   My servant, Orson Hyde, was called by his ordination to proclaim the everlasting gospel, by the Spirit of the living God, from people to people, and from land to land, in the congregations of the wicked, in their synagogues, reasoning with and expounding all scriptures unto them.

   וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdוְהֵןve/HENand loזֶהzethis isמוֹפֵתmo/FETan ensampleלְכׇלle/KHOLunto allאֵלֶּהEL/lethoseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoנִסְמְכוּnis/me/KHUwere ordainedלַכְּהֻנָּהlak/ke/hun/NAunto the priesthoodהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseמִשְׁלַחְתָּםmish/lach/TAMmissionמֻנָּהmun/NAis appointedלָהֶםla/HEMunto themלָצֵאת׃la/TSETto go forth

   And, behold, and lo, this is an ensample unto all those who were ordained unto this priesthood, whose mission is appointed unto them to go forth—

   וְזֶהve/ZEand this isהַמּוֹפֵתham/mo/FETthe ensampleלָהֶםla/HEMunto themכִּיkithatיְדַבְּרוּye/dab/be/RUthey shall speakכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיִנָּשְׂאוּyin/na/se/Uthey are moved uponבְּיַדbe/YADbyרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃RU/ach-Hak/ko/DESHthe Holy Ghost

   And this is the ensample unto them, that they shall speak as they are moved upon by the Holy Ghost.

   And whatsoever they shall speak when moved upon by the Holy Ghost shall be scripture, shall be the will of the Lord, shall be the mind of the Lord, shall be the word of the Lord, shall be the voice of the Lord, and the power of God unto salvation.

   Behold, this is the promise of the Lord unto you, O ye my servants.

   Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come.

   This is the word of the Lord unto you, my servant Orson Hyde, and also unto my servant Luke Johnson, and unto my servant Lyman Johnson, and unto my servant William E. McLellin, and unto all the faithful elders of my church—

   לְכוּle/KHUgoלְכׇל־הָעוֹלָםle/KHOL-ha/o/LAMinto all the worldקִרְאוּkir/Upreachהַבְּשׂוֹרָהhab/be/so/RAthe gospelלְכׇל־בְּרִיָּהle/KHOL-be/riy/YAto every creatureבְּפׇעׇלְכֶםbe/fo/ol/KHEMactingבַּסַּמְכוּתbas/sam/KHUTin the authorityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמַטְבִּילִיםmat/bi/LIMbaptizingבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the nameהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherוְהַבֵּןve/hab/BENand the Sonוְרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃ve/RU/ach-hak/ko/DESHand the Holy Ghost

   Go ye into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature, acting in the authority which I have given you, baptizing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

   וְהַמַּאֲמִיןve/ham/ma/a/MINand he that believesוְהַנִּטְבָּלve/han/nit/BALand is baptizedיִוָּשַׁעyiv/va/SHAshall be savedוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he whoאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nunotמַאֲמִיןma/a/MINbelievesיֶאְשַׁם׃ye/SHAMshall be damned

   And he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and he that believeth not shall be damned.

    וְהַמַּאֲמִיןve/ham/ma/a/MINand he that believesיְבֹרַךְye/VO/rakhshall be blestבְּאוֹתוֹתbe/o/TOTwith signsהוֹלְכִיםhol/KHIMfollowingאַחֲרָיוa/cha/RAYVafter himכַּכָּתוּב׃kak/ka/TUVeven as it is written

    And he that believeth shall be blest with signs following, even as it is written.

11. 11

    וְלָכֶםve/la/KHEMand unto youיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENit shall be givenלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowאוֹתוֹתo/TOTthe signsהָעִתִּיםha/it/TIMof the timesוְאוֹתוֹתve/o/TOTand the signsבּוֹאboof the comingבֶּןBenof the Sonהָאָדָם׃ha/A/DAMof Man

    And unto you it shall be given to know the signs of the times, and the signs of the coming of the Son of Man;

12. 12

    וְכׇלve/KHOLand of as manyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasיָעִידya/IDshall bear recordעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMof themהָאָבha/AVthe Fatherלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENshall be givenכֹּחַKO/achpowerלַחְתֹּםlach/TOMto sealאוֹתָםo/TAMthemלְחַיֵּיle/chay/YEup unto lifeעוֹלָםo/LAMeternalאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    And of as many as the Father shall bear record, to you shall be given power to seal them up unto eternal life. Amen.

