּרוֹםbad/da/ROMon the southיֻקְדַּשׁyuk/DASHbe consecratedלִיliunto meלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTfor the buildingבַּיִתBA/yitof a houseלַנְּשִׂיאוּתlan/ne/si/UTfor the presidencyלַעֲבוֹדַתla/a/vo/DATfor the workהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/ne/si/UTof the presidencyלְקַבֵּלle/kab/BELin obtainingחֲזוֹנוֹתcha/zo/NOTrevelationsוְלִמְלֶאכֶתve/lim/LE/khetand for the workעֲבוֹדַתa/vo/DATof the ministryהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/ne/si/UTof the presidencyבְּכׇל־עִנְיְנֵיbe/KHOL-in/ye/NEin all things pertaining toהַכְּנֵסִיָּהhak/ke/ne/siy/YAthe churchוְהַמַּלְכוּת׃ve/ham/mal/KHUTand kingdom

   And let the first lot on the south be consecrated unto me for the building of a house for the presidency, for the work of the presidency, in obtaining revelations; and for the work of the ministry of the presidency, in all things pertaining to the church and kingdom.

   אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youיִבָּנֶהyib/ba/NEthat it shall be builtחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveעַלalbyשִׁשִּׁיםshish/SHIMsixtyוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveרֶגֶלRE/gelfeetבְּרׇחְבּוֹbe/roch/BOin the width thereofוּבְאׇרְכּוֹu/ve/or/KOand in the length thereofבֶּחָצֵרbe/cha/TSERin the courtהַפְּנִימִית׃hap/pe/ni/MITinner

   Verily I say unto you, that it shall be built fifty-five by sixty-five feet in the width thereof and in the length thereof, in the inner court.

   וְיִהְיֶהve/yih/YEand there shall beחָצֵרcha/TSERa courtתַּחְתּוֹןtach/TONlowerוְחָצֵרve/cha/TSERand a courtעֶלְיוֹןel/YONhigherכַּתַּבְנִיתkat/tav/NITaccording to the patternאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתִּנָּתֵןtin/na/TENshall be givenלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאַחֲרֵי־כֵן׃a/cha/RE-khenhereafter

   And there shall be a lower court and a higher court, according to the pattern which shall be given unto you hereafter.

   וְיֻקְדַּשׁve/yuk/DASHand it shall be dedicatedלַיהוָהla-Adonaiunto the Lordמִיְּסוֹדוֹmiy/ye/so/DOfrom the foundation thereofכְּסֵדֶרke/SE/deraccording to the orderהַכְּהֻנָּהhak/ke/hun/NAof the priesthoodכַּתַּבְנִיתkat/tav/NITaccording to the patternאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתִּנָּתֵןtin/na/TENshall be givenלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאַחֲרֵי־כֵן׃a/cha/RE-khenhereafter

   And it shall be dedicated unto the Lord from the foundation thereof, according to the order of the priesthood, according to the pattern which shall be given unto you hereafter.

   וְיֻקְדַּשׁve/yuk/DASHand it shall be dedicatedכֻּלּוֹkul/LOwhollyלַיהוָהla-Adonaiunto the Lordלַעֲבוֹדַתla/a/vo/DATfor the workהַנְּשִׂיאוּת׃han/ne/si/UTof the presidency

   And it shall be wholly dedicated unto the Lord for the work of the presidency.

8. 8

   וְלֹאve/LOand notתַנִּיחוּtan/ni/CHUyou shall sufferדָבָרda/VARthingטָמֵאta/MEany uncleanלָבוֹאla/VOto come inבוֹvounto itוּכְבוֹדִיu/khe/vo/DIand my gloryיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beשָׁםshamthereוּפָנַיu/fa/NAYand my presenceיִהְיוּyih/YUshall beשָׁם׃shamthere

   And ye shall not suffer any unclean thing to come in unto it; and my glory shall be there, and my presence shall be there.

9. 9

   אַךְakhbutאִםimifיָבוֹאya/VOthere shall comeבוֹvointo itדָבָרda/VARthingטָמֵאta/MEany uncleanלֹאlonotיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beכְבוֹדִיkhe/vo/DImy gloryשָׁםshamthereוּפָנַיu/fa/NAYand my presenceלֹאlonotיָבֹאוּya/VO/ushall comeבוֹ׃vointo it

   But if there shall come into it any unclean thing, my glory shall not be there; and my presence shall not come into it.

