   And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

   הַחֹדֶשׁha/CHO/deshthe monthהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלָכֶםla/KHEMto youרֹאשׁroshthe beginning ofחֳדָשִׁיםcho/da/SHIMmonthsרִאשׁוֹןri/SHONthe firstהוּאhuit shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלְחׇדְשֵׁיle/chod/SHEof the months ofהַשָּׁנָה׃hash/sha/NAthe year

   This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

   דַּבְּרוּdab/be/RUspeakאֶל־כׇּל־עֲדַתel-kol-a/DATto all the congregation ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingבֶּעָשֹׂרbe/a/SORon the tenthלַחֹדֶשׁla/CHO/deshof the monthהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְיִקְחוּve/yik/CHUthey shall takeלָהֶםla/HEMto themאִישׁishevery manשֶׂהsea lambלְבֵית־אָבֹתle/VET-a/VOTaccording to the house of their fathersשֶׂהsea lambלַבָּיִת׃lab/BA/yitfor a house

   Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

   וְאִם־יִמְעַטve/IM-yim/ATand if be too littleהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe householdמִהְיוֹתmih/YOTforמִשֶּׂהmis/SEa lambוְלָקַחve/la/KACHlet take itהוּאhuheוּשְׁכֵנוֹu/she/khe/NOand his neighborהַקָּרֹבhak/ka/ROVnextאֶל־בֵּיתוֹel-be/TOto his houseבְּמִכְסַתbe/mikh/SATaccording to the number ofנְפָשֹׁתne/fa/SHOTthe soulsאִישׁishevery manלְפִיle/FIaccording toאׇכְלוֹokh/LOhis eatingתָּכֹסּוּta/KHOS/suyou shall make your countעַל־הַשֶּׂה׃al-has/SEfor the lamb

   And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

   שֶׂהsea lambתָמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishזָכָרza/KHARa maleבֶּן־שָׁנָהben-sha/NAof the first yearיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourמִן־הַכְּבָשִׂיםmin-hak/ke/va/SIMfrom the sheepוּמִן־הָעִזִּיםu/MIN-ha/iz/ZIMor from the goatsתִּקָּחוּ׃tik/KA/chuyou shall take it

   Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלְמִשְׁמֶרֶתle/mish/ME/retfor keepingעַדaduntilאַרְבָּעָה־עָשָׂרar/ba/A-a/SARthe fourteenthיוֹםyomdayלַחֹדֶשׁla/CHO/deshof the monthהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְשָׁחֲטוּve/sha/cha/TUand shall killאֹתוֹo/TOitכֹּלkolthe wholeקְהַלke/HALthe assembly ofעֲדַת־יִשְׂרָאֵלa/DAT-Yis/ra/ELthe congregation of Israelבֵּיןbenbetweenהָעַרְבָּיִם׃ha/ar/BA/yimthe two evenings

   And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

   וְלָקְחוּve/la/ke/CHUand they shall takeמִן־הַדָּםmin-had/DAMof the bloodוְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand put itעַל־שְׁתֵּיal-shteon the twoהַמְּזוּזֹתham/me/zu/ZOTthe doorpostsוְעַל־הַמַּשְׁקוֹףve/AL-ham/mash/KOFand on the lintelעַלalofהַבָּתִּיםhab/bat/TIMthe housesאֲשֶׁר־יֹאכְלוּa/SHER-yo/khe/LUwherein they shall eatאֹתוֹo/TOitבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMin them

   And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

   וְאָכְלוּve/a/khe/LUand they shall eatאֶת־הַבָּשָׂרet-hab/ba/SARthe fleshבַּלַּיְלָהbal/LAY/lain the nightהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisצְלִי־אֵשׁtse/LI-eshroasted with fireוּמַצּוֹתu/mats/TSOTand unleavened breadעַל־מְרֹרִיםal-me/ro/RIMwith bitter herbsיֹאכְלֻהוּ׃yo/khe/LU/huthey shall eat it

