   וַיֵּצֵאand went outהַגּוֹרָלthe lotהַשֵּׁנִיthe secondלְשִׁמְעוֹןfor Simeonלְמַטֵּהof the tribe ofבְנֵי־שִׁמְעוֹןsons of Simeonלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםto their familiesוַיְהִיand it came to passנַחֲלָתָםtheir inheritanceבְּתוֹךְamongנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofבְּנֵי־יְהוּדָה׃sons of Judah

   And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

   וַיְהִיand it came to passלָהֶםto themבְּנַחֲלָתָםin their inheritanceבְּאֵר־שֶׁבַעBeer-shebaוְשֶׁבַעand Shebaוּמוֹלָדָה׃and Moladah

   And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, or Sheba, and Moladah,

   וַחֲצַרand HazarשׁוּעָלShualוּבָלָהand Balahוָעָצֶם׃and Ezem

   And Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Azem,

4. 4

   וְאֶלְתּוֹלַדand Eltoladוּבְתוּלand Bethulוְחׇרְמָה׃and Hormah

   And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5. 5

   וְצִקְלַגand Ziklagוּבֵית־הַמַּרְכָּבוֹתand Beth-marcabothוַחֲצַרand Hazarסוּסָה׃Susah

   And Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

   וּבֵיתand Beth-לְבָאוֹתlebaothוְשָׁרוּחֶןand Sharuhenעָרִיםcitiesשְׁלֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהthirteenוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

   And Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages:

   עַיִןAinרִמּוֹןRimmonוָעֶתֶרand Etherוְעָשָׁןand Ashanעָרִיםcitiesאַרְבַּעfourוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

   Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:

   וְכׇל־הַחֲצֵרִיםand all the villagesאֲשֶׁרwhichסְבִיבוֹתaroundהֶעָרִיםthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהtheseעַד־בַּעֲלַתuntil BaalathבְּאֵרBeerרָאמַתRamathנֶגֶבsouthזֹאתthisנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהthe tribe ofבְנֵי־שִׁמְעוֹןsons of Simeonלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃to their families

   And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramath of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

   מֵחֶבֶלfrom the portion ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיְהוּדָהJudahנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofשִׁמְעוֹןSimeonכִּי־הָיָהbecause wasחֵלֶקpartבְּנֵי־יְהוּדָהsons of Judahרַבgreatמֵהֶםof themוַיִּנְחֲלוּand they received their inheritanceבְנֵי־שִׁמְעוֹןsons of Simeonבְּתוֹךְamongנַחֲלָתָם׃their inheritance

   Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.

    וַיַּעַלand he ascendedהַגּוֹרָלthe lotהַשְּׁלִישִׁיthe thirdלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofזְבוּלֻןZebulunלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesוַיְהִיand it came to passגְּבוּלborder ofנַחֲלָתָםtheir inheritanceעַד־שָׂרִיד׃unto Sarid

    And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid:

11. 11

    וְעָלָהand he shall come upגְבוּלָםtheir territoryלַיָּמָּהto the westוּמַרְעֲלָהand Maralahוּפָגַעand it touchesבְּדַבָּשֶׁתDabbeshethוּפָגַעand it touchesאֶל־הַנַּחַלto the riverאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־פְּנֵיupon the face ofיׇקְנְעָם׃Jokneam

    And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;

    וְשָׁבand shall returnמִשָּׂרִידfrom Saridקֵדְמָהon the eastמִזְרַחthe rising ofהַשֶּׁמֶשׁthe sunעַל־גְּבוּלupon the border ofכִּסְלֹתKislothתָּבֹרTaborוְיָצָאand shall come forthאֶל־הַדָּבְרַתto Daberathוְעָלָהand he shall come upיָפִיעַ׃Japhia

    And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chisloth-tabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,

    וּמִשָּׁםand from thenceעָבַרpassedקֵדְמָהon the eastמִזְרָחָהeastwardגִּתָּהto GathחֵפֶרHepherעִתָּהto Ittahקָצִיןkazinוְיָצָאand shall come forthרִמּוֹןRimmonהַמְּתֹאָרwhich reaches toהַנֵּעָה׃Neah

