   Behold, thou wast called and chosen to write the Book of Mormon, and to my ministry; and I have lifted thee up out of thine afflictions, and have counseled thee, that thou hast been delivered from all thine enemies, and thou hast been delivered from the powers of Satan and from darkness!

   Nevertheless, thou art not excusable in thy transgressions; nevertheless, go thy way and sin no more.

   גַּדֵּלgad/DELmagnifyמִשְׂרָתֶךָmis/ra/te/KHAyour officeוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand afterזְרֹעֲךָze/ro/a/KHAyou sowedשָׂדוֹתֶיךָsa/do/te/KHAyour fieldsוְהֶחֱזַקְתָּםve/he/che/zak/TAMand secured themלֵךְlekhgoמְהֵרָהme/he/RAspeedilyאֶל־הַכְּנֵסִיָּהel-hak/ke/ne/siy/YAunto the churchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבְּקוֹלֶסְוִילbe/Ko/les/VILin ColesvilleוּפַיֶיטU/fa/YETFayetteוּמַנְחֶסְטֶרu/Man/ches/TERand Manchesterוְיִתְמְכוּ־בְךָve/yit/me/KHU-ve/KHAand they shall support youוַאֲבָרְכֵםva/a/va/re/KHEMand I will bless themגַּם־בָּרוּחַgam-ba/RU/achboth spirituallyגַּם־בַּגְּוִיָּה׃gam-bag/ge/viy/YAand temporally

   Magnify thine office; and after thou hast sowed thy fields and secured them, go speedily unto the church which is in Colesville, Fayette, and Manchester, and they shall support thee; and I will bless them both spiritually and temporally;

   וְאִםve/IMbut ifלֹאlonotיְקַבְּלוּךָye/kab/be/lu/KHAthey receive youאֶשְׁלַחesh/LACHI will sendעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themקְלָלָהke/la/LAa cursingתַּחַתTA/chatinstead ofבְּרָכָה׃be/ra/KHAa blessing

   But if they receive thee not, I will send upon them a cursing instead of a blessing.

   וְתוֹסִיףve/to/SIFand you shall continueלִקְרֹאlik/ROin callingאֶל־אֱלֹהִיםel-e/lo/HIMupon Godבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameוְלִכְתֹּבve/likh/TOVand writingאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthe things whichיִנָּתֵןyin/na/TENshall be givenלְךָle/KHAyouבְּיַדbe/YADbyהַמְּנַחֵםham/Me/na/CHEMthe Comforterוּלְבָאֵרu/le/va/ERand expoundingכׇּל־הַכְּתוּבִיםkol-hak/ke/tu/VIMall scripturesלַכְּנֵסִיָּה׃lak/ke/ne/siy/YAunto the church

   And thou shalt continue in calling upon God in my name, and writing the things which shall be given thee by the Comforter, and expounding all scriptures unto the church.

6. 6

   וְנִתָּןve/nit/TANand it shall be givenלְךָle/KHAyouבָּרֶגַעba/RE/gain the very momentמָהmawhatתְּדַבֵּרte/dab/BERyou shall speakוּמָהu/MAandתִּכְתֹּבtikh/TOVwriteוְיִשְׁמְעוּve/yish/me/Uand they shall hearאוֹoorאֶשְׁלַחesh/LACHI will sendעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMunto themקְלָלָהke/la/LAa cursingתַּחַתTA/chatinstead ofבְּרָכָה׃be/ra/KHAa blessing

   And it shall be given thee in the very moment what thou shalt speak and write, and they shall hear it, or I will send unto them a cursing instead of a blessing.

   כִּיkiforתַקְדִּישׁtak/DISHyou shall devoteכׇּל־עֲבֹדָתְךָkol-a/vo/da/te/KHAall your serviceבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONin Zionוּבְזֶהu/ve/ZEand in thisיִהְיֶה־לְּךָyih/YE-le/KHAyou shall haveכֹחַ׃KHO/achstrength

   For thou shalt devote all thy service in Zion; and in this thou shalt have strength.

8. 8

   הֱיֵהhe/YEbeאֶרֶךְ־אַפַּיִםE/rekh-ap/PA/yimpatientבַּצָּרוֹתbats/tsa/ROTin afflictionsכִּיkiforרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyיִהְיֶינָהyih/ye/NAshall beלְךָle/KHAto youאַךְakhbutעֲמֹדa/MODendureבָּהֶןba/HENthemכִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEloאֲנִיa/NIIעִמְּךָim/me/KHAam with youעַדadeven untoקֵץketsthe endיָמֶיךָ׃ya/me/KHAof your days

   Be patient in afflictions, for thou shalt have many; but endure them, for, lo, I am with thee, even unto the end of thy days.

