   And now it came to pass that there were a great multitude gathered together, of the people of Nephi, round about the temple which was in the land Bountiful; and they were marveling and wondering one with another, and were showing one to another the great and marvelous change which had taken place.

   And they were also conversing about this Jesus Christ, of whom the sign had been given concerning his death.

   And it came to pass that while they were thus conversing one with another, they heard a voice as if it came out of heaven; and they cast their eyes round about, for they understood not the voice which they heard; and it was not a harsh voice, neither was it a loud voice; nevertheless, and notwithstanding it being a small voice it did pierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn.

   And it came to pass that again they heard the voice, and they understood it not.

   And again the third time they did hear the voice, and did open their ears to hear it; and their eyes were towards the sound thereof; and they did look steadfastly towards heaven, from whence the sound came.

   And behold, the third time they did understand the voice which they heard; and it said unto them:

   Behold my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified my name—hear ye him.

   And it came to pass, as they understood they cast their eyes up again towards heaven; and behold, they saw a Man descending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe; and he came down and stood in the midst of them; and the eyes of the whole multitude were turned upon him, and they durst not open their mouths, even one to another, and wist not what it meant, for they thought it was an angel that had appeared unto them.

   וַיִּשְׁלַחvay/yish/LACHand he stretched forthאֶת־יָדוֹet-ya/DOhis handוַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeאֶל־הָעָםel-ha/AMunto the peopleלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

   And it came to pass that he stretched forth his hand and spake unto the people, saying:

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהַנְּבִיאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsהֵעִידוּhe/I/dutestifiedכִּיkithatיָבוֹאya/VOshall comeאֶל־הָעוֹלָם׃el-ha/o/LAMinto the world

    Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.

    וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIאוֹרorthe lightהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMof the worldוְחַיָּיוve/chay/YAYVand its lifeוָאֵשְׁתְּva/ESHTand I drankמִכּוֹסmik/KOSout of the cupהַמָּרוֹרham/ma/RORof the bitterאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANwhich gaveלִיlimeהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוָאֲפָאֵרva/a/fa/ERand glorifiedאֶת־הָאָבet-Ha/AVthe Fatherבְּשֵׂאתִיbe/se/TIin my bearingאֶת־חֲטָאֵיet-cha/ta/Ethe sinsהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMof the worldאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבָּהֶםba/HEMin themסָבַלְתִּיsa/val/TII sufferedאֶת־רְצוֹןet-re/TSONthe willהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherבְּכֹלbe/KHOLin all thingsמֵרֹאשׁ׃me/ROSHfrom the beginning

    And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַיִּפֹּלvay/yip/POLand fellכׇל־הֶהָמוֹןkhol-he/ha/MONall the multitudeאָרְצָהAR/tsato the earthכִּיkiforזָכְרוּza/khe/RUthey rememberedכִּיkithatנֶאֱמַרne/e/MARit had been prophesiedבְּקִרְבָּםbe/kir/BAMin their midstכִּיkithatהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristיֵרָאֶהye/ra/Eshould show himselfאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterעֲלוֹתוֹa/lo/TOhis ascensionהַשָּׁמָיְמָה׃hash/sha/MAY/mainto heaven

    And it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words the whole multitude fell to the earth; for they remembered that it had been prophesied among them that Christ should show himself unto them after his ascension into heaven.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto them saying:

    קוּמוּKU/muariseוּבֹאוּu/VO/uand comeאֵלַיe/LAYunto meלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּשְׁלְחוּtish/le/CHUyou may thrustיְדֵיכֶםye/de/KHEMyour handsבְּצִדִּיbe/tsid/DIinto my sideוְגַםve/GAMand alsoלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתָּמֻשּׁוּta/mush/SHUyou may feelאֶת־רֹשֶׁםet-RO/shemthe printsהַמַּסְמְרִיםham/mas/me/RIMof the nailsבְּיָדַיbe/ya/DAYin my handsוּבְרַגְלַיu/ve/rag/LAYand in my feetלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתֵּדְעוּted/Uyou may knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat Iאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe GodיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELof Israelוֵאלֹהֵיve/lo/HEand the Godכׇל־הָאָרֶץkhol-ha/A/retsof all the earthוְכִיve/KHIand thatנֶהֱרַגְתִּיne/he/rag/TII have been slainבְּעַדbe/ADforחֲטָאֵיcha/ta/Ethe sinsהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMof the world

    Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world.

