   וַיֵּשֶׁבvay/YE/shevand dweltיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofמְגוּרֵיme/gu/REthe sojournings ofאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofכְּנָעַן׃Ke/NA/anCanaan

   And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.

   These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

   וְיִשְׂרָאֵלve/Yis/ra/ELand Israelאָהַבa/HAVlovedאֶת־יוֹסֵףet-Yo/SEFJosephמִכׇּל־בָּנָיוmik/KOL-ba/NAYVmore than all his childrenכִּי־בֶן־זְקֻנִיםki-ven-ze/ku/NIMbecause the son of his old ageהוּאhuwas heלוֹloto himוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand he madeלוֹlofor himכְּתֹנֶתke/TO/neta coat ofפַּסִּים׃pas/SIMmany colors

   Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

   וַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawאֶחָיוe/CHAYVhis brethrenכִּי־אֹתוֹki-o/TOthat himאָהַבa/HAVlovedאֲבִיהֶםa/vi/HEMtheir fatherמִכׇּל־אֶחָיוmik/KOL-e/CHAYVmore than all his brethrenוַיִּשְׂנְאוּvay/yis/ne/Uand they hatedאֹתוֹo/TOhimוְלֹאve/LOand notיָכְלוּya/khe/LUcouldדַּבְּרוֹdab/be/ROspeak to himלְשָׁלֹם׃le/sha/LOMpeaceably

   And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

   וַיַּחֲלֹםvay/ya/cha/LOMand he dreamedיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephחֲלוֹםcha/LOMa dreamוַיַּגֵּדvay/yag/GEDand he toldלְאֶחָיוle/e/CHAYVto his brethrenוַיּוֹסִפוּvay/yo/SI/fuand they addedעוֹדodyetשְׂנֹאse/NOto hateאֹתוֹ׃o/TOhim

   And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themשִׁמְעוּ־נָאshim/U-nahear I prayהַחֲלוֹםha/cha/LOMthe dreamהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחָלָמְתִּי׃cha/LAM/tiI have dreamed

   And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed:

   וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאֲנַחְנוּa/NACH/nuweמְאַלְּמִיםme/al/le/MIMbindingאֲלֻמִּיםa/lum/MIMsheavesבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdקָמָהKA/maaroseאֲלֻמָּתִיa/lum/ma/TImy sheafוְגַם־נִצָּבָהve/GAM-nits/TSA/vaand also stood uprightוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdתְסֻבֶּינָהte/sub/BE/nastood round aboutאֲלֻמֹּתֵיכֶםa/lum/mo/te/KHEMyour sheavesוַתִּשְׁתַּחֲוֶיןָvat/tish/ta/cha/VE/naand bowed downלַאֲלֻמָּתִי׃la/a/lum/ma/TIto my sheaf

   For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.

   וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidלוֹloto himאֶחָיוe/CHAYVhis brethrenהֲמָלֹךְha/ma/LOKHreignתִּמְלֹךְtim/LOKHshall you reignעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuover usאִם־מָשׁוֹלim-ma/SHOLor ruleתִּמְשֹׁלtim/SHOLshall you ruleבָּנוּBA/nuover usוַיּוֹסִפוּvay/yo/SI/fuand they addedעוֹדodyetשְׂנֹאse/NOto hateאֹתוֹo/TOhimעַל־חֲלֹמֹתָיוal-cha/lo/mo/TAYVfor his dreamsוְעַל־דְּבָרָיו׃ve/AL-de/va/RAYVand for his words

   And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

   וַיַּחֲלֹםvay/ya/cha/LOMand he dreamedעוֹדodyetחֲלוֹםcha/LOMa dreamאַחֵרa/CHERanotherוַיְסַפֵּרvay/sap/PERand he toldאֹתוֹo/TOitלְאֶחָיוle/e/CHAYVto his brethrenוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdחָלַמְתִּיcha/LAM/tiI have dreamedחֲלוֹםcha/LOMa dreamעוֹדodyetוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunוְהַיָּרֵחַve/hay/ya/RE/achand the moonוְאַחַד־עָשָׂרve/a/CHAD-a/SARand elevenכּוֹכָבִיםko/kha/VIMstarsמִשְׁתַּחֲוִיםmish/ta/cha/VIMbowed downלִי׃lito me