   And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

   אַל־תֹּאכְלוּal-to/khe/LUeat notמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itנָאnarawוּבָשֵׁלu/va/SHELnor boiledמְבֻשָּׁלme/vush/SHALboiledבַּמָּיִםbam/MA/yimin waterכִּיkibutאִם־צְלִי־אֵשׁim-tse/LI-eshroasted with fireרֹאשׁוֹro/SHOits headעַל־כְּרָעָיוal-ke/ra/AYVwith its legsוְעַל־קִרְבּוֹ׃ve/AL-kir/BOand with its inwards

   Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.

    וְלֹא־תוֹתִירוּve/LO-to/TI/ruand you shall let nothing remainמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itעַד־בֹּקֶרad-BO/keruntil the morningוְהַנֹּתָרve/han/no/TARand that which remainsמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itעַד־בֹּקֶרad-BO/keruntil the morningבָּאֵשׁba/ESHwith fireתִּשְׂרֹפוּ׃tis/RO/fuyou shall burn

    And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

    וְכָכָהve/KHA/khaand thusתֹּאכְלוּto/khe/LUshall you eatאֹתוֹo/TOitמׇתְנֵיכֶםmot/ne/KHEMyour loinsחֲגֻרִיםcha/gu/RIMgirdedנַעֲלֵיכֶםna/a/le/KHEMyour shoesבְּרַגְלֵיכֶםbe/rag/le/KHEMon your feetוּמַקֶּלְכֶםu/mak/kel/KHEMand your staffבְּיֶדְכֶםbe/yed/KHEMin your handוַאֲכַלְתֶּםva/a/khal/TEMand you shall eatאֹתוֹo/TOitבְּחִפָּזוֹןbe/chip/pa/ZONin hasteפֶּסַחPE/sachthe passoverהוּאhuit isלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover.

    וְעָבַרְתִּיve/a/var/TIfor I will pass throughבְאֶרֶץ־מִצְרַיִםve/E/rets-mits/RA/yimin the land of Egyptבַּלַּיְלָהbal/LAY/lain the nightהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְהִכֵּיתִיve/hik/ke/TIand will smiteכׇל־בְּכוֹרkhol-be/KHORall the firstbornבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptמֵאָדָםme/a/DAMfrom manוְעַד־בְּהֵמָהve/AD-be/he/MAand unto beastוּבְכׇל־אֱלֹהֵיu/ve/KHOL-e/lo/HEand against all the gods ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptאֶעֱשֶׂהe/e/SEI will executeשְׁפָטִיםshe/fa/TIMjudgmentsאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand shall beהַדָּםhad/DAMthe bloodלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלְאֹתle/OTfor a signעַלaluponהַבָּתִּיםhab/bat/TIMthe housesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areשָׁםshamthereוְרָאִיתִיve/ra/I/tiand when I seeאֶת־הַדָּםet-had/DAMthe bloodוּפָסַחְתִּיu/fa/sach/TII will pass overעֲלֵכֶםa/le/KHEMyouוְלֹא־יִהְיֶהve/LO-yih/YEand shall not beבָכֶםva/KHEMupon youנֶגֶףNE/gefthe plagueלְמַשְׁחִיתle/mash/CHITto destroyבְּהַכֹּתִיbe/hak/ko/TIwhen I smiteבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand shall beהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלְזִכָּרוֹןle/zik/ka/RONfor a memorialוְחַגֹּתֶםve/chag/go/TEMand you shall keepאֹתוֹo/TOitחַגchaga feastלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶםle/do/ro/te/KHEMfor your generationsחֻקַּתchuk/KATan ordinanceעוֹלָםo/LAMfor everתְּחׇגֻּהוּ׃te/chog/gu/HUyou shall keep it a feast

