   The Lord spake unto Joseph Smith, Jun., saying: Hearken unto me, saith the Lord your God, who are ordained unto the high priesthood of my church, who have assembled yourselves together;

   וְשִׁמְעוּve/shim/Uand listen toעֲצַתa/TSATthe counselהַסּוֹמֵךְhas/so/MEKHof him who ordainedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִמָּרוֹםmim/ma/ROMfrom on highהַמְדַבֵּרham/dab/BERwho shall speakבְּאׇזְנֵיכֶםbe/oz/ne/KHEMin your earsדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe wordsחׇכְמָהchokh/MAof wisdomלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּהְיֶהtih/YEmay beלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youיְשׁוּעָהye/shu/Asalvationבַּדָּבָרbad/da/VARin that thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהִקְרַבְתֶּםhik/rav/TEMyou presentedלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

   And listen to the counsel of him who has ordained you from on high, who shall speak in your ears the words of wisdom, that salvation may be unto you in that thing which you have presented before me, saith the Lord God.

   כִּיkiforאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youבָּאָהba/Acameהָעֵתha/ETthe timeוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdהִיאhiit isעַתָּהat/TAnowקְרוֹבָהke/ro/VAat handוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdוְהֵןve/HENand loנָכוֹןna/KHONit must needs beלַעֲרֹךְla/a/ROKHthat there be an organizationאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MIof my peopleלְתַכֵּןle/tak/KENin regulatingוּלְכוֹנֵןu/le/kho/NENand establishingעִנְיְנֵיin/ye/NEthe affairsהָאוֹצָרha/o/TSARof the storehouseלַעֲנִיֵּיla/a/niy/YEfor the poorעַמִּיam/MIof my peopleגַּםgambothבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְגַםve/GAMandבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the landצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONof Zion

   For verily I say unto you, the time has come, and is now at hand; and behold, and lo, it must needs be that there be an organization of my people, in regulating and establishing the affairs of the storehouse for the poor of my people, both in this place and in the land of Zion—

   לְמַעֲמָדle/ma/a/MADfor an establishmentנָכוֹןna/KHONpermanentוְנִצְחִיve/nits/CHIand everlastingוּלְסֵדֶרu/le/SE/derand orderבִּכְנֵסִיָּתִיbikh/ne/siy/ya/TIunto my churchלְהַצְלִיחַle/hats/LI/achto advanceאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe causeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֲחַזְתֶּםa/chaz/TEMyou espousedבּוֹboin itלִישׁוּעַתli/shu/ATto the salvationאָדָםa/DAMof manוְלִכְבוֹדve/likh/VODand to the gloryאֲבִיכֶםA/vi/KHEMof your Fatherאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoבַּשָּׁמָיִם׃bash/sha/ma/YIMis in heaven

   For a permanent and everlasting establishment and order unto my church, to advance the cause, which ye have espoused, to the salvation of man, and to the glory of your Father who is in heaven;

   לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּהְיוּtih/YUyou may beשָׁוִיםsha/VIMequalבַּאֲגֻדּוֹתba/a/gud/DOTin the bondsדְבָרִיםde/va/RIMof thingsשְׁמֵימִיִּיםshe/me/miy/YIMheavenlyאָכֵןa/KHENyeaוְגַםve/GAMand alsoאַרְצִיִּיםar/tsiy/YIMearthly thingsלְהַשִּׂיגle/has/SIGfor the obtainingדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMof thingsשְׁמֵימִיִּים׃she/me/miy/YIMheavenly

   That you may be equal in the bonds of heavenly things, yea, and earthly things also, for the obtaining of heavenly things.

   כִּיkiforאִםimifאֵינְכֶםe/ne/KHEMyou are notשָׁוִיםsha/VIMequalבִּדְבָרִיםbid/va/RIMin thingsאַרְצִיִּיםar/tsiy/YIMearthlyלֹאlonotתוּכְלוּtukh/LUyou canלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTbeשָׁוִיםsha/VIMequalבְּהַשִּׂיגbe/has/SIGin obtainingדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMthingsשְׁמֵימִיִּים׃she/me/miy/YIMheavenly

   For if ye are not equal in earthly things ye cannot be equal in obtaining heavenly things;

   כִּיkiforאִםimifתַּחְפְּצוּtach/pe/TSUyou willאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֶתֵּןet/TENI giveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמָקוֹםma/KOMa placeבָּעוֹלָםba/o/LAMin the worldהַשְּׁמֵימִיhash/she/me/MIcelestialעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyou mustלְהָכִיןle/ha/KHINprepareאֶת־נַפְשְׁכֶםet-naf/she/KHEMyourselvesבַּעֲשׂוֹתְכֶםba/a/sot/KHEMby doingאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthe things whichצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedוְדָרַשְׁתִּיve/da/rash/TIand requiredמִכֶּם׃mik/KEMof you