   And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

    וַיְסַפֵּרvay/sap/PERand he told itאֶל־אָבִיוel-a/VIVto his fatherוְאֶל־אֶחָיוve/EL-e/CHAYVand to his brethrenוַיִּגְעַר־בּוֹvay/yig/AR-boand rebuked himאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלוֹloto himמָהmawhat isהַחֲלוֹםha/cha/LOMthe dreamהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחָלָמְתָּcha/LAM/tayou have dreamedהֲבוֹאha/VOcomeנָבוֹאna/VOshall comeאֲנִיa/NIIוְאִמְּךָve/im/me/KHAand your motherוְאַחֶיךָve/a/CHE/khaand your brethrenלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺתle/hish/ta/cha/VOTto bow downלְךָle/KHAto youאָרְצָה׃AR/tsato the ground

    And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

    וַיְקַנְאוּ־בוֹvay/kan/U-voand they envied himאֶחָיוe/CHAYVhis brethrenוְאָבִיוve/a/VIVand his fatherשָׁמַרsha/MARkeptאֶת־הַדָּבָר׃et-had/da/VARthe matter

    And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

12. 12

    וַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUand they wentאֶחָיוe/CHAYVhis brethrenלִרְעוֹתlir/OTto feedאֶׄתׄ־צֹאןet-tsonthe flock ofאֲבִיהֶםa/vi/HEMtheir fatherבִּשְׁכֶם׃Bish/KHEMat Shechem

    And his brethren went to feed their father's flock in Shechem.

13. 13

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶל־יוֹסֵףel-Yo/SEFto Josephהֲלוֹאha/LOdo notאַחֶיךָa/CHE/khayour brethrenרֹעִיםro/IMfeedבִּשְׁכֶםBish/KHEMat Shechemלְכָהle/KHAcomeוְאֶשְׁלָחֲךָve/esh/la/cha/KHAand I will send youאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלוֹloto himהִנֵּנִי׃hin/NE/nihere am I

    And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

14. 14

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלוֹloto himלֶךְ־נָאlekh-nago I prayרְאֵהre/Eseeאֶת־שְׁלוֹםet-she/LOMthe welfare ofאַחֶיךָa/CHE/khayour brethrenוְאֶת־שְׁלוֹםve/ET-she/LOMand the welfare ofהַצֹּאןhats/TSONthe flockוַהֲשִׁבֵנִיva/ha/shi/VE/niand bring me backדָּבָרda/VARwordוַיִּשְׁלָחֵהוּvay/yish/la/CHE/huand he sent himמֵעֵמֶקme/E/mekout of the vale ofחֶבְרוֹןChev/RONHebronוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameשְׁכֶמָה׃She/KHE/mato Shechem

    And he said to him, Go, I pray thee, see whether it be well with thy brethren, and well with the flocks; and bring me word again. So he sent him out of the vale of Hebron, and he came to Shechem.

    וַיִּמְצָאֵהוּvay/yim/tsa/E/huand he found himאִישׁisha manוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdתֹעֶהto/Ewanderingבַּשָּׂדֶהbas/sa/DEin the fieldוַיִּשְׁאָלֵהוּvay/yish/a/LE/huand asked himהָאִישׁha/ISHthe manלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמַה־תְּבַקֵּשׁ׃ma-te/vak/KESHwhat do you seek

    And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?