    וַיִּגַּשׁvay/yig/GASHand went forthהֶהָמוֹןhe/ha/MONthe multitudeוַיִּשְׁלְחוּvay/yish/le/CHUand they thrustיְדֵיהֶםye/de/HEMtheir handsבְּצִדּוֹbe/tsid/DOinto his sideוַיָּמֻשּׁוּvay/ya/mush/SHUand they feltאֶת־רֹשֶׁםet-RO/shemthe printsהַמַּסְמְרִיםham/mas/me/RIMof the nailsבְּיָדָיוbe/ya/DAYVin his handsוּבְרַגְלָיוu/ve/rag/LAYVand in his feetוַיַּעֲשׂוּvay/ya/a/SUand they didכֵןkhensoוַיִּגְּשׁוּvay/yig/ge/SHUand they came forthאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶחָדe/CHADby oneעַד־אֲשֶׁרad-a/SHERuntilעָבְרוּa/ve/RUwent forthכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallוַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawבְעֵינֵיהֶםve/e/ne/HEMwith their own eyesוַיָּמֻשּׁוּvay/ya/mush/SHUand they feltבִידֵיהֶםvi/de/HEMwith their handsוַיֵּדְעוּvay/yed/Uand they knewבֶאֱמֶתve/e/METof a suretyוַיָּעִידוּvay/ya/I/duand bore recordכִּי־הוּאki-huthat heאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּתְבוּka/te/VUwroteעָלָיוa/LAYVconcerning himהַנְּבִיאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsכִּיkithatיָבוֹא׃ya/VOshall come

    And it came to pass that the multitude went forth, and thrust their hands into his side, and did feel the prints of the nails in his hands and in his feet; and this they did do, going forth one by one until they had all gone forth, and did see with their eyes and did feel with their hands, and did know of a surety and did bear record, that it was he, of whom it was written by the prophets, that should come.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it happenedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenעָבְרוּa/ve/RUwent forthכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallוַיָּעִידוּvay/ya/I/duand witnessedלְנַפְשָׁםle/naf/SHAMfor themselvesוַיִּזְעֲקוּvay/yiz/a/KUand they criedכֻלָּםkhul/LAMallפֶּהpemouthאֶחָדe/CHADoneלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And when they had all gone forth and had witnessed for themselves, they did cry out with one accord, saying:

    הוֹשַׁע־נָאHo/SHA-naHosannaבָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedשֵׁםshemthe nameאֵלelof GodעֶלְיוֹןEl/YONMost Highוַיִּפְּלוּvay/yip/pe/LUand they fellלְרַגְלֵיle/rag/LEat the feetיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aof Jesusוַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּvay/yish/ta/cha/VUand worshipedלוֹ׃loto him

    Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God! And they did fall down at the feet of Jesus, and did worship him.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeאֶל־נֶפִיel-NE/fito Nephiכִּיkiforהָיָהha/YAwasנֶפִיNE/fiNephiבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midstהֶהָמוֹןhe/ha/MONof the multitudeוַיְצַוvay/TSAVand he commandedאֹתוֹo/TOhimלָגֶשֶׁת׃la/GE/shetto come forth

    And it came to pass that he spake unto Nephi (for Nephi was among the multitude) and he commanded him that he should come forth.

    וַיָּקׇםvay/YA/komand aroseנֶפִיNE/fiNephiוַיִּגַּשׁvay/yig/GASHand went forthוַיִּשְׁתַּחוּvay/yish/TA/chuand bowed himselfלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordוַיְנַשֵּׁקvay/nash/SHEKand kissedאֶת־רַגְלָיו׃et-rag/LAYVhis feet

    And Nephi arose and went forth, and bowed himself before the Lord and did kiss his feet.

    וַיְצַוvay/TSAVand he commandedאֹתוֹo/TOhimהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordלָקוּםla/KUMto riseוַיָּקׇםvay/YA/komand aroseוַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodלְפָנָיו׃le/fa/NAYVbefore him

    And the Lord commanded him that he should arise. And he arose and stood before him.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVunto himהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordנֹתֵןno/TENgiveאֲנִיa/NIIלְךָle/KHAunto youכֹּחַKO/achpowerלְהַטְבִּילle/hat/BILto baptizeאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisבַּעֲלוֹתִיba/a/lo/TIwhen I am ascendedשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainהַשָּׁמָיְמָה׃hash/sha/MAY/mainto heaven

    And the Lord said unto him: I give unto you power that ye shall baptize this people when I am again ascended into heaven.