   For if you will that I give unto you a place in the celestial world, you must prepare yourselves by doing the things which I have commanded you and required of you.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאָמֵןa/MENverilyכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordנָכוֹןna/KHONit is expedientלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTthat be doneכׇּלkolallדָּבָרda/VARthingsלִכְבוֹדִיlikh/vo/DIunto my gloryבְּיֶדְכֶםbe/yed/KHEMby youהַמְחֻבָּרִיםham/chub/ba/RIMyou who are joined togetherבַּסֵּדֶרbas/SE/derin orderהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And now, verily thus saith the Lord, it is expedient that all things be done unto my glory, by you who are joined together in this order;

   Or, in other words, let my servant Newel K. Whitney and my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and my servant Sidney Rigdon sit in council with the saints which are in Zion;

    וְאִם־לֹאve/IM-lootherwiseיְבַקֵּשׁye/vak/KESHseeksהַשָּׂטָןHas/sa/TANSatanלְהָסִירle/ha/SIRto turnאֶת־לִבָּםet-lib/BAMtheir heartsמִןminaway fromהָאֱמֶתha/e/METthe truthלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיְעֻוְּרוּye/uv/ve/RUthey become blindedוְלֹאve/LOand notיָבִינוּya/VI/nuunderstandאֶת־הַמּוּכָןet-ham/mu/KHANthe things which are preparedלָהֶם׃la/HEMfor them

    Otherwise Satan seeketh to turn their hearts away from the truth, that they become blinded and understand not the things which are prepared for them.

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeמִצְוָהmits/VAa commandmentאֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouהִכּוֹנוּhik/ko/NUto prepareוְהִתְאַחֲדוּve/hit/a/cha/DUand organize yourselvesבַּאֲגֻדָּהba/a/gud/DAby a bondאוֹoorבִּבְרִית־עוֹלָםbiv/RIT-o/LAMeverlasting covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotתֻפַר׃tu/FARcan be broken

    Wherefore, a commandment I give unto you, to prepare and organize yourselves by a bond or everlasting covenant that cannot be broken.

12. 12

    וְהַמְפִירָהּve/ham/fi/RAand he who breaks itיְאַבֵּדye/ab/BEDshall loseאֶת־מִשְׂרָתוֹet-mis/ra/TOhis officeוּמַעֲמָדוֹu/ma/a/ma/DOand standingבַּכְּנֵסִיָּהbak/ke/ne/siy/YAin the churchוְיִמָּסֵרve/yim/ma/SERand shall be deliveredלְמַהֲלֻמוֹתle/ma/ha/lu/MOTover to the buffetingsהַשָּׂטָןhas/Sa/TANof Satanעַדaduntilיוֹםyomthe dayהַגְּאֻלָּה׃hag/ge/ul/LAof redemption

    And he who breaketh it shall lose his office and standing in the church, and shall be delivered over to the buffetings of Satan until the day of redemption.

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdזֹאתzotthis isהַתְּכוּנָהhat/te/khu/NAthe preparationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwherewithאֲנִיa/NIIמֵכִיןme/KHINprepareאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְהַיְסוֹדve/hay/SODand the foundationוְהַמּוֹפֵתve/ham/mo/FETand the ensampleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouלְמַלֵּאle/mal/LEwhereby you may accomplishאֶת־הַמִּצְוֹתet-ham/mits/VOTthe commandmentsהַנְּתוּנוֹתhan/ne/tu/NOTwhich are givenלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    Behold, this is the preparation wherewith I prepare you, and the foundation, and the ensample which I give unto you, whereby you may accomplish the commandments which are given you;

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatבְּהַשְׁגִּיחִיbe/hash/gi/CHIthrough my providenceגַּםgamnotwithstandingכִּיkithatתֵּרֵדte/REDshall descendעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMupon youהַצָּרָהhats/tsa/RAthe tribulationתַּעֲמֹדta/a/MODmay standהַכְּנֵסִיָּהhak/ke/ne/siy/YAthe churchלְבַדָּהּle/vad/DAindependentמֵעַלme/ALaboveכׇּלkolallיְצוּרye/TSURcreaturesאַחֵרa/CHERotherמִתַּחַתmit/TA/chatbeneathלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMthe worldהַשְּׁמֵימִי׃hash/she/me/MIcelestial

    That through my providence, notwithstanding the tribulation which shall descend upon you, that the church may stand independent above all other creatures beneath the celestial world;

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתַּעֲלוּta/a/LUyou may come upלַכֶּתֶרlak/KE/terunto the crownהַמּוּכָןham/mu/KHANpreparedלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youוְתֵעָשׂוּve/te/a/SUand be madeמוֹשְׁלִיםmosh/LIMrulersעַלaloverמַלְכֻיּוֹתmal/khuy/YOTkingdomsרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodקְדוֹשׁKe/DOSHthe Holy OneצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִסֵּדyis/SEDestablishedאֶת־יְסוֹדוֹתet-ye/so/DOTthe foundationsאָדָם־אוֹנְדִי־אַהְמָן׃a/DAM-on/DI-Ah/MANof Adam-ondi-Ahman