16. 16

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֶת־אַחַיet-a/CHAYmy brethrenאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְבַקֵּשׁme/vak/KESHseekהַגִּידָה־נָּאhag/GI/da-natell I prayלִיlimeאֵיפֹהe/FOwhereהֵםhemtheyרֹעִים׃ro/IMfeed

    And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee, where they feed their flocks.

17. 17

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהָאִישׁha/ISHthe manנָסְעוּna/se/Uthey have departedמִזֶּהmiz/ZEfrom hereכִּיkiforשָׁמַעְתִּיsha/MA/tiI heardאֹמְרִיםom/RIMthem sayנֵלְכָהnel/KHAlet us goדֹּתָיְנָהDo/TAY/nato Dothanוַיֵּלֶךְvay/YE/lekhand wentיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephאַחַרa/CHARafterאֶחָיוe/CHAYVhis brethrenוַיִּמְצָאֵםvay/yim/tsa/EMand he found themבְּדֹתָן׃be/Do/TANat Dothan

    And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.

18. 18

    וַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawאֹתוֹo/TOhimמֵרָחֹקme/ra/CHOKafar offוּבְטֶרֶםu/ve/TE/remand beforeיִקְרַבyik/RAVhe came nearאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themוַיִּתְנַכְּלוּvay/yit/nak/ke/LUand they conspired againstאֹתוֹo/TOhimלַהֲמִיתוֹ׃la/ha/mi/TOto slay him

    And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.

19. 19

    וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאִישׁishoneאֶל־אָחִיוel-a/CHIVto his brotherהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdבַּעַלBA/almaster ofהַחֲלֹמוֹתha/cha/lo/MOTthe dreamsהַלָּזֶהhal/la/ZEthisבָּא׃bacomes

    And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.

20. 20

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowלְכוּle/KHUcomeוְנַהַרְגֵהוּve/na/har/GE/huand let us slay himוְנַשְׁלִכֵהוּve/nash/li/KHE/huand cast himבְּאַחַדbe/a/CHADinto one ofהַבֹּרוֹתhab/bo/ROTthe pitsוְאָמַרְנוּve/a/MAR/nuand we will sayחַיָּהchay/YAa beastרָעָהra/Aevilאֲכָלָתְהוּa/kha/LAT/huhas devoured himוְנִרְאֶהve/nir/Eand we shall seeמַה־יִּהְיוּma-yih/YUwhat will become ofחֲלֹמֹתָיו׃cha/lo/mo/TAYVhis dreams

    Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

21. 21

    וַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand heardרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenוַיַּצִּלֵהוּvay/yats/tsi/LE/huand delivered himמִיָּדָםmiy/ya/DAMout of their handוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלֹאlonotנַכֶּנּוּnak/KEN/nulet us smite himנָפֶשׁ׃NA/feshin life

    And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.

22. 22

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenאַל־תִּשְׁפְּכוּ־דָםal-tish/pe/KHU-damshed no bloodהַשְׁלִיכוּhash/LI/khucastאֹתוֹo/TOhimאֶל־הַבּוֹרel-hab/BORinto the pitהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessוְיָדve/YADbut a handאַל־תִּשְׁלְחוּ־בוֹal-tish/le/CHU-volay not upon himלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatהַצִּילhats/TSILhe might deliverאֹתוֹo/TOhimמִיָּדָםmiy/ya/DAMout of their handsלַהֲשִׁיבוֹla/ha/shi/VOto restore himאֶל־אָבִיו׃el-a/VIVto his father

    And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכַּאֲשֶׁר־בָּאka/a/SHER-bawhen was comeיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephאֶל־אֶחָיוel-e/CHAYVto his brethrenוַיַּפְשִׁיטוּvay/yaf/SHI/tuthat they strippedאֶת־יוֹסֵףet-Yo/SEFJosephאֶת־כֻּתׇּנְתּוֹet-kut/ton/TOhis coatאֶת־כְּתֹנֶתet-ke/TO/netthe coat ofהַפַּסִּיםhap/pas/SIMmany colorsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasעָלָיו׃a/LAYVon him

    And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;

24. 24

    וַיִּקָּחֻהוּvay/yik/ka/CHU/huand they took himוַיַּשְׁלִכוּvay/yash/LI/khuand castאֹתוֹo/TOhimהַבֹּרָהhab/BO/rainto the pitוְהַבּוֹרve/hab/BORand the pitרֵקrekwas emptyאֵיןenthere was noבּוֹboin itמָיִם׃MA/yimwater

    And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.

