   I, having accomplished and finished the will of him whose I am, even the Father, concerning me—having done this that I might subdue all things unto myself—

   Retaining all power, even to the destroying of Satan and his works at the end of the world, and the last great day of judgment, which I shall pass upon the inhabitants thereof, judging every man according to his works and the deeds which he hath done.

   And surely every man must repent or suffer, for I, God, am endless.

   Wherefore, I revoke not the judgments which I shall pass, but woes shall go forth, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth, yea, to those who are found on my left hand.

   Nevertheless, it is not written that there shall be no end to this torment, but it is written endless torment.

   Again, it is written eternal damnation; wherefore it is more express than other scriptures, that it might work upon the hearts of the children of men, altogether for my name's glory.

   Wherefore, I will explain unto you this mystery, for it is meet unto you to know even as mine apostles.

   אֵלֶיךָe/LE/khaunto youאֲנִיa/NIIמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERspeakהַנִּבְחָרhan/niv/CHARthat are chosenבַּדָּבָרbad/da/VARin thingהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכְּאֶחָדke/e/CHADeven as oneלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתָּבֹאta/VOyou may enterאֶל־מְנוּחָתִי׃el-me/nu/cha/TIinto my rest

   I speak unto you that are chosen in this thing, even as one, that you may enter into my rest.

    כִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdסוֹדsodthe mysteryהַחֲסִידוּתha/cha/si/DUTof godlinessמַה־גָּדוֹלma-ga/DOLhow greatהוּאhuit isכִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֵין־קֵץen-ketsendlessאָנִיA/niI amוְהָעֹנֶשׁve/ha/O/neshand the punishmentהַנָּתוּןhan/na/TUNwhich is givenמִיָּדִיmiy/ya/DIfrom my handעֹנֶשׁO/neshpunishmentאֵין־קֵץen-ketsis endlessהוּאhuit isכִּיkiforאֵין־קֵץEn-ketsEndlessשְׁמִיshe/MIis my nameלָכֵן׃la/KHENwherefore

    For, behold, the mystery of godliness, how great is it! For, behold, I am endless, and the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment, for Endless is my name. Wherefore—

    עֹנֶשׁO/neshpunishmentעוֹלָםo/LAMeternalהוּאhuisעֹנֶשׁO/neshpunishmentאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMof God

    Eternal punishment is God's punishment.

    Endless punishment is God's punishment.

    Wherefore, I command you to repent, and keep the commandments which you have received by the hand of my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., in my name;

    וּבְכֹחִיu/ve/kho/CHIand by my powerהַכַּבִּירhak/kab/BIRthe almightyקִבַּלְתָּם׃kib/bal/TAMthat you received them

    And it is by my almighty power that you have received them;

15. 15

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommanding youאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amלָשׁוּבla/SHUVto repentשׁוּבshuvrepentפֶּןpenlestאַכֶּהak/KEI smiteאוֹתְךָot/KHAyouבְּשֵׁבֶטbe/SHE/vetby the rodפִּיpiof my mouthוּבַחֲמָתִיu/va/cha/ma/TIand by my wrathוּבְאַפִּיu/ve/ap/PIand by my angerוְיִהְיוּve/yih/YUand shall beסִבְלוֹתֶיךָsiv/lo/te/KHAyour sufferingsקָשִׁיםka/SHIMsoreמַה־קָשִׁיםma-ka/SHIMhow soreלֹאlonotתֵדַעte/DAyou knowמַה־חַדִּיםma-chad/DIMhow exquisiteלֹאlonotתֵדַעte/DAyou knowאָכֵןa/KHENyeaמַה־כְּבֵדִיםma-ke/ve/DIMhow hardלָשֵׂאתla/SETto bearלֹאlonotתֵדָע׃te/DAyou know

    Therefore I command you to repent—repent, lest I smite you by the rod of my mouth, and by my wrath, and by my anger, and your sufferings be sore—how sore you know not, how exquisite you know not, yea, how hard to bear you know not.

    כִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodסָבַלְתִּיsa/val/TIsufferedאֶת־אֵלֶּהet-EL/lethese thingsבְּעַדbe/ADforכֻּלָּםkul/LAMallלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatלֹאlonotיִסְבְּלוּyis/be/LUthey might sufferאִםimifיָשׁוּבוּ׃ya/shu/VUthey would repent

    For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent;

17. 17

    אַךְakhbutאִםimifלֹאlonotיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vuthey would repentסָבֹלsa/VOLthey mustיִסְבְּלוּyis/be/LUsufferכָּמוֹנִי׃ka/mo/NIeven as I

    But if they would not repent they must suffer even as I;

    וְהַסֵּבֶלve/has/SE/velwhich sufferingהַהוּאha/HUthatהֱבִיאַנִיhe/vi/A/nicaused meאָנֹכִיa/no/KHImyselfאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMeven Godהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatestמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allלִרְעֹדlir/ODto trembleמִכְּאֵבmik/ke/EVbecause of painוְלָזוּבve/la/ZUVand to bleedדָּםdambloodמִכׇּל־נֶקֶבmik/KOL-NE/kevat every poreבִּבְשָׂרִיbiv/sa/RIin my fleshוְלִסְבֹּלve/lis/BOLand to sufferבַּגּוּףbag/GUFboth bodyוּבָרוּחַu/va/RU/achand spiritוְאָבִיתִיve/a/VI/tiand would thatלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TInotשְׁתוֹתshe/TOTI might drinkאֶת־הַכּוֹסet-hak/KOSthe cupהַמָּרָהham/ma/RAbitterוְאֶסּוֹג׃ve/es/SOGand shrink

    Which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit—and would that I might not drink the bitter cup, and shrink—

    אַךְakhneverthelessכָּבוֹדka/VODglory beלָאָבla/AVto the Fatherוָאֶשְׁתֶּהva/esh/TEand I partookוְכִלִּיתִיve/khil/LI/tiand finishedאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthat whichהֲכִינוֹתִיha/khi/NO/tiI preparedלִבְנֵיliv/NEunto the childrenהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMof men

    Nevertheless, glory be to the Father, and I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men.

20. 20

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommanding youאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amעוֹדodagainלָשׁוּבla/SHUVto repentפֶּןpenlestאַכְנִיעֲךָakh/ni/a/KHAI humble youבְּכֹחִיbe/kho/CHIwith my powerהַכַּבִּירhak/kab/BIRthe almightyוּלְהִתְוַדּוֹתu/le/hit/vad/DOTand that you confessעַל־חַטֹּאתֶיךָal-chat/to/te/KHAyour sinsפֶּןpenlestתִּסְבֹּלtis/BOLyou sufferאֶת־הָעֳנָשִׁיםet-ha/o/na/SHIMthe punishmentsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI spokeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatבַּקָּטֹןbak/ka/TONin the smallestבָּהֶםba/HEMof themאַףafyea evenבַּמְּעַטbam/me/ATin the least degreeטָעַמְתָּta/am/TAyou tastedבְּעֵתbe/ETat the timeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהֵסַרְתִּיhe/sar/TII withdrewאֶת־רוּחִיet-Ru/CHImy Spiritמִמְּךָ׃mim/me/KHAfrom you

    Wherefore, I command you again to repent, lest I humble you with my almighty power; and that you confess your sins, lest you suffer these punishments of which I have spoken, of which in the smallest, yea, even in the least degree you have tasted at the time I withdrew my Spirit.

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommand youלְהַטִּיףle/hat/TIFthat you preachרַקraknaught butתְּשׁוּבָהte/shu/VArepentanceוְאַל־תַּרְאֶהve/AL-tar/Eand show notאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלְתֵבֵלle/te/VELunto the worldעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִהְיֶהyih/YEit isחׇכְמָהchokh/MAwisdomבִּי׃biin me

    And I command you that you preach naught but repentance, and show not these things unto the world until it is wisdom in me.

