   Behold, thus saith the Lord unto you, my servant William, yea, even the Lord of the whole earth, thou art called and chosen; and after thou hast been baptized by water, which if you do with an eye single to my glory, you shall have a remission of your sins and a reception of the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands;

   And then thou shalt be ordained by the hand of my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., to be an elder unto this church, to preach repentance and remission of sins by way of baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.

   וְעַלve/ALand onכׇּלkolevery oneאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomתָּשִׂיםta/SIMyou shall layיָדֶיךָya/DE/khayour handsאִםimifהֵםhemthey areנִשְׁבְּרֵיnish/be/REcontriteלֵבlevof heartלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meיִהְיֶה־לְּךָyih/YE-le/KHAyou shall haveכֹּחַKO/achpowerלָתֵתla/TETto giveרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃RU/ach-Hak/ko/DESHthe Holy Spirit

   And on whomsoever you shall lay your hands, if they are contrite before me, you shall have power to give the Holy Spirit.

   וְעוֹדve/ODand againתִּסָּמֵךְtis/sa/MEKHyou shall be ordainedלַעֲזֹרla/a/ZORto assistלְעַבְדִּיle/av/DImy servantאוֹלִיבֶרO/li/VEROliverקַאוּדְרִיKa/ud/RICowderyבִּמְלֶאכֶתbim/LE/khetin the workהַדְּפוּסhad/de/FUSof printingוּבִבְחִירַתu/viv/chi/RATand in the selectingוּכְתִיבַתu/khe/ti/VATand the writingסְפָרִיםse/fa/RIMof booksלְבָתֵּיle/vat/TEfor the housesסֵפֶרSE/ferof bookבַּכְּנֵסִיָּהbak/ke/ne/siy/YAin the churchהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatגַּםgamalsoיְלָדִיםye/la/DIMchildrenקְטַנִּיםke/tan/NIMlittleיְקַבְּלוּye/kab/be/LUmay receiveלֶקַחLE/kachinstructionלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meכַּטּוֹבkat/TOVas is goodבְּעֵינָי׃be/e/NAYin my eyes

   And again, you shall be ordained to assist my servant Oliver Cowdery to do the work of printing, and of selecting and writing books for schools in this church, that little children also may receive instruction before me as is pleasing unto me.

   וְעוֹדve/ODand againאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְךָle/KHAunto youלְמַעַןle/MA/anforזֹאתzotthis causeתֵּצֵאte/TSEyou shall takeלְדַרְכְּךָle/dar/ke/KHAyour journeyעִםimwithעֲבָדַיa/va/DAYmy servantsיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephסְמִיתSe/MITSmithהַבֵּןHab/BENJunוְסִידְנִיve/Si/de/NIand SidneyרִיגְדּוֹןRig/DONRigdonלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּנָּטַעtin/na/TAyou may be plantedבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the landנַחֲלָתְךָna/cha/la/te/KHAof your inheritanceלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doהַמְּלָאכָהham/me/la/KHAthe workהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

   And again, verily I say unto you, for this cause you shall take your journey with my servants Joseph Smith, Jun., and Sidney Rigdon, that you may be planted in the land of your inheritance to do this work.

   וְעוֹדve/ODand againעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephקוֹKoCoeגַּםgamalsoיֵצֵאye/TSElet him takeלְדַרְכּוֹle/dar/KOhis journeyעִמָּהֶםim/ma/HEMwith themהַשְּׁאָרhash/she/ARthe residueיוּדַעyu/DAshall be made knownאַחֲרֵי־כֵןa/cha/RE-khenhereafterכִּרְצוֹנִיkir/tso/NIas I willאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

   And again, let my servant Joseph Coe also take his journey with them. The residue shall be made known hereafter, even as I will. Amen.
