Verily, thus saith the Lord, I require all their surplus property to be put into the hands of the bishop of my church in Zion,

לִבְנוֹתliv/NOTfor the buildingאֶת־בֵּיתִיet-be/TIof my houseוּלְיַסֵּדu/le/yas/SEDand for the layingיְסוֹדye/SODof the foundationצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionוְלַכְּהֻנָּהve/lak/ke/hun/NAand for the priesthoodוּלְחוֹבוֹתu/le/cho/VOTand for the debtsנְשִׂיאוּתNe/si/UTof the Presidencyכְּנֵסִיָּתִי׃ke/Ne/siy/ya/TIof my Church
For the building of mine house, and for the laying of the foundation of Zion and for the priesthood, and for the debts of the Presidency of my Church.

וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe beginningמַעֲשַׂרma/a/SARof the tithingעַמִּי׃am/MIof my people
And this shall be the beginning of the tithing of my people.

וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterכֵןkhenthatהַמְעֻשָּׂרִיםham/us/sa/RIMthose who have thus been tithedיִתְּנוּyit/te/NUshall payאֶחָדe/CHADoneמֵעֲשָׂרָהme/a/sa/RAtenthמִכׇּל־תְּבוּאָתָםmik/KOL-te/vu/a/TAMof all their interestשָׁנָהsha/NAyearבְשָׁנָהve/sha/NAby yearוְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beלָהֶםla/HEMunto themלְחֻקַּתle/chuk/KATa standing lawעוֹלָםo/LAMforeverלִכְהֻנָּתִיlikh/hun/na/TIfor my priesthoodהַקְּדוֹשָׁהhak/ke/do/SHAholyנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord
And after that, those who have thus been tithed shall pay one-tenth of all their interest annually; and this shall be a standing law unto them forever, for my holy priesthood, saith the Lord.

אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youיִהְיֶהyih/YEit shall beכִּיkithatכׇּל־הַנֶּאֱסָפִיםkol-han/ne/e/sa/FIMall those who gatherאֶל־אֶרֶץel-E/retsunto the landצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionיְעֻשְּׂרוּye/us/se/RUshall be tithedמֵעֹדֶףme/O/defof surplusנִכְסֵיהֶםnikh/se/HEMtheir propertiesוְיִשְׁמְרוּve/yish/me/RUand shall observeאֶת־הַחֹקet-ha/CHOKlawהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאוֹoorלֹאlonotיִמָּצְאוּyim/ma/tse/Uthey shall be foundרְאוּיִיםre/u/YIMworthyלָשֶׁבֶתla/SHE/vetto abideבְּקִרְבְּכֶם׃be/kir/be/KHEMamong you
Verily I say unto you, it shall come to pass that all those who gather unto the land of Zion shall be tithed of their surplus properties, and shall observe this law, or they shall not be found worthy to abide among you.

וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youאִםimifלֹאlonotיִשְׁמֹרyish/MORobserveעַמִּיam/MImy peopleאֶת־הַחֹקet-ha/CHOKlawהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְקַדְּשׁוֹle/kad/de/SHOto keep it holyוּלְקַדֵּשׁu/le/kad/DESHand sanctifyבּוֹboby itאֶת־אֶרֶץet-E/retsthe landצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionלִיliunto meלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִשָּׁמְרוּyish/sha/me/RUmay be keptחֻקֹּתַיchuk/ko/TAYmy statutesוּמִשְׁפָּטַיu/mish/pa/TAYand my judgmentsעָלֶיהָa/LE/hathereonלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTthat it may beקֹדֶשׁKO/deshmostקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholyהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youלֹאlonotתִּהְיֶהtih/YEit shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youלְאֶרֶץle/E/retsa landצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONof Zion
And I say unto you, if my people observe not this law, to keep it holy, and by this law sanctify the land of Zion unto me, that my statutes and my judgments may be kept thereon, that it may be most holy, behold, verily I say unto you, it shall not be a land of Zion unto you.

וְזֹאתve/ZOTand thisתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beלְמוֹפֵתle/mo/FETan ensampleלְכׇל־יְתֵדוֹתle/KHOL-ye/te/DOTunto all the stakesצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionכֵּןkeneven soאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen
And this shall be an ensample unto all the stakes of Zion. Even so. Amen.