13. 13

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowעַלalconcerningהַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe itemsהַנּוֹסָפִיםhan/no/sa/FIMin additionעַלaltoהַבְּרִיתוֹתhab/be/ri/TOTthe covenantsוְהַמִּצְוֹתve/ham/mits/VOTand the commandmentsאֵלֶּהEL/letheseהֵם׃hemthey are

    And now, concerning the items in addition to the covenants and commandments, they are these—

14. 14

    נִשְׁאָרִיםnish/a/RIMthere remainאַחֲרֵי־כֵןa/cha/RE-khenhereafterבְּעֵתbe/ETin the due timeיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordפְּקִידִיםpe/ki/DIMbishopsאֲחֵרִיםa/che/RIMotherלְהִבָּדֵלle/hib/ba/DELto be set apartלַכְּנֵסִיָּהlak/ke/ne/siy/YAunto the churchלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto ministerגַּםgamevenכְּמוֹke/MOaccording toהָרִאשׁוֹן׃ha/ri/SHONthe first

    There remain hereafter, in the due time of the Lord, other bishops to be set apart unto the church, to minister even according to the first;

15. 15

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeיִהְיוּyih/YUthey shall beכֹּהֲנִיםko/ha/NIMpriestsגְּדוֹלִיםge/do/LIMhighרְאוּיִיםre/u/YIMworthyוִימֻנּוּvi/mun/NUand shall be appointedבְּיַדbe/YADbyנְשִׂיאוּתNe/si/UTthe Presidencyכְּהֻנַּתke/Hun/NATof the PriesthoodמַלְכִּיצֶדֶקMal/ki/TSE/dekof Melchizedekהָרִאשׁוֹנָהha/Ri/sho/NAthe Firstכִּי־אִםki-imexceptיִהְיוּyih/YUthey beזֶרַעZE/rathe seedאַהֲרֹן׃A/ha/RONof Aaron

    Wherefore they shall be high priests who are worthy, and they shall be appointed by the First Presidency of the Melchizedek Priesthood, except they be literal descendants of Aaron.

16. 16

    וְאִםve/IMand ifיִהְיוּyih/YUthey beזֶרַעZE/rathe seedאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONof Aaronיֶשׁ־לָהֶםyesh-la/HEMthey haveזְכוּתze/KHUTa rightכַּמִּשְׁפָּטkam/mish/PATlegalעַלaltoהַפְּקִידוּתhap/pe/ki/DUTthe bishopricאִםimifהֵםhemthey areהַבְּכוֹרִיםhab/be/kho/RIMthe firstbornבִּבְנֵיbiv/NEamong the sonsאַהֲרֹן׃A/ha/RONof Aaron

    And if they be literal descendants of Aaron they have a legal right to the bishopric, if they are the firstborn among the sons of Aaron;

17. 17

    כִּיkiforהַבְּכוֹרhab/be/KHORthe firstbornמַחֲזִיקma/cha/ZIKholdsזְכוּתze/KHUTthe rightהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/ne/si/UTof the presidencyעַלaloverהַכְּהֻנָּהhak/ke/hun/NAthe priesthoodהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְהַמַּפְתְּחוֹתve/ham/maf/te/CHOTand the keysאוֹoorהַסַּמְכוּתhas/sam/KHUTauthorityעָלֶיהָ׃a/le/HAof the same

    For the firstborn holds the right of the presidency over this priesthood, and the keys or authority of the same.

18. 18

    אֵיןenthere is noלְאִישׁle/ISHunto any manזְכוּתze/KHUTrightכַּמִּשְׁפָּטkam/mish/PATlegalעַלaltoהַמִּשְׂרָהham/mis/RAthe officeהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלְהַחֲזִיקle/ha/cha/ZIKto holdמַפְתְּחוֹתmaf/te/CHOTthe keysהַכְּהֻנָּהhak/ke/hun/NAof the priesthoodהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisכִּי־אִםki-imexceptיִהְיֶהyih/YEhe beזֶרַעZE/rathe seed ofוּבְכוֹרu/ve/KHORand the firstbornלְאַהֲרֹן׃le/A/ha/RONof Aaron

    No man has a legal right to this office, to hold the keys of this priesthood, except he be a literal descendant and the firstborn of Aaron.

