   Behold, thus saith the Lord your God unto you, O ye elders of my church, hearken ye and hear, and receive my will concerning you.

   For verily I say unto you, I will that ye should overcome the world; wherefore I will have compassion upon you.

   יֵשׁyeshthere areבֵּינֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMamong youאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthose whoחָטְאוּcha/te/Usinnedאַךְakhbutאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלַפַּעַםlap/PA/amfor onceהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלִכְבוֹדִיlikh/vo/DIfor my own gloryוְלִישׁוּעַתve/li/shu/ATand for the salvationנְפָשׁוֹתne/fa/SHOTof soulsסָלַחְתִּיsa/LACH/tiI have forgivenלָכֶםla/KHEMyouחַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃chat/to/te/KHEMyour sins

   There are those among you who have sinned; but verily I say, for this once, for mine own glory, and for the salvation of souls, I have forgiven you your sins.

   אֲרַחֵםa/ra/CHEMI will be mercifulעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youכִּיkiforנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouהַמַּלְכוּת׃ham/mal/KHUTthe kingdom

   I will be merciful unto you, for I have given unto you the kingdom.

   וּמַפְתְּחוֹתu/maf/te/CHOTand the keysסוֹדוֹתso/DOTof the mysteriesהַמַּלְכוּתham/mal/KHUTof the kingdomלֹאlonotיִלָּקְחוּyil/la/ke/CHUshall be takenמֵעַבְדִּיme/av/DIfrom my servantיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephסְמִיתSe/MITSmithהַבֵּןHab/BENJunבַּדְּרָכִיםbad/de/ra/KHIMthrough the meansאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichמִנִּיתִיmin/ni/TII appointedבְּעוֹדbe/ODwhileהוּאhuheחַיchaylivesכְּפִיke/FIinasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasיִשְׁמֹרyish/MORhe obeysחֻקּוֹתָי׃chuk/ko/TAYmy ordinances

   And the keys of the mysteries of the kingdom shall not be taken from my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., through the means I have appointed, while he liveth, inasmuch as he obeyeth mine ordinances.

   יֵשׁyeshthere are thoseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoבִּקְּשׁוּbik/ke/SHUsoughtעִלָּהil/LAoccasionעָלָיוa/LAYVagainst himבְּלֹאbe/LOwithoutסִבָּה׃sib/BAcause

   There are those who have sought occasion against him without cause;

   אַךְakhneverthelessהוּאhuheחָטָאcha/TAsinnedאַךְakhbutאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordסוֹלֵחַso/LE/achforgiveחֲטָאִיםcha/ta/IMsinsלַמִּתְוַדִּיםlam/mit/vad/DIMunto those who confessחֲטָאֵיהֶםcha/ta/e/HEMtheir sinsלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meוּמְבַקְּשִׁיםu/me/vak/ke/SHIMand askסְלִיחָהse/li/CHAforgivenessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹאlonotחָטְאוּcha/te/Usinnedלַמָּוֶת׃lam/ma/VETunto death

   Nevertheless, he has sinned; but verily I say unto you, I, the Lord, forgive sins unto those who confess their sins before me and ask forgiveness, who have not sinned unto death.

   תַּלְמִידַיtal/mi/DAYmy disciplesבְּיָמִיםbe/ya/MIMin daysקַדְמוֹנִיםkad/mo/NIMof oldבִּקְּשׁוּbik/ke/SHUsoughtעִלָּהil/LAoccasionזֶהzeoneעַלalagainstזֶהzeanotherוְלֹאve/LOand notסָלְחוּsa/le/CHUforgaveזֶהzeoneלָזֶהla/ZEanotherבְּלִבָּםbe/lib/BAMin their heartsוּבַעֲבוּרu/va/a/VURand forהָרָעָהha/ra/Aevilהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisהֻכּוּhuk/KUthey were afflictedוְנִוַּסְּרוּve/niv/vas/se/RUand chastenedקָשֶׁה׃ka/SHEsorely

   My disciples, in days of old, sought occasion against one another and forgave not one another in their hearts; and for this evil they were afflicted and sorely chastened.

   לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyou oughtלִסְלֹחַlis/LO/achto forgiveזֶהzeoneלָזֶהla/ZEanotherכִּיkiforאֲשֶׁרa/SHERhe thatאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nunotסוֹלֵחַso/LE/achforgivesלְאָחִיוle/a/CHIVhis brotherפְּשָׁעָיוpe/sha/AYVhis trespassesעוֹמֵדo/MEDstandsמֻרְשָׁעmur/SHAcondemnedלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordכִּיkiforנִשְׁאָרnish/ARremainsבּוֹboin himהַחֵטְאha/CHETthe sinהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatיוֹתֵר׃yo/TERmore

   Wherefore, I say unto you, that ye ought to forgive one another; for he that forgiveth not his brother his trespasses standeth condemned before the Lord; for there remaineth in him the greater sin.

    אֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֶסְלַחes/LACHwill forgiveלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERwhomאֶסְלָחes/LACHI will forgiveאַךְakhbutמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youנִדְרָשׁnid/RASHit is requiredלִסְלֹחַlis/LO/achto forgiveלְכׇלle/KHOLallאָדָם׃a/DAMmen

    I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men.

11. 11

    וַאֲמַרְתֶּםva/a/mar/TEMand you ought to sayבִּלְבַבְכֶםbil/vav/KHEMin your heartsיִשְׁפֹּטyish/POTlet judgeאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבֵּינִיbe/NIbetween meוּבֵינֶךָu/ve/NE/khaand youוְיִגְמׇלְךָve/yig/mol/KHAand reward youכְּמַעֲשֶׂיךָ׃ke/ma/a/se/KHAaccording to your deeds

    And ye ought to say in your hearts—let God judge between me and thee, and reward thee according to thy deeds.

12. 12

    וְאֵתve/ETandאֲשֶׁרa/SHERhim thatאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nunotשָׁבshavrepentsמֵחֲטָאָיוme/cha/ta/AYVof his sinsוְאֵינֶנּוּve/e/NEN/nuand notמִתְוַדֶּהmit/vad/DEconfessesעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMthemתָּבִיאוּta/VI/uyou shall bringלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַכְּנֵסִיָּהhak/ke/ne/siy/YAthe churchוַעֲשִׂיתֶםva/a/si/TEMand doלוֹlounto himכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאוֹמֵרo/MERsaysהַכָּתוּבhak/ka/TUVthe scriptureאוֹoeitherבְמִצְוָהve/mits/VAby commandmentאוֹoorבְחָזוֹן׃ve/cha/ZONby revelation

    And him that repenteth not of his sins, and confesseth them not, ye shall bring before the church, and do with him as the scripture saith unto you, either by commandment or by revelation.

13. 13

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִכָּבֵדyik/ka/VEDmay be glorifiedאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלֹאlonotבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERbecauseאֵינְכֶםe/ne/KHEMyou notסֹלְחִיםsol/CHIMforgiveבְּאֵיןbe/ENwithoutרַחֲמִיםra/cha/MIMcompassionכִּי־אִםki-imbutלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּצָּדְקוּtits/tsa/de/KUyou may be justifiedלְפִיle/FIin the eyesהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAof the lawלְבַלle/VALthat notתַּכְעִיסוּtakh/i/SUyou offendאֶת־נוֹתֵןet-No/TENthe Giverהַתּוֹרָה׃hat/to/RAof the law

    And this ye shall do that God may be glorified—not because ye forgive not, having not compassion, but that ye may be justified in the eyes of the law, that ye may not offend him who is your lawgiver—

14. 14

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָזֹאתla/ZOTfor this causeתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/el/LEthese

    Verily I say, for this cause ye shall do these things.

15. 15

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordכָּעַסְתִּיka/as/TIwas angryעַלalwithאֲשֶׁרa/SHERhim whoהָיָהha/YAwasעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantעֶזְרָאEz/RAEzraבּוּתButBoothוְגַםve/GAMand alsoעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantיִצְחָקYits/CHAKIsaacמוֹרְלִיMor/LIMorleyכִּיkiforלֹאlonotשָׁמְרוּsha/me/RUthey keptהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawוְלֹאve/LOneitherהַמִּצְוָה׃ham/mits/VAthe commandment

    Behold, I, the Lord, was angry with him who was my servant Ezra Booth, and also my servant Isaac Morley, for they kept not the law, neither the commandment;

16. 16

    בִּקְּשׁוּbik/ke/SHUthey soughtרָעָהra/Aevilבְּלִבָּםbe/lib/BAMin their heartsוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand IיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordמָנַעְתִּיma/NA/tiwithheldרוּחִיRu/CHImy Spiritהִרְשִׁיעוּhir/shi/Uthey condemnedלָרַעla/RAas evilאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthat whichאֵיןenthere is noבּוֹboin itרַעraevilאַךְakhneverthelessסָלַחְתִּיsa/LACH/tiI have forgivenלְעַבְדִּיle/av/DImy servantיִצְחָקYits/CHAKIsaacמוֹרְלִי׃Mor/LIMorley

    They sought evil in their hearts, and I, the Lord, withheld my Spirit. They condemned for evil that thing in which there was no evil; nevertheless I have forgiven my servant Isaac Morley.

