   Verily thus saith the Lord unto you, my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and also my servant Sidney Rigdon, and also my servant Hyrum Smith, and your counselors who are and shall be appointed hereafter;

   וְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMunto youעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantאֶדְוָרְדEd/VARDEdwardפַּרְטְרִיג׳Par/te/RIGPartridgeוְיֹעֲצָיו׃ve/yo/a/TSAYVand his counselors

   And also unto you, my servant Edward Partridge, and his counselors;

   וְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֶל־עֲבָדַיel-a/va/DAYunto my servantsהַנֶּאֱמָנִיםhan/ne/e/ma/NIMfaithfulאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoבְּסַנְהֶדְרִיןbe/san/hed/RINare of the high councilכְּנֵסִיָּתִיke/ne/siy/ya/TIof my churchבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONin Zionכִּיkiforכֹּהkothusיִקָּרֵאyik/ka/REit shall be calledוְאֶל־כׇּל־הַזְּקֵנִיםve/EL-kol-haz/ze/ke/NIMand unto all the eldersוְעַםve/AMand peopleכְּנֵסִיַּתke/Ne/siy/YATof the ChurchיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aof JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristשֶׁלshelofקְדוֹשֵׁיKe/do/SHESaintsאַחֲרִיתA/cha/RITof the Latterהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMdaysהַנְּפוֹצִיםhan/ne/fo/TSIMscatteredבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץ׃be/KHOL-ha/a/RETSabroad in all the world

   And also unto my faithful servants who are of the high council of my church in Zion, for thus it shall be called, and unto all the elders and people of my Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, scattered abroad in all the world;

   כִּיkiforכֹּהkothusתִּקָּרֵאtik/ka/REshall be calledכְּנֵסִיָּתִיke/ne/siy/ya/TImy churchבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the lastהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMdaysגַּםgamevenכְּנֵסִיַּתke/Ne/siy/YATthe ChurchיֵשׁוּעַYe/SHU/aof JesusהַמָּשִׁיחַHam/ma/SHI/achChristשֶׁלshelofקְדוֹשֵׁיKe/do/SHESaintsאַחֲרִיתA/cha/RITof the Latterהַיָּמִים׃hay/ya/MIMdays

   For thus shall my church be called in the last days, even The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

   אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלְכֻלְּכֶםle/khul/le/KHEMunto you allקוּמִיKU/miariseאוֹרִיO/rishine forthכִּיkithatאוֹרֵךְo/REKHyour lightיִהְיֶהyih/YEmay beלְנֵסle/NESa standardלַגּוֹיִם׃lag/go/YIMfor the nations

   Verily I say unto you all: Arise and shine forth, that thy light may be a standard for the nations;

   וְהִקָּבֵץve/hik/ka/VETSand that the gathering togetherעַל־אֶרֶץal-E/retsupon the landצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONof Zionוְעַלve/ALand uponיְתֵדוֹתֶיהָye/te/do/te/HAher stakesיִהְיֶהyih/YEmay beלְמָעוֹזle/ma/OZfor a defenseוּלְמַחְסֶהu/le/mach/SEand for a refugeמִזֶּרֶםmiz/ZE/remfrom the stormוּמֵחֵמָהu/me/che/MAand from wrathאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenתִּשָּׁפֵךְtish/sha/FEKHit shall be poured outבְּלֹא־מֶזֶגbe/LO-ME/zegwithout mixtureעַלaluponכׇּל־הָאָרֶץ׃kol-ha/a/RETSthe whole earth

   And that the gathering together upon the land of Zion, and upon her stakes, may be for a defense, and for a refuge from the storm, and from wrath when it shall be poured out without mixture upon the whole earth.

   תְּהִיte/HIlet beהָעִירha/IRthe cityפַּרParFarוֶסְטVestWestאֶרֶץE/retslandקֹדֶשׁKO/desha holyוּמֻקְדֶּשֶׁתu/muk/DE/shetand consecratedלִיliunto meוְתִקָּרֵאve/tik/ka/REand it shall be calledקֹדֶשׁKO/deshmostקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholyכִּיkiforהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe groundאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereonאַתָּהat/TAyouעֹמֵדo/MEDstandעָלֶיהָa/LE/hauponקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyהִיא׃hiis

   Let the city, Far West, be a holy and consecrated land unto me; and it shall be called most holy, for the ground upon which thou standest is holy.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֲנִיa/NIIמְצַוֶּהme/tsav/VEcommandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildלִיliunto meבַּיִתBA/yita houseלְקִבּוּץle/kib/BUTSfor the gathering togetherקְדוֹשַׁיke/do/SHAYof my saintsלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיַעַבְדוּנִי׃ya/av/du/NIthey may worship me

   Therefore, I command you to build a house unto me, for the gathering together of my saints, that they may worship me.

   וּתְהִיu/te/HIand let there beרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITa beginningהַמְּלָאכָהham/me/la/KHAof workהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוִיסוֹדָהּvi/so/DAand a foundationוַעֲבוֹדָהva/a/vo/DAand a workלְהָכִיןle/ha/KHINpreparatoryבַּקַּיִץbak/KA/yitssummerהַבָּא׃hab/BAthis following

   And let there be a beginning of this work, and a foundation, and a preparatory work, this following summer;

10. 10

    וְתֵחֵלve/te/CHELand let the beginning be madeבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהָרְבִיעִיha/re/vi/Ifourthלְיוּלִיle/Yu/LIof Julyהַבָּאhab/BAnextוּמֵהָעֵתu/me/ha/ETand from timeהַהִיאha/HIthatוָהָלְאָהva/HAL/aforthיַעֲמֹלya/a/MOLlet laborעַמִּיam/MImy peopleבַּחֲרִיצוּתba/cha/ri/TSUTdiligentlyלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildבַּיִתBA/yita houseלִשְׁמִי׃lish/MIunto my name

    And let the beginning be made on the fourth day of July next; and from that time forth let my people labor diligently to build a house unto my name;

    וּבְשָׁנָהu/ve/sha/NAand in yearאַחַתa/CHAToneמֵהַיּוֹםme/hay/YOMfrom dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vulet them re-commenceלְהָחֵלle/ha/CHELto beginלְיַסֵּדle/yas/SEDlayingיְסוֹדye/SODthe foundationבֵּיתִי׃be/TIof my house

    And in one year from this day let them re-commence laying the foundation of my house.

