    Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

    This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,

    From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:

    מִתֵּימָןmit/te/MANon the southכׇּל־אֶרֶץkol-E/retsall the land ofהַכְּנַעֲנִיhak/Ke/na/a/NIthe Canaanitesוּמְעָרָהu/Me/a/RAand Mearahאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat belongsלַצִּידֹנִיםlats/Tsi/do/NIMto the Zidoniansעַד־אֲפֵקָהad-A/FE/kato Aphekעַדadtoגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofהָאֱמֹרִי׃ha/E/mo/RIthe Amorites

    From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:

    וְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the land ofהַגִּבְלִיhag/Giv/LIthe Giblitesוְכׇל־הַלְּבָנוֹןve/KHOL-hal/le/va/NONand all Lebanonמִזְרַחmiz/RACHtoward the rising ofהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunמִבַּעַלmib/BA/alfrom Baal-גָּדgadgadתַּחַתTA/chatunderהַר־חֶרְמוֹןHar-cher/MONMount HermonעַדadtoלְבוֹאLe/VOLeboחֲמָת׃Cha/MATHamath

    And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.

    כׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵיkol-yosh/VEall the inhabitants ofהָהָרha/HARthe hill countryמִן־הַלְּבָנוֹןmin-Hal/le/va/NONfrom Lebanonעַד־מִשְׂרְפֹתad-Mis/re/FOTto Misrephoth-מַיִםMA/yimmaimכׇּל־צִידֹנִיםkol-Tsi/do/NIMall the Zidoniansאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIאוֹרִישֵׁםo/ri/SHEMwill drive them outמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEfrom beforeבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelרַקrakonlyהַפִּלֶהָhap/pi/LE/haallot itלְיִשְׂרָאֵלle/Yis/ra/ELto Israelבְּנַחֲלָהbe/na/cha/LAas an inheritanceכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוִּיתִיךָ׃tsiv/vi/TI/khaI have commanded you

    All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowחַלֵּקchal/LEKdivideאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisבְּנַחֲלָהbe/na/cha/LAas an inheritanceלְתִשְׁעַתle/tish/ATto the nineהַשְּׁבָטִיםhash/she/va/TIMtribesוַחֲצִיva/cha/TSIand halfהַשֵּׁבֶטhash/SHE/vetthe tribeהַמְנַשֶּׁה׃Ham/nash/SHEManasseh

    Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,

    עִמּוֹim/MOwith himהָראוּבֵנִיhaR/u/ve/NIthe Reubenitesוְהַגָּדִיve/hag/Ga/DIand the Gaditesלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUhave receivedנַחֲלָתָםna/cha/la/TAMtheir inheritanceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַןna/TANgaveלָהֶםla/HEMto themמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesבְּעֵבֶרbe/E/verbeyondהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENthe Jordanמִזְרָחָהmiz/RA/chaeastwardכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנָתַןna/TANgaveלָהֶםla/HEMto themמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesעֶבֶדE/vedthe servant ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;

    מֵעֲרוֹעֵרme/A/ro/ERfrom Aroerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isעַל־שְׂפַת־נַחַלal-se/FAT-NA/chalon the bank of the valley ofאַרְנוֹןAr/NONArnonוְהָעִירve/ha/IRand the cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבְּתוֹךְ־הַנַּחַלbe/TOKH-han/NA/chalin the midst of the valleyוְכׇל־הַמִּישֹׁרve/KHOL-ham/mi/SHORand all the plainמֵידְבָאmE/de/VAof Medebaעַד־דִּיבוֹן׃ad-Di/VONto Dibon

    From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;

    וְכֹלve/KHOLand allעָרֵיa/REthe cities ofסִיחוֹןSi/CHONSihonמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofהָאֱמֹרִיha/E/mo/RIof the Amoritesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoמָלַךְma/LAKHreignedבְּחֶשְׁבּוֹןbe/Chesh/BONin Heshbonעַד־גְּבוּלad-ge/VULto the border ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofעַמּוֹן׃Am/MONAmmon

    And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;

    וְהַגִּלְעָדve/hag/Gil/ADand Gileadוּגְבוּלu/ge/VULand the territory ofהַגְּשׁוּרִיhag/Ge/shu/RIthe Geshuritesוְהַמַּעֲכָתִיve/ham/Ma/a/kha/TIand the Maachathitesוְכֹלve/KHOLand allהַרHarMountחֶרְמוֹןCher/MONHermonוְכׇל־הַבָּשָׁןve/KHOL-hab/ba/SHANand all Bashanעַד־סַלְכָה׃ad-Sal/KHAto Salcah

    And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;

    כׇּל־מַמְלְכוּתkol-mam/le/KHUTall the kingdom ofעוֹגOgOgבַּבָּשָׁןbab/Ba/SHANin Bashanאֲשֶׁר־מָלַךְa/SHER-ma/LAKHwho reignedבְּעַשְׁתָּרוֹתbe/Ash/ta/ROTin Ashtarothוּבְאֶדְרֶעִיu/ve/Ed/RE/iand in Edreiהוּאhuheנִשְׁאַרnish/ARwas leftמִיֶּתֶרmiy/YE/terof the remnant ofהָרְפָאִיםha/Re/fa/IMthe Rephaimוַיַּכֵּםvay/yak/KEMfor these struckמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוַיֹּרִשֵׁם׃vay/yo/ri/SHEMand drove them out

    All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.

