   Thus saith the Lord God, the Mighty One of Israel: Behold, I say unto you, my servant Edward, that you are blessed, and your sins are forgiven you, and you are called to preach my gospel as with the voice of a trump;

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאָשִׂיםa/SIMwill layיָדִיya/DImy handעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youבְּיַדbe/YADby the handעַבְדִּיav/DIof my servantסִידְנִיSi/de/NISidneyרִיגְדּוֹןRig/DONRigdonוּתְקַבֵּלu/te/kab/BELand you shall receiveרוּחִיRu/CHImy Spiritרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshthe Holy Ghostגַּםgamevenהַמְּנַחֵםham/Me/na/CHEMthe Comforterאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְלַמֶּדְךָye/lam/med/KHAshall teach youדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe thingsשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceableהַמַּלְכוּת׃ham/mal/KHUTof the kingdom

   And I will lay my hand upon you by the hand of my servant Sidney Rigdon, and you shall receive my Spirit, the Holy Ghost, even the Comforter, which shall teach you the peaceable things of the kingdom;

   וְהִגַּדְתָּve/hig/gad/TAand you shall declareבְּקוֹלbe/KOLwith a voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLloudלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהוֹשַׁע־נָאHo/SHA-naHosannaבָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed beשֵׁםshemthe nameאֵלelof Godעֶלְיוֹן׃el/YONthe most high

   And you shall declare it with a loud voice, saying: Hosanna, blessed be the name of the most high God.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהַקְּרִיאָהhak/ke/ri/Athe callingהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְהַמִּצְוָהve/ham/mits/VAand the commandmentהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisאֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלְךָle/KHAyouעַלalconcerningכׇּלkolallאָדָם׃a/DAMmen

   And now this calling and commandment give I unto you concerning all men—

   כׇּלkolas many asהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMshall comeלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeעֲבָדַיa/va/DAYmy servantsסִידְנִיSi/de/NISidneyרִיגְדּוֹןRig/DONRigdonוְיוֹסֵףve/Yo/SEFand JosephסְמִיתSe/MITSmithהַבֵּןHab/BENJunוּמְקַבְּלִיםu/me/kab/be/LIMand embracingאֶת־הַקְּרִיאָהet-hak/ke/ri/Athe callingהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְהַמִּצְוָהve/ham/mits/VAand the commandmentהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisיִסָּמְכוּyis/sa/me/KHUshall be ordainedוְיִשָּׁלְחוּve/yish/sha/le/CHUand sent forthלְהַטִּיףle/hat/TIFto preachבְּשׂוֹרַתbe/so/RATthe gospelעוֹלָםo/LAMeverlastingבַּגּוֹיִם׃bag/go/YIMamong the nations

   That as many as shall come before my servants Sidney Rigdon and Joseph Smith, Jun., embracing this calling and commandment, shall be ordained and sent forth to preach the everlasting gospel among the nations—

   קֹרְאִיםkor/IMcryingתְּשׁוּבָהte/shu/VArepentanceלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהִמָּלְטוּhim/ma/le/TUsave yourselvesמִןminfromהַדּוֹרhad/DORthe generationהָעִקֵּשׁha/ik/KESHuntowardהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוּצְאוּu/tse/Uand come forthמִןminout ofהָאֵשׁha/ESHthe fireוְשִׂנְאוּve/sin/Uhatingגַּםgamevenאֶת־הַבֶּגֶדet-hab/BE/gedthe garmentsהַנִּכְתָּםhan/nikh/TAMspottedבַּבָּשָׂר׃bab/ba/SARwith the flesh

   Crying repentance, saying: Save yourselves from this untoward generation, and come forth out of the fire, hating even the garments spotted with the flesh.

   וְהַמִּצְוָהve/ham/mits/VAand the commandmentהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisתִּנָּתֵןtin/na/TENshall be givenלְזִקְנֵיle/zik/NEunto the eldersכְּנֵסִיָּתִיke/ne/siy/ya/TIof my churchכׇּלkoleveryאִישׁishmanאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְקַבְּלֶנָּהye/kab/be/len/NAwill embrace itבְּתֹםbe/TOMwith singlenessלֵבָבle/VAVof heartיִסָּמֵךְyis/sa/MEKHmay be ordainedוְיִשָּׁלַחve/yish/sha/LACHand sent forthכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven asדִּבַּרְתִּי׃dib/bar/TII spoke

   And this commandment shall be given unto the elders of my church, that every man which will embrace it with singleness of heart may be ordained and sent forth, even as I have spoken.

   I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God; wherefore, gird up your loins and I will suddenly come to my temple. Even so. Amen.
