   And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.

   And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.

   Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants.

   And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;

   וּמַעֲשֵׂיָהu/Ma/a/se/YAand Maaseiahבֶן־בָּרוּךְven-Ba/RUKHthe son of Baruchבֶּן־כׇּל־חֹזֶהben-Kol-cho/ZEthe son of Col-hozehבֶּן־חֲזָיָהben-Cha/za/YAthe son of Hazaiahבֶן־עֲדָיָהven-A/da/YAthe son of Adaiahבֶן־יוֹיָרִיבven-Yo/ya/RIVthe son of Joiaribבֶּן־זְכַרְיָהben-Ze/khar/YAthe son of Zechariahבֶּן־הַשִּׁלֹנִי׃ben-Hash/shi/lo/NIthe son of the Shilonite

   And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.

   All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.

   וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand these areבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofבִנְיָמִןVin/ya/MINBenjaminסַלֻּאSal/LUSalluבֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּםben-Me/shul/LAMthe son of Meshullamבֶּן־יוֹעֵדben-Yo/EDthe son of Joedבֶּן־פְּדָיָהben-Pe/da/YAthe son of Pedaiahבֶן־קוֹלָיָהven-Ko/la/YAthe son of Kolaiahבֶן־מַעֲשֵׂיָהven-Ma/a/se/YAthe son of Maaseiahבֶּן־אִיתִיאֵלben-I/ti/ELthe son of Ithielבֶּן־יְשַׁעְיָה׃ben-Ye/sha/YAthe son of Jeshaiah

   And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.

   And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.

   וְיוֹאֵלve/Yo/ELand Joelבֶּן־זִכְרִיben-Zikh/RIthe son of Zichriפָּקִידpa/KIDwas overseerעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themוִיהוּדָהVi/hu/DAand Judahבֶן־הַסְּנוּאָהven-Has/se/nu/Athe son of Hassenuahעַל־הָעִירal-ha/IRover the cityמִשְׁנֶה׃mish/NEsecond

   And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.

    מִן־הַכֹּהֲנִיםmin-hak/ko/ha/NIMof the priestsיְדַעְיָהYe/da/YAJedaiahבֶן־יוֹיָרִיבven-Yo/ya/RIVthe son of Joiaribיָכִין׃Ya/KHINJachin

    Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin.

    Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God.

    And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,

    And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.

    וּמִן־הַלְוִיִּםu/MIN-hal/viy/YIMand of the LevitesשְׁמַעְיָהShe/ma/YAShemaiahבֶן־חַשּׁוּבven-Chash/SHUVthe son of Hashshubבֶּן־עַזְרִיקָםben-Az/ri/KAMthe son of Azrikamבֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָהben-Cha/shav/YAthe son of Hashabiahבֶּן־בּוּנִּי׃ben-Bun/NIthe son of Bunni

    Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;

    וְשַׁבְּתַיve/Shab/be/TAYand Shabbethaiוְיוֹזָבָדve/Yo/za/VADand Jozabadעַל־הַמְּלָאכָהal-ham/me/la/KHAover the workהַחִיצֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAoutsideלְבֵיתle/VETof the house ofהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMGodמֵרָאשֵׁיme/ra/SHEof the chiefs ofהַלְוִיִּם׃Hal/viy/YIMthe Levites

    And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.

    וּמַתַּנְיָהu/Mat/tan/YAand Mattaniahבֶן־מִיכָאven-Mi/KHAthe son of Micahבֶּן־זַבְדִּיben-Zav/DIthe son of Zabdiבֶן־אָסָףven-A/SAFthe son of Asaphרֹאשׁroshthe leader ofהַתְּחִלָּהhat/te/chil/LAthe beginningיְהוֹדֶהye/ho/DEgave thanksלַתְּפִלָּהlat/te/fil/LAin prayerוּבַקְבֻּקְיָהu/Vak/buk/YAand Bakbukiahמִשְׁנֶהmish/NEsecondמֵאֶחָיוme/e/CHAYVamong his brothersוְעַבְדָּאve/Av/DAand Abdaבֶּן־שַׁמּוּעַben-Sham/MU/athe son of Shammuaבֶּן־גָּלָלben-Ga/LALthe son of Galalבֶּן־[יְדוּתוּן]ben-Ye/du/TUNthe son of Jeduthun(ידיתון)׃yadayatavan

    And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.

    כׇּל־הַלְוִיִּםkol-Hal/viy/YIMall the Levitesבְּעִירbe/IRin the city ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe sanctuaryמָאתַיִםma/TA/yimtwo hundredשְׁמֹנִיםshe/mo/NIMeightyוְאַרְבָּעָה׃ve/ar/ba/Aand four

    All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.

19. 19

    וְהַשּׁוֹעֲרִיםve/hash/sho/a/RIMand the gatekeepersעַקּוּבAk/KUVAkkubטַלְמוֹןTal/MONTalmonוַאֲחֵיהֶםva/a/che/HEMand their brothersהַשֹּׁמְרִיםhash/shom/RIMwho kept watchבַּשְּׁעָרִיםbash/she/a/RIMat the gatesמֵאָהme/Aa hundredשִׁבְעִיםshiv/IMseventyוּשְׁנָיִם׃u/she/NA/yimand two

    Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.

