    And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

    And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, or Sheba, and Moladah,

    וַחֲצַרva/Cha/TSARand Hazar-שׁוּעָלshu/ALshualוּבָלָהu/Va/LAand Balahוָעָצֶם׃va/A/tsemand Ezem

    And Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Azem,

    וְאֶלְתּוֹלַדve/El/to/LADand Eltoladוּבְתוּלu/ve/TULand Bethulוְחׇרְמָה׃ve/Chor/MAand Hormah

    And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

    וְצִקְלַגve/Tsik/LAGand Ziklagוּבֵית־הַמַּרְכָּבוֹתu/VET-ham/mar/ka/VOTand Beth-marcabothוַחֲצַרva/Cha/TSARand Hazar-סוּסָה׃su/SAsusah

    And Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

    וּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-לְבָאוֹתle/va/OTlebaothוְשָׁרוּחֶןve/Sha/ru/CHENand Sharuhenעָרִיםa/RIMcitiesשְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהshe/LOSH-es/REthirteenוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:

    עַיִןA/yinAinרִמּוֹןRim/MONRimmonוָעֶתֶרva/E/terand Etherוְעָשָׁןve/A/SHANand Ashanעָרִיםa/RIMcitiesאַרְבַּעar/BAfourוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:

    וְכׇל־הַחֲצֵרִיםve/KHOL-ha/cha/tse/RIMand all the villagesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereסְבִיבוֹתse/vi/VOTaroundהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseעַד־בַּעֲלַתad-BA/a/latto Baalath-בְּאֵרbe/ERbeerרָאמַתRA/matRamah ofנֶגֶבNE/gevthe Negevזֹאתzotthisנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofבְנֵי־שִׁמְעוֹןve/NE-shim/ONthe children of Simeonלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

    מֵחֶבֶלme/CHE/velout of the portion ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATthe inheritance ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimeonכִּי־הָיָהki-ha/YAfor wasחֵלֶקCHE/lekthe portion ofבְּנֵי־יְהוּדָהbe/NE-ye/hu/DAthe children of Judahרַבravtoo muchמֵהֶםme/HEMfor themוַיִּנְחֲלוּvay/yin/cha/LUtherefore received their inheritanceבְנֵי־שִׁמְעוֹןve/NE-shim/ONthe children of Simeonבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHwithinנַחֲלָתָם׃na/cha/la/TAMtheir inheritance

    Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.

    וַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland came upהַגּוֹרָלhag/go/RALthe lotהַשְּׁלִישִׁיhash/she/li/SHIthe thirdלִבְנֵיliv/NEfor the children ofזְבוּלֻןZe/vu/LUNZebulunלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesוַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofנַחֲלָתָםna/cha/la/TAMtheir inheritanceעַד־שָׂרִיד׃ad-Sa/RIDas far as Sarid

    And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:

    וְעָלָהve/a/LAand went upגְבוּלָםge/vu/LAMtheir borderלַיָּמָּהlay/YAM/mawestwardוּמַרְעֲלָהu/Mar/a/LAand to Maralahוּפָגַעu/fa/GAand reachedבְּדַבָּשֶׁתbe/Dab/BA/shetto Dabbashethוּפָגַעu/fa/GAand reachedאֶל־הַנַּחַלel-han/NA/chalto the brookאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEbeforeיׇקְנְעָם׃Yok/ne/AMJokneam

    And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;

    וְשָׁבve/SHAVand turnedמִשָּׂרִידmis/Sa/RIDfrom SaridקֵדְמָהKED/maeastwardמִזְרַחmiz/RACHtoward the rising ofהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunעַל־גְּבוּלal-ge/VULto the border ofכִּסְלֹתKis/LOTChisloth-תָּבֹרta/VORtaborוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand went outאֶל־הַדָּבְרַתel-Had/da/ve/RATto Daberathוְעָלָהve/a/LAand went upיָפִיעַ׃Ya/FI/ato Japhia

    And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chisloth-tabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,

    וּמִשָּׁםu/mish/SHAMand from thereעָבַרa/VARit passed alongקֵדְמָהKED/maon the eastמִזְרָחָהmiz/RA/chaeastwardגִּתָּהGit/TAto Gath-חֵפֶרCHE/ferhepherעִתָּהIt/TAto Eth-קָצִיןka/TSINkazinוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand went outרִמּוֹןRim/MONto Rimmonהַמְּתֹאָרham/me/to/ARwhich extendsהַנֵּעָה׃han/Ne/Ato Neah

    And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittah-hepher, to Ittah-kazin, and goeth out to Remmon-methoar to Neah;