    That you may come up unto the crown prepared for you, and be made rulers over many kingdoms, saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Zion, who hath established the foundations of Adam-ondi-Ahman;

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoמִנָּהmin/NAappointedאֶת־מִיכָאֵלet-Mi/kha/ELMichaelלְשַׂרְכֶםle/sar/KHEMyour princeוְכוֹנֵןve/kho/NENand establishedרַגְלָיוrag/LAYVhis feetוַיְשִׂימֵהוּvay/si/ME/huand set himבַּמָּרוֹםbam/ma/ROMupon highוַיִּתֶּןvay/YIT/tenand givenלוֹlohimמַפְתְּחוֹתmaf/te/CHOTthe keysהַיְשׁוּעָהhay/shu/Aof salvationתַּחַתTA/chatunderעֲצַתa/TSATthe counselוְהַנְהָגַתve/han/ha/GATand directionהַקָּדוֹשׁhak/Ka/DOSHof the Holy Oneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoאֵיןenis withoutתְּחִלָּהte/chil/LAbeginningלְיָמָיוle/ya/MAYVof daysוְאֵיןve/ENorקֵץketsendלְחַיָּיו׃le/chay/YAYVof life

    Who hath appointed Michael your prince, and established his feet, and set him upon high, and given unto him the keys of salvation under the counsel and direction of the Holy One, who is without beginning of days or end of life.

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youיְלָדִיםye/la/DIMchildrenקְטַנִּיםke/tan/NIMlittleאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areוְעוֹדve/ODand as yetלֹאlonotהֲבִינֹתֶםha/vi/no/TEMyou understoodכַּמָּהkam/MAhowגְדוֹלוֹתge/do/LOTgreatהַבְּרָכוֹתhab/be/ra/KHOTthe blessingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבִּידֵיbi/DEin the handsהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherוְהֵכִיןve/he/KHINand he preparedלָכֶם׃la/KHEMfor you

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you;

18. 18

    וְלֹאve/LOand notתוּכְלוּtukh/LUyou canלָשֵׂאתla/SETbearהַכֹּלhak/KOLall thingsעַתָּהat/TAnowאַךְakhneverthelessהִתְחַזְּקוּhit/chaz/ze/KUbe of good cheerכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIאוֹבִילְכֶםo/vi/le/KHEMwill lead you alongלָכֶםla/KHEMyoursהַמַּלְכוּתham/mal/KHUTis the kingdomוּבִרְכוֹתֶיהָu/vir/kho/te/HAand the blessings thereofלָכֶםla/KHEMare yoursוְעֹשֶׁרve/O/sherand the richesהַנֶּצַחhan/NE/tsachof eternityלָכֶם׃la/KHEMare yours

    And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours.

    וְהַמְקַבֵּלve/ham/kab/BELand he who receivesהַכֹּלhak/KOLall thingsבְּתוֹדָהbe/to/DAwith thankfulnessיֵעָשֶׂהye/a/SEshall be madeנִכְבָּדnikh/BADgloriousוְדִבְרֵיve/div/REand the thingsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof earthהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisיִוָּסְפוּyiv/va/se/FUshall be addedלוֹlounto himגַּםgamevenמֵאָהme/Aan hundredשְׁעָרִיםshe/a/RIMfoldאָכֵןa/KHENyeaוְיוֹתֵר׃ve/yo/TERmore

    And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more.

20. 20

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeעֲשׂוּa/SUdoאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthe things whichצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouנְאֻםne/UMsaysגֹּאַלְכֶםGo/al/KHEMyour Redeemerגַּםgamevenהַבֵּןhab/BENthe SonאַהְמָןAh/MANAhmanהַמֵּכִיןham/me/KHINwho preparesהַכֹּלhak/KOLall thingsלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeלְקַחְתּוֹle/kach/TOhe takesאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    Wherefore, do the things which I have commanded you, saith your Redeemer, even the Son Ahman, who prepareth all things before he taketh you;

21. 21

    כִּיkiforאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areכְּנֵסִיַּתke/ne/siy/YATthe churchהַבְּכוֹרhab/Be/KHORof the Firstbornוְהוּאve/HUand heיִקַּחyik/KACHwill takeאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyou upבְּעָנָןbe/a/NANin a cloudוְיַפְקִידve/yaf/KIDand appointלְכׇלle/KHOLto everyאִישׁishmanחֶלְקוֹ׃chel/KOhis portion

    For ye are the church of the Firstborn, and he will take you up in a cloud, and appoint every man his portion.

22. 22

    וְהַסֹּכֵןve/has/so/KHENand the stewardהַנֶּאֱמָןhan/ne/e/MANthat is faithfulוְהֶחָכָםve/he/cha/KHAMand wiseיִירַשׁYI/rashshall inheritהַכֹּלhak/KOLall thingsאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    And he that is a faithful and wise steward shall inherit all things. Amen.
