   Hearken unto my word, my servants Sidney, and Parley, and Leman; for behold, verily I say unto you, that I give unto you a commandment that you shall go and preach my gospel which ye have received, even as ye have received it, unto the Shakers.

   Behold, I say unto you, that they desire to know the truth in part, but not all, for they are not right before me and must needs repent.

   Wherefore, I send you, my servants Sidney and Parley, to preach the gospel unto them.

   וְעַבְדִּיve/av/DIand my servantלֵימַןLe/MANLemanיִסָּמֵךְyis/sa/MEKHshall be ordainedלָעֲבוֹדָהla/a/vo/DAunto the workהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִתְוַכַּחyit/vak/KACHhe may reasonעִמָּםim/MAMwith themלֹאlonotלְפִיle/FIaccording toאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatקִבֵּלkib/BELwhich he receivedמֵהֶםme/HEMof themכִּי־אִםki-imbutלְפִיle/FIaccording toאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִלָּמֵדyil/la/MEDwhich shall be taughtבִּידֵיכֶםbi/de/KHEMby your handsעֲבָדַיa/va/DAYmy servantsוּבַעֲשׂוֹתוֹu/va/a/so/TOand by soכֵןkhendoingאֲבָרְכֶנּוּa/va/re/khen/NUI will bless himוְאִםve/IMand ifלֹאlonotלֹאlonotיַצְלִיחַ׃yats/LI/achshall he prosper

   And my servant Leman shall be ordained unto this work, that he may reason with them, not according to that which he has received of them, but according to that which shall be taught him by you my servants; and by so doing I will bless him, otherwise he shall not prosper.

   כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordכִּיkiforאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amוָאֶשְׁלַחva/esh/LACHand sentבְּנִיbe/NImy SonיְחִידִיYe/chi/DIOnly Begottenלָעוֹלָםla/o/LAMinto the worldלִגְאֻלַּתlig/ul/LATfor the redemptionהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMof the worldוָאֶגְזֹרva/eg/ZORand decreedכִּיkithatהַמְקַבְּלוֹham/kab/be/LOhe that receives himיִוָּשֵׁעַyiv/va/SHE/ashall be savedוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he thatלֹאlonotיְקַבְּלוֹye/kab/be/LOreceives himיֶאְשַׁם׃ye/SHAMhe shall be damned

   Thus saith the Lord; for I am God, and have sent mine Only Begotten Son into the world for the redemption of the world, and have decreed that he that receiveth him shall be saved, and he that receiveth him not shall be damned—

   וַיַּעֲשׂוּvay/ya/a/SUand they didלְבֶןle/VENunto the Sonהָאָדָםha/A/DAMof Manכִּרְצוֹנָםkir/tso/NAMaccording to their willוְהוּאve/HUand heלָקַחla/KACHtookעֻזּוֹuz/ZOhis powerלִימִיןli/MINon the right handכְּבוֹדוֹke/vo/DOof his gloryוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowמוֹלֵךְmo/LEKHhe reignsבַּשָּׁמַיִםbash/sha/MA/yimin the heavensוְיִמְלֹךְve/yim/LOKHand shall reignעַדaduntilרִדְתּוֹrid/TOhis descentלָאָרֶץla/A/retsto the earthלָשׂוּםla/SUMto putכׇּלkolallאֹיְבָיוoy/VAYVhis enemiesתַּחַתTA/chatunderרַגְלָיוrag/LAYVhis feetוְהָעֵתve/ha/ETand the timeקְרוֹבָה׃ke/ro/VAis nigh

   And they have done unto the Son of Man even as they listed; and he has taken his power on the right hand of his glory, and now reigneth in the heavens, and will reign till he descends on the earth to put all enemies under his feet, which time is nigh at hand—

   I, the Lord God, have spoken it; but the hour and the day no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor shall they know until he comes.

   לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeחָפֵץcha/FETSdesireאֲנִיa/NIIכִּיkithatיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vushall repentכׇּלkolallהָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMmenכִּיkiforהַכֹּלhak/KOLallתַּחַתTA/chatare underחֵטְאchetsinמִלְּבַדmil/le/VADexceptאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthose whichשָׁמַרְתִּיsha/MAR/tiI reservedלִיliunto myselfאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEmenקֹדֶשׁKO/deshof holinessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomלֹאlonotיְדַעְתֶּם׃ye/da/TEMyou know of

   Wherefore, I will that all men shall repent, for all are under sin, except those which I have reserved unto myself, holy men that ye know not of.

   לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youשָׁלַחְתִּיsha/LACH/tiI sentאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youבְּרִיתִיbe/ri/TImy covenantאֲשֶׁר־לְעוֹלָםa/SHER-le/o/LAMeverlastingגַּםgamevenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasמֵרֵאשִׁית׃me/re/SHITfrom the beginning

   Wherefore, I say unto you that I have sent unto you mine everlasting covenant, even that which was from the beginning.

10. 10

    וַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand that whichהִבְטַחְתִּיhiv/tach/TII promisedכֵּןkensoקִיַּמְתִּיkiy/yam/TII fulfilledוְגוֹיֵיve/go/YEand the nationsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthיִכְרְעוּyikh/re/Ushall bowלָהּlato itוְאִם־לֹאve/IM-loand if notמִלִּבָּםmil/lib/BAMof themselvesיִשְׁפָּלוּyish/PA/luthey shall come downכִּיkiforהַמִּתְנַשֵּׂאham/mit/nas/SEthat which exalts itselfעַתָּהat/TAnowמִלִּבּוֹmil/lib/BOof itselfיִשְׁפַּלyish/PALshall be laid lowבְּכֹחַ׃be/KHO/achof power

    And that which I have promised I have so fulfilled, and the nations of the earth shall bow to it; and, if not of themselves, they shall come down, for that which is now exalted of itself shall be laid low of power.

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMyouמִצְוָהmits/VAa commandmentלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto goבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHamongהָעָםha/AMthe peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְלֵאמֹרve/le/MORand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themכִּשְׁלִיחִיkish/li/CHIlike unto my apostleמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/demof oldאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseשְׁמוֹshe/MOname wasפֶּטְרוֹס׃Pet/ROSPeter

    Wherefore, I give unto you a commandment that ye go among this people, and say unto them, like unto mine apostle of old, whose name was Peter:

12. 12

    הַאֲמִינוּha/a/MI/nubelieveבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMon the nameהָאָדוֹןha/a/DONof the LordיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהָיָהha/YAwasעַלalonהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERandיָבוֹאya/VOis to comeהָרֵאשִׁיתha/re/SHITthe beginningוְהָאַחֲרִית׃ve/ha/a/cha/RITand the end

    Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus, who was on the earth, and is to come, the beginning and the end;

13. 13

    שׁוּבוּSHU/vurepentוְהִטָּבְלוּve/hit/ta/ve/LUand be baptizedבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the nameיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aof JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristכְּמִצְוַתke/mits/VATaccording to the commandmentהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshof the holyלִסְלִיחַתlis/li/CHATfor the remissionחֲטָאִים׃cha/ta/IMof sins

    Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, according to the holy commandment, for the remission of sins;

14. 14

    וְהָעֹשֶׂהve/ha/o/SEand whoso doesזֹאתzotthisיְקַבֵּלye/kab/BELshall receiveמַתְּנַתmat/te/NATthe giftרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁRU/ach-Hak/KO/deshof the Holy Ghostבִּסְמִיכַתbis/mi/KHATby the laying onיְדֵיye/DEof the handsזִקְנֵיzik/NEof the eldersהַכְּנֵסִיָּה׃hak/ke/ne/siy/YAof the church

    And whoso doeth this shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, by the laying on of the hands of the elders of the church.

15. 15

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youהָאוֹסֵרha/o/SERwhoso forbidsהַחֲתֻנָּהha/cha/tun/NAmarriageאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notמֵאֵתme/ETordained fromאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodכִּיkiforהַחֲתֻנָּהha/cha/tun/NAmarriageמֵאֵתme/ETis fromאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodלָאָדָם׃la/a/DAMunto man

    And again, verily I say unto you, that whoso forbiddeth to marry is not ordained of God, for marriage is ordained of God unto man.