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONthe Lordגַּםgamalsoלַאֲחֵרִיםla/a/che/RIMto othersוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלָהֶםla/HEMunto themכֵּןkenthusוַיִּתֵּן־לָהֶםvay/yit/TEN-la/HEMhe gave themכֹּחַKO/achpowerלְהַטְבִּילle/hat/BILto baptizeוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themכָּכָהKA/khathusתַטְבִּילוּtat/bi/LUyou shall baptizeוְאַל־יְהִיve/AL-ye/HIand let there be noרִיבrivdisputationsבֵּינֵיכֶם׃be/ne/KHEMamong you

    And again the Lord called others, and said unto them likewise; and he gave unto them power to baptize. And he said unto them: On this wise shall ye baptize; and there shall be no disputations among you.

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhosoיָשׁוּבya/SHUVrepentsמֵחַטֹּאתָיוme/chat/to/TAYVof his sinsבְּדִבְרֵיכֶםbe/div/re/KHEMthrough your wordsוְיַחְפֹּץve/yach/POTSand desiresלְהִטָּבֵלle/hit/ta/VELto be baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameכָּכָהKA/khathusתַטְבִּילוּtat/bi/LUyou shall baptizeאֹתוֹo/TOhimהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdתֵּרְדוּter/DUyou shall go downוְתַעַמְדוּve/ta/am/DUand standבַּמַּיִםbam/MA/yimin the waterוּבִשְׁמִיu/vish/MIand in my nameתַטְבִּילוּtat/bi/LUyou shall baptizeאֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    Verily I say unto you, that whoso repenteth of his sins through your words, and desireth to be baptized in my name, on this wise shall ye baptize them—Behold, ye shall go down and stand in the water, and in my name shall ye baptize them.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתֹּאמְרוּto/me/RUyou shall sayבְּקׇרְאֲכֶםbe/kor/a/KHEMwhen you callאֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMby nameלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And now behold, these are the words which ye shall say, calling them by name, saying:

    בְּשִׁלְטוֹןbe/shil/TONhaving authorityאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANwhich gaveלִיlimeיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמַטְבִּילmat/BILbaptizeאוֹתְךָot/KHAyouבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the nameהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherוְהַבֵּןve/hab/BENand of the Sonוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand of the Holy Ghostאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    Having authority given me of Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

26. 26

    וְאָזve/AZand thenתַּטְבִּילוּtat/bi/LUyou shall immerseאֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּמַּיִםbam/MA/yimin the waterוְתַעֲלוּve/ta/a/LUand come forth againמִן־הַמָּיִם׃min-ham/MA/yimout of the water

    And then shall ye immerse them in the water, and come forth again out of the water.

    וּבַדֶּרֶךְu/vad/DE/rekhand in the mannerהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisתַּטְבִּילוּtat/bi/LUyou shall baptizeבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameכִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכִּיkithatהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוְהַבֵּןve/hab/BENand the Sonוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand the Holy Ghostאֶחָדe/CHADoneהֵםhemtheyוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand IבָאָבVa/AVin the Fatherוְהָאָבve/Ha/AVand the Fatherבִּיbiin meוְהָאָבve/Ha/AVand the Fatherוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    And after this manner shall ye baptize in my name; for behold, verily I say unto you, that the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one; and I am in the Father, and the Father in me, and the Father and I are one.

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand according asצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכֵּןkenthusתַּטְבִּילוּtat/bi/LUyou shall baptizeוְאַל־יְהִיve/AL-ye/HIand let there be noרִיבrivdisputationsבֵּינֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMamong youכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהָיָהha/YAthere have beenעַד־הֵנָּהad-HEN/nahithertoוְאַל־יְהִיve/AL-ye/HIand let there be noרִיבrivdisputationsבֵּינֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMamong youעַל־דִּבְרֵיal-div/REconcerning the pointsתוֹרָתִיto/ra/TIof my doctrineכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהָיָהha/YAthere have beenעַד־הֵנָּה׃ad-HEN/nahitherto

    And according as I have commanded you thus shall ye baptize. And there shall be no disputations among you, as there have hitherto been; neither shall there be disputations among you concerning the points of my doctrine, as there have hitherto been.

