   Hearken, O ye people of my church, to whom the kingdom has been given; hearken ye and give ear to him who laid the foundation of the earth, who made the heavens and all the hosts thereof, and by whom all things were made which live, and move, and have a being.

   וְעוֹדve/ODand againאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayשִׁמְעוּshim/Uhearkenלְקוֹלִיle/ko/LIunto my voiceפֶּןpenlestיַשִּׂיגְכֶםyas/si/ge/KHEMshall overtake youהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathבְּשָׁעָהbe/sha/Ain an hourאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenלֹאlonotתֵדְעוּted/Uyou thinkעָבַרa/VARshall be pastהַקַּיִץhak/KA/yitsthe summerוְכָלָהve/kha/LAand endedהַקָּצִירhak/ka/TSIRthe harvestוְנַפְשְׁכֶםve/naf/she/KHEMand your soulsלֹאlonotנוֹשְׁעָה׃nosh/Asaved

   And again I say, hearken unto my voice, lest death shall overtake you; in an hour when ye think not the summer shall be past, and the harvest ended, and your souls not saved.

   Listen to him who is the advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him—

   לֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאָבִיA/VIFatherרְאֵהre/Ebeholdעֱנוּתe/NUTthe sufferings ofוּמוֹתu/MOTand the deathאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof him whoלֹאlonoחָטָאcha/TAsinnedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whomרָצִיתָra/TSI/tayou were well pleasedבּוֹboin himרְאֵהre/Ebeholdדַּםdamthe bloodבִּנְךָBin/KHAof your Sonהַנִּשְׁפָּךְhan/nish/PAKHwhich was shedדַּםdamthe bloodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof him whomנָתַתָּna/TAT/tayou gaveלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּכָּבֵד׃tik/ka/VEDyourself might be glorified

   Saying: Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified;

   Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name, that they may come unto me and have everlasting life.

   Hearken, O ye people of my church, and ye elders listen together, and hear my voice while it is called today, and harden not your hearts;

   For verily I say unto you that I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the light and the life of the world—a light that shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehendeth it not.

   I came unto mine own, and mine own received me not; but unto as many as received me gave I power to do many miracles, and to become the sons of God; and even unto them that believed on my name gave I power to obtain eternal life.

   וְכֵןve/KHENand even soשָׁלַחְתִּיsha/LACH/tiI sentבְּרִיתִיbe/ri/TImy covenantאֲשֶׁר־לְעוֹלָםa/SHER-le/o/LAMeverlastingאֶלelintoהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beאוֹרora lightלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMto the worldוְנֵסve/NESand a standardלְעַמִּיle/am/MIfor my peopleוְלַגּוֹיִםve/Lag/go/YIMand for the Gentilesלִדְרֹשׁlid/ROSHto seekאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato itוְלִהְיוֹתve/lih/YOTand to beמַלְאָךְmal/AKHa messengerלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore my faceלְפַנּוֹתle/fan/NOTto prepareהַדֶּרֶךְhad/DE/rekhthe wayלְפָנָי׃le/fa/NAYbefore me

   And even so I have sent mine everlasting covenant into the world, to be a light to the world, and to be a standard for my people, and for the Gentiles to seek to it, and to be a messenger before my face to prepare the way before me.

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeבֹּאוּBO/ucomeאֵלֶיהָe/LE/haunto itוְעִםve/IMand withהַבָּאhab/BAhim that comesאִוָּכַחiv/va/KHACHI will reasonכְּעִםke/IMas withאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenבִּימֵיbi/MEin the daysקֶדֶםKE/demof oldוְאַרְאֶכֶםve/ar/e/KHEMand I will show youתּוֹכַחְתִּיto/khach/TImy reasoningהַחֲזָקָה׃ha/cha/za/KAthe strong

    Wherefore, come ye unto it, and with him that cometh I will reason as with men in days of old, and I will show unto you my strong reasoning.

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeשִׁמְעוּshim/Uhearkenיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherוְאַרְאֶכֶםve/ar/e/KHEMand let me show youגַּםgamevenאֶת־חׇכְמָתִיet-chokh/ma/TImy wisdomחׇכְמַתchokh/MATthe wisdomהַהוּאha/HUof himאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתֹּאמְרוּto/me/RUyou sayכִּיkithatהוּאhuheאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEis the GodחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHof Enochוְאֶחָיו׃ve/e/CHAYVand his brethren

    Wherefore, hearken ye together and let me show unto you even my wisdom—the wisdom of him whom ye say is the God of Enoch, and his brethren,

12. 12

    אֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoנִבְדְּלוּniv/de/LUwere separatedמִןminfromהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְנֶאֶסְפוּve/ne/es/FUand were receivedאֵלַיe/LAYunto myselfעִירira cityשְׁמוּרָהshe/mu/RAreservedעַדaduntilבּוֹאbothe comingיוֹםyomof a dayהַצֶּדֶקhats/TSE/dekof righteousnessיוֹםyoma dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבִּקְּשׁוּbik/ke/SHUsought forכׇּלkolallאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmenקֹדֶשׁKO/deshof holinessוְלֹאve/LOand notמְצָאוּהוּme/tsa/u/HUfound itבִּגְלַלbig/LALbecause ofרֶשַׁעRE/shawickednessוְתוֹעֵבוֹת׃ve/to/e/VOTand abominations

    Who were separated from the earth, and were received unto myself—a city reserved until a day of righteousness shall come—a day which was sought for by all holy men, and they found it not because of wickedness and abominations;

13. 13

    וְהוֹדוּve/ho/DUand confessedכִּיkithatגֵּרִיםge/RIMstrangersוְתוֹשָׁבִיםve/to/sha/VIMand pilgrimsהֵםhemthey wereעַלaluponהָאָרֶץ׃ha/a/RETSthe earth

    And confessed they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth;

14. 14

    אַךְakhbutהִשִּׂיגוּhis/SI/guthey obtainedהַבְטָחָהhav/ta/CHAa promiseכִּיkithatיִמְצָאוּהוּyim/tsa/U/huthey should find itוְיִרְאוּהוּve/yir/u/HUand see itבִּבְשָׂרָם׃biv/sa/RAMin their flesh

    But obtained a promise that they should find it and see it in their flesh.