    וַיֵּשְׁבוּvay/yesh/VUand they sat downלֶאֱכׇל־לֶחֶםle/e/KHOL-LE/chemto eat breadוַיִּשְׂאוּvay/yis/Uand they lifted upעֵינֵיהֶםe/ne/HEMtheir eyesוַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאֹרְחַתor/CHATa company ofיִשְׁמְעֵאלִיםYish/me/e/LIMIshmaelitesבָּאָהba/Acameמִגִּלְעָדmig/Gil/ADfrom Gileadוּגְמַלֵּיהֶםu/ge/mal/le/HEMand their camelsנֹשְׂאִיםnos/IMbearingנְכֹאתne/KHOTspiceוּצְרִיu/tse/RIand balmוָלֹטva/LOTand myrrhהוֹלְכִיםhol/KHIMgoingלְהוֹרִידle/ho/RIDto carry it downמִצְרָיְמָה׃Mits/RAY/mato Egypt

    And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahאֶל־אֶחָיוel-e/CHAYVto his brethrenמַה־בֶּצַעma-BE/tsawhat profitכִּיkiifנַהֲרֹגna/ha/ROGwe slayאֶת־אָחִינוּet-a/CHI/nuour brotherוְכִסִּינוּve/khis/SI/nuand concealאֶת־דָּמוֹ׃et-da/MOhis blood

    And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?

27. 27

    לְכוּle/KHUcomeוְנִמְכְּרֶנּוּve/nim/ke/REN/nuand let us sell himלַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִיםlay/Yish/me/e/LIMto the Ishmaelitesוְיָדֵנוּve/ya/DE/nuand our handאַל־תְּהִי־בוֹal-te/HI-volet not be upon himכִּי־אָחִינוּki-a/CHI/nufor our brotherבְשָׂרֵנוּve/sa/RE/nuour fleshהוּאhuis heוַיִּשְׁמְעוּvay/yish/me/Uand hearkenedאֶחָיו׃e/CHAYVhis brethren

    Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.

28. 28

    וַיַּעַבְרוּvay/ya/av/RUand passed byאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenמִדְיָנִיםMid/ya/NIMMidianitesסֹחֲרִיםso/cha/RIMmerchantmenוַיִּמְשְׁכוּvay/yim/she/KHUand they drewוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand lifted upאֶת־יוֹסֵףet-Yo/SEFJosephמִן־הַבּוֹרmin-hab/BORfrom the pitוַיִּמְכְּרוּvay/yim/ke/RUand they soldאֶת־יוֹסֵףet-Yo/SEFJosephלַיִּשְׁמְעֵאלִיםlay/Yish/me/e/LIMto the Ishmaelitesבְּעֶשְׂרִיםbe/es/RIMfor twentyכָּסֶףKA/sefsilverוַיָּבִיאוּvay/ya/VI/uand broughtאֶת־יוֹסֵףet-Yo/SEFJosephמִצְרָיְמָה׃Mits/RAY/mato Egypt

    Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

    וַיָּשׇׁבvay/YA/shovand returnedרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenאֶל־הַבּוֹרel-hab/BORto the pitוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאֵין־יוֹסֵףEn-yo/SEFJoseph was notבַּבּוֹרbab/BORin the pitוַיִּקְרַעvay/yik/RAand he rentאֶת־בְּגָדָיו׃et-be/ga/DAYVhis clothes

    And Reuben returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes.