19. 19

    אַךְakhbutבַּאֲשֶׁרba/a/SHERasלְכֹהֵןle/kho/HENto a priestגָּדוֹלga/DOLhighבִּכְהֻנַּתBikh/hun/NATof the PriesthoodמַלְכִּיצֶדֶקMal/ki/TSE/dekof Melchizedekיֵשׁyeshthere isסַמְכוּתsam/KHUTauthorityלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto officiateבְּכׇלbe/KHOLin allהַמִּשְׂרוֹתham/mis/ROTthe lesser officesיוּכַלyu/KHALhe mayלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETofficiateבְּמִשְׂרַתbe/mis/RATin the officeהַפָּקִידhap/pa/KIDof bishopכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenלֹאlonotנִמְצָאnim/TSAcan be foundזֶרַעZE/rathe seedאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONof Aaronאַךְakhprovidedאִםimthatנִקְרָאnik/RAhe is calledוְנִבְדַּלve/niv/DALand set apartוְנִסְמַךְve/nis/MAKHand ordainedלַכֹּחַlak/KO/achunto powerהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisתַּחַתTA/chatunderיְדֵיye/DEthe handsנְשִׂיאוּתNe/si/UTof the Presidencyכְּהֻנַּתke/Hun/NATof the PriesthoodמַלְכִּיצֶדֶקMal/ki/TSE/dekof Melchizedekהָרִאשׁוֹנָה׃ha/Ri/sho/NAthe First

    But, as a high priest of the Melchizedek Priesthood has authority to officiate in all the lesser offices he may officiate in the office of bishop when no literal descendant of Aaron can be found, provided he is called and set apart and ordained unto this power, under the hands of the First Presidency of the Melchizedek Priesthood.

    וְזֶרַעve/ZE/raand the seedאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONof Aaronגַּםgamalsoכֵּןkensoעָלָיוa/LAYVmustלְהִתְמַנּוֹתle/hit/man/NOTbe designatedבְּיַדbe/YADbyהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/Ne/si/UTthe Presidencyהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוּלְהִמָּצֵאu/le/him/ma/TSEand to be foundרָאוּיra/UYworthyוּלְהִמָּשַׁחu/le/him/ma/SHACHand to be anointedוּלְהִסָּמֵךְu/le/his/sa/MEKHand to be ordainedתַּחַתTA/chatunderיְדֵיye/DEthe handsהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/Ne/si/UTof the Presidencyהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְאִם־לֹאve/IM-lootherwiseאֵינָםe/NAMthey are notמֻרְשִׁיםmur/SHIMauthorizedכַּמִּשְׁפָּטkam/mish/PATlegallyלְשָׁרֵתle/sha/RETto officiateבִּכְהֻנָּתָם׃bikh/hun/na/TAMin their priesthood

    And a literal descendant of Aaron, also, must be designated by this Presidency, and found worthy, and anointed, and ordained under the hands of this Presidency, otherwise they are not legally authorized to officiate in their priesthood.

    אַךְakhbutמִכֹּחַmik/KO/achby virtueהַגְּזֵרָהhag/ge/ze/RAof the decreeעַלalconcerningזְכוּתze/KHUTthe rightהַכְּהֻנָּהhak/ke/hun/NAof the priesthoodהַיּוֹרֶדֶתhay/yo/RE/detdescendingמֵאָבme/AVfrom fatherלְבֵןle/VENto sonיוּכְלוּyukh/LUthey mayלִדְרֹשׁlid/ROSHclaimמִשְׁחָתָםmish/cha/TAMtheir anointingאִםimifבְּכׇלbe/KHOLat anyעֵתettimeיוּכְלוּyukh/LUthey canלְהוֹכִיחַle/ho/KHI/achproveיַחְשָׂםyach/SAMtheir lineageאוֹoorלְבָרֵרle/va/RERascertainאוֹתוֹo/TOitבְּחָזוֹןbe/cha/ZONby revelationמֵיְהוָהme-Adonaifrom the LordתַּחַתTA/chatunderיְדֵיye/DEthe handsהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/Ne/si/UTof the Presidencyהַנִּזְכֶּרֶתhan/niz/KE/retnamedלְמַעְלָה׃le/ma/LAabove

    But, by virtue of the decree concerning their right of the priesthood descending from father to son, they may claim their anointing if at any time they can prove their lineage, or do ascertain it by revelation from the Lord under the hands of the above named Presidency.

