   Verily, thus saith the Lord: It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments, shall see my face and know that I am;

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand that I amהָאוֹרha/ORthe lightהָאֲמִתִּיha/a/mit/TItrueהַמֵּאִירham/ME/irthat lightsלְכׇל־אָדָםle/KHOL-a/DAMevery manהַבָּאhab/BAthat comesלָעוֹלָם׃la/o/LAMinto the world

   And that I am the true light that lighteth every man that cometh into the world;

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand that I amבָאָבVa/AVin the Fatherוְהָאָבve/Ha/AVand the Fatherבִּיbiin meוְהָאָבve/Ha/AVand the Fatherוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֶחָד׃e/CHADare one

   And that I am in the Father, and the Father in me, and the Father and I are one—

   The Father because he gave me of his fulness, and the Son because I was in the world and made flesh my tabernacle, and dwelt among the sons of men.

   I was in the world and received of my Father, and the works of him were plainly manifest.

   And John saw and bore record of the fulness of my glory, and the fulness of John's record is hereafter to be revealed.

   And he bore record, saying: I saw his glory, that he was in the beginning, before the world was;

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeבָּרֵאשִׁיתba/re/SHITin the beginningהָיָהha/YAwasהַדָּבָרhad/Da/VARthe Wordכִּיkiforהוּאhuheהָיָהha/YAwasהַדָּבָרhad/Da/VARthe Wordגַּםgamevenמַלְאַךְmal/AKHthe messengerהַיְשׁוּעָה׃hay/shu/Aof salvation

   Therefore, in the beginning the Word was, for he was the Word, even the messenger of salvation—

   The light and the Redeemer of the world; the Spirit of truth, who came into the world, because the world was made by him, and in him was the life of men and the light of men.

    The worlds were made by him; men were made by him; all things were made by him, and through him, and of him.

    And I, John, bear record that I beheld his glory, as the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth, even the Spirit of truth, which came and dwelt in the flesh, and dwelt among us.

    And I, John, saw that he received not of the fulness at the first, but received grace for grace;

    וְלֹאve/LOand notקִבֵּלkib/BELhe receivedמִמְּלֹאוֹmim/me/lo/Oof the fulnessבָּרִאשׁוֹנָהba/ri/sho/NAat firstכִּי־אִםki-imbutהָלַךְha/LAKHcontinuedמֵחֶסֶדme/CHE/sedfrom graceאֶל־חֶסֶדel-CHE/sedto graceעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatקִבֵּלkib/BELhe receivedמְלֹא׃me/LOa fulness

    And he received not of the fulness at first, but continued from grace to grace, until he received a fulness;

    וְכֵןve/KHENand thusנִקְרָאnik/RAhe was calledבֶן־אֱלֹהִיםven-E/lo/HIMthe Son of Godכִּיkibecauseלֹאlonotקִבֵּלkib/BELhe receivedמִמְּלֹאוֹmim/me/lo/Oof the fulnessבָּרִאשׁוֹנָה׃ba/ri/sho/NAat the first

    And thus he was called the Son of God, because he received not of the fulness at the first.

    And I, John, bear record, and lo, the heavens were opened, and the Holy Ghost descended upon him in the form of a dove, and sat upon him, and there came a voice out of heaven saying: This is my beloved Son.

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand IיוֹחָנָןYo/cha/NANJohnמֵעִידme/IDbear recordכִּיkithatקִבֵּלkib/BELhe receivedמְלֹאme/LOa fulnessכְּבוֹדke/VODof the gloryהָאָב׃ha/AVof the Father

    And I, John, bear record that he received a fulness of the glory of the Father;

17. 17

    וַיְקַבֵּלvay/kab/BELand he receivedכׇּל־כֹּחַkol-KO/achall powerגַּםgambothבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin heavenוְגַםve/GAMandבָּאָרֶץba/A/retson earthוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the gloryהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherהָיָהha/YAwasעִמּוֹim/MOwith himכִּיkiforשָׁכַןsha/KHANhe dweltבּוֹ׃boin him

    And he received all power, both in heaven and on earth, and the glory of the Father was with him, for he dwelt in him.

18. 18

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beאִםimthat ifנֶאֱמָנִיםne/e/ma/NIMfaithfulאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areתְּקַבְּלוּte/kab/be/LUyou shall receiveאֶת־מְלֹאet-me/LOthe fulnessעֵדוּתe/DUTof the recordיוֹחָנָן׃Yo/cha/NANof John

    And it shall come to pass, that if you are faithful you shall receive the fulness of the record of John.