    וְלֹאve/LOand notהוֹרִישׁוּho/RI/shudid drive outבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶת־הַגְּשׁוּרִיet-Hag/ge/shu/RIthe Geshuritesוְאֶת־הַמַּעֲכָתִיve/ET-ham/ma/a/kha/TIand the Maachathitesוַיֵּשֶׁבvay/YE/shevbut dwellגְּשׁוּרGe/SHURGeshurוּמַעֲכָתu/Ma/a/KHATand Maacathבְּקֶרֶבbe/KE/revin the midst ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעַדadtoהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.

    רַקrakonlyלְשֵׁבֶטle/SHE/vetto the tribe ofהַלֵּוִיHal/le/VILeviלֹאlonotנָתַןna/TANhe gaveנַחֲלָהna/cha/LAan inheritanceאִשֵּׁיish/SHEthe offerings made by fire ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהוּאhuareנַחֲלָתוֹna/cha/la/TOhis inheritanceכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּר־לוֹ׃dib/BER-loHe said to him

    Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.

    וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand gaveמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלְמַטֵּהle/mat/TEto the tribe ofבְנֵי־רְאוּבֵןve/NE-re/u/VENthe children of Reubenלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families.

  16. 16

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasלָהֶםla/HEMtheirהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULterritoryמֵעֲרוֹעֵרme/A/ro/ERfrom Aroerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isעַל־שְׂפַת־נַחַלal-se/FAT-NA/chalon the bank of the valley ofאַרְנוֹןAr/NONArnonוְהָעִירve/ha/IRand the cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבְּתוֹךְ־הַנַּחַלbe/TOKH-han/NA/chalin the midst of the valleyוְכׇל־הַמִּישֹׁרve/KHOL-ham/mi/SHORand all the plainעַל־מֵידְבָא׃al-Me/de/VAby Medeba

    And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;

    חֶשְׁבּוֹןChesh/BONHeshbonוְכׇל־עָרֶיהָve/KHOL-a/RE/haand all its citiesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat areבַּמִּישֹׁרbam/mi/SHORare in the plainדִּיבֹןDi/VONDibonוּבָמוֹתu/Va/MOTand Bamoth-בַּעַלBA/albaalוּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-בַּעַלBA/albaal-מְעוֹן׃me/ONmeon

    Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,

  18. 18

    וְיַהְצָהve/YAH/tsaand Jahazוּקְדֵמֹתu/Ke/de/MOTand Kedemothוּמֵפָעַת׃u/Me/FA/atand Mephaath

    And Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

  19. 19

    וְקִרְיָתַיִםve/Kir/ya/TA/yimand Kiriathaimוְשִׂבְמָהve/Siv/MAand Sibmahוְצֶרֶתve/TSE/retand Zereth-הַשַּׁחַרhash/SHA/charshaharבְּהַרbe/HARon the mount ofהָעֵמֶק׃ha/E/mekthe valley

    And Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-shahar in the mount of the valley,

  20. 20

    וּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-פְּעוֹרpe/ORpeorוְאַשְׁדּוֹתve/ash/DOTand the slopes ofהַפִּסְגָּהHap/pis/GAPisgahוּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-הַיְשִׁמוֹת׃hay/shi/MOTjeshimoth

    And Beth-peor, and Ashdoth-pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth,

  21. 21

    וְכֹלve/KHOLand allעָרֵיa/REthe cities ofהַמִּישֹׁרham/mi/SHORthe plainוְכׇל־מַמְלְכוּתve/KHOL-mam/le/KHUTand all the kingdom ofסִיחוֹןSi/CHONSihonמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofהָאֱמֹרִיha/E/mo/RIof the Amoritesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoמָלַךְma/LAKHreignedבְּחֶשְׁבּוֹןbe/Chesh/BONin Heshbonאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomהִכָּהhik/KAstruckמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֹתוֹo/TOhimוְאֶת־נְשִׂיאֵיve/ET-ne/si/Ewith the leaders ofמִדְיָןMid/YANMidianאֶת־אֱוִיet-E/VIEviוְאֶת־רֶקֶםve/ET-RE/kemand Rekemוְאֶת־צוּרve/ET-tsurand Zurוְאֶת־חוּרve/ET-churand Hurוְאֶת־רֶבַעve/ET-RE/vaand Rebaנְסִיכֵיne/si/KHEthe princes ofסִיחוֹןSi/CHONSihonיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEwho dwelt inהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe land

    And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.