15. 15

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeשִׁמְעוּshim/Uhearkenוְאִוָּכַחve/iv/va/KHACHand I will reasonאִתְּכֶםit/te/KHEMwith youוַאֲדַבֵּרva/a/dab/BERand I will speakאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youוְאִנָּבֵאve/in/na/VEand prophesyכְּאֶלke/ELas untoאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenבִּימֵיbi/MEin the daysקֶדֶם׃ke/DEMof old

    Wherefore, hearken and I will reason with you, and I will speak unto you and prophesy, as unto men in days of old.

16. 16

    וְאַרְאֶכֶםve/ar/e/KHEMand I will show youבַּאֵר־הֵיטֵבba/ER-he/TEVvery plainlyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהֶרְאֵיתִיher/e/TII showed itלְתַלְמִידַיle/tal/mi/DAYto my disciplesבְּעׇמְדִיbe/om/DIwhen I stoodלִפְנֵיהֶםlif/ne/HEMbefore themבַּבָּשָׂרbab/ba/SARin the fleshוָאֲדַבֵּרva/a/dab/BERand I spokeאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasשְׁאַלְתֶּםshe/al/TEMyou askedמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/niof meעַלalconcerningאֹתוֹתo/TOTthe signsבּוֹאִיBO/iof my comingבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenאָבוֹאa/VOI shall comeבִּכְבוֹדִיbikh/vo/DIin my gloryבְּעַנְנֵיbe/an/NEin the cloudsהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimof heavenלְמַלֵּאle/mal/LEto fulfilהַהַבְטָחוֹתha/hav/ta/CHOTthe promisesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהִבְטַחְתִּיhiv/tach/TII madeלַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶם׃la/a/vo/te/KHEMunto your fathers

    And I will show it plainly as I showed it unto my disciples as I stood before them in the flesh, and spake unto them, saying: As ye have asked of me concerning the signs of my coming, in the day when I shall come in my glory in the clouds of heaven, to fulfil the promises that I have made unto your fathers,

    כִּיkiforכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasרְאִיתֶםre/i/TEMyou looked uponאֶת־הֵעָדֵרet-he/a/DERthe absenceרוּחוֹתֵיכֶםru/cho/te/KHEMof your spiritsהָאָרֹךְha/a/ROKHlongמִגּוּפֵיכֶםmig/gu/fe/KHEMfrom your bodiesכְּעַבְדוּתke/av/DUTas a bondageאַרְאֶכֶםar/e/KHEMI will show youאֵיךְekhhowיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeיוֹםyomthe dayהַגְּאֻלָּהhag/ge/ul/LAof redemptionוְאֵיךְve/EKHand also howהֲשָׁבַתha/sha/VATthe restorationיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELof Israelהַנָּפוֹץ׃han/na/FOTSthe scattered

    For as ye have looked upon the long absence of your spirits from your bodies to be a bondage, I will show unto you how the day of redemption shall come, and also the restoration of the scattered Israel.

18. 18

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאַתֶּםat/TEMyouרוֹאִיםro/IMbeholdאֶת־הַהֵיכָלet-ha/he/KHALthe templeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבִּירוּשָׁלַיִםbI/ru/sha/LA/yimin Jerusalemאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתִּקְרְאוּtik/re/Uyou callבֵּיתbetthe houseאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוְאֹיְבֵיכֶםve/oy/ve/KHEMand your enemiesאֹמְרִיםom/RIMsayכִּיkithatהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלֹאlonotיִפֹּלyip/POLshall fallלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

    And now ye behold this temple which is in Jerusalem, which ye call the house of God, and your enemies say that this house shall never fall.

19. 19

    אַךְakhbutאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youכִּיkithatשַׁמָּהsham/MAdesolationתָבוֹאta/VOshall comeעַלaluponהַדּוֹרhad/DORthe generationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכְּגַנָּבke/gan/NAVas a thiefבַּלָּיְלָהbal/LAY/lain the nightוְהָעָםve/ha/AMand the peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיִשָּׁמֵדyish/sha/MEDshall be destroyedוְנָפוֹץve/na/FOTSand scatteredבֵּיןbenamongכׇּלkolallהַגּוֹיִם׃hag/go/YIMthe nations

    But, verily I say unto you, that desolation shall come upon this generation as a thief in the night, and this people shall be destroyed and scattered among all nations.

20. 20

    וְהַהֵיכָלve/ha/he/KHALand the templeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַתֶּםat/TEMyouרוֹאִיםro/IMseeעַתָּהat/TAnowיֻשְׁלַךְyush/LAKHshall be thrown downעַדadthatלֹאlonotתִשָּׁאֵרtish/sha/ERshall be leftאֶבֶןE/venstoneעַלaluponאָבֶן׃a/VENstone

    And this temple which ye now see shall be thrown down that there shall not be left one stone upon another.

21. 21

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכִּיkithatדּוֹרdorthe generationהַיְּהוּדִיםhay/Ye/hu/DIMof the Jewsהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלֹאlonotיַעֲבֹרya/a/VORshall pass awayעַדaduntilבּוֹאbothe comingכׇּלkolof everyשַׁמָּהsham/MAdesolationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI toldלָכֶםla/KHEMyouעֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMconcerning them

    And it shall come to pass, that this generation of Jews shall not pass away until every desolation which I have told you concerning them shall come to pass.