17. 17

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantאֶדְוָרְדEd/VARDEdwardפַּרְטְרִיג׳Par/te/RIGPartridgeהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהוּאhuheחָטָאcha/TAsinnedוְהַשָּׂטָןve/has/Sa/TANand Satanמְבַקֵּשׁme/vak/KESHseeksלְהַשְׁחִיתle/hash/CHITto destroyנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOhis soulאַךְakhbutכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenיִוָּדְעוּyiv/va/de/Uare made knownלָהֶםla/HEMunto themהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְיָשׁוּבוּve/ya/SHU/vuand they repentמֵהָרַעme/ha/RAof the evilיִסָּלַחyis/sa/LACHit shall be forgivenלָהֶם׃la/HEMthem

    And also my servant Edward Partridge, behold, he hath sinned, and Satan seeketh to destroy his soul; but when these things are made known unto them, and they repent of the evil, they shall be forgiven.

18. 18

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayנָכוֹןna/KHONit is expedientבִּיbiin meכִּיkithatעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantסִידְנִיSi/de/NISidneyגִילְבֶּרְטGil/BERTGilbertאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterשָׁבוּעוֹתsha/vu/OTweeksאֲחָדִיםa/cha/DIMa fewיָשׁוּבya/SHUVshall returnלִמְלַאכְתּוֹlim/lakh/TOupon his businessוּלְמִשְׂרָתוֹu/le/mis/ra/TOand to his agencyבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the landצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONof Zion

    And now, verily I say that it is expedient in me that my servant Sidney Gilbert, after a few weeks, shall return upon his business, and to his agency in the land of Zion;

19. 19

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand that whichרָאָהra/Ahe sawוְשָׁמַעve/sha/MAand heardיִוָּדַעyiv/va/DAmay be made knownלְתַלְמִידַיle/tal/mi/DAYunto my disciplesלְבַלle/VALthat notיֹאבֵדוּyo/VE/duthey perishוְלָזֹאתve/la/ZOTand for this causeדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tihave I spokenהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/el/LEthese

    And that which he hath seen and heard may be made known unto my disciples, that they perish not. And for this cause have I spoken these things.

20. 20

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatלֹאlonotיְנֻסֶּהye/nus/SEmay be temptedעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantיִצְחָקYits/CHAKIsaacמוֹרְלִיMor/LIMorleyיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreמִנְּשֹׂאmin/ne/SOthan he is able to bearוְיִיעַץve/yi/ATSand counselבְּעַוְלָהbe/av/LAwrongfullyלְרָעַתְכֶםle/ra/at/KHEMto your hurtצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI gave commandmentכִּיkithatתִּמָּכֵרtim/ma/KHERshould be soldחַוָּתוֹ׃chav/va/TOhis farm

    And again, I say unto you, that my servant Isaac Morley may not be tempted above that which he is able to bear, and counsel wrongfully to your hurt, I gave commandment that his farm should be sold.

21. 21

    אֵינֶנִּיe/NEN/niI am notחָפֵץcha/FETSwillingכִּיkithatעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantפְרֶדֶרִיקFe/re/de/RIKFrederickג׳.gGוִילְיָמְסVi/le/YAMSWilliamsיִמְכֹּרyim/KORshould sellחַוָּתוֹchav/va/TOhis farmכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordחָפֵץcha/FETSwillלְהַחֲזִיקle/ha/cha/ZIKto retainמָעוֹזma/OZa strongholdחָזָקcha/ZAKstrongבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the landקִרְטְלַנְדKir/te/LANDof Kirtlandחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfor the space of fiveשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyearsבָּהֶןba/HENin whichלֹאlonotאֶהְפֹּךְeh/POKHwill I overthrowהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedלְמַעַןle/MA/anthat therebyאוֹשִׁיעַo/SHI/aI may saveאֲחָדִים׃a/cha/DIMsome

    I will not that my servant Frederick G. Williams should sell his farm, for I, the Lord, will to retain a strong hold in the land of Kirtland, for the space of five years, in the which I will not overthrow the wicked, that thereby I may save some.

