   Behold, thus saith the Lord unto you my servants Joseph Smith, Jun., and Sidney Rigdon, that the time has verily come that it is necessary and expedient in me that you should open your mouths in proclaiming my gospel, the things of the kingdom, expounding the mysteries thereof out of the scriptures, according to that portion of Spirit and power which shall be given unto you, even as I will.

   אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאוֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youהַכְרִיזוּhakh/ri/ZUproclaimלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMunto the worldבַּגְּלִילוֹתbag/ge/li/LOTin the regionsמִסָּבִיבmis/sa/VIVround aboutוְגַםve/GAMand alsoבַּכְּנֵסִיָּהbak/ke/ne/siy/YAin the churchלַמִּצְעָרlam/mits/ARfor the space of a seasonעַדadeven untilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיוּדַעyu/DAit shall be made knownלָכֶם׃la/KHEMunto you

   Verily I say unto you, proclaim unto the world in the regions round about, and in the church also, for the space of a season, even until it shall be made known unto you.

   אָמֵןa/MENverilyזֹאתzotthis isמִשְׁלַחַתmish/LA/chata missionלַמִּצְעָרlam/mits/ARfor the space of a seasonאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֲנִיa/NIIנוֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

   Verily this is a mission for a season, which I give unto you.

   לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeעִבְדוּiv/DUlaborבְּכַרְמִיbe/khar/MIin my vineyardקִרְאוּkir/Ucallאֶלeluponיוֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitantsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthוְהָעִידוּve/ha/I/duand bear recordוְהָכִינוּve/ha/KHI/nuand prepareאֶת־הַדֶּרֶךְet-had/DE/rekhthe wayלַמִּצְוֹתlam/mits/VOTfor the commandmentsוְהַחֲזוֹנוֹתve/ha/cha/zo/NOTand revelationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיָבֹאוּ׃ya/vo/Uare to come

   Wherefore, labor ye in my vineyard. Call upon the inhabitants of the earth, and bear record, and prepare the way for the commandments and revelations which are to come.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdזֹאתzotthis isחׇכְמָהchokh/MAwisdomהַקּוֹרֵאhak/ko/REwhoso readsיָבִיןya/VINlet him understandוְגַםve/GAMand alsoיְקַבֵּל׃ye/kab/BELreceive

   Now, behold this is wisdom; whoso readeth, let him understand and receive also;

   כִּיkiforלַמְקַבֵּלlam/kab/BELunto him that receivesיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENit shall be givenבְּשֶׁפַעbe/SHE/faabundantlyיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreגַּםgamevenכֹּחַ׃KO/achpower

   For unto him that receiveth it shall be given more abundantly, even power.

   לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeהֹבִישׁוּho/VI/shuconfoundאֶת־אוֹיְבֵיכֶםet-oy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesקִרְאוּkir/Ucallלָהֶםla/HEMupon themלִפְגֹּשׁlif/GOSHto meetאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouגַּםgambothבַּגָּלוּיbag/ga/LUYin publicוְגַםve/GAMandבַּסֵּתֶרbas/SE/terin privateוּכְפִיu/khe/FIand inasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasתִּהְיוּtih/YUyou areנֶאֱמָנִיםne/e/ma/NIMfaithfulבׇּשְׁתָּםbosh/TAMtheir shameתִּגָּלֶה׃tig/ga/LEshall be made manifest

   Wherefore, confound your enemies; call upon them to meet you both in public and in private; and inasmuch as ye are faithful their shame shall be made manifest.

   לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeיָבִיאוּya/VI/ulet them bring forthאֶת־עֲצֻמוֹתֵיהֶםet-a/tsu/mo/te/HEMtheir strong reasonsכְּנֶגֶדke/NE/gedagainstיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord

   Wherefore, let them bring forth their strong reasons against the Lord.

9. 9

   אָמֵןa/MENverilyכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youכׇּל־כְּלִיkol-ke/LIthere is no weaponיוּצַרyu/TSARthat is formedעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMagainst youלֹאloshall notיִצְלָח׃yits/LACHprosper

   Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you—there is no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper;

10. 10

    וְאִםve/IMand ifיָרִיםya/RIMshall lift upאִישׁishany manקוֹלוֹko/LOhis voiceעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMagainst youיֵבוֹשׁye/VOSHhe shall be confoundedבְּעִתִּי׃be/it/TIin my own due time

    And if any man lift his voice against you he shall be confounded in mine own due time.

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeשִׁמְרוּshim/RUkeepמִצְוֹתַיmits/vo/TAYmy commandmentsהֵןhenthey areאֱמֶתe/METtrueוְנֶאֱמָנוֹתve/ne/e/ma/NOTand faithfulכֵּןkeneven soיְהִיye/HIbe itאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    Wherefore, keep my commandments; they are true and faithful. Even so. Amen.