12. 12

    כָּכָהKA/khathusיַעַמְלוּya/am/LUlet them laborוּמֵהָעֵתu/me/ha/ETfrom timeהַהִיאha/HIthatוָהָלְאָהva/HAL/aforthבַּחֲרִיצוּתba/cha/ri/TSUTdiligentlyעַדaduntilכְּלֹתוֹke/lo/TOit shall be finishedמֵאֶבֶןme/E/venfrom the cornerstoneפִּנָּתוֹpin/na/TOthereofוְעַדve/ADuntoרֹאשׁוֹro/SHOthe top thereofעַד־אֲשֶׁרad-a/SHERuntilלֹאlonotיִשָּׁאֵרyish/sha/ERthere shall remainדָּבָרda/VARanythingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotנִשְׁלַם׃nish/LAMis finished

    Thus let them from that time forth labor diligently until it shall be finished, from the cornerstone thereof unto the top thereof, until there shall not anything remain that is not finished.

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youאַל־יִלְוֶהal-yil/VElet not get in debtעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephוְלֹאve/LOneitherעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantסִידְנִיSi/de/NISidneyוְלֹאve/LOneitherעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantחִירָםChi/RAMHyrumעוֹדodany moreלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTfor the buildingבַּיִתBA/yitof a houseלִשְׁמִי׃lish/MIunto my name

    Verily I say unto you, let not my servant Joseph, neither my servant Sidney, neither my servant Hyrum, get in debt any more for the building of a house unto my name;

14. 14

    אַךְakhbutיִבָּנֶהyib/ba/NElet be builtבַּיִתBA/yita houseלִשְׁמִיlish/MIunto my nameכְּתַבְנִיתke/tav/NITaccording to the patternאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַרְאֶהar/EI will showאֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    But let a house be built unto my name according to the pattern which I will show unto them.

15. 15

    וְאִםve/IMand ifלֹאlonotיִבְנוּהוּyiv/nu/HUbuild itעַמִּיam/MImy peopleכְּתַבְנִיתke/tav/NITaccording to the patternאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַרְאֶהar/EI shall showאֶת־נְשִׂיאוּתָםet-ne/si/u/TAMunto their presidencyלֹאlonotאֲקַבְּלֶנּוּa/kab/be/len/NUI will accept itמִיְּדֵיהֶם׃miy/ye/de/HEMat their hands

    And if my people build it not according to the pattern which I shall show unto their presidency, I will not accept it at their hands.

16. 16

    וְאִםve/IMbut ifיִבְנוּהוּyiv/nu/HUdo build itעַמִּיam/MImy peopleכְּתַבְנִיתke/tav/NITaccording to the patternאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַרְאֶהar/EI shall showאֶת־נְשִׂיאוּתָםet-ne/si/u/TAMunto their presidencyגַּםgamevenעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephוְיֹעֲצָיוve/yo/a/TSAYVand his counselorsאָזazthenאֲקַבְּלֶנּוּa/kab/be/len/NUI will accept itמִיְּדֵיmiy/ye/DEat the handsעַמִּי׃am/MIof my people

    But if my people do build it according to the pattern which I shall show unto their presidency, even my servant Joseph and his counselors, then I will accept it at the hands of my people.

17. 17

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֲנִיa/NIIאֹמֵרo/MERsayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youרְצוֹנִיre/tso/NIit is my willאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּבָּנֶהtib/ba/NEshould be built upעִירirthe cityפַּרParof FarוֶסְטVestWestמְהֵרָהme/he/RAspeedilyבְּהִקָּבֵץbe/hik/ka/VETSby the gatheringקְדוֹשַׁי׃ke/do/SHAYof my saints

    And again, verily I say unto you, it is my will that the city of Far West should be built up speedily by the gathering of my saints;

18. 18

    וְגַםve/GAMand alsoיִמָּנוּyim/ma/NUthat should be appointedמְקוֹמוֹתme/ko/MOTplacesאֲחֵרִיםa/che/RIMotherלִיתֵדוֹתli/te/DOTfor stakesבַּסְּבִיבוֹתbas/se/vi/VOTin the regions round aboutכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיִגָּלוּyig/ga/LUthey shall be manifestedלְעַבְדִּיle/av/DIunto my servantיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephמֵעֵתme/ETfrom timeאֶל־עֵת׃el-etto time

    And also that other places should be appointed for stakes in the regions round about, as they shall be manifested unto my servant Joseph, from time to time.

19. 19

    כִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֶהְיֶהeh/YEI will beעִמּוֹim/MOwith himוַאֲקַדְּשֶׁנּוּva/a/kad/de/shen/NUand I will sanctify himלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָעָםha/AMthe peopleכִּיkiforלוֹlounto himנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tihave I givenמַפְתְּחוֹתmaf/te/CHOTthe keysהַמַּלְכוּתham/mal/KHUTof kingdomהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְהָעֲבוֹדָהve/ha/a/vo/DAand ministryהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisכֵּןkeneven soאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    For behold, I will be with him, and I will sanctify him before the people; for unto him have I given the keys of this kingdom and ministry. Even so. Amen.