19. 19

    אֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe sayingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתָּבִינוּta/VI/nuyou may understandוְתֵדְעוּve/ted/Uand knowאֵיךְekhhowלְהִשְׁתַּחֲווֹתle/hish/ta/cha/VOTto worshipוְתֵדְעוּve/ted/Uand knowאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatלוֹloto whomאַתֶּםat/TEMyouמִשְׁתַּחֲוִיםmish/ta/cha/VIMworshipלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתָּבֹאוּta/VO/uyou may comeאֶל־הָאָבel-Ha/AVunto the Fatherבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameוּבְעִתּוֹu/ve/it/TOand in due timeתְּקַבְּלוּte/kab/be/LUreceiveמִמְּלֹאוֹ׃mim/me/lo/Oof his fulness

    I give unto you these sayings that you may understand and know how to worship, and know what you worship, that you may come unto the Father in my name, and in due time receive of his fulness.

20. 20

    כִּיkiforאִםimifתִּשְׁמְרוּtish/me/RUyou keepמִצְוֹתַיmits/vo/TAYmy commandmentsתְּקַבְּלוּte/kab/be/LUyou shall receiveמִמְּלֹאוֹmim/me/lo/Oof his fulnessוְתִכָּבְדוּve/tik/ka/ve/DUand be glorifiedבִיviin meכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאֲנִיa/NII amבָאָבVa/AVin the Fatherלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youתְּקַבְּלוּte/kab/be/LUyou shall receiveחֶסֶדCHE/sedgraceעַלalforחֶסֶד׃che/SEDgrace

    For if you keep my commandments you shall receive of his fulness, and be glorified in me as I am in the Father; therefore, I say unto you, you shall receive grace for grace.

21. 21

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI wasבָּרֵאשִׁיתba/re/SHITin the beginningעִםimwithהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand amהַבְּכוֹר׃hab/Be/KHORthe Firstborn

    And now, verily I say unto you, I was in the beginning with the Father, and am the Firstborn;

22. 22

    וְכׇל־הַנּוֹלָדִיםve/KHOL-han/no/la/DIMand all those who are begottenבְּיָדִיbe/ya/DIthrough meשֻׁתָּפִיםshut/ta/FIMare partakersבַּכָּבוֹדbak/ka/VODof the gloryהַהוּאha/HUof the sameוְהֵםve/HEMand areכְּנֵסִיַּתke/ne/siy/YATthe churchהַבְּכוֹר׃hab/Be/KHORof the Firstborn

    And all those who are begotten through me are partakers of the glory of the same, and are the church of the Firstborn.

23. 23

    גַּםgamalsoאַתֶּםat/TEMyouהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMwereבָּרֵאשִׁיתba/re/SHITin the beginningעִםimwithהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichרוּחַRU/achis Spiritהוּאhuwhich isגַּםgamevenרוּחַRU/achthe Spiritהָאֱמֶת׃ha/e/METof truth

    Ye were also in the beginning with the Father; that which is Spirit, even the Spirit of truth;

24. 24

    וְהָאֱמֶתve/ha/e/METand truthהִיאhiisדַּעַתDA/atknowledgeהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMof thingsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהֵםhemthey areוְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asהָיוּha/YUthey wereוְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asיִהְיוּ׃yih/YUthey are to come

    And truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come;

25. 25

    וְכׇל־יוֹתֵרve/KHOL-yo/TERand whatsoever is moreאוֹoorפָחוֹתfa/CHOTlessמִזֶּהmiz/ZEthan thisרוּחַRU/achis the spiritהָרָשָׁעha/ra/SHAof the wickedהַהוּאha/HUthat oneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoכַּזָּבkaz/ZAVa liarהוּאhuwasמֵרֵאשִׁית׃me/re/SHITfrom the beginning

    And whatsoever is more or less than this is the spirit of that wicked one who was a liar from the beginning.