    And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

    שִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִיםya/MIMdaysמַצּוֹתmats/TSOTunleavened breadתֹּאכֵלוּto/KHE/lushall you eatאַךְakhevenבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstתַּשְׁבִּיתוּtash/BI/tuyou shall put awayשְּׂאֹרse/ORleavenמִבָּתֵּיכֶםmib/bat/te/KHEMout of your housesכִּיkiforכׇּל־אֹכֵלkol-o/KHELwhoever eatsחָמֵץcha/METSleavened breadוְנִכְרְתָהve/nikh/re/TAshall be cut offהַנֶּפֶשׁhan/NE/feshthe soulהַהִואha/HIVthatמִיִּשְׂרָאֵלmiy/Yis/ra/ELfrom Israelמִיּוֹםmiy/YOMfrom the dayהָרִאשֹׁןha/ri/SHONthe firstעַד־יוֹםad-yomuntil the day ofהַשְּׁבִעִי׃hash/she/vi/Ithe seventh

    Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

    וּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand on the dayהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstמִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁmik/RA-KO/desha holy convocationוּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand on the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Ithe seventhמִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁmik/RA-KO/desha holy convocationיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beלָכֶםla/KHEMby youכׇּל־מְלָאכָהkol-me/la/KHAno manner of workלֹא־יֵעָשֶׂהlo-ye/a/SEshall be doneבָהֶםva/HEMin themאַךְakhsaveאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichיֵאָכֵלye/a/KHELis eatenלְכׇל־נֶפֶשׁle/KHOL-NE/feshby every soulהוּאhuthatלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOonlyיֵעָשֶׂהye/a/SEmay be doneלָכֶם׃la/KHEMby you

    And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

    וּשְׁמַרְתֶּםu/she/mar/TEMand you shall keepאֶת־הַמַּצּוֹתet-ham/mats/TSOTthe unleavened breadכִּיkiforבְּעֶצֶםbe/E/tsemin the selfsameהַיּוֹםhay/YOMdayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisהוֹצֵאתִיho/TSE/tihave I brought outאֶת־צִבְאוֹתֵיכֶםet-tsiv/o/te/KHEMyour armiesמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptוּשְׁמַרְתֶּםu/she/mar/TEMand you shall keepאֶת־הַיּוֹםet-hay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶםle/do/ro/te/KHEMfor your generationsחֻקַּתchuk/KATan ordinanceעוֹלָם׃o/LAMfor ever

    And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

    בָּרִאשֹׁןba/ri/SHONin the firstבְּאַרְבָּעָה־עָשָׂרbe/ar/ba/A-a/SARon the fourteenthיוֹםyomdayלַחֹדֶשׁla/CHO/deshof the monthבָּעֶרֶבba/E/revin the eveningתֹּאכְלוּto/khe/LUyou shall eatמַצֹּתmats/TSOTunleavened breadעַדaduntilיוֹםyomdayהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADthe oneוְעֶשְׂרִיםve/es/RIMand twentiethלַחֹדֶשׁla/CHO/deshof the monthבָּעָרֶב׃ba/A/revin the evening

    In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

19. 19

    שִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִיםya/MIMdaysשְׂאֹרse/ORleavenלֹאlonotיִמָּצֵאyim/ma/TSEshall be foundבְּבָתֵּיכֶםbe/vat/te/KHEMin your housesכִּיkiforכׇּל־אֹכֵלkol-o/KHELwhoever eatsמַחְמֶצֶתmach/ME/tsetthat which is leavenedוְנִכְרְתָהve/nikh/re/TAshall be cut offהַנֶּפֶשׁhan/NE/feshthe soulהַהִואha/HIVthatמֵעֲדַתme/a/DATfrom the congregation ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבַּגֵּרbag/GERwhether a strangerוּבְאֶזְרַחu/ve/ez/RACHor born inהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe land

    Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

    כׇּל־מַחְמֶצֶתkol-mach/ME/tsetnothing leavenedלֹאlonoתֹאכֵלוּto/KHE/lushall you eatבְּכֹלbe/KHOLin allמוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶםmosh/vo/te/KHEMyour dwellingsתֹּאכְלוּto/khe/LUshall you eatמַצּוֹת׃mats/TSOTunleavened bread

    Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

21. 21

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלְכׇל־זִקְנֵיle/KHOL-zik/NEfor all the elders ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themמִשְׁכוּmish/KHUdraw outוּקְחוּu/ke/CHUand takeלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesצֹאןtsona lambלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיכֶםle/mish/pe/cho/te/KHEMaccording to your familiesוְשַׁחֲטוּve/sha/cha/TUand killהַפָּסַח׃hap/PA/sachthe passover

    Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

    וּלְקַחְתֶּםu/le/kach/TEMand you shall takeאֲגֻדַּתa/gud/DATa bunch ofאֵזוֹבe/ZOVhyssopוּטְבַלְתֶּםu/te/val/TEMand dip itבַּדָּםbad/DAMin the bloodאֲשֶׁר־בַּסַּףa/SHER-bas/SAFthat is in the basinוְהִגַּעְתֶּםve/hig/ga/TEMand strikeאֶל־הַמַּשְׁקוֹףel-ham/mash/KOFthe lintelוְאֶל־שְׁתֵּיve/EL-shteand the twoהַמְּזוּזֹתham/me/zu/ZOTdoorpostsמִן־הַדָּםmin-had/DAMwith the bloodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבַּסָּףbas/SAFin the basinוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youלֹאloshall notתֵצְאוּtets/Ugo outאִישׁishany manמִפֶּתַח־בֵּיתוֹmip/PE/tach-be/TOat the door of his houseעַד־בֹּקֶר׃ad-BO/keruntil the morning

    And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

    וְעָבַרve/a/VARfor will pass throughיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלִנְגֹּףlin/GOFto smiteאֶת־מִצְרַיִםet-Mits/RA/yimEgyptוְרָאָהve/ra/Aand when He seesאֶת־הַדָּםet-had/DAMthe bloodעַל־הַמַּשְׁקוֹףal-ham/mash/KOFupon the lintelוְעַלve/ALand uponשְׁתֵּיshtethe twoהַמְּזוּזֹתham/me/zu/ZOTthe doorpostsוּפָסַחu/fa/SACHwill pass overיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעַל־הַפֶּתַחal-hap/PE/tachthe doorוְלֹאve/LOand notיִתֵּןyit/TENwill sufferהַמַּשְׁחִיתham/mash/CHITthe destroyerלָבֹאla/VOto come inאֶל־בָּתֵּיכֶםel-bat/te/KHEMto your housesלִנְגֹּף׃lin/GOFto smite

    For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

24. 24

    וּשְׁמַרְתֶּםu/she/mar/TEMand you shall observeאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe thingהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְחׇק־לְךָle/CHOK-le/KHAfor an ordinance to youוּלְבָנֶיךָu/le/va/NE/khaand to your sonsעַד־עוֹלָם׃ad-o/LAMfor ever

    And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

25. 25

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passכִּי־תָבֹאוּki-ta/VO/uwhen you comeאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsto the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִתֵּןyit/TENwill giveיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֵּרdib/BERHe has promisedוּשְׁמַרְתֶּםu/she/mar/TEMthat you shall keepאֶת־הָעֲבֹדָהet-ha/a/vo/DAthe serviceהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

    And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

26. 26

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passכִּי־יֹאמְרוּki-yo/me/RUwhen shall sayאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youבְּנֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMyour childrenמָהmawhat isהָעֲבֹדָהha/a/vo/DAthe serviceהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

