   Verily thus saith the Lord unto you my servant Thomas: I have heard thy prayers; and thine alms have come up as a memorial before me, in behalf of those, thy brethren, who were chosen to bear testimony of my name and to send it abroad among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, and ordained through the instrumentality of my servants.

   Verily I say unto you, there have been some few things in thine heart and with thee with which I, the Lord, was not well pleased.

   אַךְakhneverthelessכְּפִיke/FIinasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasהִשְׁפַּלְתָּhish/pal/TAyou abasedאֶת־נַפְשְׁךָet-naf/she/KHAyourselfתְּרוֹמָםte/ro/MAMyou shall be exaltedלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeנִסְלְחוּnis/le/CHUare forgivenלְךָle/KHAyouכׇּל־חַטֹּאתֶיךָ׃kol-chat/to/te/KHAall your sins

   Nevertheless, inasmuch as thou hast abased thyself thou shalt be exalted; therefore, all thy sins are forgiven thee.

   Let thy heart be of good cheer before my face; and thou shalt bear record of my name, not only unto the Gentiles, but also unto the Jews; and thou shalt send forth my word unto the ends of the earth.

   Contend thou, therefore, morning by morning; and day after day let thy warning voice go forth; and when the night cometh let not the inhabitants of the earth slumber, because of thy speech.

   יִוָּדַעyiv/va/DAlet be knownמוֹשָׁבְךָmo/sha/ve/KHAyour habitationבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONin Zionוְאַלve/ALand notתָּסִירta/SIRremoveאֶת־בֵּיתֶךָet-be/TE/khayour houseכִּיkiforיֶשׁ־לִיyesh-lihaveאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordמְלָאכָהme/la/KHAworkגְדוֹלָהge/do/LAa greatלְךָle/KHAfor youלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doבְּסַפֵּרbe/sap/PERin publishingשְׁמִיshe/MImy nameבִּבְנֵיbiv/NEamong the childrenאָדָם׃a/DAMof men

   Let thy habitation be known in Zion, and remove not thy house; for I, the Lord, have a great work for thee to do, in publishing my name among the children of men.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֱזֹרe/ZORgird upמׇתְנֶיךָmot/NE/khayour loinsלַמְּלָאכָהlam/me/la/KHAfor the workוְהַנְעֵלve/han/ELlet be shodרַגְלֶיךָrag/LE/khayour feetגַּםgamalsoכִּיkiforנִבְחַרְתָּniv/char/TAyou are chosenוְדַרְכְּךָve/dar/ke/KHAand your path liesבֶּהָרִיםbe/ha/RIMamong the mountainsוּבְגוֹיִםu/ve/go/YIMand among nationsרַבִּים׃rab/BIMmany

   Therefore, gird up thy loins for the work. Let thy feet be shod also, for thou art chosen, and thy path lieth among the mountains, and among many nations.

   וּבִדְבָרְךָu/vid/va/re/KHAand by your wordגְּבֹהִיםge/vo/HIMhigh onesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyיֻשְׁפָּלוּyush/pa/LUshall be brought lowוּבִדְבָרְךָu/vid/va/re/KHAand by your wordשְׁפָלִיםshe/fa/LIMlow onesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyיְרוֹמָמוּ׃ye/ro/ma/MUshall be exalted

   And by thy word many high ones shall be brought low, and by thy word many low ones shall be exalted.

   יִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beקוֹלְךָkol/KHAyour voiceתּוֹכַחַתto/KHA/chata rebukeלַפּוֹשֵׁעַlap/po/SHE/aunto the transgressorוּבְגַעֲרָתְךָu/ve/ga/a/ra/te/KHAand at your rebukeתֶּחְדַּלtech/DALlet ceaseלְשׁוֹןle/SHONthe tongueהַמּוֹצִיאham/mo/TSIof he that uttersדִבָּהdib/BAslanderמֵעִקְּשׁוּתוֹ׃me/ik/ke/shu/TOfrom its perverseness

   Thy voice shall be a rebuke unto the transgressor; and at thy rebuke let the tongue of the slanderer cease its perverseness.

    הֱיֵהhe/YEbeעָנָוa/NAVhumbleוַיהוָהve-Adonaiand the Lordאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godיוֹלִיכְךָyo/li/khe/KHAshall lead youבְּיָדֶךָbe/ya/DE/khaby the handוְיִתֶּןve/yit/TENand giveלְךָle/KHAyouמַעֲנֶהma/a/NEanswerלִתְפִלּוֹתֶיךָ׃lit/fil/lo/te/KHAto your prayers

    Be thou humble; and the Lord thy God shall lead thee by the hand, and give thee answer to thy prayers.