    וְאֶת־בִּלְעָםve/ET-bil/AMand Balaamבֶּן־בְּעוֹרben-Be/ORthe son of Beorהַקּוֹסֵםhak/ko/SEMthe divinerהָרְגוּha/re/GUhad slainבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelבַּחֶרֶבba/CHE/revwith the swordאֶל־חַלְלֵיהֶם׃el-chal/le/HEMamong their slain

    Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENthe Jordanוּגְבוּלu/ge/VULand its borderזֹאתzotthisנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATthe inheritance ofבְּנֵי־רְאוּבֵןbe/NE-re/u/VENthe children of Reubenלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesוְחַצְרֵיהֶן׃ve/chats/re/HENand their villages

    And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

    וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand gaveמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלְמַטֵּה־גָדle/Mat/TE-gadto the tribe of Gadלִבְנֵי־גָדliv/NE-Gadto the children of Gadלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasלָהֶםla/HEMtheirהַגְּבוּלhag/ge/VULterritoryיַעְזֵרYa/ZERJazerוְכׇל־עָרֵיve/KHOL-a/REand all the cities ofהַגִּלְעָדHag/gil/ADGileadוַחֲצִיva/cha/TSIand halfאֶרֶץE/retsthe land ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofעַמּוֹןAm/MONAmmonעַד־עֲרוֹעֵרad-A/ro/ERto Aroerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEbeforeרַבָּה׃Rab/BARabbah

    And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;

    וּמֵחֶשְׁבּוֹןu/Me/chesh/BONand from Heshbonעַד־רָמַתad-Ra/MATto Ramath-הַמִּצְפֶּהham/mits/PEmizpehוּבְטֹנִיםu/ve/To/NIMand Betonimוּמִמַּחֲנַיִםu/Mim/ma/cha/NA/yimand from Mahanaimעַד־גְּבוּלad-ge/VULto the border ofלִדְבִר׃Lid/VIRDebir

    And from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;

    וּבָעֵמֶקu/va/E/mekand in the valleyבֵּיתBetBeth-הָרָםha/RAMharamוּבֵיתu/VETand Beth-נִמְרָהnim/RAnimrahוְסֻכּוֹתve/Suk/KOTand Succothוְצָפוֹןve/Tsa/FONand ZaphonיֶתֶרYE/terthe rest ofמַמְלְכוּתmam/le/KHUTthe kingdom ofסִיחוֹןSi/CHONSihonמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofחֶשְׁבּוֹןChesh/BONHeshbonהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENthe Jordanוּגְבֻלu/ge/VULand its borderעַד־קְצֵהad-ke/TSEto the end ofיָם־כִּנֶּרֶתyam-Kin/NE/retthe Sea of ChinnerethעֵבֶרE/verbeyondהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENthe Jordanמִזְרָחָה׃miz/RA/chaeastward

    And in the valley, Beth-aram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.

    זֹאתzotthisנַחֲלַתna/cha/LATthe inheritance ofבְּנֵי־גָדbe/NE-gadthe children of Gadלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their familiesהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesוְחַצְרֵיהֶם׃ve/chats/re/HEMand their villages

    This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.

    וַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand gaveמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלַחֲצִיla/cha/TSIto halfשֵׁבֶטSHE/vetthe tribe ofמְנַשֶּׁהMe/nash/SHEManassehוַיְהִיvay/HIand it wasלַחֲצִיla/cha/TSIfor halfמַטֵּהmat/TEthe tribe ofבְנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁהve/NE-me/nash/SHEthe children of Manassehלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְבוּלָםge/vu/LAMtheir territoryמִמַּחֲנַיִםmim/Ma/cha/NA/yimfrom Mahanaimכׇּל־הַבָּשָׁןkol-Hab/ba/SHANall Bashanכׇּל־מַמְלְכוּתkol-mam/le/KHUTall the kingdom ofעוֹגOgOgמֶלֶךְ־הַבָּשָׁןME/lekh-Hab/ba/SHANthe king of Bashanוְכׇל־חַוֺּתve/KHOL-chav/VOTand all Havvoth-יָאִירya/IRjairאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areבַּבָּשָׁןbab/Ba/SHANin Bashanשִׁשִּׁיםshish/SHIMsixtyעִיר׃ircities

    And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:

    וַחֲצִיva/cha/TSIand halfהַגִּלְעָדHag/gil/ADGileadוְעַשְׁתָּרוֹתve/Ash/ta/ROTand Ashtarothוְאֶדְרֶעִיve/Ed/RE/iand Edreiעָרֵיa/REthe cities ofמַמְלְכוּתmam/le/KHUTthe kingdom ofעוֹגOgOgבַּבָּשָׁןbab/Ba/SHANin Bashanלִבְנֵיliv/NEto the children ofמָכִירMa/KHIRMachirבֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁהben-Me/nash/SHEthe son of Manassehלַחֲצִיla/cha/TSIto halfבְנֵי־מָכִירve/NE-ma/KHIRthe children of Machirלְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.

    These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.

    But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.