22. 22

    וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַהוּאha/HUthatאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordלֹאlonotאַרְשִׁיעַar/SHI/awill hold guiltyכׇּלkolanyהָעֹלֶהha/o/LEthat goes upבְּלֵבbe/LEVwith heartפָּתוּחַpa/TU/achopenלְאֶרֶץle/E/retsunto the landצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordדּוֹרֵשׁdo/RESHrequireלִבּוֹתlib/BOTthe heartsבְּנֵיbe/NEof the childrenאָדָם׃a/DAMof men

    And after that day, I, the Lord, will not hold any guilty that shall go with an open heart up to the land of Zion; for I, the Lord, require the hearts of the children of men.

23. 23

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdעַתָּהat/TAnowנִקְרָאnik/RAit is calledהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayעַדaduntilבּוֹאbothe comingבֶןVenof the Sonהָאָדָםha/A/DAMof Manוְאָמֵןve/a/MENand verilyהוּאhuit isיוֹםyoma dayקׇרְבָּןkor/BANof sacrificeוְיוֹםve/YOMand a dayלְמַעְשַׂרle/ma/SARfor the tithingעַמִּיam/MIof my peopleכִּיkiforהַמְעֻשָּׂרham/us/SARhe that is tithedלֹאlonotיִשָּׂרֵףyis/sa/REFshall be burnedבְּבוֹאוֹ׃be/vo/Oat his coming

    Behold, now it is called today until the coming of the Son of Man, and verily it is a day of sacrifice, and a day for the tithing of my people; for he that is tithed shall not be burned at his coming.

24. 24

    כִּיkiforאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayתָּבוֹאta/VOcomesהַשְּׂרֵפָהhas/se/re/FAthe burningזֶהzethis isלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERspeakingכְּדֶרֶךְke/DE/rekhafter the mannerיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordכִּיkiforאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayמָחָרma/CHARtomorrowכׇּלkolallהַגֵּאִיםhag/ge/IMthe proudוְעֹשֵׂיve/o/SEand those doingרֶשַׁעRE/shawickednessיִהְיוּyih/YUshall beכַּקַּשׁkak/KASHas stubbleוּשְׂרַפְתִּיםu/se/raf/TIMand I will burn them upכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NII amיְהוָהAdonaithe LordצְבָאוֹתTse/va/OTof Hostsוְלֹאve/LOand notאֶחְמֹלech/MOLwill I spareעַלaluponכׇּלkolanyהַנִּשְׁאָרִיםhan/nish/a/RIMthat remainבְּבָבֶל׃be/Va/VELin Babylon

    For after today cometh the burning—this is speaking after the manner of the Lord—for verily I say, tomorrow all the proud and they that do wickedly shall be as stubble; and I will burn them up, for I am the Lord of Hosts; and I will not spare any that remain in Babylon.

25. 25

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאִםimifתַּאֲמִינוּta/a/MI/nuyou believeלִיlimeתַּעַבְדוּta/av/DUyou will laborבְּעוֹדbe/ODwhileנִקְרָאnik/RAit is calledהַיּוֹם׃hay/YOMtoday

    Wherefore, if ye believe me, ye will labor while it is called today.

    וְלֹאve/LOand it is notנָכוֹןna/KHONmeetכִּיkithatעֲבָדַיa/va/DAYmy servantsנְיוּאֶלNe/yu/ELNewelק.kKוִיטְנִיVi/te/NIWhitneyוְסִידְנִיve/Si/de/NIand SidneyגִילְבֶּרְטGil/BERTGilbertיִמְכְּרוּyim/ke/RUshould sellחֲנוּתָםcha/nu/TAMtheir storeוּרְכוּשָׁםu/re/khu/SHAMand their possessionsפֹּהpohereכִּיkiforאֵיןenis notזֹאתzotthisחׇכְמָהchokh/MAwisdomעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatשְׁאֵרִיתshe/e/RITthe residueהַכְּנֵסִיָּהhak/ke/ne/siy/YAof the churchהַנִּשְׁאֶרֶתhan/nish/E/retwhich remainsבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisתַּעֲלֶהta/a/LEshall go upלְאֶרֶץle/E/retsunto the landצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONof Zion

    And it is not meet that my servants, Newel K. Whitney and Sidney Gilbert, should sell their store and their possessions here; for this is not wisdom until the residue of the church, which remaineth in this place, shall go up unto the land of Zion.

