   Oliver Cowdery, verily, verily, I say unto you, that assuredly as the Lord liveth, who is your God and your Redeemer, even so surely shall you receive a knowledge of whatsoever things you shall ask in faith, with an honest heart, believing that you shall receive a knowledge concerning the engravings of old records, which are ancient, which contain those parts of my scripture of which has been spoken by the manifestation of my Spirit.

   Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAnowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdזֹאתzotthis isרוּחַRU/achspiritהֶחָזוֹןhe/cha/ZONof revelationהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdזֹאתzotthis isהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe spiritאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֶעֱבִירhe/e/VIRbroughtבָּהּbaby itמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEchildrenיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELof Israelבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHthrough midstיַם־סוּףyam-Sufof the Red Seaבֶּחָרָבָה׃be/cha/ra/VAon dry ground

   Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation; behold, this is the spirit by which Moses brought the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeזֹאתzotthis isמַתְּנָתְךָmat/te/na/te/KHAyour giftדְּבַקde/VAKapply yourselfבָּהּbaunto itוּבָרוּךְu/va/RUKHand blessedאַתָּהat/TAare youכִּיkiforתַצִּילְךָtats/tsi/le/KHAit shall deliver youמִידֵיMI/deout of the handsאֹיְבֶיךָoy/VE/khaof your enemiesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenלוּלֵאlu/LEif notכֵןkhensoהֲרָגוּךָha/ra/gu/KHAthey would slay youוְהֵבִיאוּve/he/VI/uwould bringנַפְשְׁךָnaf/she/KHAyour soulלְאׇבְדָן׃le/ov/DANto destruction

   Therefore this is thy gift; apply unto it, and blessed art thou, for it shall deliver you out of the hands of your enemies, when, if it were not so, they would slay you and bring your soul to destruction.

   אָנָּאan/NAohזְכֹרze/KHORrememberאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוּשְׁמֹרu/she/MORand keepמִצְוֹתָיmits/vo/TAYmy commandmentsזְכֹרze/KHORrememberזֹאתzotthis isמַתְּנָתְךָ׃mat/te/na/te/KHAyour gift

   Oh, remember these words, and keep my commandments. Remember, this is your gift.

   וְזֹאתve/ZOTand this isלֹאlonotכׇל־מַתְּנָתְךָkhol-mat/te/na/te/KHAall of your giftכִּיkiforיֶשׁ־לְךָyesh-le/KHAyou haveמַתָּנָהmat/ta/NAa giftאַחֶרֶתa/CHE/retotherהִיאhiit isמַתַּתmat/TATthe giftאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONof Aaronהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהִגִּידָהhig/GI/dait toldלְךָle/KHAyouדְבָרִיםde/va/RIMthingsרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

   Now this is not all thy gift; for you have another gift, which is the gift of Aaron; behold, it has told you many things;

   הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֵיןenthere is noכֹּחַKO/achpowerאַחֵרa/CHERotherזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIapart fromכֹּחַKO/achpowerאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיוּכַלyu/KHALis ableלָתֵתla/TETto causeמַתַּתmat/TATthe giftאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONof Aaronהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beעִמְּךָ׃im/me/KHAwith you

   Behold, there is no other power, save the power of God, that can cause this gift of Aaron to be with you.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאַל־תְּסַפֵּקal-te/sap/PEKdoubt notכִּיkiforמַתַּתmat/TATthe giftאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godהִיאhiit isוְתַחֲזִיקve/ta/cha/ZIKand you shall holdבָּהּbaitבְיָדֶיךָve/ya/DE/khain your handsוְתַעֲשֶׂהve/ta/a/SEand you shall doנִפְלָאוֹתnif/la/OTmarvelous worksוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noכֹּחַKO/achpowerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיוּכַלyu/KHALis ableלְהוֹצִיאָהּle/ho/tsi/Ato take it awayמִיָּדֶיךָmiy/ya/DE/khafrom your handsכִּיkiforמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEworkאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godהִיא׃hiit is

   Therefore, doubt not, for it is the gift of God; and you shall hold it in your hands, and do marvelous works; and no power shall be able to take it away out of your hands, for it is the work of God.

   וְעַל־כֵּןve/AL-kenand thereforeכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhateverתִּשְׁאַלtish/ALyou askמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/niof meלְהַגִּידle/hag/GIDto tellלְךָle/KHAyouבָּהּbaby itאֶתֵּןet/TENI will giveלְךָle/KHAyouוּתְקַבֵּלu/te/kab/BELand you shall receiveדַּעַתDA/atknowledgeעָלָיו׃a/LAYVconcerning it

   And, therefore, whatsoever you shall ask me to tell you by that means, that will I grant unto you, and you shall have knowledge concerning it.

    זְכֹרze/KHORrememberכִּיkithatבְּאֵיןbe/ENwithoutאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithלֹאlonotתוּכַלtu/KHALyou canלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doמְאוּמָהme/U/maanythingעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeשְׁאַלshe/ALaskבֶּאֱמוּנָהbe/e/mu/NAin faithאַלaldo notתְּהַתֵּלte/hat/TELtrifleבַּדְּבָרִיםbad/de/va/RIMwith the thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאַלaldo notתִּשְׁאַלtish/ALaskאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthat whichלֹאlonotנָכוֹןna/KHONproperלִשְׁאֹל׃lish/OLto ask

    Remember that without faith you can do nothing; therefore ask in faith. Trifle not with these things; do not ask for that which you ought not.

    שְׁאַלshe/ALaskלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowסוֹדוֹתso/DOTthe mysteriesאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוּלְתַרְגֵּםu/le/tar/GEMand to translateוּלְקַבֵּלu/le/kab/BELand to receiveדַּעַתDA/atknowledgeמִכׇּל־הַכְּתָבִיםmik/KOL-hak/ke/ta/VIMfrom all the recordsהַקְּדוּמִיםhak/ke/du/MIMthe ancientהַצְּפוּנִיםhats/tse/fu/NIMthe hiddenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichקֹדֶשׁKO/deshsacredהֵםhemthey areוְכֶאֱמוּנָתְךָve/khe/e/mu/na/te/KHAand according to your faithיֵעָשֶׂה־לְּךָ׃ye/a/SE-le/KHAit shall be done to you

    Ask that you may know the mysteries of God, and that you may translate and receive knowledge from all those ancient records which have been hid up, that are sacred; and according to your faith shall it be done unto you.

    Behold, it is I that have spoken it; and I am the same that spake unto you from the beginning. Amen.
