   And now behold, my beloved brethren, I would speak unto you; for I, Nephi, would not suffer that ye should suppose that ye are more righteous than the Gentiles shall be. For behold, except ye shall keep the commandments of God ye shall all likewise perish; and because of the words which have been spoken ye need not suppose that the Gentiles are utterly destroyed.

   For behold, I say unto you that as many of the Gentiles as will repent are the covenant people of the Lord; and as many of the Jews as will not repent shall be cast off; for the Lord covenanteth with none save it be with them that repent and believe in his Son, who is the Holy One of Israel.

   וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאֶנָּבְאָהen/na/ve/AI would prophesyמְעַטme/ATsomewhatעוֹדodmoreעַל־הַיְּהוּדִיםal-Hay/ye/hu/DIMconcerning the Jewsוְעַל־הַגּוֹיִםve/AL-hag/go/YIMand concerning the Gentilesכִּיkiforאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterצֵאתtsetshall come forthהַסֵּפֶרhas/SE/ferthe bookאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof whichדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI spokeוְנִכְתַּבve/nikh/TAVand shall be writtenלַגּוֹיִםlag/Go/YIMunto the Gentilesוְנֶחְתַּםve/nech/TAMand shall be sealed upשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainלַיהוָהla-Adonaiunto Adonaiוְהָיוּve/ha/YUthere shall beרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיַאֲמִינוּya/a/MI/nushall believeבַדְּבָרִיםvad/de/va/RIMin the wordsהַכְּתוּבִיםhak/ke/tu/VIMwhich are writtenוֶהֱבִיאוּםve/he/vi/UMand they shall carry them forthאֶל־שְׁאֵרִיתel-she/e/RITunto the remnantזַרְעֵנוּ׃zar/e/NUof our seed

   And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord, there shall be many which shall believe the words which are written; and they shall carry them forth unto the remnant of our seed.

   וְאָזve/AZand thenיֵדְעוּyed/Ushall knowשְׁאֵרִיתshe/e/RITthe remnantזַרְעֵנוּzar/e/NUof our seedעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuconcerning usאֵיךְekhhowיָצָאנוּya/TSA/nuwe came outמִירוּשָׁלַיִםmI/ru/sha/LA/yimfrom Jerusalemוְכִיve/KHIand thatמִזֶּרַעmiz/ZE/radescendantsהַיְּהוּדִיםhay/Ye/hu/DIMof the Jewsהֵמָּה׃HEM/mathey are

   And then shall the remnant of our seed know concerning us, how that we came out from Jerusalem, and that they are descendants of the Jews.

5. 5

   וְהֻגְּדָהve/hug/ge/DAand shall be declaredבְּתוֹכָםbe/to/KHAMamong themבְּשׂוֹרַתbe/so/RATthe gospelיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aof JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristוְהוּשְׁבוּve/hush/VUwherefore they shall be restoredלְדַעַתle/DA/atunto the knowledgeאֲבוֹתָםa/vo/TAMof their fathersוְגַםve/GAMand alsoלְדַעַתle/DA/atunto the knowledgeיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aof JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwas hadלַאֲבוֹתָם׃la/a/vo/TAMamong their fathers

   And the gospel of Jesus Christ shall be declared among them; wherefore, they shall be restored unto the knowledge of their fathers, and also to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which was had among their fathers.

   וְאָזve/AZand thenיָשִׂישׂוּya/SI/sushall they rejoiceכִּיkiforיֵדְעוּyed/Uthey shall knowכִּיkithatבְרָכָהve/ra/KHAa blessingהִיאhiit isלָהֶםla/HEMunto themמִיַּדmiy/YADfrom the handאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godוְיָחֵלּוּve/ya/chel/LUand shall beginקַשְׂקַשֵּׂיkas/kas/SEthe scalesהַחֹשֶׁךְha/CHO/shekhof darknessלִנְפֹּלlin/POLto fallמֵעֵינֵיהֶםme/e/ne/HEMfrom their eyesוְדֹרוֹתve/do/ROTand generationsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyלֹאloshall notיַעַבְרוּya/av/RUpass awayבָםvamamong themבִּלְתִּיbil/TIsaveאִם־יִהְיוּim-yih/YUthey shall beלְעַםle/AMa peopleטָהוֹרta/HORpureוְנָעִים׃ve/na/IMand a delightsome