22. 22

    כִּיkiforלֹאlonotיוּכְלוּyukh/LUthey canלָשֵׂאתla/SETbearבָּשָׂרba/SARmeatעַתָּהat/TAnowכִּיkibutחָלָבcha/LAVmilkעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMthey mustלְקַבֵּלle/kab/BELreceiveלָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeלֹאlonotיֵדְעוּyed/Uthey must knowאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםet-had/de/va/RIMthe thingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseפֶּןpenlestיֹאבֵדוּ׃yo/ve/DUthey perish

    For they cannot bear meat now, but milk they must receive; wherefore, they must not know these things, lest they perish.

23. 23

    לְמַדle/MADlearnמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/niof meוְהַאֲזֵןve/ha/a/ZENand listenלִדְבָרַיlid/va/RAYto my wordsהִתְהַלֵּךְhit/hal/LEKHwalkבְּעַנְוַתbe/an/VATin the meeknessרוּחִיRu/CHIof my Spiritוְיִהְיֶה־לְּךָve/yih/YE-le/KHAand you shall haveשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceבִּי׃biin me

    Learn of me, and listen to my words; walk in the meekness of my Spirit, and you shall have peace in me.

24. 24

    אֲנִיa/NIIיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aam JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristבָּאתִיBA/tiI cameבִּרְצוֹןbir/TSONby the willהָאָבha/AVof the Fatherוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iעוֹשֶׂהo/SEdoאֶת־רְצוֹנוֹ׃et-re/tso/NOhis will

    I am Jesus Christ; I came by the will of the Father, and I do his will.

25. 25

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommanding youאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amלֹאlothat you shall notתַחְמֹדtach/MODcovetאֵשֶׁתE/shetwifeרֵעֶךָre/E/khaof your neighborוְלֹאve/LOnorתְבַקֵּשׁte/vak/KESHseekאֶת־נֶפֶשׁet-NE/feshlifeרֵעֶךָ׃re/e/KHAof your neighbor

    And again, I command thee that thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife; nor seek thy neighbor's life.

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommanding youאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amלֹאlothat you shall notתַחְמֹדtach/MODcovetאֶת־קִנְיָנְךָet-kin/ya/ne/KHAyour own propertyכִּיkibutתִּתֵּןtit/TENimpartאֹתוֹo/TOitבִּנְדָבָהbin/da/VAfreelyלְהַדְפָּסַתle/had/pa/SATto the printingסֵפֶרSE/ferof the BookמוֹרְמוֹןMOR/monof Mormonאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבּוֹbocontainsהָאֱמֶתha/e/METthe truthוּדְבַרu/de/VARand the wordאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMof God

    And again, I command thee that thou shalt not covet thine own property, but impart it freely to the printing of the Book of Mormon, which contains the truth and the word of God—

    Which is my word to the Gentile, that soon it may go to the Jew, of whom the Lamanites are a remnant, that they may believe the gospel, and look not for a Messiah to come who has already come.

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommanding youאָנֹכִיa/no/KHII amלְהִתְפַּלֵּלle/hit/pal/LELthat you shall prayבְּקוֹלbe/KOLvocallyוְגַםve/GAMas well asבְּלִבְּךָbe/lib/be/KHAin your heartאָכֵןa/KHENyeaלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָעוֹלָםha/o/LAMthe worldוְגַםve/GAMas well asבַּסֵּתֶרbas/SE/terin secretבַּגָּלוּיbag/ga/LUYin publicוְגַםve/GAMas well asבְּחַדְרְךָ׃be/chad/re/KHAin private

    And again, I command thee that thou shalt pray vocally as well as in thy heart; yea, before the world as well as in secret, in public as well as in private.