    And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

27. 27

    וַאֲמַרְתֶּםva/a/mar/TEMand you shall sayזֶבַח־פֶּסַחZE/vach-PE/sachthe sacrifice of the passoverהוּאhuit isלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoפָּסַחpa/SACHpassed overעַל־בָּתֵּיal-bat/TEthe houses ofבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelבְּמִצְרַיִםbe/Mits/RA/yimin Egyptבְּנׇגְפּוֹbe/nog/POwhen He smoteאֶת־מִצְרַיִםet-Mits/RA/yimthe Egyptiansוְאֶת־בָּתֵּינוּve/ET-bat/TE/nuand our housesהִצִּילhits/TSILdeliveredוַיִּקֹּדvay/yik/KODand bowed the headהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ׃vay/yish/ta/cha/VUand they worshiped

    That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

28. 28

    וַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUand they wentוַיַּעֲשׂוּvay/ya/a/SUand did itבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהet-Mo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronכֵּןkensoעָשׂוּ׃a/SUthey did

    And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבַּחֲצִיba/cha/TSIat the half ofהַלַּיְלָהhal/LAY/lathe nightוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDהִכָּהhik/KAsmoteכׇל־בְּכוֹרkhol-be/KHORall the firstborn ofבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptמִבְּכֹרmib/be/KHORfrom the firstborn ofפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohהַיֹּשֵׁבhay/yo/SHEVwho satעַל־כִּסְאוֹal-kis/Oupon his throneעַדadtoבְּכוֹרbe/KHORthe firstborn ofהַשְּׁבִיhash/she/VIthe captiveאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho wasבְּבֵיתbe/VETin the house ofהַבּוֹרhab/BORthe dungeonוְכֹלve/KHOLand allבְּכוֹרbe/KHORthe firstborn ofבְּהֵמָה׃be/he/MAbeast

    And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

30. 30

    וַיָּקׇםvay/YA/komand rose upפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohלַיְלָהLAY/lain the nightהוּאhuheוְכׇל־עֲבָדָיוve/KHOL-a/va/DAYVand all his servantsוְכׇל־מִצְרַיִםve/KHOL-mits/RA/yimand all Egyptוַתְּהִיvat/te/HIand there wasצְעָקָהtse/a/KAa cryגְדֹלָהge/do/LAgreatבְּמִצְרָיִםbe/Mits/RA/yimin Egyptכִּי־אֵיןki-enfor there was notבַּיִתBA/yita houseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereאֵין־שָׁםen-shamthere was notמֵת׃metone dead

    And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

31. 31

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledלְמֹשֶׁהle/Mo/SHEfor Mosesוּלְאַהֲרֹןu/Le/a/ha/RONand for AaronלַיְלָהLAY/laby nightוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidקוּמוּKU/murise upצְּאוּtse/Uget you forthמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom amongעַמִּיam/MImy peopleגַּם־אַתֶּםgam-at/TEMboth youגַּם־בְּנֵיgam-be/NEand the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוּלְכוּu/le/KHUand goעִבְדוּiv/DUserveאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDכְּדַבֶּרְכֶם׃ke/dab/ber/KHEMas you have said

    And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

32. 32

    גַּם־צֹאנְכֶםgam-tso/ne/KHEMalso your flocksגַּם־בְּקַרְכֶםgam-be/kar/KHEMand your herdsקְחוּke/CHUtakeכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבַּרְתֶּםdib/bar/TEMyou have saidוָלֵכוּva/LE/khuand be goneוּבֵרַכְתֶּםu/ve/rakh/TEMand blessגַּם־אֹתִי׃gam-o/TIme also

    Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

33. 33

    וַתֶּחֱזַקvat/te/che/ZAKand were urgentמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimthe Egyptiansעַל־הָעָםal-ha/AMupon the peopleלְמַהֵרle/ma/HERhasteningלְשַׁלְּחָםle/shal/le/CHAMto send them awayמִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsout of the landכִּיkiforאָמְרוּa/me/RUthey saidכֻּלָּנוּkul/LA/nuwe allמֵתִים׃me/TIMare dead men