   And then shall they rejoice; for they shall know that it is a blessing unto them from the hand of God; and their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a pure and a delightsome people.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכִּיkithatיָחֵלּוּya/chel/LUshall beginהַיְּהוּדִיםhay/Ye/hu/DIMthe Jewsהַנְּפוֹצִיםhan/ne/fo/TSIMwhich are scatteredלְהַאֲמִיןle/ha/a/MINto believeבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin Christוְיָחֵלּוּve/ya/chel/LUand shall beginלְהִקָּבֵץle/hik/ka/VETSto gatherעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEupon the faceהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the landוְכׇל־אֲשֶׁרve/KHOL-a/SHERand as many asיַאֲמִינוּya/a/MI/nushall believeבַּמָּשִׁיחַbam/Ma/SHI/achin Christיִהְיוּyih/YUshall becomeגַם־הֵםgam-hemalsoלְעַםle/AMa peopleנָעִים׃na/IMdelightsome

   And it shall come to pass that the Jews which are scattered also shall begin to believe in Christ; and they shall begin to gather in upon the face of the land; and as many as shall believe in Christ shall also become a delightsome people.

8. 8

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכִּיkithatיָחֵלya/CHELshall commenceיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodמַעֲשֵׂהוּma/a/SE/huhis workבְּכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםbe/KHOL-hag/go/YIMamong all nationsוְהַמִּשְׁפָּחוֹתve/ham/mish/pa/CHOTand the kindredsוְהַלְּשֹׁנוֹתve/hal/le/sho/NOTand the tonguesוְהָעַמִּיםve/ha/am/MIMand peopleלְהָבִיאle/ha/VIto bring aboutאֶת־הֲשָׁבַתet-ha/sha/VATthe restorationעַמּוֹam/MOof his peopleעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-ha/A/retsupon the earth

   And it shall come to pass that the Lord God shall commence his work among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, to bring about the restoration of his people upon the earth.

9. 9

   וּבְצֶדֶקu/ve/TSE/dekand with righteousnessיִשְׁפֹּטyish/POTshall judgeיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodדַּלִּיםdal/LIMthe poorוְהוֹכִיחַve/ho/KHI/achand reproveבְּמִישׁוֹרbe/mi/SHORwith equityלְעַנְוֵי־אָרֶץle/an/VE-A/retsfor the meek of the earthוְהִכָּה־אֶרֶץve/hik/KA-E/retsand shall smite the earthבְּשֵׁבֶטbe/SHE/vetwith the rodפִּיוpivof his mouthוּבְרוּחַu/ve/RU/achand with the breathשְׂפָתָיוse/fa/TAYVof his lipsיָמִיתya/MITshall he slayרָשָׁע׃ra/SHAthe wicked

   And with righteousness shall the Lord God judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth. And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

10. 10

    כִּיkiforמְהֵרָהme/he/RAspeedilyתָבוֹאta/VOcomesהָעֵתha/ETthe timeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEshall causeיְהוָהAdonaiAdonaiאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodמַחֲלֹקֶתma/cha/LO/keta divisionגְּדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatבָּעָםba/AMamong the peopleוְאֶת־הָרְשָׁעִיםve/ET-ha/re/sha/IMand the wickedיַשְׁמִידyash/MIDwill he destroyוְעַל־עַמּוֹve/AL-am/MOand his peopleיַחְמֹלyach/MOLhe will spareאַףafyeaגַּםgamevenאִםimif it so beהַשְׁמֵדhash/MEDthat he mustיַשְׁמִידyash/MIDdestroyאֶת־הָרְשָׁעִיםet-ha/re/sha/IMthe wickedבָּאֵשׁ׃ba/ESHby fire

    For the time speedily cometh that the Lord God shall cause a great division among the people, and the wicked will he destroy; and he will spare his people, yea, even if it so be that he must destroy the wicked by fire.

11. 11

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand shall beצֶדֶקTSE/dekrighteousnessאֵזוֹרe/ZORthe girdleמׇתְנָיוmot/NAYVof his loinsוְהָאֱמוּנָהve/ha/e/mu/NAand faithfulnessאֵזוֹרe/ZORthe girdleחֲלָצָיו׃cha/la/TSAYVof his reins

    And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

12. 12

    וְאָזve/AZand thenיָגוּרya/GURshall dwellזְאֵבze/EVthe wolfעִם־כֶּבֶשׂim-KE/veswith the lambוְנָמֵרve/na/MERand the leopardעִם־גְּדִיim-ge/DIwith the kidיִרְבָּץyir/BATSshall lie downוְעֵגֶלve/E/geland the calfוּכְפִירu/khe/FIRand the young lionוּמְרִיאu/me/RIand the fatlingיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherוְנַעַרve/NA/arand a childקָטֹןka/TONlittleנֹהֵגno/HEGshall leadבָּם׃bamthem

    And then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf, and the young lion, and the fatling, together; and a little child shall lead them.