    וְתַגִּידve/tag/GIDand you shall declareבְּשׂוֹרָהbe/so/RAtidingsטוֹבָהto/VAgladאָכֵןa/KHENyeaתַּשְׁמִיעֶנָּהtash/mi/en/NApublish itעַל־הֶהָרִיםal-he/ha/RIMupon the mountainsוְעַלve/ALand uponכׇּל־מָקוֹםkol-ma/KOMevery placeגָּבֹהַּga/VO/ahhighוּבְכׇל־עַםu/ve/KHOL-amand among every peopleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיֻתַּןyut/TANshall be givenלְךָle/KHAyouלִרְאוֹת׃lir/OTto see

    And thou shalt declare glad tidings, yea, publish it upon the mountains, and upon every high place, and among every people that thou shalt be permitted to see.

30. 30

    וְתַעֲשֶׂהve/ta/a/SEand you shall doזֹאתzotthisבְּכׇל־עֲנָוָהbe/KHOL-a/na/VAwith all humilityבֹּטֵחַbo/TE/achtrustingבִּיbiin meוְאַל־תְּחָרֵףve/AL-te/cha/REFreviling notאֶת־הַמְחָרְפִים׃et-ham/cha/re/FIMagainst revilers

    And thou shalt do it with all humility, trusting in me, reviling not against revilers.

31. 31

    וְעַלve/ALandדֵּעוֹתde/OTof tenetsאַלalyou shall notתְּדַבֵּרte/dab/BERtalkכִּיkibutתַּגִּידtag/GIDyou shall declareתְּשׁוּבָהte/shu/VArepentanceוֶאֱמוּנָהve/e/mu/NAand faithבַּמּוֹשִׁיעַbam/Mo/SHI/aon the Saviorוּסְלִיחַתu/se/li/CHATand remissionחֲטָאִיםcha/ta/IMof sinsבַּטְּבִילָהbat/te/vi/LAby baptismוּבָאֵשׁu/va/ESHand by fireאַףafyea evenבְּרוּחַ־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃be/RU/ach-hak/ko/DESHby the Holy Ghost

    And of tenets thou shalt not talk, but thou shalt declare repentance and faith on the Savior, and remission of sins by baptism, and by fire, yea, even the Holy Ghost.

32. 32

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdזֹאתzotthisמִצְוָהmits/VAa commandmentגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAgreatוְאַחֲרוֹנָהve/a/cha/ro/NAand lastאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֶתֵּןet/TENI shall giveלְךָle/KHAyouעַלalconcerningהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARmatterהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisכִּיkiforדַּיdaysufficientזֹאתzotthisלַהֲלִיכָתְךָla/ha/li/kha/te/KHAfor your walkיוֹם־יוֹםyom-yomday by dayעַד־קֵץad-ketseven unto the endיָמֶיךָ׃ya/me/KHAof your life

    Behold, this is a great and the last commandment which I shall give unto you concerning this matter; for this shall suffice for thy daily walk, even unto the end of thy life.

    וְיָגוֹןve/ya/GONand miseryתְּקַבֵּלte/kab/BELyou shall receiveאִםimifתָּקֵלta/KELyou will slightבָּעֵצוֹתba/e/TSOTthe counselsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאַףafyea evenאׇבְדַןov/DANthe destructionנַפְשְׁךָnaf/she/KHAof yourselfוְקִנְיָנֶךָ׃ve/kin/ya/ne/KHAand your property

    And misery thou shalt receive if thou wilt slight these counsels, yea, even the destruction of thyself and property.

34. 34

    תֵּןtenimpartחֵלֶקCHE/leka portionמִקִּנְיָנְךָmik/kin/ya/ne/KHAof your propertyאַףafyea evenחֵלֶקCHE/lekpartמֵאַדְמֹתֶיךָme/ad/mo/te/KHAof your landsוְאֶת־הַכֹּלve/ET-hak/KOLand allזוּלַתzu/LATsaveמִחְיַתmich/YATthe supportבֵּיתֶךָ׃be/te/KHAof your family

    Impart a portion of thy property, yea, even part of thy lands, and all save the support of thy family.

35. 35

    שַׁלֵּםshal/LEMpayאֶת־הַחוֹבet-ha/CHOVthe debtאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחָלchalis incurredעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youעִםimwithהַמַּדְפִּיסham/mad/PISthe printerוְצֵאve/TSEand go outלַחׇפְשִׁיla/chof/SHIfreeמִן־הָעֲבֻדָּה׃min-ha/a/vud/DAfrom bondage

    Pay the debt thou hast contracted with the printer. Release thyself from bondage.