22. 22

    אַתֶּםat/TEMyouאֹמְרִיםom/RIMsayכִּיkithatיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatיָבוֹאya/VOcomesקֵץketsthe endהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMof the worldוְכֵןve/KHENand alsoאַתֶּםat/TEMyouאֹמְרִיםom/RIMsayכִּיkithatיְדַעְתֶּםye/da/TEMyou knowכִּיkithatהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the earthיַעַבְרוּ׃ya/av/RUshall pass away

    Ye say that ye know that the end of the world cometh; ye say also that ye know that the heavens and the earth shall pass away;

23. 23

    וּבָזֶהu/va/ZEand in thisאַתֶּםat/TEMyouאֹמְרִיםom/RIMsayאֱמֶתe/METthe truthכִּיkiforכֵּןkensoהוּאhuit isאַךְakhbutהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI toldלָכֶםla/KHEMyouלֹאlonotיַעַבְרוּya/av/RUshall pass awayעַדaduntilקוּםkumshall be fulfilledהַכֹּל׃hak/KOLall

    And in this ye say truly, for so it is; but these things which I have told you shall not pass away until all shall be fulfilled.

24. 24

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI toldלָכֶםla/KHEMyouעַלalconcerningיְרוּשָׁלַיִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemוּבְבוֹאu/ve/VOand when shall comeהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַהוּאha/HUthatשְׁאֵרִיתshe/e/RITa remnantתִּזָּרֶהtiz/za/REshall be scatteredבֵּיןbenamongכׇּלkolallהַגּוֹיִם׃hag/go/YIMthe nations

    And this I have told you concerning Jerusalem; and when that day shall come, shall a remnant be scattered among all nations;

25. 25

    אַךְakhbutיֵאָסְפוּye/a/se/FUthey shall be gatheredשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainאַךְakhbutיִשָּׁאֲרוּyish/sha/a/RUthey shall remainעַדaduntilמְלֹאתme/LOTthe fulnessעִתּוֹתit/TOTof the timesהַגּוֹיִם׃hag/Go/YIMof the Gentiles

    But they shall be gathered again; but they shall remain until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

    וּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand in the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatיִשָּׁמַעyish/sha/MAshall be heardשֵׁמַעSHE/maofמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarsוּשְׁמוּעוֹתu/she/mu/OTand rumorsמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTof warsוְכׇלve/KHOLand the wholeהָאָרֶץha/A/retsearthתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beבִּמְהוּמָהbim/hu/MAin commotionוְלֵבve/LEVand the heartאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menיִמַּסyim/MASshall failוְיֹאמְרוּve/yo/me/RUand they shall sayכִּיkithatהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristמְאַחֵרme/a/CHERdelaysלָבוֹאla/VOhis comingעַדaduntilקֵץketsthe endהָאָרֶץ׃ha/a/RETSof the earth

    And in that day shall be heard of wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men's hearts shall fail them, and they shall say that Christ delayeth his coming until the end of the earth.

27. 27

    וְאַהֲבַתve/a/ha/VATand the loveאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMof menתָּפוּגta/FUGshall wax coldוְהֶעָוֹןve/he/a/VONand iniquityיִרְבֶּה׃yir/BEshall abound

    And the love of men shall wax cold, and iniquity shall abound.

28. 28

    וּבְבוֹאu/ve/VOand when shall comeעִתּוֹתit/TOTthe timesהַגּוֹיִםhag/Go/YIMof the Gentilesיִבָּקַעyib/ba/KAshall break forthאוֹרora lightבֵּיןbenamongהַיּוֹשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMthem that sitבַּחֹשֶׁךְba/CHO/shekhin darknessוְהוּאve/HUand itיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beמְלֹאme/LOthe fulnessבְשׂוֹרָתִי׃ve/so/ra/TIof my gospel

    And when the times of the Gentiles is come in, a light shall break forth among them that sit in darkness, and it shall be the fulness of my gospel;

29. 29

    אַךְakhbutלֹאlonotיְקַבְּלוּהָye/kab/be/lu/HAthey receive itכִּיkiforלֹאlonotיָבִינוּya/VI/nuthey perceiveהָאוֹרha/ORthe lightוְיָסִירוּve/ya/SI/ruand they turnלְבָבָםle/va/VAMtheir heartsמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meבִּגְלַלbig/LALbecause ofמִצְוֹתmits/VOTthe preceptsאֲנָשִׁים׃a/na/SHIMof men

    But they receive it not; for they perceive not the light, and they turn their hearts from me because of the precepts of men.

30. 30

    וּבַדּוֹרu/vad/DORand in the generationהַהוּאha/HUthatיִמָּלְאוּyim/ma/le/Ushall be fulfilledעִתּוֹתit/TOTthe timesהַגּוֹיִם׃hag/Go/YIMof the Gentiles

    And in that generation shall the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

31. 31

    וְיִהְיוּve/yih/YUand there shall beאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenעוֹמְדִיםom/DIMstandingבַּדּוֹרbad/DORin the generationהַהוּאha/HUthatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotיַעַבְרוּya/av/RUshall pass awayעַדaduntilרְאוֹתָםre/o/TAMthey shall seeשׁוֹטshota scourgeשׁוֹטֵףsho/TEFoverflowingכִּיkiforמַגֵּפָהmag/ge/FAa sicknessמְשַׁמֶּמֶתme/sham/ME/metdesolatingתְּכַסֶּהte/khas/SEshall coverהָאָרֶץ׃ha/a/RETSthe land

    And there shall be men standing in that generation, that shall not pass until they shall see an overflowing scourge; for a desolating sickness shall cover the land.