20. 20

    וּשְׁאָרu/she/ARand the rest ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesבְּכׇל־עָרֵיbe/KHOL-a/REwere in all the cities ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahאִישׁisheachבְּנַחֲלָתוֹ׃be/na/cha/la/TOin his inheritance

    And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.

21. 21

    וְהַנְּתִינִיםve/han/ne/ti/NIMand the temple servantsיֹשְׁבִיםyosh/VIMdweltבָּעֹפֶלba/O/felon Ophelוְצִיחָאve/Tsi/CHAand Zihaוְגִשְׁפָּאve/Gish/PAand Gishpaעַל־הַנְּתִינִים׃al-han/ne/ti/NIMwere over the temple servants

    But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.

22. 22

    וּפְקִידu/fe/KIDand the overseer ofהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesבִּירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםbI/ru/sha/LA/yimin JerusalemעֻזִּיUz/ZIUzziבֶן־בָּנִיven-Ba/NIthe son of Baniבֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָהben-Cha/shav/YAthe son of Hashabiahבֶּן־מַתַּנְיָהben-Mat/tan/YAthe son of Mattaniahבֶּן־מִיכָאben-Mi/KHAthe son of Michaמִבְּנֵיmib/be/NEof the sons ofאָסָףA/SAFAsaphהַמְשֹׁרְרִיםham/shor/RIMthe singersלְנֶגֶדle/NE/gedoverמְלֶאכֶתme/LE/khetthe work ofבֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִים׃bet-ha/e/lo/HIMthe house of God

    The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.

23. 23

    כִּי־מִצְוַתki-mits/VATfor the commandment ofהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMwas concerning themוַאֲמָנָהva/a/ma/NAand a settled provisionעַל־הַמְשֹׁרְרִיםal-ham/shor/RIMfor the singersדְּבַר־יוֹםde/VAR-yomeach day's matterבְּיוֹמוֹ׃be/yo/MOin its day

    For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.

24. 24

    וּפְתַחְיָהu/Fe/tach/YAand Pethahiahבֶן־מְשֵׁיזַבְאֵלven-Me/she/zav/ELthe son of Meshezabeelמִבְּנֵי־זֶרַחmib/Be/NE-ZE/rachof the sons of Zerahבֶּן־יְהוּדָהben-Ye/hu/DAthe son of Judahלְיַדle/YADwas at the hand ofהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingלְכׇל־דָּבָרle/KHOL-da/VARin all mattersלָעָם׃la/AMconcerning the people

    And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.

    וְאֶל־הַחֲצֵרִיםve/EL-ha/cha/tse/RIMand as for the villagesבִּשְׂדֹתָםbis/do/TAMwith their fieldsמִבְּנֵיmib/be/NEsome of the children ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahיָשְׁבוּya/she/VUdweltבְּקִרְיַתbe/Kir/YATin Kiriath-הָאַרְבַּעha/ar/BAarbaוּבְנֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesוּבְדִיבֹןu/ve/Di/VONand in Dibonוּבְנֹתֶיהָu/ve/no/TE/haand its villagesוּבִיקַּבְצְאֵלu/Vik/kav/tse/ELand in Jekabzeelוַחֲצֵרֶיהָ׃va/cha/tse/RE/haand its villages

    And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,

    And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beth-phelet,

    וּבַחֲצַרu/Va/cha/TSARand in Hazar-שׁוּעָלshu/ALshualוּבִבְאֵרu/Viv/ERand in Beer-שֶׁבַעSHE/vashebaוּבְנֹתֶיהָ׃u/ve/no/TE/haand its villages

    And at Hazar-shual, and at Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,

    וּבְצִקְלַגu/ve/Tsik/LAGand in Ziklagוּבִמְכֹנָהu/Vim/kho/NAand in Meconahוּבִבְנֹתֶיהָ׃u/viv/no/TE/haand in its villages

    And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,

    And at En-rimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,

    Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beer-sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofבִנְיָמִןVin/ya/MINBenjaminמִגָּבַעmig/GA/vafrom GebaמִכְמָשׂMikh/MASMichmashוְעַיָּהve/Ay/YAand Aijaוּבֵית־אֵלu/VET-eland Beth-elוּבְנֹתֶיהָ׃u/ve/no/TE/haand its villages

    The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-el, and in their villages,

    עֲנָתוֹתA/na/TOTAnathothנֹבNovNobעֲנָנְיָה׃A/na/ne/YAAnaniah

    And at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

    חָצוֹרCha/TSORHazorרָמָהRa/MARamahגִּתָּיִם׃Git/TA/yimGittaim

    Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34. 34

    חָדִידCha/DIDHadidצְבֹעִיםTse/vo/IMZeboimנְבַלָּט׃Ne/val/LATNeballat

    Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

    לֹדLodLodוְאוֹנוֹve/O/NOand Onoגֵּיgethe valley ofהַחֲרָשִׁים׃ha/cha/ra/SHIMthe craftsmen

    Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.

36. 36

    וּמִן־הַלְוִיִּםu/MIN-hal/viy/YIMand of the Levitesמַחְלְקוֹתmach/le/KOTdivisions inיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahלְבִנְיָמִין׃le/Vin/ya/MINbelonged to Benjamin

    And of the Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