   וּבְעָמָלu/ve/a/MALand in laborsגַשְׁמִיgash/MItemporalלֹאlonotיִהְיֶה־לְּךָyih/YE-le/KHAyou shall haveכֹחַKHO/achstrengthכִּיkiforאֵיןennotזֹאתzotthis isקְרִיאָתְךָke/ri/a/te/KHAyour callingשְׁקֹדshe/KODattendאֶלeltoקְרִיאָתְךָke/ri/a/te/KHAyour callingוְיִהְיֶה־לְּךָve/yih/YE-le/KHAand you shall haveבַּמָּהbam/MAwherewithלְגַדֵּלle/gad/DELto magnifyמִשְׂרָתְךָmis/ra/te/KHAyour officeוּלְבָאֵרu/le/va/ERand to expoundכׇּל־הַכְּתוּבִיםkol-hak/ke/tu/VIMall scripturesוּלְהוֹסִיףu/le/ho/SIFand continueבִּסְמִיכַתbis/mi/KHATin laying onיָדַיִםya/DA/yimof the handsוּבְקִיּוּםu/ve/kiy/YUMand confirmingהַכְּנֵסִיּוֹת׃hak/ke/ne/siy/YOTthe churches

   And in temporal labors thou shalt not have strength, for this is not thy calling. Attend to thy calling and thou shalt have wherewith to magnify thine office, and to expound all scriptures, and continue in laying on of the hands and confirming the churches.

10. 10

    וְאָחִיךָve/a/CHI/khaand your brotherאוֹלִיבֶרO/li/VEROliverיוֹסִיףyo/SIFshall continueלָשֵׂאתla/SETin bearingשְׁמִיshe/MImy nameלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldוְגַםve/GAMand alsoלַכְּנֵסִיָּהlak/ke/ne/siy/YAto the churchוְאַלve/ALand notיְדַמֶּהye/dam/MEshall he supposeכִּיkithatיוּכַלyu/KHALhe canלְדַבֵּרle/dab/BERsayדַּיdayenoughבִּדְבָרִיbid/va/RIin my causeוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand loאֲנִיa/NII amאִתּוֹit/TOwith himעַד־הַקֵּץ׃ad-hak/KETSto the end

    And thy brother Oliver shall continue in bearing my name before the world, and also to the church. And he shall not suppose that he can say enough in my cause; and lo, I am with him to the end.

11. 11

    בִּיbiin meיִהְיֶה־לּוֹyih/YE-lohe shall haveכָבוֹדkha/VODgloryוְלֹאve/LOand notמֵעַצְמוֹme/ats/MOof himselfבֵּיןbenwhetherבְּרִפְיוֹןbe/rif/YONin weaknessבֵּיןbenorבְּכֹחַbe/KHO/achin strengthבֵּיןbenwhetherבְּכֶבֶלbe/KHE/velin bondsבֵּיןbenorבְּחֹפֶשׁ׃be/cho/FESHfree

    In me he shall have glory, and not of himself, whether in weakness or in strength, whether in bonds or free;

12. 12

    וּבְכׇל־עֵתu/ve/KHOL-etand at all timesוּבְכׇל־מָקוֹםu/ve/KHOL-ma/KOMand in all placesיִפְתַּחyif/TACHhe shall openפִּיוpivhis mouthוְיַשְׁמִיעַve/yash/MI/aand declareבְּשׂוֹרָתִיbe/so/ra/TImy gospelכְּקוֹלke/KOLas with the voiceשׁוֹפָרsho/FARof a trumpיוֹמָםyo/MAMboth dayוָלָיְלָהva/LAY/laand nightוְאֶתֵּןve/et/TENand I will giveלוֹlohimכֹּחַKO/achstrengthאֲשֶׁרa/SHERsuch as isלֹאlonotנוֹדַעno/DAknownבֵּיןbenamongאֲנָשִׁים׃a/na/SHIMmen

    And at all times, and in all places, he shall open his mouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give unto him strength such as is not known among men.

13. 13

    אַלalnotתִּדְרְשׁוּtid/re/SHUrequireמוֹפְתִיםmof/TIMmiraclesזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexceptאֲצַוֶּהa/tsav/VEI shall commandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexceptגָּרֵשׁga/RESHcasting outשֵׁדִיםshe/DIMdevilsוְרַפֵּאve/rap/PEhealingחוֹלִיםcho/LIMthe sickוּמִפְּנֵיu/mip/pe/NEand againstנְחָשִׁיםne/cha/SHIMserpentsשְׂרָפִיםse/ra/FIMpoisonousוּמִפְּנֵיu/mip/pe/NEand againstסַםsamthe poisonהַמָּוֶת׃ham/ma/VETof death

    Require not miracles, except I shall command you, except casting out devils, healing the sick, and against poisonous serpents, and against deadly poisons;

14. 14

    וְאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםve/ET-had/de/va/RIMand the thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלֹאlonotתַעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou shall doזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexcept it beיְבֻקָּשׁye/vuk/KASHrequiredמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youמֵאֵתme/ETbyהַחֲפֵצִיםha/cha/fe/TSIMthem who desire itלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִמָּלְאוּyim/ma/le/Umight be fulfilledהַכְּתוּבִיםhak/ke/tu/VIMthe scripturesכִּיkiforכַּכָּתוּבkak/ka/TUVaccording to that which is writtenתַעֲשׂוּ׃ta/a/SUyou shall do

    And these things ye shall not do, except it be required of you by them who desire it, that the scriptures might be fulfilled; for ye shall do according to that which is written.