22. 22

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againלֹאlonotיִשָּׁפֵטyish/sha/FETshall be triedאוֹoorיֻרְשַׁעyur/SHAcondemnedפָּקִידpa/KIDany bishopאוֹoorכֹּהֵןko/HENpriestגָּדוֹלga/DOLhighהַנִּבְדָּלhan/niv/DALwho is set apartלָעֲבוֹדָהla/a/vo/DAfor ministryהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisעַלalforכׇּלkolanyפֶּשַׁעPE/shacrimeכִּי־אִםki-imsaveלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeנְשִׂיאוּתNe/si/UTthe Presidencyהַכְּנֵסִיָּהhak/ke/ne/siy/YAof the churchהָרִאשׁוֹנָה׃ha/Ri/sho/NAthe First

    And again, no bishop or high priest who shall be set apart for this ministry shall be tried or condemned for any crime, save it be before the First Presidency of the church;

23. 23

    וּכְפִיu/khe/FIand inasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasיִמָּצֵאyim/ma/TSEhe is foundאָשֵׁםa/SHEMguiltyלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/Ne/si/UTthe Presidencyהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisבְּעֵדוּתbe/e/DUTby testimonyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlocannotיֻפַרyu/FARbe impeachedיֻרְשַׁע׃yur/SHAhe shall be condemned

    And inasmuch as he is found guilty before this Presidency, by testimony that cannot be impeached, he shall be condemned;

24. 24

    וְאִםve/IMand ifיָשׁוּבya/SHUVhe repentsיִסָּלַחyis/sa/LACHit shall be forgivenלוֹlohimלְפִיle/FIaccording toבְּרִיתוֹתbe/ri/TOTthe covenantsוּמִצְוֹתu/mits/VOTand commandmentsהַכְּנֵסִיָּה׃hak/ke/ne/siy/YAof the church

    And if he repent he shall be forgiven, according to the covenants and commandments of the church.

25. 25

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againכְּפִיke/FIinasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasיֵשׁyeshhaveלַהוֹרִיםla/ho/RIMparentsיְלָדִיםye/la/DIMchildrenבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONin Zionאוֹoorבְּכׇלbe/KHOLin anyיְתֵדוֹתֶיהָye/te/do/te/HAof her stakesהָעֲרוּכוֹתha/a/ru/KHOTwhich are organizedוְאֵינָםve/e/NAMand they are notמְלַמְּדִיםme/lam/me/DIMteachingאוֹתָםo/TAMthemלְהָבִיןle/ha/VINto understandתּוֹרַתto/RATthe doctrineתְּשׁוּבָהte/shu/VAof repentanceאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithבַמָּשִׁיחַVam/ma/SHI/achin ChristבֶּןBenthe Sonאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMof Godחַיִּיםchay/YIMthe livingוּטְבִילָהu/te/vi/LAand of baptismוּמַתַּתu/mat/TATand the giftרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshof the Holy Ghostבִּסְמִיכַתbis/mi/KHATby the laying onיָדַיִםya/DA/yimof handsבִּהְיוֹתָםbih/yo/TAMwhen they areבְּנֵיbe/NEsonsשְׁמֹנֶהshe/mo/NEof eightשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyearsיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beהַחֵטְאha/CHETthe sinעַלaluponרֹאשׁroshthe headsהַהוֹרִים׃ha/ho/RIMof the parents

    And again, inasmuch as parents have children in Zion, or in any of her stakes which are organized, that teach them not to understand the doctrine of repentance, faith in Christ the Son of the living God, and of baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of the hands, when eight years old, the sin be upon the heads of the parents.

    כִּיkiforזֹאתzotthisתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beלְתוֹרָהle/to/RAa lawלְיוֹשְׁבֵיle/yosh/VEunto the inhabitantsצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionאוֹoorבְּכׇלbe/KHOLin anyיְתֵדוֹתֶיהָye/te/do/te/HAof her stakesהָעֲרוּכוֹת׃ha/a/ru/KHOTwhich are organized

    For this shall be a law unto the inhabitants of Zion, or in any of her stakes which are organized.

    וְיִטָּבְלוּve/yit/ta/ve/LUand shall be baptizedיַלְדֵיהֶםyal/de/HEMtheir childrenלִסְלִיחַתlis/li/CHATfor the remissionחֲטָאֵיהֶםcha/ta/e/HEMof their sinsבִּהְיוֹתָםbih/yo/TAMwhen they areבְּנֵיbe/NEsonsשְׁמֹנֶהshe/mo/NEof eightשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyearsוִיקַבְּלוּvi/kab/be/LUand shall receiveסְמִיכַתse/mi/KHATthe laying onיָדַיִם׃ya/da/YIMof hands

    And their children shall be baptized for the remission of their sins when eight years old, and receive the laying on of the hands.

28. 28

    וִילַמְּדוּvi/lam/me/DUand they shall teachגַםgamalsoיַלְדֵיהֶםyal/de/HEMtheir childrenלְהִתְפַּלֵּלle/hit/pal/LELto prayוְלָלֶכֶתve/la/LE/khetand to walkבְּיֹשֶׁרbe/YO/sheruprightlyלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord

    And they shall also teach their children to pray, and to walk uprightly before the Lord.