32. 32

    אַךְakhbutתַּלְמִידַיtal/mi/DAYmy disciplesיַעַמְדוּya/am/DUshall standבִּמְקוֹמוֹתbim/ko/MOTin placesקֹדֶשׁKO/deshof holinessוְלֹאve/LOand notיִמּוֹטוּyim/MO/tushall be movedאַךְakhbutבֵּיןbenamongהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenיָרִימוּya/RI/mushall lift upקוֹלָםko/LAMtheir voicesוִיקַלְּלוּvi/kal/le/LUand curseאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוְיָמוּתוּ׃ve/ya/mu/TUand die

    But my disciples shall stand in holy places, and shall not be moved; but among the wicked, men shall lift up their voices and curse God and die.

33. 33

    וְיִהְיוּve/yih/YUand there shall beרְעָשִׁיםre/a/SHIMearthquakesגַּםgamalsoבִּמְקוֹמוֹתbim/ko/MOTin placesשׁוֹנִיםsho/NIMdiversוְשַׁמּוֹתve/sham/MOTand desolationsרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyאַךְakhyetאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenיַקְשׁוּyak/SHUwill hardenלְבָבָםle/va/VAMtheir heartsנֶגְדִּיneg/DIagainst meוְיִשְׂאוּve/yis/Uand they will take upחֶרֶבCHE/revthe swordאִישׁishoneאֶלelagainstרֵעֵהוּre/E/huanotherוְיַהַרְגוּve/ya/har/GUand they will killאִישׁishoneאֶת־רֵעֵהוּ׃et-re/e/HUanother

    And there shall be earthquakes also in divers places, and many desolations; yet men will harden their hearts against me, and they will take up the sword, one against another, and they will kill one another.

34. 34

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tispokeהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֶלeluntoתַּלְמִידַיtal/mi/DAYmy disciplesנִבְהֲלוּ׃niv/ha/LUthey were troubled

    And now, when I the Lord had spoken these words unto my disciples, they were troubled.

35. 35

    וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidלָהֶםla/HEMunto themאַלaldo notתִּבָּהֲלוּtib/ba/ha/LUbe you troubledכִּיkiforבְּבוֹאbe/VOwhen shall comeכׇּלkolallהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseתֵּדְעוּted/Uyou may knowכִּיkithatהַהַבְטָחוֹתha/hav/ta/CHOTthe promisesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֻבְטְחוּhuv/te/CHUwere promisedלָכֶםla/KHEMyouיָקוּמוּ׃ya/ku/MUshall be fulfilled

    And I said unto them: Be not troubled, for, when all these things shall come to pass, ye may know that the promises which have been made unto you shall be fulfilled.

36. 36

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenיָחֵלya/CHELshall beginהָאוֹרha/ORthe lightלְהִבָּקַעle/hib/ba/KAto break forthוְהָיָהve/ha/YAit shall beאִתָּםit/TAMwith themכְּמָשָׁלke/ma/SHALlike a parableאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַרְאֶהar/EI will showלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    And when the light shall begin to break forth, it shall be with them like unto a parable which I will show you—

37. 37

    הַבִּיטוּhab/BI/tulookוּרְאוּu/re/Uand beholdעֲצֵיa/TSEthe treesהַתְּאֵנָהhat/te/e/NAof the figוּרְאוּu/re/Uand you seeאֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּעֵינֵיכֶםbe/e/ne/KHEMwith your eyesוְתֹאמְרוּve/to/me/RUand you sayכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenיָחֵלּוּya/chel/LUthey beginלְהַפְרִיחַle/haf/RI/achto shoot forthוַעֲלֵיהֶםva/a/le/HEMand their leavesעוֹדodare yetרַכִּיםrak/KIMtenderכִּיkiforקָרוֹבka/ROVis now nigh at handהַקַּיִץ׃hak/ka/YITSthe summer

    Ye look and behold the fig trees, and ye see them with your eyes, and ye say when they begin to shoot forth, and their leaves are yet tender, that summer is now nigh at hand;

38. 38

    כֵּןkeneven soיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall it beבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatבִּרְאוֹתָםbir/o/TAMwhen they shall seeאֶת־כׇּלet-kolallהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאָזazthenיֵדְעוּyed/Ushall they knowכִּיkithatקְרוֹבָהke/ro/VAis nighהַשָּׁעָה׃hash/sha/Athe hour

    Even so it shall be in that day when they shall see all these things, then shall they know that the hour is nigh.

39. 39

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beהַיָּרֵאhay/ya/REhe that fearsאֹתִיo/TImeיְצַפֶּהye/tsap/PEshall be looking forthלְיוֹםle/YOMfor the dayיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatלָבוֹאla/VOto comeגַּםgamevenלְאֹתוֹתle/o/TOTfor the signsבּוֹאboof the comingבֶּןBenof the Sonהָאָדָם׃ha/A/DAMof Man

    And it shall come to pass that he that feareth me shall be looking forth for the great day of the Lord to come, even for the signs of the coming of the Son of Man.

40. 40

    וְיִרְאוּve/yir/Uand they shall seeאֹתוֹתo/TOTsignsוּמוֹפְתִיםu/mof/TIMand wondersכִּיkiforיֵרָאוּye/ra/Uthey shall be shownבַשָּׁמַיִםvash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensמִמַּעַלmim/MA/alaboveוּבָאָרֶץu/va/A/retsand in the earthמִתָּחַת׃mit/ta/CHATbeneath

    And they shall see signs and wonders, for they shall be shown forth in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath.