16. 16

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeמֻתָּרmut/TARit is lawfulכִּיkithatתִהְיֶה־לּוֹtih/YE-loshe be unto himאִשָּׁהish/SHAwifeאַחַתa/CHAToneוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beשְׁנֵיהֶםshe/ne/HEMbothלְבָשָׂרle/va/SARinto fleshאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְכׇלve/KHOLand allזֹאתzotthisלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתַּעֲנֶהta/a/NEmight answerהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthלְתַכְלִיתle/takh/LITthe endבְּרִיאָתָהּ׃be/ri/a/TAof its creation

    Wherefore, it is lawful that he should have one wife, and they twain shall be one flesh, and all this that the earth might answer the end of its creation;

17. 17

    וּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand thatתִּמָּלֵאtim/ma/LEit might be filledבְּמִדַּתbe/mid/DATwith the measureהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof manלְפִיle/FIaccording toבְּרִיאָתוֹbe/ri/a/TOhis creationלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהִבָּרֵאhib/ba/REthe creationהָעוֹלָם׃ha/o/LAMof the world

    And that it might be filled with the measure of man, according to his creation before the world was made.

18. 18

    וְהָאוֹסֵרve/ha/o/SERand whoso forbidsלְהִנָּזֵרle/hin/na/ZERto abstainמִבָּשָׂרmib/ba/SARfrom meatsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotיֹאכַלyo/KHALshould eatהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notמֵאֵתme/ETordained fromאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    And whoso forbiddeth to abstain from meats, that man should not eat the same, is not ordained of God;

19. 19

    כִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdחַיַּתchay/YATthe beastsהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEof the fieldוְעוֹףve/OFand the fowlsהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimof the airוְהַיּוֹצֵאve/hay/yo/TSEand that which comes forthמִןminfromהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthנוֹעֲדוּno/a/DUare ordainedלַעֲבֹדַתla/a/vo/DATfor the useהָאָדָםha/a/DAMof manלְמַאֲכָלle/ma/a/KHALfor foodוְלִלְבוּשׁve/lil/VUSHand for raimentוּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand thatיִהְיֶה־לּוֹyih/YE-loshall be unto himלָרֹב׃la/ROVin abundance

    For, behold, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and that which cometh of the earth, is ordained for the use of man for food and for raiment, and that he might have in abundance.

20. 20

    אַךְakhbutלֹאlonotנִתַּןnit/TANis givenכִּיkithatיִרְכֹּשׁyir/KOSHshould possessאִישׁishmanאֶחָדe/CHADoneיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreמֵאִישׁme/ISHthan a manאַחֵרa/CHERanotherלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldשׁוֹכֵבsho/KHEVliesבַּחֵטְא׃ba/CHETin sin

    But it is not given that one man should possess that which is above another, wherefore the world lieth in sin.

21. 21

    וְאוֹיve/OYand woלָאָדָםla/a/DAMunto manהַשֹּׁפֵךְhash/sho/FEKHthat shedsדָּםdambloodאוֹoorהַמַּשְׁחִיתham/mash/CHITthat wastesבָּשָׂרba/SARfleshבְּלֹאbe/LOwithoutצֹרֶךְ׃tso/REKHneed

    And wo be unto man that sheddeth blood or that wasteth flesh and hath no need.

22. 22

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youבֶּןBenthe Sonהָאָדָםha/A/DAMof Manאֵינֶנּוּe/NEN/nuis notבָאvacomingבִּדְמוּתbid/MUTin the formאִשָּׁהish/SHAof a womanוְלֹאve/LOneitherבִּדְמוּתbid/MUTin the formאִישׁishof a manהַמְהַלֵּךְham/hal/LEKHtravelingעַלalonהָאָרֶץ׃ha/a/RETSthe earth

    And again, verily I say unto you, that the Son of Man cometh not in the form of a woman, neither of a man traveling on the earth.