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdנֶאֱמַרne/e/MARit is saidבְּתוֹרוֹתַיbe/to/ro/TAYin my lawsאוֹoorאָסוּרa/SURforbiddenלָבוֹאla/VOto getבְּחוֹבbe/CHOVin debtלְאֹיְבֶיךָ׃le/oy/ve/KHAto your enemies

    Behold, it is said in my laws, or forbidden, to get in debt to thine enemies;

28. 28

    אַךְakhbutהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdלֹאlonotנֶאֱמַרne/e/MARit is saidבְּכׇלbe/KHOLat anyעֵתettimeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotיִקַּחyik/KACHshould takeיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordכְּחֶפְצוֹke/chef/TSOwhen he pleaseוִישַׁלֵּםvi/shal/LEMand payכַּטּוֹבkat/TOVas seems goodבְּעֵינָיו׃be/e/NAYVin his eyes

    But behold, it is not said at any time that the Lord should not take when he please, and pay as seemeth him good.

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERasאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areסֹכְנִיםsokh/NIMagentsאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areבְּמַשָּׂאbe/mas/SAon the errandיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordוְכׇלve/KHOLand whateverאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתַּעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou doלְפִיle/FIaccording toרְצוֹןre/TSONthe willיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordהוּאhuit isמְלֶאכֶתme/LE/khetthe businessיְהוָה׃Adonaiof the Lord

    Wherefore, as ye are agents, ye are on the Lord's errand; and whatever ye do according to the will of the Lord is the Lord's business.

30. 30

    וְהוּאve/HUand heהִצִּיבhits/TSIVsetאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלְכַלְכֵּלle/khal/KELto provide forקְדוֹשָׁיוke/do/SHAYVhis saintsבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the latter partהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMof the daysהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיַשִּׂיגוּyas/SI/guthey may obtainנַחֲלָהna/cha/LAan inheritanceבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the landצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONof Zion

    And he hath set you to provide for his saints in these last days, that they may obtain an inheritance in the land of Zion.

31. 31

    וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordמַכְרִיזmakh/RIZdeclareלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youוּדְבָרַיu/de/va/RAYand my wordsנֶאֱמָנִיםne/e/ma/NIMare sureוְלֹאve/LOand notיִכָּשְׁלוּyik/ka/she/LUshall failכִּיkiforיַשִּׂיגוּהָ׃yas/si/gu/HAthey shall obtain it

    And behold, I, the Lord, declare unto you, and my words are sure and shall not fail, that they shall obtain it.

32. 32

    אַךְakhbutכׇּלkolallהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsיָבֹאוּya/VO/ushall comeבְּעִתָּם׃be/it/TAMin their time

    But all things must come to pass in their time.

33. 33

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאַלalnotתִּלְאוּtil/Ube wearyבַּעֲשׂוֹתba/a/SOTin doingטוֹבtovgoodכִּיkiforאַתֶּםat/TEMyouמַנִּיחִיםman/ni/CHIMare layingיְסוֹדye/SODthe foundationמִפְעָלmif/ALof a workגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatוּמִדְּבָרִיםu/mid/de/va/RIMand out of thingsקְטַנִּיםke/tan/NIMsmallיוֹצֵאyo/TSEproceedsהַגָּדוֹל׃hag/ga/DOLthat which is great

    Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great.

34. 34

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordדּוֹרֵשׁdo/RESHrequiresהַלֵּבhal/LEVthe heartוְנֶפֶשׁve/NE/feshand a mindחֲפֵצָהcha/fe/TSAwillingוְהַחָפֵץve/ha/cha/FETSand the willingוְהַשּׁוֹמֵעַve/hash/sho/ME/aand the obedientיֹאכַלyo/KHALshall eatטוּבtuvthe goodאֶרֶץE/retsof the landצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the latter partהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMof the daysהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/el/LEthese

    Behold, the Lord requireth the heart and a willing mind; and the willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land of Zion in these last days.

35. 35

    וְהַמּוֹרְדִיםve/ham/mor/DIMand the rebelliousיִכָּרְתוּyik/ka/re/TUshall be cut offמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the landצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionוִישֻׁלְּחוּvi/shul/le/CHUand shall be sent awayוְלֹאve/LOand notיִירְשׁוּYI/re/shuthey shall inheritהָאָרֶץ׃ha/a/RETSthe land

    And the rebellious shall be cut off out of the land of Zion, and shall be sent away, and shall not inherit the land.