41. 41

    וְיִרְאוּve/yir/Uand they shall beholdדָּםdambloodוָאֵשׁva/ESHand fireוְתִימְרוֹתve/ti/me/ROTand vaporsעָשָׁן׃a/SHANof smoke

    And they shall behold blood, and fire, and vapors of smoke.

42. 42

    וְלִפְנֵיve/lif/NEand beforeבּוֹאbothe comingיוֹםyomof the dayיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunיֶחְשַׁךְyech/SHAKHshall be darkenedוְהַיָּרֵחַve/hay/ya/RE/achand the moonיֵהָפֵךְye/ha/FEKHshall be turnedלְדָםle/DAMinto bloodוְהַכּוֹכָבִיםve/hak/ko/kha/VIMand the starsיִפְּלוּyip/pe/LUshall fallמִןminfromהַשָּׁמָיִם׃hash/sha/ma/YIMheaven

    And before the day of the Lord shall come, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon be turned into blood, and the stars fall from heaven.

43. 43

    וְהַשְּׁאֵרִיתve/hash/she/e/RITand the remnantתֵּאָסֵףte/a/SEFshall be gatheredאֶלeluntoהַמָּקוֹםham/ma/KOMthe placeהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    And the remnant shall be gathered unto this place;

44. 44

    וְאָזve/AZand thenיְצַפּוּye/tsap/PUthey shall lookלִיlifor meוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאָבוֹאa/VOI will comeוְיִרְאוּנִיve/yir/U/niand they shall see meבְּעַנְנֵיbe/an/NEin the cloudsהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimof heavenלָבוּשׁla/VUSHclothed withכֹּחַKO/achpowerוְכָבוֹדve/kha/VODand gloryגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatעִםimwithכׇּלkolallמַלְאֲכֵיmal/a/KHEthe angelsקֹדֶשׁKO/deshof holinessוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he thatאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nunotמְצַפֶּהme/tsap/PEwatchesלִיlifor meיִכָּרֵת׃yik/ka/RETshall be cut off

    And then they shall look for me, and, behold, I will come; and they shall see me in the clouds of heaven, clothed with power and great glory; with all the holy angels; and he that watches not for me shall be cut off.

45. 45

    אַךְakhbutלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeנְפֹלne/FOLshall fallזְרוֹעַze/RO/athe armיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordיִתְקַעyit/KAshall soundמַלְאָךְmal/AKHan angelבְּשׁוֹפָרוֹbe/sho/fa/ROhis trumpוְהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםve/hak/ke/do/SHIMand the saintsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָשְׁנוּya/she/NUsleptיֵצְאוּyets/Ushall come forthלִקְרָאתִיlik/ra/TIto meet meבֶּעָנָן׃be/a/NANin the cloud

    But before the arm of the Lord shall fall, an angel shall sound his trump, and the saints that have slept shall come forth to meet me in the cloud.

46. 46

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאִםimifיְשַׁנְתֶּםye/shan/TEMyou sleptבְּשָׁלוֹםbe/sha/LOMin peaceאַשְׁרֵיכֶםash/re/KHEMblessed are youכִּיkiforכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasאַתֶּםat/TEMyouרוֹאִיםro/IMbeholdאֹתִיo/TImeעַתָּהat/TAnowוְיוֹדְעִיםve/yod/IMand knowכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NIIהוּאhuam heכֵּןkeneven soתָּבֹאוּta/VO/ushall you comeאֵלַיe/LAYunto meוְנַפְשְׁכֶםve/naf/she/KHEMand your soulsתִּחְיֶהtich/YEshall liveוּגְאֻלַּתְכֶםu/ge/ul/lat/KHEMand your redemptionתֻּשְׁלַםtush/LAMshall be perfectedוְהַקְּדוֹשִׁיםve/hak/ke/do/SHIMand the saintsיֵצְאוּyets/Ushall come forthמֵאַרְבַּעme/ar/BAfrom the fourכַּנְפוֹתkan/FOTquartersהָאָרֶץ׃ha/a/RETSof the earth

    Wherefore, if ye have slept in peace blessed are you; for as you now behold me and know that I am, even so shall ye come unto me and your souls shall live, and your redemption shall be perfected; and the saints shall come forth from the four quarters of the earth.

47. 47

    אָזazthenתִּפֹּלtip/POLshall fallזְרוֹעַze/RO/athe armיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordעַלaluponהַגּוֹיִם׃hag/go/YIMthe nations

    Then shall the arm of the Lord fall upon the nations.

48. 48

    וְאָזve/AZand thenיָשִׂיםya/SIMshall setיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordרַגְלוֹrag/LOhis footעַלaluponהָהָרha/HARthe mountהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְיִבָּקַעve/yib/ba/KAand it shall cleaveלִשְׁנַיִםlish/NA/yimin twainוְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the earthתִּרְעַדtir/ADshall trembleוְתָנוּעַve/ta/NU/aand reelאָנֶהA/netoוָאָנָהva/A/naand froוְהַשָּׁמַיִםve/hash/sha/MA/yimand the heavensגַּםgamalsoיִרְעֲשׁוּ׃yir/a/SHUshall shake

    And then shall the Lord set his foot upon this mount, and it shall cleave in twain, and the earth shall tremble, and reel to and fro, and the heavens also shall shake.

