1. 1

   וְעַלnow-concerningהַדְּבָרִיםthe-thingsאֲשֶׁרwhereofכְּתַבְתֶּםyou-wroteאֵלַיunto-meלֵאמֹרsayingטוֹבit-is-goodלָאָדָםfor-a-manלְבִלְתִּיnotנְגֹעַto-touchבְּאִשָּׁה׃a-woman

   Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me, saying, It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

2. 2

   אַךְneverthelessאֹמֵרsayאֲנִיIמִפְּנֵיto-avoidהַזְּנוּתfornicationתְּהִיlet-haveלְכׇל־אִישׁevery-manאִשְׁתּוֹhis-own-wifeוִיהִיand-let-haveלְכׇל־אִשָּׁהevery-womanבַּעְלָהּ׃her-own-husband

   Nevertheless, I say, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

   אַל־תִּפָּרְדוּdepart-you-notזֶהoneמִזֶּהfrom-the-otherכִּיexceptאִםit-beמִדַּעַתwith-consent-ofשְׁנֵיכֶםbothלְפִיforשָׁעָהa-timeלַעֲמוֹדthat-you-may-give-yourselvesבְּתַעֲנִיתto-fastingוּבִתְפִלָּהand-prayerוְתָשׁוּבוּand-comeוְתִתְחַבְּרוּtogether-againפֶּן־יְנַסֶּהthat-tempt-notאֶתְכֶםyouהַשָּׂטָןSatanבְּאֵיןforלָכֶםyourמַעְצוֹר׃incontinency

   Depart ye not one from the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

   אֶחְשֹׁבI-supposeאֵפוֹאthereforeכִּי־טוֹבthat-is-goodזֶהthisמִפְּנֵיforהַצָּרָהthe-distressהַקְּרוֹבָהpresentלָאָדָםfor-a-manלַעֲמֹדto-remainכֵּןsoלְמַעַןthatיַעֲשֶׂהhe-may-doטוֹבgoodגָּדוֹלgreaterיוֹתֵר׃more

   I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, for a man so to remain that he may do greater good.

5. 38

   לָכֵןso-thenהַמִּתְחַתֵּןhe-that-giveth-himself-in-marriageעֹשֶׂהdoethטוֹבwellוַאֲשֶׁרbut-he-thatאֵינֶנּוּnotמִתְחַתֵּןgiveth-himself-in-marriageעֹשֶׂהdoethטוֹבbetterמִמֶּנּוּ׃than-he

   So then he that giveth himself in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth himself not in marriage doeth better.