    רוּחַRU/achthe Spiritהָאֱמֶתha/e/METof truthמֵאֱלֹהִיםme/e/lo/HIMof Godהִיאhiisאֲנִיa/NII amרוּחַRU/achthe Spiritהָאֱמֶתha/e/METof truthוְיוֹחָנָןve/Yo/cha/NANand Johnהֵעִידhe/IDbore recordעָלַיa/LAYof meלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהוּאhuheקִבֵּלkib/BELreceivedמְלֹאme/LOa fulnessאֱמֶתe/METof truthאַףafyea evenכׇּל־אֱמֶת׃kol-e/METof all truth

    The Spirit of truth is of God. I am the Spirit of truth, and John bore record of me, saying: He received a fulness of truth, yea, even of all truth;

27. 27

    וְאֵיןve/ENand noאִישׁishmanמְקַבֵּלme/kab/BELreceivesמְלֹאme/LOa fulnessכִּי־אִםki-imunlessשֹׁמֵרsho/MERhe keepsמִצְוֹתָיו׃mits/vo/TAYVhis commandments

    And no man receiveth a fulness unless he keepeth his commandments.

28. 28

    הַשֹּׁמֵרhash/sho/MERhe that keepsמִצְוֹתָיוmits/vo/TAYVhis commandmentsמְקַבֵּלme/kab/BELreceivesאֱמֶתe/METtruthוָאוֹרva/ORand lightעַדaduntilהִכָּבְדוֹhik/ka/ve/DOhe is glorifiedבֶּאֱמֶתbe/e/METin truthוְיָדַעve/ya/DAand knowsכׇּל־דָּבָר׃kol-da/VARall things

    He that keepeth his commandments receiveth truth and light, until he is glorified in truth and knoweth all things.

    גַּםgamalsoהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanהָיָהha/YAwasבָּרֵאשִׁיתba/re/SHITin the beginningעִםimwithאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodשֵׂכֶלSE/khelintelligenceאוֹoorאוֹרorthe lightהָאֱמֶתha/e/METof truthלֹאlonotנִבְרָאniv/RAwas createdוְלֹאve/LOorנַעֲשָׂהna/a/SAmadeוְאַף־לֹאve/AF-loneither indeedיוּכַל׃yu/KHALcan be

    Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.

    כׇּל־אֱמֶתkol-e/METall truthעוֹמֶדֶתo/ME/detisלְעַצְמָהּle/ats/MAindependentבַּגְּבוּלbag/ge/VULin that sphereאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichשָׂמָהּsa/MAplaced itאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלִפְעֹלlif/OLto actלְעַצְמָהּle/ats/MAfor itselfוְכֵןve/KHENas alsoכׇּל־שֵׂכֶלkol-SE/khelall intelligenceוְאִם־לֹאve/IM-lootherwiseאֵיןenthere is noקִיּוּם׃kiy/YUMexistence

    All truth is independent in that sphere in which God has placed it, to act for itself, as all intelligence also; otherwise there is no existence.

31. 31

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdזֹאתzothere isבְּחִירַתbe/chi/RATthe agencyהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof manוְזֹאתve/ZOTand here isאַשְׁמַתash/MATthe condemnationהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof manכִּיkibecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichהָיָהha/YAwasמֵרֵאשִׁיתme/re/SHITfrom the beginningגָּלוּיga/LUYis plainly manifestלָהֶםla/HEMunto themוְהֵםve/HEMand theyלֹאlonotמְקַבְּלִיםme/kab/be/LIMreceiveאֶת־הָאוֹר׃et-ha/ORthe light

    Behold, here is the agency of man, and here is the condemnation of man; because that which was from the beginning is plainly manifest unto them, and they receive not the light.

32. 32

    וְכׇל־אִישׁve/KHOL-ishand every manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseרוּחוֹru/CHOspiritלֹאlonotמְקַבֶּלֶתme/kab/BE/letreceivesאֶת־הָאוֹרet-ha/ORthe lightתַּחַתTA/chatunderהָאַשְׁמָהha/ash/MAcondemnationהוּא׃huis

    And every man whose spirit receiveth not the light is under condemnation.

33. 33

    כִּיkiforהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanרוּחַRU/achspiritהוּאhuisהַיְסֹדוֹתhay/so/DOTthe elementsהֵםhemareנִצְחִיִּיםnits/chiy/YIMeternalוְרוּחַve/RU/achand spiritוִיסוֹדvi/SODand elementמְחֻבָּרִיםme/chub/ba/RIMinseparably connectedיַחַדYA/chadtogetherלֹאlonotיִפָּרְדוּyip/pa/re/DUto be partedמְקַבְּלִיםme/kab/be/LIMreceiveמְלֹאme/LOa fulnessשִׂמְחָה׃sim/CHAof joy

    For man is spirit. The elements are eternal, and spirit and element, inseparably connected, receive a fulness of joy;

34. 34

    וּבְהִפָּרְדָםu/ve/hip/pa/re/DAMand when separatedאֵיןennotהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanיָכוֹלya/KHOLcanלְקַבֵּלle/kab/BELreceiveמְלֹאme/LOa fulnessשִׂמְחָה׃sim/CHAof joy

    And when separated, man cannot receive a fulness of joy.