    And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittah-hepher, to Ittah-kazin, and goeth out to Remmon-methoar to Neah;

14. 14

    וְנָסַבand it will turnאֹתוֹitהַגְּבוּלthe border ofמִצְּפוֹןon the northחַנָּתֹןHannathonוְהָיוּthen they shall beתֹּצְאֹתָיוits extremitiesגֵּיthe valley ofיִפְתַּח־אֵל׃Jiphthah-el

    And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthah-el:

15. 15

    וְקַטָּתand Kattahוְנַהֲלָלand Nahalalוְשִׁמְרוֹןand Shimronוְיִדְאֲלָהand Idalahוּבֵיתand Beth-לָחֶםlehemעָרִיםcitiesשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהtwelveוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities with their villages.

16. 16

    זֹאתthisנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofבְּנֵי־זְבוּלֻןsons of Zebulunלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםto their familiesהֶעָרִיםthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהtheseוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

17. 17

    לְיִשָּׂשכָרfor Issacharיָצָאhe went forthהַגּוֹרָלthe lotהָרְבִיעִיthe fourthלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofיִשָּׂשכָרIssacharלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם׃to their families

    And the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

18. 18

    וַיְהִיand it came to passגְּבוּלָםtheir territoryיִזְרְעֶאלָהto Jezreelוְהַכְּסוּלֹתand Chesullothוְשׁוּנֵם׃and Shunem

    And their border was toward Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19. 19

    וַחֲפָרַיִםand Hapharaimוְשִׁיאֹןand Shionוַאֲנָחֲרַת׃and Anaharath

    And Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

20. 20

    וְהָרַבִּיתand Rabbithוְקִשְׁיוֹןand Kishionוָאָבֶץ׃and Ebez

    And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,

21. 21

    וְרֶמֶתand Remethוְעֵין־גַּנִּיםand En-gannimוְעֵיןand En-חַדָּהhaddahוּבֵיתand Beth-פַּצֵּץ׃pazzez

    And Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;

    וּפָגַעand it touchesהַגְּבוּלthe border ofבְּתָבוֹרTabor[וְשַׁחֲצִימָה]and to Shahazayimוּבֵיתand Beth-שֶׁמֶשׁshemeshוְהָיוּthen they shall beתֹּצְאוֹתthe extremities ofגְּבוּלָםtheir territoryהַיַּרְדֵּןthe Jordanעָרִיםcitiesשֵׁשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהsixteenוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    And the coast reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and the outgoings of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

    זֹאתthisנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהthe tribe ofבְנֵי־יִשָּׂשכָרsons of Issacharלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesהֶעָרִיםthe citiesוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.

24. 24

    וַיֵּצֵאand went outהַגּוֹרָלthe lotהַחֲמִישִׁיthe fifthלְמַטֵּהof the tribe ofבְנֵי־אָשֵׁרsons of Asherלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם׃to their families

    And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

25. 25

    וַיְהִיand it came to passגְּבוּלָםtheir territoryחֶלְקַתHelkathוַחֲלִיand Haliוָבֶטֶןand Betenוְאַכְשָׁף׃and Achshaph

    And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

26. 26

    וְאַלַמֶּלֶךְand Alammelechוְעַמְעָדand Amadוּמִשְׁאָלand Mishalוּפָגַעand it touchesבְּכַרְמֶלCarmelהַיָּמָּהto the seaוּבְשִׁיחוֹרand Shihorלִבְנָת׃Libnath

    And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath;

27. 27

    וְשָׁבand shall returnמִזְרַחthe rising ofהַשֶּׁמֶשׁthe sunבֵּיתBeth-דָּגֹןdagonוּפָגַעand it touchesבִּזְבֻלוּןZebulunוּבְגֵיand the valley ofיִפְתַּח־אֵלJiphthah-elצָפוֹנָהnorthwardבֵּיתBeth-הָעֵמֶקemekוּנְעִיאֵלand Neielוְיָצָאand shall come forthאֶל־כָּבוּלto Cabulמִשְּׂמֹאל׃on the left of