13. 13

    וּפָרָהu/fa/RAand the cowוָדֹבva/DOVand the bearתִּרְעֶינָהtir/E/nashall feedיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherיִרְבְּצוּyir/be/TSUshall lie downיַלְדֵיהֶןyal/de/HENtheir young onesוְאַרְיֵהve/ar/YEand the lionכַּבָּקָרkab/ba/KARlike the oxיֹאכַלyo/KHALshall eatתֶּבֶן׃TE/venstraw

    And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

14. 14

    וְשִׁעֲשַׁעve/shi/a/SHAand shall playיוֹנֵקyo/NEKthe sucking childעַל־חֻרal-churon the holeפָּתֶןPA/tenof the aspוְעַל־מְאוּרַתve/AL-me/u/RATand on the denצִפְעוֹנִיtsif/o/NIof the cockatrice'sגָּמוּלga/MULthe weaned childיָדוֹya/DOhis handהָדָה׃ha/DAshall put

    And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’s den.

15. 15

    לֹא־יָרֵעוּlo-ya/RE/uthey shall not hurtוְלֹא־יַשְׁחִיתוּve/LO-yash/CHI/tunor destroyבְּכׇל־הַרbe/KHOL-harin all mountainקׇדְשִׁיkod/SHImy holyכִּי־מָלְאָהki-ma/le/Afor shall be fullהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthדֵּעָהde/Aof the knowledgeאֶת־יְהוָהet-Adonaiof Adonaiכַּמַּיִםkam/MA/yimas the watersלַיָּםlay/YAMthe seaמְכַסִּים׃me/khas/SIMcover

    They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

16. 16

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeיִוָּדְעוּyiv/va/de/Ushall be made knownדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe thingsכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםkhol-hag/go/YIMof all nationsאַףafyeaכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםkol-had/de/va/RIMall thingsיִוָּדְעוּyiv/va/de/Ushall be made knownלִבְנֵי־הָאָדָם׃liv/NE-ha/a/DAMunto the children of men

    Wherefore, the things of all nations shall be made known; yea, all things shall be made known unto the children of men.

17. 17

    אֵין־דָּבָרen-da/VARthere is nothingנִסְתָּרnis/TARwhich is secretבִּלְתִּיbil/TIsaveאִם־יִגָּלֶהim-yig/ga/LEit shall be revealedאֵיןenthere is noמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEworkחֹשֶׁךְCHO/shekhof darknessבִּלְתִּיbil/TIsaveאִם־יֵרָאֶהim-ye/ra/Eit shall be made manifestבָאוֹרva/ORin the lightוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noדָּבָרda/VARthingחָתוּםcha/TUMwhich is sealedעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the earthבִּלְתִּיbil/TIsaveאִם־יֻתַּר׃im-yut/TARit shall be loosed

    There is nothing which is secret save it shall be revealed; there is no work of darkness save it shall be made manifest in the light; and there is nothing which is sealed upon the earth save it shall be loosed.

18. 18

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםkol-had/de/va/RIMall thingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִגְלוּnig/LUhave been revealedלִבְנֵי־הָאָדָםliv/NE-ha/a/DAMunto the children of menיִגָּלוּyig/ga/LUshall be revealedבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMat dayהַהוּאha/HUthatוְלֹא־יִהְיֶהve/LO-yih/YEand shall not beעוֹדodany moreלַשָּׂטָןLas/sa/TANSatanכֹּחַKO/achpowerעַל־לְבַבal-le/VAVover the heartsבְּנֵי־הָאָדָםbe/NE-ha/a/DAMof the children of menיָמִיםya/MIMfor a timeרַבִּיםrab/BIMlongוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowאַחַיa/CHAYmy brethrenהָאֲהוּבִיםha/a/hu/VIMbelovedהִנְנִיhin/NIIמְכַלֶּהme/khal/LEmake an endאֶת־דְּבָרָי׃et-de/va/RAYof my sayings

    Wherefore, all things which have been revealed unto the children of men shall at that day be revealed; and Satan shall have power over the hearts of the children of men no more, for a long time. And now, my beloved brethren, I make an end of my sayings.