    וְנָסַבve/na/SAVand turnedאֹתוֹo/TOitהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULthe borderמִצְּפוֹןmits/tse/FONon the northחַנָּתֹןChan/na/TONto Hannathonוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand wereתֹּצְאֹתָיוtots/o/TAYVits goings outגֵּיgeat the valley ofיִפְתַּח־אֵל׃Yif/TACH-elJiphthah-el

    And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthah-el:

    וְקַטָּתve/Kat/TATand Kattahוְנַהֲלָלve/Na/ha/LALand Nahalalוְשִׁמְרוֹןve/Shim/RONand Shimronוְיִדְאֲלָהve/Yid/a/LAand Idalahוּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-לָחֶםLA/chemlehemעָרִיםa/RIMcitiesשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהshtem-es/REtwelveוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities with their villages.

    זֹאתzotthis isנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATthe inheritance ofבְּנֵי־זְבוּלֻןbe/NE-ze/vu/LUNthe children of Zebulunלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

    לְיִשָּׂשכָרle/Yis/sash/KHARfor Issacharיָצָאya/TSAcame outהַגּוֹרָלhag/go/RALthe lotהָרְבִיעִיha/re/vi/Ithe fourthלִבְנֵיliv/NEfor the children ofיִשָּׂשכָרYis/sash/KHARIssacharלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְּבוּלָםge/vu/LAMtheir territoryיִזְרְעֶאלָהYiz/re/E/latoward Jezreelוְהַכְּסוּלֹתve/hak/Ke/su/LOTand Chesullothוְשׁוּנֵם׃ve/Shu/NEMand Shunem

    And their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

    וַחֲפָרַיִםva/Cha/fa/RA/yimand Hapharaimוְשִׁיאֹןve/Shi/ONand Shionוַאֲנָחֲרַת׃va/A/na/cha/RATand Anaharath

    And Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

  20. 20

    וְהָרַבִּיתve/Ha/rab/BITand Rabbithוְקִשְׁיוֹןve/Kish/YONand Kishionוָאָבֶץ׃va/A/vetsand Ebez

    And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

  21. 21

    וְרֶמֶתve/RE/metand Remethוְעֵין־גַּנִּיםve/EN-gan/NIMand En-gannimוְעֵיןve/ENand En-חַדָּהchad/DAhaddahוּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-פַּצֵּץ׃pats/TSETSpazzez

    And Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;

    וּפָגַעu/fa/GAand reachedהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULthe borderבְּתָבוֹרbe/Ta/VORto Tabor[וְשַׁחֲצִימָה]Ve/sha/cha/tsi/MAand Shahazumahוּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-שֶׁמֶשׁSHE/meshshemeshוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand wereתֹּצְאוֹתtots/OTthe goings out ofגְּבוּלָםge/vu/LAMtheir borderהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENat the Jordanעָרִיםa/RIMcitiesשֵׁשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהshesh-es/REsixteenוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

    וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand came outהַגּוֹרָלhag/go/RALthe lotהַחֲמִישִׁיha/cha/mi/SHIthe fifthלְמַטֵּהle/mat/TEfor the tribe ofבְנֵי־אָשֵׁרve/NE-a/SHERthe children of Asherלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְּבוּלָםge/vu/LAMtheir borderחֶלְקַתChel/KATHelkathוַחֲלִיva/Cha/LIand Haliוָבֶטֶןva/VE/tenand Betenוְאַכְשָׁף׃ve/Akh/SHAFand Achshaph

    And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

  26. 26

    וְאַלַמֶּלֶךְve/A/lam/ME/lekhand Alammelechוְעַמְעָדve/Am/ADand Amadוּמִשְׁאָלu/Mish/ALand Mishalוּפָגַעu/fa/GAand reachedבְּכַרְמֶלbe/Khar/MELto Carmelהַיָּמָּהhay/YAM/mawestwardוּבְשִׁיחוֹרu/ve/Shi/CHORand to Shihor-לִבְנָת׃liv/NATlibnath

    And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath;

    וְשָׁבve/SHAVand turnedמִזְרַחmiz/RACHtoward the rising ofהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunבֵּיתBetto Beth-דָּגֹןda/GONdagonוּפָגַעu/fa/GAand reachedבִּזְבֻלוּןBiz/vu/LUNto Zebulunוּבְגֵיu/ve/GEand to the valley ofיִפְתַּח־אֵלYif/TACH-elJiphthah-elצָפוֹנָהtsa/FO/naon the northבֵּיתBetBeth-הָעֵמֶקha/E/mekemekוּנְעִיאֵלu/Ne/i/ELand Neielוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand went outאֶל־כָּבוּלel-Ka/VULto Cabulמִשְּׂמֹאל׃mis/se/MOLon the left

