Isaiah 25 יְשַׁעְיָהוּ פרק כ״ה

   יְהֹוָהAdonaiO-LORDאֱלֹהַיe/lo/HAYmy-Godאַתָּהat/TAYouאֲרוֹמִמְךָa/ro/mim/KHAI-will-exalt-Youאוֹדֶהo/DEI-will-praiseשִׁמְךָshim/KHAYour-nameכִּיkiforעָשִׂיתָa/SI/taYou-have-doneפֶּלֶאPE/lea-wonderעֵצוֹתe/TSOTcounselsמֵרָחֹקme/ra/CHOKof-oldאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithfulnessאֹמֶן׃O/mentruth

   O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

   כִּיkiforשַׂמְתָּSAM/taYou-have-madeמֵעִירme/IRfrom-a-cityלַגָּלlag/GALinto-a-heapקִרְיָהkir/YAa-townבְצוּרָהve/tsu/RAfortifiedלְמַפֵּלָהle/map/pe/LAinto-a-ruinאַרְמוֹןar/MONa-palace-ofזָרִיםza/RIMstrangersמֵעִירme/IRfrom-being-a-cityלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverלֹאlonotיִבָּנֶה׃yib/ba/NEshall-it-be-built

   For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeיְכַבְּדוּךָye/khab/be/DU/khashall-glorify-Youעַם־עָזam-azthe-strong-peopleקִרְיַתkir/YATthe-city-ofגּוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsעָרִיצִיםa/ri/TSIMtyrantsיִירָאוּךָ׃yi/ra/U/khashall-fear-You

   Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

   כִּי־הָיִיתָki-ha/YI/tafor-You-have-beenמָעוֹזma/OZa-strongholdלַדָּלlad/DALto-the-poorמָעוֹזma/OZa-strongholdלָאֶבְיוֹןla/ev/YONto-the-needyבַּצַּר־לוֹbats/TSAR-loin-his-distressמַחְסֶהmach/SEa-refugeמִזֶּרֶםmiz/ZE/remfrom-the-stormצֵלtsela-shadeמֵחֹרֶבme/CHO/revfrom-the-heatכִּיkiforרוּחַRU/achthe-blast-ofעָרִיצִיםa/ri/TSIMtyrantsכְּזֶרֶםke/ZE/remlike-a-storm-againstקִיר׃kira-wall

   For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

   כְּחֹרֶבke/CHO/revas-the-heatבְּצָיוֹןbe/tsa/YONin-a-dry-placeשְׁאוֹןshe/ONthe-noise-ofזָרִיםza/RIMstrangersתַּכְנִיעַtakh/NI/aYou-shall-bring-downחֹרֶבCHO/revheatבְּצֵלbe/TSELby-the-shadow-ofעָבava-cloudזְמִירze/MIRthe-song-ofעָרִיצִיםa/ri/TSIMtyrantsיַעֲנֶה׃ya/a/NEshall-be-humbled

   Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

   וְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand-shall-makeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe-LORDצְבָאוֹתTse/va/OTof-Hostsלְכׇל־הָעַמִּיםle/KHOL-ha/am/MIMto-all-the-peoplesבָּהָרba/HARin-the-mountainהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisמִשְׁתֵּהmish/TEa-feast-ofשְׁמָנִיםshe/ma/NIMfat-thingsמִשְׁתֵּהmish/TEa-feast-ofשְׁמָרִיםshe/ma/RIMwines-on-the-leesשְׁמָנִיםshe/ma/NIMfat-thingsמְמֻחָיִםme/mu/CHA/yimfull-of-marrowשְׁמָרִיםshe/ma/RIMwines-on-the-leesמְזֻקָּקִים׃me/zuk/ka/KIMwell-refined

   And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

   וּבִלַּעu/vil/LAand-He-will-swallow-upבָּהָרba/HARin-the-mountainהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisפְּנֵי־הַלּוֹטpe/NE-hal/LOTthe-face-of-the-coveringהַלּוֹטhal/LOTthat-is-castעַל־כׇּל־הָעַמִּיםal-kol-ha/am/MIMupon-all-the-peoplesוְהַמַּסֵּכָהve/ham/mas/se/KHAand-the-veilהַנְּסוּכָהhan/ne/su/KHAthat-is-spreadעַל־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִם׃al-kol-hag/go/YIMupon-all-the-nations

   And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

   בִּלַּעbil/LAHe-will-swallow-upהַמָּוֶתham/MA/vetdeathלָנֶצַחla/NE/tsachin-victoryוּמָחָהu/ma/CHAand-will-wipe-awayאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe-LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODדִּמְעָהdim/Atearsמֵעַלme/ALfrom-uponכׇּל־פָּנִיםkol-pa/NIMall-facesוְחֶרְפַּתve/cher/PATand-the-reproach-ofעַמּוֹam/MOHis-peopleיָסִירya/SIRHe-shall-take-awayמֵעַלme/ALfrom-uponכׇּל־הָאָרֶץkol-ha/A/retsall-the-earthכִּיkiforיְהֹוָהAdonaithe-LORDדִּבֵּר׃dib/BERhas-spoken

   He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

   וְאָמַרve/a/MARand-it-shall-be-saidבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin-the-dayהַהוּאha/HUthatהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour-Godזֶהzethisקִוִּינוּkiv/VI/nuwe-have-waitedלוֹlofor-Himוְיוֹשִׁיעֵנוּve/yo/shi/E/nuand-He-will-save-usזֶהzethisיְהֹוָהAdonaithe-LORDקִוִּינוּkiv/VI/nuwe-have-waitedלוֹlofor-Himנָגִילָהna/GI/lawe-will-be-gladוְנִשְׂמְחָהve/nis/me/CHAand-rejoiceבִּישׁוּעָתוֹ׃bi/shu/a/TOin-His-salvation

   And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

    כִּי־תָנוּחַki-ta/NU/achfor-shall-restיַד־יְהֹוָהyad-Adonaithe-hand-of-the-LORDבָּהָרba/HARin-the-mountainהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְנָדוֹשׁve/NA/doshand-shall-be-trodden-downמוֹאָבMo/AVMoabתַּחְתָּיוtach/TAYVunder-himכְּהִדּוּשׁke/hid/DUSHas-is-trodden-downמַתְבֵּןmat/BENstraw(במי)vamay[בְּמוֹ]be/MOinמַדְמֵנָה׃mad/me/NAthe-dunghill

    For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

    וּפֵרַשׂu/fe/RASand-he-shall-spread-outיָדָיוya/DAYVhis-handsבְּקִרְבּוֹbe/kir/BOin-his-midstכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיְפָרֵשׂye/fa/RESspreads-outהַשֹּׂחֶהhas/so/CHEhe-that-swimsלִשְׂחוֹתlis/CHOTto-swimוְהִשְׁפִּילve/hish/PILand-He-shall-bring-lowגַּאֲוָתוֹga/a/va/TOhis-prideעִםimtogether-withאׇרְבּוֹתor/BOTthe-spoils-ofיָדָיו׃ya/DAYVhis-hands

    And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

12. 12

    וּמִבְצַרu/miv/TSARand-the-fortress-ofמִשְׂגַּבmis/GAVthe-high-fort-ofחוֹמֹתֶיךָcho/mo/TE/khayour-wallsהֵשַׁחhe/SHACHHe-has-brought-downהִשְׁפִּילhish/PILHe-has-laid-lowהִגִּיעַhig/GI/aHe-has-broughtלָאָרֶץla/A/retsto-the-groundעַד־עָפָר׃ad-a/FAReven-to-the-dust

    And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