    And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

34. 34

    וַיִּשָּׂאvay/yis/SAand tookהָעָםha/AMthe peopleאֶת־בְּצֵקֹet-be/tse/KOtheir doughטֶרֶםTE/rembeforeיֶחְמָץyech/MATSit was leavenedמִשְׁאֲרֹתָםmish/a/ro/TAMtheir kneading troughsצְרֻרֹתtse/ru/ROTbeing bound upבְּשִׂמְלֹתָםbe/sim/lo/TAMin their clothesעַל־שִׁכְמָם׃al-shikh/MAMupon their shoulders

    And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

35. 35

    וּבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלu/ve/NE-yis/ra/ELand the children of Israelעָשׂוּa/SUdidכִּדְבַרkid/VARaccording to the word ofמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוַיִּשְׁאֲלוּvay/yish/a/LUand they askedמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimof the Egyptiansכְּלֵי־כֶסֶףke/LE-KHE/sefarticles of silverוּכְלֵיu/khe/LEand articles ofזָהָבza/HAVgoldוּשְׂמָלֹת׃u/se/ma/LOTand raiment

    And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

36. 36

    וַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDנָתַןna/TANgaveאֶת־חֵןet-chenthe favor ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleבְּעֵינֵיbe/e/NEin the eyes ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimthe Egyptiansוַיַּשְׁאִלוּםvay/yash/i/LUMand they granted themוַיְנַצְּלוּvay/nats/tse/LUand they spoiledאֶת־מִצְרָיִם׃et-Mits/RA/yimthe Egyptians

    And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

37. 37

    וַיִּסְעוּvay/yis/Uand journeyedבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelמֵרַעְמְסֵסme/Ra/me/SESfrom RamesesסֻכֹּתָהSuk/KO/tato Succothכְּשֵׁשׁ־מֵאוֹתke/SHESH-me/OTabout six hundredאֶלֶףE/lefthousandרַגְלִיrag/LIon footהַגְּבָרִיםhag/ge/va/RIMmenלְבַדle/VADbesidesמִטָּף׃mit/TAFlittle ones

    And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

38. 38

    וְגַם־עֵרֶבve/GAM-E/revand a mixedרַבravmultitudeעָלָהa/LAwent up alsoאִתָּםit/TAMwith themוְצֹאןve/TSONand flocksוּבָקָרu/va/KARand herdsמִקְנֶהmik/NElivestockכָּבֵדka/VEDgreatמְאֹד׃me/ODexceedingly

    And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

39. 39

    וַיֹּאפוּvay/yo/FUand they bakedאֶת־הַבָּצֵקet-hab/ba/TSEKthe doughאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוֹצִיאוּho/TSI/uthey brought forthמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptעֻגֹתu/GOTcakes ofמַצּוֹתmats/TSOTunleavened breadכִּיkiforלֹאlonotחָמֵץcha/METSwas it leavenedכִּי־גֹרְשׁוּki-gor/SHUbecause they were thrust outמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptוְלֹאve/LOand notיָכְלוּya/khe/LUcould theyלְהִתְמַהְמֵהַּle/hit/mah/ME/ahtarryוְגַם־צֵדָהve/GAM-tse/DAand also provisionלֹא־עָשׂוּlo-a/SUthey had not madeלָהֶם׃la/HEMfor themselves

    And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

40. 40

    וּמוֹשַׁבu/mo/SHAVnow the sojourning ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיָשְׁבוּya/she/VUdweltבְּמִצְרָיִםbe/Mits/RA/yimin Egyptשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsוְאַרְבַּעve/ar/BAand fourמֵאוֹתme/OThundredשָׁנָה׃sha/NAyears

    Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

41. 41

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passמִקֵּץmik/KETSat the end ofשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsוְאַרְבַּעve/ar/BAand fourמֵאוֹתme/OThundredשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsוַיְהִיvay/HIeven it came to passבְּעֶצֶםbe/E/tsemin the selfsameהַיּוֹםhay/YOMdayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיָצְאוּya/tse/Uwent outכׇּל־צִבְאוֹתkol-tsiv/OTall the hosts ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