15. 15

    וּבְכׇל־מָקוֹםu/ve/KHOL-ma/KOMand in whatsoever placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתָּבֹאוּta/VO/uyou shall enterוְלֹאve/LOand notיְקַבְּלוּye/kab/be/LUthey receiveאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameתַּעַזְבוּta/az/VUyou shall leaveקְלָלָהke/la/LAa cursingתַּחַתTA/chatinstead ofבְּרָכָהbe/ra/KHAa blessingבִּנְעֹרbin/ORby casting offאֶת־עֲפַרet-a/FARthe dustרַגְלֵיכֶםrag/le/KHEMof your feetעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMagainst themלְעֵדוּתle/e/DUTas a testimonyוּבְטַהֵרu/ve/ta/HERand by cleansingרַגְלֵיכֶםrag/le/KHEMyour feetבַּדֶּרֶךְ׃bad/de/REKHby the wayside

    And in whatsoever place ye shall enter, and they receive you not in my name, ye shall leave a cursing instead of a blessing, by casting off the dust of your feet against them as a testimony, and cleansing your feet by the wayside.

16. 16

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכֹּלkolwhosoeverהַשֹּׁלֵחַhash/sho/LE/achshall layיָדyadtheir handsבָּכֶםba/KHEMupon youבְּחָמָסbe/cha/MASby violenceתְּצַוּוּte/tsav/VUyou shall commandלְהַכּוֹתוֹle/hak/ko/TOto be smittenבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאַכֶּנּוּak/KEN/nuI will smite themכְּדִבְרֵיכֶםke/div/re/KHEMaccording to your wordsבְּעִתִּי׃be/it/TIin my own due time

    And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall lay their hands upon you by violence, ye shall command to be smitten in my name; and, behold, I will smite them according to your words, in mine own due time.

17. 17

    וְכֹלve/KHOLand whosoeverהָרָבha/RAVshall go to lawעִמְּךָim/me/KHAwith youיְקֻלַּלye/kul/LALshall be cursedבַּתּוֹרָה׃bat/to/RAby the law

    And whosoever shall go to law with thee shall be cursed by the law.

18. 18

    וְלֹאve/LOand notתִקַּחtik/KACHyou shall takeכִּיסkispurseוְלֹאve/LOnorתַרְמִילtar/MILscripוְלֹאve/LOneitherמַקְלוֹתmak/LOTstavesוְלֹאve/LOneitherשְׁתֵּיshtetwoכֻתֳּנוֹתkhut/to/NOTcoatsכִּיkiforהַכְּנֵסִיָּהhak/ke/ne/siy/YAthe churchתִתֵּןtit/TENshall giveלְךָle/KHAyouבְּעֶצֶםbe/E/tsemin the veryהַשָּׁעָהhash/sha/Ahourמָהmawhatלְמַאֲכָלle/ma/a/KHALfor foodוְלִלְבוּשׁve/lil/VUSHand for raimentוּלְמִנְעָלִיםu/le/min/a/LIMand for shoesוּלְכֶסֶףu/le/KHE/sefand for moneyוּלְתַרְמִיל׃u/le/tar/MILand for scrip

    And thou shalt take no purse nor scrip, neither staves, neither two coats, for the church shall give unto thee in the very hour what thou needest for food and for raiment, and for shoes and for money, and for scrip.

19. 19

    כִּיkiforנִקְרֵאתָnik/re/TAyou are calledלִזְמֹרliz/MORto pruneאֶת־כַּרְמִיet-kar/MImy vineyardזְמִירָהze/mi/RAwith a pruningעֲצוּמָהa/tsu/MAmightyאַףafyea evenלָאַחֲרוֹנָהla/a/cha/ro/NAfor the last timeאָכֵןa/KHENyeaוְגַםve/GAMand alsoכֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthose whomסָמַכְתָּsa/makh/TAyou ordainedוְיַעֲשׂוּve/ya/a/SUand they shall doכַּמִּשְׁפָּטkam/mish/PATaccording to the patternהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    For thou art called to prune my vineyard with a mighty pruning, yea, even for the last time; yea, and also all those whom thou hast ordained, and they shall do even according to this pattern. Amen.