35. 35

    הַיְסֹדוֹתhay/so/DOTthe elementsמִשְׁכַּןmish/KANare the tabernacleאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godהֵםhemthey areאָכֵןa/KHENyeaהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanמִשְׁכַּןmish/KANis the tabernacleאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godהוּאhuhe isגַּםgamevenהֵיכָלוֹתhe/kha/LOTtemplesוְכׇל־הֵיכָלve/KHOL-he/KHALand whatsoever templeהַמְחֻלָּלham/chul/LALis defiledיַשְׁמִידֶנּוּyash/mi/den/NUshall destroy that templeאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    The elements are the tabernacle of God; yea, man is the tabernacle of God, even temples; and whatsoever temple is defiled, God shall destroy that temple.

36. 36

    כְּבוֹדke/VODthe gloryאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof GodהוּאhuisשֵׂכֶלSE/khelintelligenceאוֹoorבְמִלִּיםve/mil/LIMin wordsאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherאוֹרorlightוֶאֱמֶת׃ve/e/METand truth

    The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth.

37. 37

    אוֹרorlightוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truthעֹזְבִיםoz/VIMforsakeאֶת־הָרָעet-ha/RAthat evilהַהוּא׃ha/HUone

    Light and truth forsake that evil one.

    Every spirit of man was innocent in the beginning; and God having redeemed man from the fall, men became again, in their infant state, innocent before God.

39. 39

    וְהָרָשָׁעve/ha/ra/SHAand wickedהַהוּאha/HUthat oneבָּאbacomesוְלֹקֵחַve/lo/KE/achand takes awayאוֹרorlightוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truthבְּמֶרִיbe/ME/rithrough disobedienceמִבְּנֵיmib/be/NEfrom the childrenאָדָםa/DAMof menוּבִגְלַלu/vig/LALand because ofמָסֹרֶתma/SO/retthe traditionאֲבוֹתֵיהֶם׃a/vo/te/HEMof their fathers

    And that wicked one cometh and taketh away light and truth, through disobedience, from the children of men, and because of the tradition of their fathers.

40. 40

    אַךְakhbutצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלְגַדֵּלle/gad/DELto bring upבְּנֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMyour childrenבְּאוֹרbe/ORin lightוּבֶאֱמֶת׃u/ve/e/METand truth

    But I have commanded you to bring up your children in light and truth.

41. 41

    אַךְakhbutאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְךָle/KHAunto youעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantפְרֶדֶרִיקFe/re/de/RIKFrederickג׳.gGוִילְיָמְסVi/le/YAMSWilliamsהָיִיתָha/YI/tayou continuedתַּחַתTA/chatunderהָאַשְׁמָהha/ash/MAcondemnationהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

    But verily I say unto you, my servant Frederick G. Williams, you have continued under this condemnation;

42. 42

    לֹאlonotלִמַּדְתָּlim/mad/TAyou taughtבָנֶיךָva/NE/khayour childrenאוֹרorlightוֶאֱמֶתve/e/METand truthכַּמִּצְוֹתkam/mits/VOTaccording to the commandmentsוְעוֹדve/ODand as yetלָרָשָׁעla/ra/SHAthat wickedהַהוּאha/HUoneמֶמְשָׁלָהmem/sha/LAhas powerעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaover youוְזֶהve/ZEand this isסִבַּתsib/BATthe causeצָרָתֶךָ׃tsa/ra/te/KHAof your affliction

    You have not taught your children light and truth, according to the commandments; and that wicked one hath power, as yet, over you, and this is the cause of your affliction.

43. 43

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowמִצְוָהmits/VAa commandmentאֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלְךָle/KHAyouאִםimifתַּחְפֹּץtach/POTSyou will beלְהִנָּצֵלle/hin/na/TSELdeliveredתַּקֵּןtak/KENyou shall set in orderאֶת־בֵּיתְךָet-be/te/KHAyour own houseכִּיkiforדְבָרִיםde/va/RIMthere are thingsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyאֵינָםe/NAMthat are notנְכוֹנִיםne/kho/NIMrightבְּבֵיתֶךָ׃be/ve/te/KHAin your house

    And now a commandment I give unto you—if you will be delivered you shall set in order your own house, for there are many things that are not right in your house.