42. 42

    לֵילlela night ofשִׁמֻּרִיםshim/mu/RIMwatchingהוּאhuit isלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDלְהוֹצִיאָםle/ho/tsi/AMfor bringing them outמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptהוּא־הַלַּיְלָהhu-hal/LAY/lathat is the nightהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaiof the LORDשִׁמֻּרִיםshim/mu/RIMa watchingלְכׇל־בְּנֵיle/KHOL-be/NEfor all the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלְדֹרֹתָם׃le/do/ro/TAMin their generations

    It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

43. 43

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand to Aaronזֹאתzotthisחֻקַּתchuk/KATthe ordinance ofהַפָּסַחhap/PA/sachthe passoverכׇּל־בֶּן־נֵכָרkol-ben-ne/KHARany foreignerלֹא־יֹאכַלlo-YO/khalshall not eatבּוֹ׃boof it

    And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

44. 44

    וְכׇל־עֶבֶדve/KHOL-E/vedbut every servant ofאִישׁisha manמִקְנַת־כָּסֶףmik/NAT-KA/sefbought with moneyוּמַלְתָּהu/mal/TAwhen you have circumcisedאֹתוֹo/TOhimאָזazthenיֹאכַלyo/KHALshall he eatבּוֹ׃boof it

    But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

45. 45

    תּוֹשָׁבto/SHAVa sojournerוְשָׂכִירve/sa/KHIRand a hired servantלֹא־יֹאכַלlo-YO/khalshall not eatבּוֹ׃boof it

    A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.

46. 46

    בְּבַיִתbe/VA/yitin a houseאֶחָדe/CHADoneיֵאָכֵלye/a/KHELshall it be eatenלֹא־תוֹצִיאlo-to/TSIyou shall not carry forthמִן־הַבַּיִתmin-hab/BA/yitout of the houseמִן־הַבָּשָׂרmin-hab/ba/SARany of the fleshחוּצָהCHU/tsaabroadוְעֶצֶםve/E/tsemand a boneלֹאlonotתִשְׁבְּרוּ־בוֹ׃tish/be/RU-voshall you break of it

    In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

47. 47

    כׇּל־עֲדַתkol-a/DATall the congregation ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelיַעֲשׂוּya/a/SUshall keepאֹתוֹ׃o/TOit

    All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

48. 48

    וְכִי־יָגוּרve/KHI-ya/GURand when shall sojournאִתְּךָit/te/KHAwith youגֵּרgera strangerוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand will keepפֶסַחFE/sachthe passoverלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDהִמּוֹלhim/MOLlet be circumcisedלוֹlohisכׇל־זָכָרkhol-za/KHARall malesוְאָזve/AZand thenיִקְרַבyik/RAVlet him come nearלַעֲשֹׂתוֹla/a/so/TOand keep itוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand he shall beכְּאֶזְרַחke/ez/RACHas one born inהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landוְכׇל־עָרֵלve/KHOL-a/RELand any uncircumcisedלֹא־יֹאכַלlo-YO/khalshall not eatבּוֹ׃boof it

    And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

49. 49

    תּוֹרָהto/RAlawאַחַתa/CHAToneיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beלָאֶזְרָחla/ez/RACHto him that is nativeוְלַגֵּרve/lag/GERand to the strangerהַגָּרhag/GARwho sojournsבְּתוֹכְכֶם׃be/tokh/KHEMamong you

    One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

50. 50

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּvay/ya/a/SUthus didכׇּל־בְּנֵיkol-be/NEall the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהet-Mo/SHEMosesוְאֶת־אַהֲרֹןve/ET-a/ha/RONand Aaronכֵּןkensoעָשׂוּ׃a/SUthey did

    Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

51. 51

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְּעֶצֶםbe/E/tsemin this selfsameהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisהוֹצִיאho/TSIdid bring outיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptעַל־צִבְאֹתָם׃al-tsiv/o/TAMby their armies

    And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