49. 49

    וַיהוָהve-Adonaiand the Lordיִתֵּןyit/TENshall utterקוֹלוֹko/LOhis voiceוְכׇל־אַפְסֵיve/KHOL-af/SEand all the endsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthיִשְׁמָעוּyish/MA/ushall hearוְגוֹיֵיve/go/YEand the nationsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthיִסְפְּדוּyis/pe/DUshall mournוְהַלֹּעֲגִיםve/hal/lo/a/GIMand they that laughedיִרְאוּyir/Ushall seeאֶת־אִוַּלְתָּם׃et-iv/val/TAMtheir folly

    And the Lord shall utter his voice, and all the ends of the earth shall hear it; and the nations of the earth shall mourn, and they that have laughed shall see their folly.

50. 50

    וְאֵידve/EDand calamityיְכַסֶּהye/khas/SEshall coverהַלֵּץhal/LETSthe mockerוְהַבָּזve/hab/BAZand the scornerיִכָּלֶהyik/ka/LEshall be consumedוְשֹׁקְדֵיve/SHOK/deand they that watchאָוֶןA/venfor iniquityיִכָּרְתוּyik/ka/re/TUshall be hewn downוְיֻשְׁלְכוּve/yush/le/KHUand castלָאֵשׁ׃la/ESHinto the fire

    And calamity shall cover the mocker, and the scorner shall be consumed; and they that have watched for iniquity shall be hewn down and cast into the fire.

51. 51

    וְאָזve/AZand thenהַיְּהוּדִיםhay/Ye/hu/DIMthe Jewsיַבִּיטוּyab/BI/tushall lookאֵלַיe/LAYupon meוְיֹאמְרוּve/yo/me/RUand sayמָהmawhat areהַמַּכּוֹתham/mak/KOTthe woundsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseבְּיָדֶיךָbe/ya/DE/khain your handsוּבְרַגְלֶיךָ׃u/ve/rag/le/KHAand in your feet

    And then shall the Jews look upon me and say: What are these wounds in thine hands and in thy feet?

52. 52

    אָזazthenיֵדְעוּyed/Ushall they knowכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NII amיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordכִּיkiforאֹמַרo/MARI will sayלָהֶםla/HEMunto themהַמַּכּוֹתham/mak/KOTthe woundsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseהֵםhemareהַמַּכּוֹתham/mak/KOTthe woundsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichהֻכֵּיתִיhuk/KE/tiI was woundedבֵּיתbetin the houseמְאַהֲבָיme/a/ha/VAYof my friendsאֲנִיa/NIIהוּאhuam heהַנִּשָּׂאhan/nis/SAwho was lifted upאֲנִיa/NII amיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנִצְלַבnits/LAVwas crucifiedאֲנִיa/NII amבֶּןBenthe Sonהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMof God

    Then shall they know that I am the Lord; for I will say unto them: These wounds are the wounds with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. I am he who was lifted up. I am Jesus that was crucified. I am the Son of God.

53. 53

    וְאָזve/AZand thenיִבְכּוּyiv/KUshall they weepבִּגְלַלbig/LALbecause ofעֲוֹנוֹתֵיהֶםa/vo/no/te/HEMtheir iniquitiesאָזazthenיִסְפְּדוּyis/pe/DUshall they lamentכִּיkibecauseרָדְפוּra/de/FUthey persecutedמַלְכָּם׃mal/KAMtheir king

    And then shall they weep because of their iniquities; then shall they lament because they persecuted their king.

54. 54

    וְאָזve/AZand thenגּוֹיֵיgo/YEthe nationsהַנֵּכָרhan/ne/KHARof the heathenיִגָּאֲלוּyig/ga/a/LUshall be redeemedוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand they whoלֹאlonoיָדְעוּya/de/Uknewתּוֹרָהto/RAlawיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beלָהֶםla/HEMunto themחֵלֶקCHE/leka partבַּתְּחִיָּהbat/te/chiy/YAin the resurrectionהָרִאשׁוֹנָהha/ri/sho/NAthe firstוְיֵקַלve/ye/KALand it shall be tolerableלָהֶם׃la/HEMfor them

    And then shall the heathen nations be redeemed, and they that knew no law shall have part in the first resurrection; and it shall be tolerable for them.

55. 55

    וְהַשָּׂטָןve/has/Sa/TANand Satanיֵאָסֵרye/a/SERshall be boundוְלֹאve/LOand notיִהְיֶה־לּוֹyih/YE-loshall he haveמָקוֹםma/KOMplaceבְּלִבּוֹתbe/lib/BOTin the heartsבְּנֵיbe/NEof the childrenהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMof men

    And Satan shall be bound, that he shall have no place in the hearts of the children of men.

56. 56

    וּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand at the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatבְּבֹאִיbe/vo/Iwhen I shall comeבִּכְבוֹדִיbikh/vo/DIin my gloryיִמָּלֵאyim/MA/leshall be fulfilledהַמָּשָׁלham/ma/SHALthe parableאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI spokeעַלalconcerningעֶשֶׂרE/serthe tenהַבְּתוּלוֹת׃hab/be/tu/LOTvirgins

    And at that day, when I shall come in my glory, shall the parable be fulfilled which I spake concerning the ten virgins.

57. 57

    כִּיkiforהַחֲכָמִיםha/cha/kha/MIMthey that are wiseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoקִבְּלוּkib/be/LUreceivedהָאֱמֶתha/e/METthe truthוְלָקְחוּve/la/ke/CHUand tookאֶת־רוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁet-RU/ach-hak/KO/deshthe Holy Spiritלְמַדְרִיךְle/mad/RIKHfor their guideוְלֹאve/LOand notנִתְעוּnit/Uhave been deceivedאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youלֹאlonotיִכָּרְתוּyik/ka/re/TUthey shall be hewn downוְיֻשְׁלְכוּve/yush/le/KHUand castלָאֵשׁla/ESHinto the fireכִּי־אִםki-imbutיַעַמְדוּya/am/DUshall abideבַיּוֹם׃vay/YOMthe day

    For they that are wise and have received the truth, and have taken the Holy Spirit for their guide, and have not been deceived—verily I say unto you, they shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire, but shall abide the day.

