   לַמְנַצֵּחַlam/nats/TSE/achto the chief musicianמִזְמוֹרmiz/MORa psalmלְדָוִד׃le/Da/VIDof David

   To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.

2. 2

   אַשְׁרֵיash/REblessed isמַשְׂכִּילmas/KILhe who considersאֶל־דָּלel-dalthe poorבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofרָעָהra/Aevilיְמַלְּטֵהוּye/mal/le/TE/huwill deliver himיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDיִשְׁמְרֵהוּyish/me/RE/hupreserves himוִיחַיֵּהוּvi/chay/ye/HUand keeps him alive[וְאֻשַּׁר]ve/ush/SHARand he shall be blessedבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsupon the earthוְאַל־תִּתְּנֵהוּve/AL-tit/te/NE/huand do not give himבְּנֶפֶשׁbe/NE/feshto the will ofאֹיְבָיו׃oy/VAYVhis enemies

   The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDיִסְעָדֶנּוּyis/a/den/NUstrengthens himעַל־עֶרֶשׂal-E/resupon the bed ofדְּוָיde/VAYsicknessכׇּל־מִשְׁכָּבוֹkol-mish/ka/VOall his bedהָפַכְתָּha/FAKH/taYou turnבְחׇלְיוֹ׃ve/chol/YOin his sickness

   The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

   אֲנִי־אָמַרְתִּיa/NI-a/MAR/tiI saidיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDחׇנֵּנִיchon/NE/nibe gracious to meרְפָאָהre/fa/Ahealנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulכִּי־חָטָאתִיki-cha/TA/tifor I have sinnedלָךְ׃lakhagainst You

   I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

   אוֹיְבַיoy/VAYmy enemiesיֹאמְרוּyo/me/RUspeakרַעraevilלִיliof meמָתַיma/TAYwhenיָמוּתya/MUThe shall dieוְאָבַדve/a/VADand perishשְׁמוֹ׃she/MOhis name

   Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

   וְאִם־בָּאve/IM-baand if one comesלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeשָׁוְאshavfalsehoodיְדַבֵּרye/dab/BERhe speaksלִבּוֹlib/BOhis heartיִקְבׇּץ־אָוֶןyik/BOTS-A/vengathers iniquityלוֹloto itselfיֵצֵאye/TSEhe goes outלַחוּץla/CHUTSabroadיְדַבֵּר׃ye/dab/BERhe speaks

   And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

8. 8

   יַחַדYA/chadtogetherעָלַיa/LAYagainst meיִתְלַחֲשׁוּyit/la/cha/SHUthey whisperכׇּל־שֹׂנְאָיkol-son/AYall those who hate meעָלַיa/LAYagainst meיַחְשְׁבוּyach/she/VUthey deviseרָעָהra/Aevilלִי׃liagainst me

   All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

9. 9

   דְּבַר־בְּלִיַּעַלde/VAR-be/liy/YA/ala thing of worthlessnessיָצוּקya/TSUKcleaves fastבּוֹboto himוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand now thatשָׁכַבsha/KHAVhe liesלֹא־יוֹסִיףlo-yo/SIFhe shall no moreלָקוּם׃la/KUMrise up

   An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.

10. 10

    גַּם־אִישׁgam-isheven the man ofשְׁלוֹמִיshe/lo/MImy peaceאֲשֶׁר־בָּטַחְתִּיa/SHER-ba/TACH/tiin whom I trustedבוֹvoin himאוֹכֵלo/KHELwho ateלַחְמִיlach/MImy breadהִגְדִּילhig/DILhas lifted upעָלַיa/LAYagainst meעָקֵב׃a/KEVhis heel

    Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

11. 11

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut YouיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDחׇנֵּנִיchon/NE/nibe gracious to meוַהֲקִימֵנִיva/ha/ki/ME/niand raise me upוַאֲשַׁלְּמָהva/a/shal/le/MAthat I may repayלָהֶם׃la/HEMto them

    But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

12. 12

    בְּזֹאתbe/ZOTin thisיָדַעְתִּיya/DA/tiI knowכִּי־חָפַצְתָּki-cha/FATS/tathat You favorבִּיbimeכִּיkibecauseלֹא־יָרִיעַlo-ya/RI/adoes not triumphאֹיְבִיoy/VImy enemyעָלָי׃a/LAYover me

    By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

13. 13

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand as for meבְּתֻמִּיbe/tum/MIin my integrityתָּמַכְתָּta/MAKH/taYou upholdבִּיbimeוַתַּצִּיבֵנִיvat/tats/tsi/VE/niand You set meלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore Youלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

    And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

14. 14

    בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed beיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמֵהָעוֹלָםme/ha/o/LAMfrom everlastingוְעַדve/ADand toהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMeverlastingאָמֵןa/MENamenוְאָמֵן׃ve/a/MENand amen

    Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