    And turneth toward the sunrising to Beth-dagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el toward the north side of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,

28. 28

    וְעֶבְרֹןand Ebronוּרְחֹבand Rehobוְחַמּוֹןand Hammonוְקָנָהand KanahעַדuntilצִידוֹןZidonרַבָּה׃great

    And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, even unto great Zidon;

29. 29

    וְשָׁבand shall returnהַגְּבוּלthe border ofהָרָמָהRamahוְעַד־עִירand unto the cityמִבְצַר־צֹרfortified of Tyreוְשָׁבand shall returnהַגְּבוּלthe border ofחֹסָהHosah(ויהיו)[וְהָיוּ]and beתֹצְאֹתָיוits extremitiesהַיָּמָּהto the seaמֵחֶבֶלfrom the portion ofאַכְזִיבָה׃to Achzib

    And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:

30. 30

    וְעֻמָהand Umahוַאֲפֵקand Aphekוּרְחֹבand Rehobעָרִיםcitiesעֶשְׂרִיםtwentyוּשְׁתַּיִםand twoוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.

31. 31

    זֹאתthisנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהthe tribe ofבְנֵי־אָשֵׁרsons of Asherלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesהֶעָרִיםthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהtheseוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

32. 32

    לִבְנֵיunto the sons ofנַפְתָּלִיNaphtaliיָצָאhe went forthהַגּוֹרָלthe lotהַשִּׁשִּׁיthe sixthלִבְנֵיunto the sons ofנַפְתָּלִיNaphtaliלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃to their families

    The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

33. 33

    וַיְהִיand it came to passגְבוּלָםtheir territoryמֵחֵלֶףfrom Helephמֵאֵלוֹןfrom Allonבְּצַעֲנַנִּיםin Zaanannimוַאֲדָמִיand Adamiהַנֶּקֶבnekebוְיַבְנְאֵלand Jabneelעַד־לַקּוּםuntil Lakkumוַיְהִיand it came to passתֹצְאֹתָיוits extremitiesהַיַּרְדֵּן׃the Jordan

    And their coast was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, unto Lakum; and the outgoings thereof were at Jordan:

34. 34

    וְשָׁבand shall returnהַגְּבוּלthe border ofיָמָּהwestwardאַזְנוֹתAznothתָּבוֹרTaborוְיָצָאand shall come forthמִשָּׁםfrom thereחוּקֹקָהto Hukokוּפָגַעand it touchesבִּזְבֻלוּןZebulunמִנֶּגֶבfrom southוּבְאָשֵׁרand Asherפָּגַעencounteredמִיָּםon the westוּבִיהוּדָהand Judahהַיַּרְדֵּןthe Jordanמִזְרַחthe rising ofהַשָּׁמֶשׁ׃the sun

    And then the coast turneth westward to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan toward the sunrising.

    וְעָרֵיand the cities ofמִבְצָרfortificationהַצִּדִּיםZiddimצֵרZerוְחַמַּתand HammathרַקַּתRakkathוְכִנָּרֶת׃and Chinnereth

    And the fenced cities are Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

36. 36

    וַאֲדָמָהand Adamahוְהָרָמָהand Ramahוְחָצוֹר׃and Hazor

    And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

37. 37

    וְקֶדֶשׁand Kedeshוְאֶדְרֶעִיand Edreiוְעֵיןand En-חָצוֹר׃hazor

    And Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-hazor,

38. 38

    וְיִרְאוֹןand Yironוּמִגְדַּל־אֵלand Migdal-elחֳרֵםHoremוּבֵית־עֲנָתand Beth-anathוּבֵיתand Beth-שָׁמֶשׁshemeshעָרִיםcitiesתְּשַׁע־עֶשְׂרֵהnineteenוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    And Iron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

    זֹאתthisנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהthe tribe ofבְנֵי־נַפְתָּלִיsons of Naphtaliלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesהֶעָרִיםthe citiesוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.