    And turneth toward the sunrising to Beth-dagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el toward the north side of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,

    וְעֶבְרֹןve/Ev/RONand Ebronוּרְחֹבu/Re/CHOVand Rehobוְחַמּוֹןve/Cham/MONand Hammonוְקָנָהve/Ka/NAand Kanahעַדadas far asצִידוֹןTsi/DONZidonרַבָּה׃rab/BAthe great

    And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;

    וְשָׁבve/SHAVand turnedהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULthe borderהָרָמָהha/Ra/MAto Ramahוְעַד־עִירve/AD-irand to the city ofמִבְצַר־צֹרmiv/TSAR-Tsorfortified Tyreוְשָׁבve/SHAVand turnedהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULthe borderחֹסָהCho/SAto Hosah(ויהיו)vayahayav[וְהָיוּ]ve/ha/YUand wereתֹצְאֹתָיוtots/o/TAYVits goings outהַיָּמָּהhay/YAM/maat the seaמֵחֶבֶלme/CHE/velfrom the regionאַכְזִיבָה׃Akh/ZI/vato Achzib

    And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:

    וְעֻמָהve/U/MAand Umahוַאֲפֵקva/A/FEKand Aphekוּרְחֹבu/Re/CHOVand Rehobעָרִיםa/RIMcitiesעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyוּשְׁתַּיִםush/TA/yimand twoוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.

    זֹאתzotthisנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofבְנֵי־אָשֵׁרve/NE-a/SHERthe children of Asherלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

    לִבְנֵיliv/NEto the children ofנַפְתָּלִיNaf/ta/LINaphtaliיָצָאya/TSAcame outהַגּוֹרָלhag/go/RALthe lotהַשִּׁשִּׁיhash/shish/SHIthe sixthלִבְנֵיliv/NEfor the children ofנַפְתָּלִיNaf/ta/LINaphtaliלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְבוּלָםge/vu/LAMtheir borderמֵחֵלֶףme/CHE/leffrom Helephמֵאֵלוֹןme/E/LONfrom Allonבְּצַעֲנַנִּיםbe/Tsa/a/nan/NIMto Zaanannimוַאֲדָמִיva/A/da/MIand Adami-הַנֶּקֶבhan/NE/kevnekebוְיַבְנְאֵלve/Yav/ne/ELand Jabneelעַד־לַקּוּםad-Lak/KUMto Lakumוַיְהִיvay/HIand wereתֹצְאֹתָיוtots/o/TAYVits goings outהַיַּרְדֵּן׃hay/Yar/DENat the Jordan

    And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:

    וְשָׁבve/SHAVand turnedהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULthe borderיָמָּהYAM/mawestwardאַזְנוֹתAz/NOTto Aznoth-תָּבוֹרta/VORtaborוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand went outמִשָּׁםmish/SHAMfrom thereחוּקֹקָהChu/KO/kato Hukkokוּפָגַעu/fa/GAand reachedבִּזְבֻלוּןBiz/vu/LUNto Zebulunמִנֶּגֶבmin/NE/gevon the southוּבְאָשֵׁרu/ve/A/SHERand to Asherפָּגַעpa/GAit reachedמִיָּםmiy/YAMon the westוּבִיהוּדָהu/Vi/hu/DAand to Judahהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENat the Jordanמִזְרַחmiz/RACHtoward the rising ofהַשָּׁמֶשׁ׃hash/SHA/meshthe sun

    And then the coast turneth westward to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.

    וְעָרֵיve/a/REand the cities ofמִבְצָרmiv/TSARfortificationהַצִּדִּיםHats/tsid/DIMZiddimצֵרTserZerוְחַמַּתve/Cham/MATand HammathרַקַּתRak/KATRakkathוְכִנָּרֶת׃ve/Khin/NA/retand Chinnereth

    And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

    וַאֲדָמָהva/A/da/MAand Adamahוְהָרָמָהve/Ha/ra/MAand Ramahוְחָצוֹר׃ve/Cha/TSORand Hazor

    And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

    וְקֶדֶשׁve/KE/deshand Kedeshוְאֶדְרֶעִיve/Ed/RE/iand Edreiוְעֵיןve/ENand En-חָצוֹר׃cha/TSORhazor

    And Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-hazor,

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.

