   הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהוָהAdonaithe LordגַּםgamevenאָלֶףA/lefAlphaוְתָוve/TAVand Omegaהָרֵאשִׁיתha/re/SHITthe beginningוְהָאַחֲרִיתve/ha/a/cha/RITand the endגַּםgamevenהוּאhuheאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoנִצְלַבnits/LAVwas crucifiedבְּעַדbe/ADforחַטֹּאתchat/TOTthe sinsהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMof the world

   Behold, thus saith the Lord, even Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, even he who was crucified for the sins of the world—

   הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְךָle/KHAunto youעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantנְיוּאֶלNe/yu/ELNewelנַייְטNayytKnightתַּעֲמֹדta/a/MODyou shall standחָזָקcha/ZAKfastבַּמִּשְׂרָהbam/mis/RAin the officeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereuntoמִנִּיתִיךָmin/ni/ti/KHAI appointed youבָּהּ׃bain it

   Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, my servant Newel Knight, you shall stand fast in the office whereunto I have appointed you.

   וְאִםve/IMand ifאַחֶיךָa/CHE/khayour brethrenיִרְצוּyir/TSUdesireלְהִמָּלֵטle/him/ma/LETto escapeמֵאֹיְבֵיהֶםme/oy/ve/HEMfrom their enemiesיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vulet them repentמִכׇּלmik/KOLof allחַטֹּאתֵיהֶםchat/to/te/HEMtheir sinsוְיִהְיוּve/yih/YUand becomeעֲנָוִיםa/na/VIMhumbleבֶּאֱמֶתbe/e/METtrulyלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meוְנִשְׁבְּרֵיve/nish/be/REand contriteלֵב׃levof heart

   And if your brethren desire to escape their enemies, let them repent of all their sins, and become truly humble before me and contrite.

   וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand asהֻפְרָהhuf/RAhas been brokenהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּרְתוּka/re/TUthey madeאִתִּיit/TIwith meכֵּןkeneven soהָיְתָהha/ye/TAit becameבְּטֵלָהbe/te/LAvoidוּלְלֹאu/le/LOand of noתֹקֶף׃to/KEFeffect

   And as the covenant which they made unto me has been broken, even so it has become void and of none effect.

   וְאוֹיve/OYand woלָאִישׁla/ISHunto the manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoעַלalbyיָדוֹya/DOhis handבָּאbacomesהַמִּכְשׁוֹלham/mikh/SHOLthe offenseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkiforטוֹבtovbetterהָיָהha/YAit had beenלוֹlofor himלוּluhadטֻבַּעtub/BAhe been drownedבִּמְצוּלוֹתbim/tsu/LOTin the depthsהַיָּם׃hay/YAMof the sea

   And wo to him by whom this offense cometh, for it had been better for him that he had been drowned in the depth of the sea.

   אַךְakhbutאַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed areהַשֹּׁמְרִיםhash/shom/RIMthey who keptהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantוְהַשֹּׁמְעִיםve/hash/shom/IMand observedלַמִּצְוָהlam/mits/VAthe commandmentכִּיkiforהֵםhemtheyיַשִּׂיגוּyas/SI/gushall obtainרַחֲמִים׃ra/cha/MIMmercy

   But blessed are they who have kept the covenant and observed the commandment, for they shall obtain mercy.

   לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeלְכוּle/KHUgoעַתָּהat/TAnowוּבִרְחוּu/vir/CHUand fleeמִןminfromהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landפֶּןpenlestיָבֹאוּya/VO/ucomeעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMupon youאֹיְבֵיכֶםoy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesוּסְעוּu/se/Uand takeלְדַרְכְּכֶםle/dar/ke/KHEMyour journeyוּמַנּוּu/man/NUand appointאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomתִּרְצוּtir/TSUyou willלִמְנַהֶלְכֶםlim/na/hel/KHEMto be your leaderוּלְשַׁלֵּםu/le/shal/LEMand to payכְּסָפִיםke/sa/FIMmoneysבַּעֲבוּרְכֶם׃ba/a/vur/KHEMfor you

   Wherefore, go to now and flee the land, lest your enemies come upon you; and take your journey, and appoint whom you will to be your leader, and to pay moneys for you.

   וְכֵןve/KHENand thusתִּסְעוּtis/Uyou shall takeלְדַרְכְּכֶםle/dar/ke/KHEMyour journeyלַגְּלִילוֹתlag/ge/li/LOTinto the regionsמַעְרָבָהma/RA/vawestwardאֶלeluntoאֶרֶץE/retsthe landמִיזוּרִיmI/zu/RIof Missouriאֶלeluntoגְּבוּלוֹתge/vu/LOTthe bordersהַלָּמָנִים׃hal/La/ma/NIMof the Lamanites

   And thus you shall take your journey into the regions westward, unto the land of Missouri, unto the borders of the Lamanites.

   וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterמַסַּעֲכֶםmas/sa/a/KHEMyour journeyהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youבַּקְּשׁוּbak/ke/SHUseekמִחְיָהmich/YAa livingכִּבְנֵיkiv/NElike the sonsאָדָםa/DAMof manעַדaduntilאָכִיןa/KHINI prepareלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youמָקוֹם׃ma/KOMa place

   And after you have done journeying, behold, I say unto you, seek ye a living like unto men, until I prepare a place for you.

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againהוֹחִילוּho/chi/LUbe patientבַּצָּרָהbats/tsa/RAin tribulationעַדaduntilבוֹאִיvo/Imy comingוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdמְהֵרָהme/he/RAquicklyאָבוֹאa/VOI comeוּשְׂכָרִיu/se/kha/RIand my rewardאִתִּיit/TIwith meוּמְשַׁחֲרַיu/me/sha/cha/RAYand they who seek me earlyיִמְצְאוּyim/tse/Ushall findמַרְגּוֹעַmar/GO/arestלְנַפְשָׁםle/naf/SHAMto their soulsכֵּןkeneven soיְהִיye/HIbe itאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    And again, be patient in tribulation until I come; and, behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, and they who have sought me early shall find rest to their souls. Even so. Amen.