40. 40

    לְמַטֵּהof the tribe ofבְנֵי־דָןsons of Danלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesיָצָאhe went forthהַגּוֹרָלthe lotהַשְּׁבִיעִי׃the seventh

    And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

    וַיְהִיand it came to passגְּבוּלborder ofנַחֲלָתָםtheir inheritanceצׇרְעָהZorahוְאֶשְׁתָּאוֹלand Eshtaolוְעִירand Irשָׁמֶשׁ׃shemesh

    And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

42. 42

    וְשַׁעֲלַבִּיןand Shaalabbinוְאַיָּלוֹןand Aijalonוְיִתְלָה׃and Ithlah

    And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,

43. 43

    וְאֵילוֹןand Elonוְתִמְנָתָהand Timnahוְעֶקְרוֹן׃and Ekron

    And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

44. 44

    וְאֶלְתְּקֵהand Eltekehוְגִבְּתוֹןand Gibbethonוּבַעֲלָת׃and Baalath

    And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

    וִיהֻדand Jehudוּבְנֵי־בְרַקand Bene-berakוְגַת־רִמּוֹן׃and Gath-Rimmon

    וַיֵּצֵאand went outגְבוּל־בְּנֵי־דָןthe territory of sons of Danמֵהֶםof themוַיַּעֲלוּand they ascendedבְנֵי־דָןsons of Danוַיִּלָּחֲמוּand they foughtעִם־לֶשֶׁםwith Leshemוַיִּלְכְּדוּand they capturedאוֹתָהּitוַיַּכּוּand they struckאוֹתָהּitלְפִי־חֶרֶבby the edge of the swordוַיִּרְשׁוּand they took possession ofאוֹתָהּitוַיֵּשְׁבוּand they had dweltבָהּin itוַיִּקְרְאוּand they calledלְלֶשֶׁםLeshemדָּןDanכְּשֵׁםafterדָּןDanאֲבִיהֶם׃their father

    And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

    זֹאתthisנַחֲלַתthe inheritance ofמַטֵּהthe tribe ofבְנֵי־דָןsons of Danלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםto their familiesהֶעָרִיםthe citiesהָאֵלֶּהtheseוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃and their villages

    This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

49. 49

    וַיְכַלּוּand they finishedלִנְחֹל־אֶת־הָאָרֶץto divide the landלִגְבוּלֹתֶיהָto its bordersוַיִּתְּנוּand they gaveבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of IsraelנַחֲלָהinheritanceלִיהוֹשֻׁעַJoshuaבִּן־נוּןson of Nunבְּתוֹכָם׃among them

    When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their coasts, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:

50. 50

    עַל־פִּיaccording toיְהֹוָהthe LORDנָתְנוּthey gaveלוֹto himאֶת־הָעִירthe cityאֲשֶׁרwhichשָׁאָלhe asked forאֶת־תִּמְנַת־סֶרַחTimnath-Serahבְּהַרon the mount ofאֶפְרָיִםEphraimוַיִּבְנֶהand he builtאֶת־הָעִירthe cityוַיֵּשֶׁבand dweltבָּהּ׃in it

    According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.

    אֵלֶּהtheseהַנְּחָלֹתare the inheritancesאֲשֶׁרwhichנִחֲלוּthey gave as a possessionאֶלְעָזָרEleazarהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוִיהוֹשֻׁעַand Joshuaבִּן־נוּןson of Nunוְרָאשֵׁיand the heads ofהָאָבוֹתthe fathersלְמַטּוֹתto the tribes ofבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelבְּגוֹרָלby lotבְּשִׁלֹהin Shilohלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDפֶּתַחdoor ofאֹהֶלtent ofמוֹעֵדthe congregationוַיְכַלּוּand they finishedמֵחַלֵּקfrom apportioningאֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃the land

    These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