44. 44

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְעַבְדִּיle/av/DIunto my servantסִידְנִיSi/de/NISidneyרִיגְדּוֹןRig/DONRigdonבִּדְבָרִיםbid/va/RIMthat in thingsאֲחָדִיםa/cha/DIMsomeלֹאlonotשָׁמַרsha/MARhe keptאֶת־הַמִּצְוֹתet-ham/mits/VOTthe commandmentsעַלalconcerningבָּנָיוba/NAYVhis childrenלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeרִאשׁוֹנָהri/sho/NAfirstתַּקֵּןtak/KENset in orderאֶת־בֵּיתֶךָ׃et-be/te/KHAyour house

    Verily, I say unto my servant Sidney Rigdon, that in some things he hath not kept the commandments concerning his children; therefore, first set in order thy house.

45. 45

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְעַבְדִּיle/av/DIunto my servantיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephסְמִיתSe/MITSmithהַבֵּןHab/BENJunאוֹoorבְמִלִּיםve/mil/LIMin wordsאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherאֶקְרָאek/RAI will callלָכֶםla/KHEMyouרֵעִיםre/IMfriendsכִּיkiforרֵעַיre/AYmy friendsאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areוְנַחֲלָהve/na/cha/LAand an inheritanceתִהְיֶהtih/YEyou shall haveלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youעִמִּי׃im/MIwith me

    Verily, I say unto my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., or in other words, I will call you friends, for you are my friends, and ye shall have an inheritance with me—

46. 46

    קָרָאתִיka/RA/tiI calledלָכֶםla/KHEMyouעֲבָדִיםa/va/DIMservantsלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand you areעֲבָדָיוa/va/DAYVtheir servantsלְמַעֲנִי׃le/ma/a/NIfor my sake

    I called you servants for the world's sake, and ye are their servants for my sake—

47. 47

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְיוֹסֵףle/Yo/SEFunto JosephסְמִיתSe/MITSmithהַבֵּןHab/BENJunלֹאlonotשָׁמַרְתָּsha/MAR/tayou keptאֶת־הַמִּצְוֹתet-ham/mits/VOTthe commandmentsוְעָלֶיךָve/a/LE/khaand must needsלַעֲמֹדla/a/MODyou standמוּכָחmu/KHACHrebukedלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord

    And now, verily I say unto Joseph Smith, Jun.—You have not kept the commandments, and must needs stand rebuked before the Lord;

48. 48

    מִשְׁפַּחְתְּךָmish/pach/te/KHAyour familyשׁוֹבshovmust needsתָּשׁוּבta/SHUVrepentוְלַעֲזֹבve/la/a/ZOVand forsakeדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMthingsאֲחָדִיםa/cha/DIMsomeוּלְהַקְשִׁיבu/le/hak/SHIVand give heedקֶשֶׁבKE/shevheedרַבravmore earnestלִדְבָרֶיךָlid/va/RE/khaunto your sayingsאוֹoorתוּסַרtu/SARbe removedמִמְּקוֹמָהּ׃mim/me/ko/MAout of their place

    Your family must needs repent and forsake some things, and give more earnest heed unto your sayings, or be removed out of their place.

49. 49

    אֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhatאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְאֶחָדle/e/CHADunto oneאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלַכֹּלlak/KOLunto allהִתְפַּלְּלוּhit/pal/le/LUprayתָמִידta/MIDalwaysפֶּןpenlestיִהְיֶהyih/YEhaveלָרָשָׁעla/ra/SHAthat wickedהַהוּאha/HUoneמֶמְשָׁלָהmem/sha/LApowerבָּכֶםba/KHEMin youוְהֵסִירve/he/SIRand removeאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִמְּקוֹמְכֶם׃mim/me/kom/KHEMout of your place

    What I say unto one I say unto all; pray always lest that wicked one have power in you, and remove you out of your place.

    גַּםgamalsoעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantנְיוּאֶלNe/yu/ELNewelק.kKוִיטְנִיVi/te/NIWhitneyפָּקִידpa/KIDa bishopכְּנֵסִיָּתִיke/ne/siy/ya/TIof my churchהִוָּסֵרhiv/va/SERhas needיִוָּסֵרyiv/va/SERto be chastenedוִיתַקֵּןvi/tak/KENand let him set in orderאֶת־בֵּיתוֹet-be/TOhis familyוְלִרְאוֹתve/lir/OTand seeכִּיkithatבְנֵיve/NEthe membersבֵיתוֹve/TOof his houseיִהְיוּyih/YUareשֹׁקְדִיםshok/DIMdiligentיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreוְשָׂמִיםve/sa/MIMand concernedלֵבlevin heartבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitat homeוְיִתְפַּלְלוּve/yit/pal/LUand prayתָמִידta/MIDalwaysאוֹoorיוּסְרוּyus/RUthey shall be removedמִמְּקוֹמָם׃mim/me/ko/MAMout of their place

    My servant Newel K. Whitney also, a bishop of my church, hath need to be chastened, and set in order his family, and see that they are more diligent and concerned at home, and pray always, or they shall be removed out of their place.

51. 51

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAnowאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youרֵעַיre/AYmy friendsיֵלֵךְye/LEKHlet goעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantסִידְנִיSi/de/NISidneyרִיגְדּוֹןRig/DONRigdonלְדַרְכּוֹle/dar/KOon his journeyוִימַהֵרvi/ma/HERand make hasteוְגַםve/GAMand alsoיַשְׁמִיעַyash/MI/aproclaimשְׁנַתshe/NATthe yearרָצוֹןra/TSONacceptableלַיהוָהla-Adonaiof the Lordוּבְשׂוֹרַתu/ve/so/RATand the gospelהַיְשׁוּעָהhay/shu/Aof salvationכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאֶתֵּןet/TENI shall giveבְּפִיוbe/FIVhim utteranceוּבִתְפִלַּתu/vit/fil/LATand by prayerאֱמוּנַתְכֶםe/mu/nat/KHEMof your faithבְּלֵבbe/LEVwith consentאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶסְעָדֶנּוּ׃es/a/den/NUI will uphold him

    Now, I say unto you, my friends, let my servant Sidney Rigdon go on his journey, and make haste, and also proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the gospel of salvation, as I shall give him utterance; and by your prayer of faith with one consent I will uphold him.

    וִימַהֲרוּvi/ma/ha/RUand let make hasteגַםgamalsoעֲבָדַיa/va/DAYmy servantsיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephסְמִיתSe/MITSmithהַבֵּןHab/BENJunוּפְרֶדֶרִיקu/Fe/re/de/RIKand Frederickג׳.gGוִילְיָמְסVi/le/YAMSWilliamsוְיִנָּתֵןve/yin/NA/tenand it shall be givenלָהֶםla/HEMthemכִּתְפִלַּתkit/fil/LATeven according to the prayerאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAof faithוּכְפִיu/khe/FIand inasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasתִּשְׁמְרוּtish/me/RUyou keepדְּבָרַיde/va/RAYmy sayingsלֹאlonotתִכָּלְמוּtik/ka/le/MUyou shall be confoundedבָעוֹלָםva/o/LAMin worldהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְלֹאve/LOnorבָעוֹלָםva/o/LAMin the worldהַבָּא׃hab/BAto come

    And let my servants Joseph Smith, Jun., and Frederick G. Williams make haste also, and it shall be given them even according to the prayer of faith; and inasmuch as you keep my sayings you shall not be confounded in this world, nor in the world to come.

    וְאָמֵןve/a/MENand verilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youרְצוֹנִיre/tso/NIthat it is my willאֲשֶׁר־תְּמַהֲרוּa/SHER-te/ma/ha/RUthat you should hastenלְתַרְגֵּםle/tar/GEMto translateאֶת־כְּתוּבַיet-ke/tu/VAYmy scripturesוּלְהַשִּׂיגu/le/has/SIGand to obtainדַּעַתDA/ata knowledgeתּוֹלְדוֹתtol/DOTof historyוּמְדִינוֹתu/me/di/NOTand of countriesוּמַמְלָכוֹתu/mam/la/KHOTand of kingdomsוְחֻקֵּיve/chuk/KEof lawsאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוְאָדָםve/a/DAMand manוְכׇל־זֹאתve/KHOL-zotand all thisלִישׁוּעַתli/shu/ATfor the salvationצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    And, verily I say unto you, that it is my will that you should hasten to translate my scriptures, and to obtain a knowledge of history, and of countries, and of kingdoms, of laws of God and man, and all this for the salvation of Zion. Amen.