58. 58

    וְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the earthתִּנָּתֵןtin/na/TENshall be givenלָהֶםla/HEMthemלְנַחֲלָהle/na/cha/LAfor an inheritanceוְיִרְבּוּve/yir/BUand they shall multiplyוְיֶחֶזְקוּve/ye/chez/KUand wax strongוּבְנֵיהֶםu/ve/ne/HEMand their childrenיִגְדְּלוּyig/de/LUshall grow upבְלֹאve/LOwithoutחֵטְאchetsinלִישׁוּעָה׃li/shu/Aunto salvation

    And the earth shall be given unto them for an inheritance; and they shall multiply and wax strong, and their children shall grow up without sin unto salvation.

59. 59

    כִּיkiforיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beבְתוֹכָםve/to/KHAMin their midstוּכְבוֹדוֹu/khe/vo/DOand his gloryיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themוְהוּאve/HUand heיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beמַלְכָּםmal/KAMtheir kingוּמְחֹקְקָם׃u/me/chok/KAMand their lawgiver

    For the Lord shall be in their midst, and his glory shall be upon them, and he will be their king and their lawgiver.

60. 60

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youלֹאlonotיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENshall be givenלָכֶםla/KHEMyouלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowעוֹדodany furtherעַלalconcerningהַפֶּרֶקhap/PE/rekthe chapterהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisעַדaduntilתַּרְגּוּםtar/GUMthe translationהַבְּרִיתhab/Be/RITof the Testamentהַחֲדָשָׁהha/Cha/da/SHAthe Newוּבָהּu/VAand in itיִגָּלוּyig/ga/LUshall be revealedכׇּלkolallהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/el/LEthese

    And now, behold, I say unto you, it shall not be given unto you to know any further concerning this chapter, until the New Testament be translated, and in it all these things shall be made known;

61. 61

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgive itלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youעַתָּהat/TAnowלְתַרְגְּמוֹle/tar/ge/MOthat you may translate itלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתּוּכְנוּtukh/NUyou may be preparedלַדְּבָרִיםlad/de/va/RIMfor the thingsהַבָּאִים׃hab/ba/IMto come

    Wherefore I give unto you that ye may now translate it, that ye may be prepared for the things to come.

62. 62

    כִּיkiforאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMthingsגְּדוֹלִיםge/do/LIMgreatמְחַכִּיםme/chak/KIMawaitלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyou

    For verily I say unto you, that great things await you;

63. 63

    אַתֶּםat/TEMyouשׁוֹמְעִיםshom/IMhearשֵׁמַעSHE/maofמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarsבַּאֲרָצוֹתba/a/ra/TSOTin landsרְחוֹקוֹתre/cho/KOTforeignאַךְakhbutהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youקְרוֹבוֹתke/ro/VOTnighהֵנָּהHEN/nathey areאַףafevenעַלalatפִּתְחֵיכֶםpit/che/KHEMyour doorsוּבְעוֹדu/ve/ODand withinשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyearsמְעַטּוֹתme/at/TOTnot manyתִּשְׁמְעוּtish/me/Uyou shall hearשֵׁמַעSHE/maofמִלְחָמוֹתmil/cha/MOTwarsבְּאַרְצְכֶם׃be/ar/tse/KHEMin your own lands

    Ye hear of wars in foreign lands; but, behold, I say unto you, they are nigh, even at your doors, and not many years hence ye shall hear of wars in your own lands.

64. 64

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tisaidצְאוּtse/Ugather you outמִןminfromאַרְצוֹתar/TSOTthe landsהַמִּזְרָחham/miz/RACHeasternהֵאָסְפוּhe/a/se/FUassemble yourselvesיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherזִקְנֵיzik/NEeldersכְּנֵסִיָּתִיke/ne/siy/ya/TIof my churchלְכוּle/KHUgoאֶלelintoאַרְצוֹתar/TSOTthe countriesהַמַּעֲרָבham/ma/a/RAVwesternקִרְאוּkir/Ucallאֶלeluponהַיּוֹשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMthe inhabitantsלָשׁוּבla/SHUVto repentוּכְפִיu/khe/FIand inasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vuthey do repentבְּנוּbe/NUbuild upכְּנֵסִיּוֹתke/ne/siy/YOTchurchesלִי׃liunto me

    Wherefore I, the Lord, have said, gather ye out from the eastern lands, assemble ye yourselves together ye elders of my church; go ye forth into the western countries, call upon the inhabitants to repent, and inasmuch as they do repent, build up churches unto me.

65. 65

    וּבְלֵבu/ve/LEVand with heartאֶחָדe/CHADoneוּבְדַעַתu/ve/DA/atand with mindאַחַתa/CHAToneאִסְפוּis/FUgather upרְכוּשְׁכֶםre/khush/KHEMyour richesלִקְנוֹתlik/NOTthat you may purchaseנַחֲלָהna/cha/LAan inheritanceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתְּמֻנֶּהte/mun/NEshall be appointedלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youאַחֲרֵי־כֵן׃a/cha/RE-khenhereafter

    And with one heart and with one mind, gather up your riches that ye may purchase an inheritance which shall hereafter be appointed unto you.