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youהַמִּגְרָשׁham/mig/RASHthe lotהַשֵּׁנִיhash/she/NIsecondבַּדָּרוֹםbad/da/ROMon the southיֻקְדַּשׁyuk/DASHshall be dedicatedלִיliunto meלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTfor the building ofלִיliunto meבַּיִתBA/yita houseלַעֲבוֹדַתla/a/vo/DATfor the workהַדְּפוּסhad/de/FUSof the printingלְתַרְגּוּםle/tar/GUMof the translationכְּתוּבַיke/tu/VAYof my scripturesוּלְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרu/le/KHOL-a/SHERand all things whatsoeverאֲצַוֶּהa/tsav/VEI shall commandאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    And again, verily I say unto you, the second lot on the south shall be dedicated unto me for the building of a house unto me, for the work of the printing of the translation of my scriptures, and all things whatsoever I shall command you.

    וְיִהְיֶהve/yih/YEand it shall beחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveעַלalbyשִׁשִּׁיםshish/SHIMsixtyוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveרֶגֶלRE/gelfeetבְּרׇחְבּוֹbe/roch/BOin the width thereofוּבְאׇרְכּוֹu/ve/or/KOand the length thereofבֶּחָצֵרbe/cha/TSERin the courtהַפְּנִימִיתhap/pe/ni/MITinnerוְיִהְיֶהve/yih/YEand there shall beחָצֵרcha/TSERa courtתַּחְתּוֹןtach/TONlowerוְעֶלְיוֹן׃ve/el/YONand a higher

    And it shall be fifty-five by sixty-five feet in the width thereof and the length thereof, in the inner court; and there shall be a lower and a higher court.

    וְהַבַּיִתve/hab/BA/yitand houseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיֻקְדַּשׁyuk/DASHshall be dedicatedכֻּלּוֹkul/LOwhollyלַיהוָהla-Adonaiunto the Lordמִיְּסוֹדוֹmiy/ye/so/DOfrom the foundation thereofלַעֲבוֹדַתla/a/vo/DATfor the workהַדְּפוּסhad/de/FUSof the printingבְּכׇל־אֲשֶׁרbe/KHOL-a/SHERin all things whatsoeverאֲצַוֶּהa/tsav/VEI shall commandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyוְטָהוֹרve/ta/HORundefiledכַּתַּבְנִיתkat/tav/NITaccording to the patternבַּכֹּלbak/KOLin all thingsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasתִּנָּתֵןtin/na/TENit shall be givenלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    And this house shall be wholly dedicated unto the Lord from the foundation thereof, for the work of the printing, in all things whatsoever I shall command you, to be holy, undefiled, according to the pattern in all things as it shall be given unto you.

13. 13

    וּבַמִּגְרָשׁu/vam/mig/RASHand on the lotהַשְּׁלִישִׁיhash/she/li/SHIthirdיְקַבֵּלye/kab/BELshall receiveעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantחִירָםChi/RAMHyrumסְמִיתSe/MITSmithאֶת־נַחֲלָתוֹ׃et-na/cha/la/TOhis inheritance

    And on the third lot shall my servant Hyrum Smith receive his inheritance.

14. 14

    וּבַמִּגְרָשׁu/vam/mig/RASHand on the lotsהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONfirstוְהַשֵּׁנִיve/hash/she/NIand secondבַּצָּפוֹןbats/tsa/FONon the northיְקַבְּלוּye/kab/be/LUshall receiveעֲבָדַיa/va/DAYmy servantsרֵינוֹלְדְסRe/NOLDSReynoldsקָהוּןKa/HUNCahoonוְיֶרֶדve/YE/redand JaredקַרְטֶרKar/TERCarterאֶת־נַחֲלָתָם׃et-na/cha/la/TAMtheir inheritances

    And on the first and second lots on the north shall my servants Reynolds Cahoon and Jared Carter receive their inheritances—

15. 15

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיַעֲשׂוּya/a/SUthey may doאֶת־הַמְּלָאכָהet-ham/me/la/KHAthe workאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichמִנִּיתִיםmin/ni/TIMI appointed unto themלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beפְּקֻדִיםpe/ku/DIMa committeeלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildאֶת־בָּתַּיet-bat/TAYmy housesכַּמִּצְוָהkam/mits/VAaccording to the commandmentאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tigaveאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMunto you

    That they may do the work which I have appointed unto them, to be a committee to build mine houses, according to the commandment, which I, the Lord God, have given unto you.

16. 16

    שְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoהַבָּתִּיםhab/bat/TIMhousesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלֹאlonotיִבָּנוּyib/ba/NUare to be builtעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֶתֵּןet/TENI giveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמִצְוָהmits/VAa commandmentעֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMconcerning them

    These two houses are not to be built until I give unto you a commandment concerning them.

17. 17

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niI notנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouעוֹדodany moreבָּעֵתba/ETat the timeהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    And now I give unto you no more at this time. Amen.