    לְמַטֵּהle/mat/TEfor the tribe ofבְנֵי־דָןve/NE-danthe children of Danלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesיָצָאya/TSAcame outהַגּוֹרָלhag/go/RALthe lotהַשְּׁבִיעִי׃hash/she/vi/Ithe seventh

    And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְּבוּלge/VULthe territory ofנַחֲלָתָםna/cha/la/TAMtheir inheritanceצׇרְעָהTsor/AZorahוְאֶשְׁתָּאוֹלve/Esh/ta/OLand Eshtaolוְעִירve/IRand Ir-שָׁמֶשׁ׃SHA/meshshemesh

    And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

    וְשַׁעֲלַבִּיןve/Sha/a/lab/BINand Shaalabbinוְאַיָּלוֹןve/Ay/ya/LONand Aijalonוְיִתְלָה׃ve/Yit/LAand Ithlah

    And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,

    וְאֵילוֹןve/E/LONand Elonוְתִמְנָתָהve/Tim/NA/taand Timnahוְעֶקְרוֹן׃ve/Ek/RONand Ekron

    And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

    And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

    וּמֵיu/MEand Me-הַיַּרְקוֹןhay/yar/KONjarkonוְהָרַקּוֹןve/Ha/rak/KONand Rakkonעִם־הַגְּבוּלim-hag/ge/VULwith the borderמוּלmuloppositeיָפוֹ׃Ya/FOJoppa

    And Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.

    וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand went outגְבוּל־בְּנֵי־דָןge/VUL-be/NE-Danthe border of the children of Danמֵהֶםme/HEMfrom themוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUso went upבְנֵי־דָןve/NE-danthe children of Danוַיִּלָּחֲמוּvay/yil/la/cha/MUand they foughtעִם־לֶשֶׁםim-LE/shemagainst Leshemוַיִּלְכְּדוּvay/yil/ke/DUand tookאוֹתָהּo/TAitוַיַּכּוּvay/yak/KUand struckאוֹתָהּo/TAitלְפִי־חֶרֶבle/FI-CHE/revwith the edge of the swordוַיִּרְשׁוּvay/yir/SHUand possessedאוֹתָהּo/TAitוַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand dweltבָהּvain itוַיִּקְרְאוּvay/yik/re/Uand calledלְלֶשֶׁםLe/LE/shemLeshemדָּןDanDanכְּשֵׁםke/SHEMafter the name ofדָּןDanDanאֲבִיהֶם׃a/vi/HEMtheir father

    And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

    זֹאתzotthisנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofבְנֵי־דָןve/NE-danthe children of Danלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENwith their villages

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

  49. 49

    וַיְכַלּוּvay/khal/LUwhen they had finishedלִנְחֹל־אֶת־הָאָרֶץlin/CHOL-et-ha/A/retsdividing the land for inheritanceלִגְבוּלֹתֶיהָlig/vu/lo/TE/haby its bordersוַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUgaveבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelנַחֲלָהna/cha/LAan inheritanceלִיהוֹשֻׁעַLi/ho/SHU/aJoshuaבִּן־נוּןbin-Nunthe son of Nunבְּתוֹכָם׃be/to/KHAMamong them

    When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:

    עַל־פִּיal-piaccording to the word ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey gaveלוֹloto himאֶת־הָעִירet-ha/IRthe cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשָׁאָלsha/ALhe askedאֶת־תִּמְנַת־סֶרַחet-Tim/NAT-SE/rachTimnath-serahבְּהַרbe/HARin the hill country ofאֶפְרָיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimוַיִּבְנֶהvay/yiv/NEand he builtאֶת־הָעִירet-ha/IRthe cityוַיֵּשֶׁבvay/YE/shevand dweltבָּהּ׃bain it

    According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseהַנְּחָלֹתhan/ne/cha/LOTare the inheritancesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִחֲלוּni/cha/LUdistributed as inheritanceאֶלְעָזָרEl/a/ZAREleazarהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוִיהוֹשֻׁעַVi/ho/SHU/aand Joshuaבִּן־נוּןbin-Nunthe son of Nunוְרָאשֵׁיve/ra/SHEand the heads ofהָאָבוֹתha/a/VOTfathersלְמַטּוֹתle/mat/TOTof the tribes ofבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלbe/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelבְּגוֹרָלbe/go/RALby lotבְּשִׁלֹהbe/Shi/LOin Shilohלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDפֶּתַחPE/tachat the door ofאֹהֶלO/helthe tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingוַיְכַלּוּvay/khal/LUso they made an endמֵחַלֵּקme/chal/LEKof dividingאֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃et-ha/A/retsthe land

    These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