29. 29

    וְיִשְׁמְרוּve/yish/me/RUand shall observeיוֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitantsצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionגַּםgamalsoאֶת־יוֹםet-yomthe dayהַשַּׁבָּתhash/Shab/BATof the Sabbathלְקַדְּשׁוֹ׃le/kad/de/SHOto keep it holy

    And the inhabitants of Zion shall also observe the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

30. 30

    וְיִזְכְּרוּve/yiz/ke/RUand shall rememberיוֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitantsצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionגַּםgamalsoמְלַאכְתָּםme/lakh/TAMtheir laborsכְּפִיke/FIinasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasמֻנּוּmun/NUthey are appointedלַעֲבֹדla/a/VODto laborבְּכׇלbe/KHOLin allאֱמוּנָהe/mu/NAfaithfulnessכִּיkiforהָעָצֵלha/a/TSELthe idlerיִזָּכֵרyiz/za/KHERshall be had in remembranceלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord

    And the inhabitants of Zion also shall remember their labors, inasmuch as they are appointed to labor, in all faithfulness; for the idler shall be had in remembrance before the Lord.

31. 31

    עַתָּהat/TAnowאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordלֹאlonotחָפַצְתִּיcha/FATS/tiam well pleasedבְּיוֹשְׁבֵיbe/yosh/VEwith the inhabitantsצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionכִּיkiforיֵשׁyeshthere areעֲצֵלִיםa/tse/LIMidlersבֵּינֵיהֶםbe/ne/HEMamong themוְיַלְדֵיהֶםve/yal/de/HEMand their childrenגַּםgamalsoגְּדֵלִיםge/de/LIMare growing upבְּרֶשַׁעbe/RE/shain wickednessגַּםgamalsoאֵינָםe/NAMthey do notמְבַקְּשִׁיםme/vak/ke/SHIMseekבְּכׇל־לֵבbe/KHOL-levearnestlyעֹשֶׁרO/sherthe richesהַנֶּצַחhan/NE/tsachof eternityכִּי־אִםki-imbutעֵינֵיהֶםe/ne/HEMtheir eyes areמְלֵאוֹתme/le/OTfullבֶּצַע׃be/TSAof greediness

    Now, I, the Lord, am not well pleased with the inhabitants of Zion, for there are idlers among them; and their children are also growing up in wickedness; they also seek not earnestly the riches of eternity, but their eyes are full of greediness.

32. 32

    הַדְּבָרִיםhad/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלֹאlonotיִהְיוּyih/YUought to beוְנָכוֹןve/na/KHONand mustלַהֲסִירָםla/ha/si/RAMbe done awayמִבֵּינֵיהֶםmib/be/ne/HEMfrom among themלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantאוֹלִיבֶרO/li/VEROliverקַאוּדְרִיKa/ud/RICowderyיוֹלִיךְyo/LIKHlet him carryהָאֲמָרִיםha/a/ma/RIMthe sayingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלְאֶרֶץle/E/retsunto the landצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONof Zion

    These things ought not to be, and must be done away from among them; wherefore, let my servant Oliver Cowdery carry these sayings unto the land of Zion.

33. 33

    וּמִצְוָהu/mits/VAand a commandmentאֲנִיa/NIIנוֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָהֶםla/HEMthemאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuhe that notשֹׁמֵרsho/MERobservesתְּפִלּוֹתָיוte/fil/lo/TAYVhis prayersלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordבְּעִתָּןbe/it/TANin the season thereofיִזָּכֵרyiz/za/KHERlet him be had in remembranceלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeשׁוֹפֵטsho/FETthe judgeעַמִּי׃am/MIof my people

    And a commandment I give unto them—that he that observeth not his prayers before the Lord in the season thereof, let him be had in remembrance before the judge of my people.

34. 34

    הָאֲמָרִיםha/a/ma/RIMthe sayingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֱמֶתe/METtrueוְנֶאֱמָנִיםve/ne/e/ma/NIMand faithfulהֵםhemthey areלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאַלaldo notתַּעַבְרוּta/av/RUtransgressעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMthemוְאַלve/ALneitherתִּגְרְעוּtig/re/Utakeמֵהֶם׃me/HEMtherefrom

    These sayings are true and faithful; wherefore, transgress them not, neither take therefrom.

35. 35

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NII amאָלֶףA/lefAlphaוְתָוve/TAVand Omegaוּמְהֵרָהu/me/he/RAand quicklyאָבוֹאa/VOI comeאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    Behold, I am Alpha and Omega, and I come quickly. Amen.