29. 29

    כִּיkiforאָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERwhosoרוּחַRU/achthe spiritהַמְּרִיבָהham/me/ri/VAof contentionבוֹvoin himלֹאlonotמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/niof meהוּאhuisכִּיkibutמִן־הַשָּׂטָןmin-has/sa/TANof the devilהוּאhuwho isאֲבִיa/VIthe fatherהַמְּרִיבָהham/me/ri/VAof contentionוְהוּאve/HUand heמֵסִיתme/SITstirs upאֶת־לְבַבet-le/VAVheartsבְּנֵי־הָאָדָםbe/NE-ha/a/DAMof the children of menלָרִיבla/RIVto contendבְּאַףbe/AFwith angerאִישׁishoneבְּרֵעֵהוּ׃be/re/E/huwith another

    For verily, verily I say unto you, he that hath the spirit of contention is not of me, but is of the devil, who is the father of contention, and he stirreth up the hearts of men to contend with anger, one with another.

30. 30

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdלֹא־זֹאתlo-zotnot thisתּוֹרָתִיto/ra/TImy doctrineלְהָסִיתle/ha/SITto stir upאֶת־לְבַבet-le/VAVheartsבְּנֵי־הָאָדָםbe/NE-ha/a/DAMof the children of menלְאַףle/AFwith angerאִישׁishoneבְּרֵעֵהוּbe/re/E/huwith anotherכִּי־זֹאתki-zotbut thisתּוֹרָתִיto/ra/TImy doctrineאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָסוּרוּya/SU/rushould be done awayהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    Behold, this is not my doctrine, to stir up the hearts of men with anger, one against another; but this is my doctrine, that such things should be done away.

31. 31

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאַגִּידag/GIDI shall declareלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאֶת־תּוֹרָתִי׃et-to/ra/TImy doctrine

    Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, I will declare unto you my doctrine.

32. 32

    וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתּוֹרָתִיto/ra/TImy doctrineאֲשֶׁר־נָתַןa/SHER-na/TANwhich gaveלִיlimeהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמֵעִידme/IDbear recordעַל־הָאָבal-Ha/AVof the Fatherוְהָאָבve/Ha/AVand the Fatherמֵעִידme/IDbears recordעָלַיa/LAYof meוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand the Holy Ghostמֵעִידme/IDbears recordעַל־הָאָבal-Ha/AVof the Fatherוְעָלַיve/a/LAYand of meוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמֵעִידme/IDbear recordכִּיkithatהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherמְצַוֶּהme/tsav/VEcommandsאֶת־כׇּל־בְּנֵיet-kol-be/NEall the childrenהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof menבְּכׇל־מָקוֹםbe/KHOL-ma/KOMeverywhereלָשׁוּבla/SHUVto repentוּלְהַאֲמִיןu/le/ha/a/MINand believeבִּי׃biin me

    And this is my doctrine, and it is the doctrine which the Father hath given unto me; and I bear record of the Father, and the Father beareth record of me, and the Holy Ghost beareth record of the Father and me; and I bear record that the Father commandeth all men, everywhere, to repent and believe in me.

33. 33

    וְכׇל־הַמַּאֲמִיןve/KHOL-ham/ma/a/MINand whosoever believesבִּיbiin meוְנִטְבָּלve/nit/BALand is baptizedהוּאhuthe sameיִוָּשֵׁעַyiv/va/SHE/ashall be savedוְהֵםve/HEMand theyיִירְשׁוּYI/re/shushall inheritאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdomהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMof God

    And whoso believeth in me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved; and they are they who shall inherit the kingdom of God.

34. 34

    וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרve/KHOL-a/SHERand whosoלֹא־יַאֲמִיןlo-ya/a/MINwill not believeבִּיbiin meוְלֹאve/LOand notיִטָּבֵלyit/ta/VELhe shall be baptizedיִדּוֹן׃yid/DONshall be damned

    And whoso believeth not in me, and is not baptized, shall be damned.

