   חׇנֵּנִיchon/NE/nibe gracious to meאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godכִּי־שְׁאָפַנִיki-she/a/FA/nifor would swallow me upאֱנוֹשׁe/NOSHmanכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayלֹחֵםlo/CHEMfightingיִלְחָצֵנִי׃yil/cha/TSE/nioppresses me

   Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

   שָׁאֲפוּsha/a/FUthey would swallow me upשׁוֹרְרַיshor/RAYmy enemiesכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayכִּי־רַבִּיםki-rab/BIMfor many areלֹחֲמִיםlo/cha/MIMfightingלִיliagainst meמָרוֹם׃Ma/ROMO Most High

   Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

   יוֹםyomon the dayאִירָאi/RAI am afraidאֲנִיa/NIIאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khain Youאֶבְטָח׃ev/TACHwill I trust

   What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

   בֵּאלֹהִיםbe/lo/HIMin Godאֲהַלֵּלa/hal/LELI will praiseדְּבָרוֹde/va/ROHis wordבֵּאלֹהִיםbe/lo/HIMin Godבָּטַחְתִּיba/TACH/tiI trustלֹאlonotאִירָאi/RAshall I fearמַה־יַּעֲשֶׂהma-ya/a/SEwhat can doבָשָׂרva/SARfleshלִי׃lito me

   In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

   כׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayדְּבָרַיde/va/RAYmy wordsיְעַצֵּבוּye/ats/TSE/vuthey twistעָלַיa/LAYagainst meכׇּל־מַחְשְׁבֹתָםkol-mach/she/vo/TAMall their thoughts areלָרָע׃la/RAfor evil

   Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

   יָגוּרוּya/GU/ruthey stir up strife[יִצְפּוֹנוּ]yits/PO/nuthey hide themselvesהֵמָּהHEM/matheyעֲקֵבַיa/ke/VAYmy heelsיִשְׁמֹרוּyish/MO/ruthey watchכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasקִוּוּkiv/VUthey wait forנַפְשִׁי׃naf/SHImy soul

   They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

   עַל־אָוֶןal-A/venfor iniquityפַּלֶּט־לָמוֹpal/LET-LA/mowill they escapeבְּאַףbe/AFin Your angerעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesהוֹרֵדho/REDcast downאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMO God

   Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

   נֹדִיno/DImy wanderingsסָפַרְתָּהsa/FAR/taYou have countedאָתָּהAT/taYouשִׂימָהSI/maputדִמְעָתִיdim/a/TImy tearsבְנֹאדֶךָve/no/DE/khain Your bottleהֲלֹאha/LOis it notבְּסִפְרָתֶךָ׃be/sif/ra/TE/khain Your book

   Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

    אָזazthenיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vushall turn backאוֹיְבַיoy/VAYmy enemiesאָחוֹרa/CHORbackבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofאֶקְרָאek/RAI callזֶה־יָדַעְתִּיze-ya/DA/tithis I knowכִּי־אֱלֹהִיםki-e/lo/HIMthat Godלִי׃liis for me

    When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

    בֵּאלֹהִיםbe/lo/HIMin Godאֲהַלֵּלa/hal/LELI will praiseדָּבָרda/VARthe wordבַּיהֹוָהba-Adonaiin the LORDאֲהַלֵּלa/hal/LELI will praiseדָּבָר׃da/VARthe word

    In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

    בֵּאלֹהִיםbe/lo/HIMin Godבָּטַחְתִּיba/TACH/tiI trustלֹּאlonotאִירָאi/RAshall I fearמַה־יַּעֲשֶׂהma-ya/a/SEwhat can doאָדָםa/DAMmanלִי׃lito me

    In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

    עָלַיa/LAYupon me areאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMO Godנְדָרֶיךָne/da/RE/khaYour vowsאֲשַׁלֵּםa/shal/LEMI will payתּוֹדֹתto/DOTthank offeringsלָךְ׃lakhto You

    Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

    כִּיkiforהִצַּלְתָּhits/TSAL/taYou have deliveredנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulמִמָּוֶתmim/MA/vetfrom deathהֲלֹאha/LOhave You notרַגְלַיrag/LAYmy feetמִדֶּחִיmid/DE/chifrom fallingלְהִתְהַלֵּךְle/hit/hal/LEKHto walkלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodבְּאוֹרbe/ORin the light ofהַחַיִּים׃ha/chay/YIMthe living

    For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