36. 36

    עֲזֹבa/ZOVleaveאֶת־בֵּיתְךָet-be/te/KHAyour houseוְאֶת־מְעוֹנֶךָve/ET-me/o/NE/khaand homeזוּלָתִיzu/la/TIexceptבְּעֵתbe/ETwhenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתַּחְפֹּץtach/POTSyou shall desireלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe childrenבֵיתֶךָ׃ve/te/KHAof your house

    Leave thy house and home, except when thou shalt desire to see thy family;

37. 37

    וְדַבֵּרve/dab/BERand speakבִּנְדָבָהbin/da/VAfreelyאֶל־כֹּלel-kolto allאָכֵןa/KHENyeaהַטֵּףhat/TEFpreachהוֹכַחho/KHACHexhortהַגֵּדhag/GEDdeclareאֱמֶתe/METthe truthבְּקוֹלbe/KOLeven with a voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLloudבְּקוֹלbe/KOLwith a soundרִנָּהrin/NAof rejoicingלֵאמֹרle/MORcryingהוֹשַׁע־נָאHo/SHA-naHosannaהוֹשַׁע־נָאho/SHA-nahosannaבָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessed beשֵׁםshemthe nameיְהוָהAdonaiof the Lordאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    And speak freely to all; yea, preach, exhort, declare the truth, even with a loud voice, with a sound of rejoicing, crying—Hosanna, hosanna, blessed be the name of the Lord God!

    הִתְפַּלֵּלhit/pal/LELprayתָּמִידta/MIDalwaysוְאֶשְׁפֹּךְve/esh/POKHand I will pour outאֶת־רוּחִיet-Ru/CHImy Spiritעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youוּגְדוֹלָהu/ge/do/LAand greatתִהְיֶהtih/YEshall beבִּרְכָתֶךָbir/kha/TE/khayour blessingאַףafyea evenיוֹתֵרyo/TERmoreמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERthan ifתַּשִּׂיגtas/SIGyou should obtainאוֹצְרוֹתots/ROTtreasuresאֶרֶץE/retsof earthוְכׇל־הַכָּלֶהve/KHOL-hak/ka/LEand corruptiblenessבָּהּ׃bato the extent thereof

    Pray always, and I will pour out my Spirit upon you, and great shall be your blessing—yea, even more than if you should obtain treasures of earth and corruptibleness to the extent thereof.

39. 39

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהֲתוּכַלha/tu/KHALcan youלִקְרֹאlik/ROreadזֹאתzotthisבְּלִיbe/LIwithoutשָׂשׂוֹןsa/SONrejoicingוּבְלִיu/ve/LIand withoutשְׂאֵתse/ETlifting upלִבְּךָlib/be/KHAyour heartלְשִׂמְחָה׃le/sim/CHAfor gladness

    Behold, canst thou read this without rejoicing and lifting up thy heart for gladness?

40. 40

    אוֹoorהֲתוּכַלha/tu/KHALcan youעוֹדodlongerלָרוּץla/RUTSrun aboutכְּמַדְרִיךְke/mad/RIKHas a guideעִוֵּר׃iv/VERblind

    Or canst thou run about longer as a blind guide?

41. 41

    אוֹoorהֲתוּכַלha/tu/KHALcan youלְהִכָּנַעle/hik/ka/NAbe humbleוְלִהְיוֹתve/lih/YOTand to beעָנָוa/NAVmeekוּלְהַשְׂכִּילu/le/has/KILand conduct yourself wiselyלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meאָכֵןa/KHENyeaבֹּאbocomeאֵלַיe/LAYunto meמוֹשִׁיעֶךָMo/shi/E/khayour Saviorאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    Or canst thou be humble and meek, and conduct thyself wisely before me? Yea, come unto me thy Savior. Amen.