66. 66

    וְתִקָּרֵאve/tik/ka/REand it shall be calledיְרוּשָׁלַיִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemהַחֲדָשָׁהha/Cha/da/SHAthe NewאֶרֶץE/retsa landשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMof peaceעִירira cityמִקְלָטmik/LATof refugeמְקוֹםme/KOMa placeמִבְטָחmiv/TACHof safetyלִקְדוֹשֵׁיlik/do/SHEfor the saintsאֵלelof Godעֶלְיוֹן׃El/YONMost High

    And it shall be called the New Jerusalem, a land of peace, a city of refuge, a place of safety for the saints of the Most High God;

67. 67

    וּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the gloryיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beשָׁםshamthereוְאֵימַתve/E/matand the terrorיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordגַּםgamalsoתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beשָׁםshamthereעַדadinsomuchכִּיkithatהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedלֹאlonotיָבֹאוּya/VO/ushall comeאֵלֶיהָe/LE/haunto itוְתִקָּרֵאve/tik/ka/REand it shall be calledצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONZion

    And the glory of the Lord shall be there, and the terror of the Lord also shall be there, insomuch that the wicked will not come unto it, and it shall be called Zion.

68. 68

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבֵּיןbenamongהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedכׇּלkoleveryאִישׁishmanאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotיִשָּׂאyis/SAwill takeחַרְבּוֹchar/BOhis swordעַלalagainstרֵעֵהוּre/E/huhis neighborיָנוּסya/NUSmust needs fleeאֶלeluntoצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionלְמִבְטָח׃le/miv/TACHfor safety

    And it shall come to pass among the wicked, that every man that will not take his sword against his neighbor must needs flee unto Zion for safety.

69. 69

    וְיֵאָסְפוּve/ye/a/se/FUand there shall be gatheredאֵלֶיהָe/LE/haunto itמִכׇּלmik/KOLout of everyגּוֹיgoynationתַּחַתTA/chatunderהַשָּׁמָיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenוְהוּאve/HUand itיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beהָעָםha/AMthe peopleהַיָּחִידhay/ya/CHIDthe onlyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotיִלָּחֵםyil/la/CHEMshall be at warאִישׁishoneעִםimwithרֵעֵהוּ׃re/e/HUanother

    And there shall be gathered unto it out of every nation under heaven; and it shall be the only people that shall not be at war one with another.

70. 70

    וְיֵאָמֵרve/ye/a/MERand it shall be saidבֵּיןbenamongהָרְשָׁעִיםha/re/sha/IMthe wickedאַלallet notנַעֲלֶהna/a/LEus go upלְהִלָּחֵםle/hil/la/CHEMto battleבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONagainst Zionכִּיkiforיוֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitantsצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionנוֹרָאִיםno/ra/IMare terribleלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeלֹאlonotנוּכַלnu/KHALwe canלַעֲמֹד׃la/a/MODstand

    And it shall be said among the wicked: Let us not go up to battle against Zion, for the inhabitants of Zion are terrible; wherefore we cannot stand.

71. 71

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכִּיkithatהַצַּדִּיקִיםhats/tsad/di/KIMthe righteousיֵאָסְפוּye/a/se/FUshall be gatheredמִבֵּיןmib/BENout from amongכׇּלkolallהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMnationsוְיָבֹאוּve/ya/VO/uand shall comeלְצִיּוֹןle/Tsiy/YONto Zionשָׁרִיםsha/RIMsingingבְּשִׁירֵיbe/shi/REwith songsשִׂמְחַתsim/CHATof joyעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeverlasting

    And it shall come to pass that the righteous shall be gathered out from among all nations, and shall come to Zion, singing with songs of everlasting joy.

72. 72

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youשִׁמְרוּshim/RUkeepהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseמִלָּצֵאתmil/la/TSETfrom going forthאֶלeluntoהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָכוֹןna/KHONit is expedientבִּיbiin meלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתַּשְׁלִימוּtash/li/MUyou may accomplishאֶת־הַמְּלָאכָהet-ham/me/la/KHAthe workהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the eyesהָעָםha/AMof the peopleוּלְעֵינֵיu/le/e/NEand in the eyesאֹיְבֵיכֶםoy/ve/KHEMof your enemiesלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatלֹאlonotיֵדְעוּyed/Uthey may knowמַעֲשֵׂיכֶםma/a/se/KHEMyour worksעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהִשְׁלַמְתֶּםhish/lam/TEMyou accomplishedאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthe thing whichצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    And now I say unto you, keep these things from going abroad unto the world until it is expedient in me, that ye may accomplish this work in the eyes of the people, and in the eyes of your enemies, that they may not know your works until ye have accomplished the thing which I have commanded you;

73. 73

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatבְּדַעְתָּםbe/da/TAMwhen they shall know itיִתְבּוֹנְנוּyit/bon/NUthey may considerבַדְּבָרִיםvad/de/va/RIMin the thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/el/LEthese

    That when they shall know it, that they may consider these things.

74. 74

    כִּיkiforבְּהֵרָאוֹתbe/he/ra/OTwhen shall appearיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beנוֹרָאno/RAterribleלָהֶםla/HEMunto themלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתֹּאחֲזֵםto/cha/ZEMmay seize themיִרְאָהyir/Afearוְיַעַמְדוּve/ya/am/DUand they shall standמֵרָחוֹקme/ra/CHOKafar offוְיֶחֱרָדוּ׃ve/ye/che/ra/DUand tremble

    For when the Lord shall appear he shall be terrible unto them, that fear may seize upon them, and they shall stand afar off and tremble.

75. 75

    וְכׇלve/KHOLand allהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMnationsיִירְאוּyi/re/Ushall be afraidמִפַּחַדmip/PA/chadbecause of the terrorיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordוּמִכֹּחַu/mik/KO/achand because of the powerגְּבוּרָתוֹge/vu/ra/TOof his mightכֵּןkeneven soיְהִיye/HIbe itאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    And all nations shall be afraid because of the terror of the Lord, and the power of his might. Even so. Amen.