23. 23

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeאַלaldo notתִּתָּעוּtit/ta/Ube you deceivedכִּי־אִםki-imbutעִמְדוּim/DUcontinueבְּאֵמוּןbe/e/MUNin steadfastnessצַפּוּtsap/PUlooking forthלְהֵרָעֵשׁle/he/ra/ESHfor to be shakenהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְלִרְעֹדve/lir/ODand to trembleהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְלָנוּעַve/la/NU/aand to reelהֵנָּהHEN/natoוָהֵנָּהva/HEN/naand froכַּשִּׁכּוֹרkash/shik/KORas a drunken manוּלְהִנָּשֵׂאu/le/hin/na/SEand to be exaltedהָעֲמָקִיםha/a/ma/KIMthe valleysוְלִשְׁפֹּלve/lish/POLand to be made lowהֶהָרִיםhe/ha/RIMthe mountainsוְלִהְיוֹתve/lih/YOTand to becomeהֶעָקֹבhe/a/KOVthe rough placesלְמִישׁוֹרle/mi/SHORsmoothוְכׇלve/KHOLand allזֹאתzotthisכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERwhenיִתְקַעyit/KAshall soundהַמַּלְאָךְham/mal/AKHthe angelבַּשּׁוֹפָר׃bash/sho/FARhis trumpet

    Wherefore, be not deceived, but continue in steadfastness, looking forth for the heavens to be shaken, and the earth to tremble and to reel to and fro as a drunken man, and for the valleys to be exalted, and for the mountains to be made low, and for the rough places to become smooth—and all this when the angel shall sound his trumpet.

    אַךְakhbutלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeבוֹאvothe comingיוֹםyomof the dayיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobיִפְרַחyif/RACHshall flourishבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessוְהַלָּמָנִיםve/hal/La/ma/NIMand the Lamanitesיָצִיצוּya/tsi/TSUshall blossomכַּחֲבַצָּלֶת׃ka/cha/vats/tsa/LETas the rose

    But before the great day of the Lord shall come, Jacob shall flourish in the wilderness, and the Lamanites shall blossom as the rose.

25. 25

    צִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionתִּפְרַחtif/RACHshall flourishעַלaluponהַגְּבָעוֹתhag/ge/va/OTthe hillsוְתָגֵלve/ta/GELand rejoiceעַלaluponהֶהָרִיםhe/ha/RIMthe mountainsוְתֵאָסֵףve/te/a/SEFand shall be assembled togetherאֶלeluntoהַמָּקוֹםham/ma/KOMthe placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichמִנִּיתִי׃min/ni/TII appointed

    Zion shall flourish upon the hills and rejoice upon the mountains, and shall be assembled together unto the place which I have appointed.

26. 26

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youלְכוּle/KHUgo forthכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouשׁוּבוּSHU/vurepentמִכׇּלmik/KOLof allחַטֹּאתֵיכֶםchat/to/te/KHEMyour sinsשַׁאֲלוּsha/a/LUaskוּתְקַבְּלוּu/te/kab/be/LUand you shall receiveדִּפְקוּdif/KUknockוְיִפָּתַחve/yip/PA/tachand shall be openedלָכֶם׃la/KHEMunto you

    Behold, I say unto you, go forth as I have commanded you; repent of all your sins; ask and ye shall receive; knock and it shall be opened unto you.

27. 27

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֵלֵךְe/LEKHI will goלִפְנֵיכֶםlif/ne/KHEMbefore youוְאֶהְיֶהve/eh/YEand I will beמְאַסִּפְכֶםme/as/sif/KHEMyour rearwardוְאֶהְיֶהve/eh/YEand I will beבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMin your midstוְלֹאve/LOand notתֵבֹשׁוּ׃te/vo/SHUyou shall be confounded

    Behold, I will go before you and be your rearward; and I will be in your midst, and you shall not be confounded.

28. 28

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NII amיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aJesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristוּמְהֵרָהu/me/he/RAand quicklyאָבוֹאa/VOI comeכֵּןkeneven soיְהִיye/HIbe itאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    Behold, I am Jesus Christ, and I come quickly. Even so. Amen.