30. 30

    וַיָּשׇׁבvay/YA/shovand returnedאֶל־אֶחָיוel-e/CHAYVto his brethrenוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidהַיֶּלֶדhay/YE/ledthe childאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand IאָנָהA/nawhitherאֲנִי־בָא׃a/NI-vashall I go

    And he returned unto his brethren, and said, The child is not; and I, whither shall I go?

31. 31

    וַיִּקְחוּvay/yik/CHUand they tookאֶת־כְּתֹנֶתet-ke/TO/netthe coat ofיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephוַיִּשְׁחֲטוּvay/yish/cha/TUand they killedשְׂעִירse/IRa kid ofעִזִּיםiz/ZIMthe goatsוַיִּטְבְּלוּvay/yit/be/LUand dippedאֶת־הַכֻּתֹּנֶתet-hak/kut/TO/netthe coatבַּדָּם׃bad/DAMin the blood

    And they took Joseph's coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;

32. 32

    וַיְשַׁלְּחוּvay/shal/le/CHUand they sentאֶת־כְּתֹנֶתet-ke/TO/netthe coat ofהַפַּסִּיםhap/pas/SIMmany colorsוַיָּבִיאוּvay/ya/VI/uand they brought itאֶל־אֲבִיהֶםel-a/vi/HEMto their fatherוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidזֹאתzotthisמָצָאנוּma/TSA/nuwe have foundהַכֶּר־נָאhak/KER-naknow nowהַכְּתֹנֶתhak/ke/TO/netwhether the coat ofבִּנְךָbin/KHAyour sonהִואhivit isאִם־לֹא׃im-loor not

    And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no.

33. 33

    וַיַּכִּירָהּvay/yak/ki/RAand he knew itוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidכְּתֹנֶתke/TO/netthe coat ofבְּנִיbe/NImy sonחַיָּהchay/YAa beastרָעָהra/Aevilאֲכָלָתְהוּa/kha/LAT/huhas devoured himטָרֹףta/ROFtornטֹרַףto/RAFis torn in piecesיוֹסֵף׃Yo/SEFJoseph

    And he knew it, and said, It is my son's coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.

    וַיִּקְרַעvay/yik/RAand rentיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobשִׂמְלֹתָיוsim/lo/TAYVhis garmentsוַיָּשֶׂםvay/YA/semand putשַׂקsaksackclothבְּמׇתְנָיוbe/mot/NAYVupon his loinsוַיִּתְאַבֵּלvay/yit/ab/BELand he mournedעַל־בְּנוֹal-be/NOfor his sonיָמִיםya/MIMdaysרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

    And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.

35. 35

    וַיָּקֻמוּvay/ya/KU/muand rose upכׇל־בָּנָיוkhol-ba/NAYVall his sonsוְכׇל־בְּנֹתָיוve/KHOL-be/no/TAYVand all his daughtersלְנַחֲמוֹle/na/cha/MOto comfort himוַיְמָאֵןvay/ma/ENand he refusedלְהִתְנַחֵםle/hit/na/CHEMto be comfortedוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidכִּי־אֵרֵדki-e/REDfor I will go downאֶל־בְּנִיel-be/NIto my sonאָבֵלa/VELmourningשְׁאֹלָהShe/O/lato Sheolוַיֵּבְךְּvay/YEVKand he weptאֹתוֹo/TOfor himאָבִיו׃a/VIVhis father

    And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him.

    וְהַמְּדָנִיםve/ham/Me/da/NIMand the Medanitesמָכְרוּma/khe/RUsoldאֹתוֹo/TOhimאֶל־מִצְרָיִםel-Mits/RA/yimto Egyptלְפוֹטִיפַרle/Fo/ti/FARto Potipharסְרִיסse/RISan officer ofפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohשַׂרsarcaptain ofהַטַּבָּחִים׃hat/tab/ba/CHIMthe guard

    And the Midianites sold him into Egypt unto Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh's, and captain of the guard.