36. 36

    כִּיkiforאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayהַמּוֹרְדִיםham/mor/DIMthe rebelliousאֵינָםe/NAMare notמִדַּםmid/DAMof the bloodאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimof Ephraimלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeיִנָּתְשׁוּ׃yin/na/te/SHUthey shall be plucked out

    For, verily I say that the rebellious are not of the blood of Ephraim, wherefore they shall be plucked out.

37. 37

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/timadeכְּנֵסִיָּתִיke/ne/siy/ya/TImy churchבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the latter partהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMof the daysהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseכְּשׁוֹפֵטke/sho/FETlike a judgeיוֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVsittingעַלaluponגִּבְעָהgiv/Aa hillאוֹoorבְּמָקוֹםbe/ma/KOMin a placeגָּבוֹהַּga/VO/ahhighלִשְׁפֹּטlish/POTto judgeהַגּוֹיִם׃hag/go/YIMthe nations

    Behold, I, the Lord, have made my church in these last days like unto a judge sitting on a hill, or in a high place, to judge the nations.

38. 38

    כִּיkiforיָבוֹאya/VOit shall comeכִּיkithatיוֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitantsצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionיִשְׁפְּטוּyish/pe/TUshall judgeכׇּלkolallדָּבָרda/VARthingהַנּוֹגֵעַhan/no/GE/apertainingלְצִיּוֹן׃le/Tsiy/YONto Zion

    For it shall come to pass that the inhabitants of Zion shall judge all things pertaining to Zion.

39. 39

    וּמְכַזְּבִיםu/me/khaz/ze/VIMand liarsוַחֲנֵפִיםva/cha/ne/FIMand hypocritesיִבָּחֲנוּyib/ba/cha/NUshall be provedבָהֶםva/HEMby themוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand those whoאֵינָםe/NAMare notשְׁלוּחִיםshe/lu/CHIMapostlesוּנְבִיאִיםu/ne/vi/IMand prophetsיִוָּדָעוּ׃yiv/va/da/Ushall be known

    And liars and hypocrites shall be proved by them, and they who are not apostles and prophets shall be known.

40. 40

    וְגַםve/GAMand evenהַפָּקִידhap/pa/KIDthe bishopאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהוּאhuisשׁוֹפֵטsho/FETa judgeוְיוֹעֲצָיוve/yo/a/TSAYVand his counselorsאִםimifאֵינָםe/NAMthey are notנֶאֱמָנִיםne/e/ma/NIMfaithfulבִּפְקֻדָּתָםbif/kud/da/TAMin their stewardshipsיֻרְשְׁעוּyur/she/Ushall be condemnedוַאֲחֵרִיםva/a/che/RIMand othersיִנָּטְעוּyin/na/te/Ushall be plantedבִּמְקוֹמָם׃bim/ko/MAMin their stead

    And even the bishop, who is a judge, and his counselors, if they are not faithful in their stewardships shall be condemned, and others shall be planted in their stead.

41. 41

    כִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionתִּפְרַחtif/RACHshall flourishוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the gloryיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beעָלֶיהָ׃a/le/HAupon her

    For, behold, I say unto you that Zion shall flourish, and the glory of the Lord shall be upon her;

42. 42

    וְתִהְיֶהve/tih/YEand she shall beלְנֵסle/NESan ensignלָעָםla/AMunto the peopleוְיָבֹאוּve/ya/VO/uand shall comeאֵלֶיהָe/LE/haunto herמִכׇּלmik/KOLout of everyגּוֹיgoynationתַּחַתTA/chatunderהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/ma/YIMheaven

    And she shall be an ensign unto the people, and there shall come unto her out of every nation under heaven.

43. 43

    וְיָבוֹאve/ya/VOand shall comeהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenגּוֹיֵיgo/YEthe nationsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthיֶחֶרְדוּye/cher/DUshall trembleמִפָּנֶיהָmip/pa/NE/habecause of herוְיִירְאוּve/yi/re/Uand shall fearמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofגִּבּוֹרֶיהָgib/bo/RE/haher terrible onesיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordדִּבֵּרdib/BERspokeאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    And the day shall come when the nations of the earth shall tremble because of her, and shall fear because of her terrible ones. The Lord hath spoken it. Amen.