35. 35

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכִּי־זֹאתki-zotthat thisתּוֹרָתִיto/ra/TImy doctrineוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמֵעִידme/IDbear recordעָלֶיהָa/LE/haof itמֵאֵתme/ETfromהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוְכׇל־הַמַּאֲמִיןve/KHOL-ham/ma/a/MINand whosoever believesבִּיbiin meמַאֲמִיןma/a/MINbelievesגַּםgamalsoבָּאָבba/AVin the Fatherוְלוֹve/LOand unto himיָעִידya/IDshall bear recordהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherעָלַיa/LAYof meכִּיkiforיִפְקְדֵהוּyif/ke/de/HUhe shall visit himבָאֵשׁva/ESHwith fireוּבְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃u/ve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand with the Holy Ghost

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and I bear record of it from the Father; and whoso believeth in me believeth in the Father also; and unto him will the Father bear record of me, for he will visit him with fire and with the Holy Ghost.

36. 36

    וְכָכָהve/KHA/khaand thusיָעִידya/IDshall bear recordהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherעָלַיa/LAYof meוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand the Holy Ghostיָעִידya/IDshall bear recordלוֹloto himעַל־הָאָבal-Ha/AVof the Fatherוְעָלַיve/a/LAYand of meכִּיkiforהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁve/RU/ach-hak/KO/deshand the Holy Ghostאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    And thus will the Father bear record of me, and the Holy Ghost will bear record unto him of the Father and me; for the Father, and I, and the Holy Ghost are one.

37. 37

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyou mustלָשׁוּבla/SHUVto repentוְלִהְיוֹתve/lih/YOTand to beכְּיֶלֶדke/YE/ledas a childקָטָןka/TANlittleוּלְהִטָּבֵלu/le/hit/ta/VELand to be baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameאוֹoorלֹאlonotתוּכְלוּtukh/LUyou canלְקַבֵּלle/kab/BELto receiveאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name, or ye can in nowise receive these things.

38. 38

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyou mustלָשׁוּבla/SHUVto repentוּלְהִטָּבֵלu/le/hit/ta/VELand to be baptizedבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameוְלִהְיוֹתve/lih/YOTand to beכְּיֶלֶדke/YE/ledas a childקָטָןka/TANlittleאוֹoorלֹאlonotתוּכְלוּtukh/LUyou canלָרֶשֶׁתla/RE/shetto inheritאֶת־מַלְכוּתet-mal/KHUTthe kingdomהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMof God

    And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God.

39. 39

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמֵרo/MERsayאֲנִיa/NIIלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכִּי־זֹאתki-zotthat thisתּוֹרָתִיto/ra/TImy doctrineוְכׇל־הַבּוֹנֶהve/KHOL-hab/bo/NEand whoso buildsעָלֶיהָa/LE/haupon thisבּוֹנֶהbo/NEbuildsעַל־צוּרִיal-tsu/RIupon my rockוְשַׁעֲרֵיve/sha/a/REand the gatesשְׁאוֹלshe/OLof hellלֹאlonotיִגְבְּרוּyig/be/RUshall prevailעֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMagainst them

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them.

40. 40

    וְכׇל־הַמַּגִּידve/KHOL-ham/mag/GIDand whosoever declaresיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreאוֹoorמְעָטme/ATlessמִזֶּהmiz/ZEthan thisוּמְקַיֵּםu/me/kay/YEMand establishesאוֹתוֹo/TOitלְתוֹרָתִיle/to/ra/TIas my doctrineהוּאhuthe sameמֵרָעme/RAof evilוְאֵינֶנּוּve/e/NEN/nuand is notבָנוּיva/NUYbuiltעַל־צוּרִיal-tsu/RIupon my rockכִּיkibutבּוֹנֶהbo/NEbuildsעַל־חוֹלal-cholupon sandוְשַׁעֲרֵיve/sha/a/REand the gatesשְׁאוֹלshe/OLof hellפְּתוּחִיםpe/tu/CHIMare openלְקַבְּלָםle/kab/be/LAMto receive suchבְּבוֹאbe/VOwhen comesהַשֶּׁטֶףhash/SHE/tefthe floodsוְהָרוּחוֹתve/ha/ru/CHOTand the windsיִפְגְּעוּyif/ge/Ushall beatבָם׃vamupon them

    And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, the same cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock; but he buildeth upon a sandy foundation, and the gates of hell stand open to receive such when the floods come and the winds beat upon them.

41. 41

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeלְכוּle/KHUgoאֶל־הָעָםel-ha/AMunto the peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְהַגִּידוּve/hag/GI/duand declareאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI spokeעַד־קְצוֹתad-ke/TSOTunto the endsהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsof the earth

    Therefore, go forth unto this people, and declare the words which I have spoken, unto the ends of the earth.