    I know thy heart, and have heard thy prayers concerning thy brethren. Be not partial towards them in love above many others, but let thy love be for them as for thyself; and let thy love abound unto all men, and unto all who love my name.

    וְהִתְפַּלֵּלve/hit/pal/LELand prayבְּעַדbe/ADforאַחֶיךָa/CHE/khayour brethrenהַשְּׁנֵים־עָשָׂרhash/She/NEM-a/SARof the Twelveהוֹכַחho/KHACHadmonishאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּחֹזֶקbe/CHO/zeksharplyלְמַעַןle/MA/anfor the sake ofשְׁמִיshe/MImy nameוְיִוָּכְחוּve/yiv/va/khe/CHUand let them be admonishedעַלalforכׇּל־חַטֹּאתֵיהֶםkol-chat/to/te/HEMall their sinsוִהְיוּvih/YUand beנֶאֱמָנִיםne/e/ma/NIMfaithfulלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meלִשְׁמִי׃lish/MIunto my name

    And pray for thy brethren of the Twelve. Admonish them sharply for my name's sake, and let them be admonished for all their sins, and be ye faithful before me unto my name.

    וְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterנִסְיוֹנוֹתֵיהֶםnis/yo/no/te/HEMtheir temptationsוְצָרָהve/tsa/RAand tribulationרַבָּהrab/BAmuchהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe Lordאֲמַשֵּׁשׁa/mash/SHESHwill feelאַחֲרֵיהֶםa/cha/re/HEMafter themוְאִםve/IMand ifלֹאlonotיַקְשׁוּyak/SHUthey hardenאֶת־לִבָּםet-lib/BAMtheir heartsוְלֹאve/LOand notיַקְשׁוּyak/SHUstiffenאֶת־עׇרְפָּםet-or/PAMtheir necksנֶגְדִּיneg/DIagainst meיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vuthey shall be convertedוְאֶרְפָּאֵם׃ve/er/pa/EMand I will heal them

    And after their temptations, and much tribulation, behold, I, the Lord, will feel after them, and if they harden not their hearts, and stiffen not their necks against me, they shall be converted, and I will heal them.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAnowאֹמַרo/MARI sayלְךָle/KHAunto youוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whatאֹמַרo/MARI sayלְךָle/KHAunto youאֹמַרo/MARI sayלְכׇל־הַשְּׁנֵים־עָשָׂרle/KHOL-hash/she/NEM-a/SARunto all the TwelveקוּמוּKU/muariseוְאִזְרוּve/iz/RUand gird upמׇתְנֵיכֶםmot/ne/KHEMyour loinsשְׂאוּse/Utake upאֶת־צְלַבְכֶםet-tse/lav/KHEMyour crossלְכוּle/KHUfollowאַחֲרַיa/cha/RAYmeוּרְעוּu/re/Uand feedאֶת־צֹאנִי׃et-tso/NImy sheep

    Now, I say unto you, and what I say unto you, I say unto all the Twelve: Arise and gird up your loins, take up your cross, follow me, and feed my sheep.

    Exalt not yourselves; rebel not against my servant Joseph; for verily I say unto you, I am with him, and my hand shall be over him; and the keys which I have given unto him, and also to youward, shall not be taken from him till I come.

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמַרo/MARI sayלְךָle/KHAunto youעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantתּוֹמָסTo/MASThomasאַתָּהat/TAyou areהָאִישׁha/ISHthe manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomבָּחַרְתִּיba/CHAR/tiI choseלָשֵׂאתla/SETto holdמַפְתְּחוֹתmaf/te/CHOTthe keysמַלְכוּתִיmal/khu/TIof my kingdomאֲשֶׁרa/SHERas pertainingלַשְּׁנֵים־עָשָׂרlash/She/NEM-a/SARto the Twelveבְּכׇל־הַגּוֹיִם׃be/KHOL-hag/go/YIMabroad among all nations

    Verily I say unto you, my servant Thomas, thou art the man whom I have chosen to hold the keys of my kingdom, as pertaining to the Twelve, abroad among all nations—

17. 17

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתִּהְיֶהtih/YEyou may beעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantלִפְתֹּחַlif/TO/achto unlockדֶּלֶתDE/letthe doorהַמַּלְכוּתham/mal/KHUTof the kingdomבְּכׇל־מָקוֹםbe/KHOL-ma/KOMin all placesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereלֹאlonotיוּכְלוּyukh/LUcanעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephוְעַבְדִּיve/av/DIand my servantסִידְנִיSi/de/NISidneyוְעַבְדִּיve/av/DIand my servantחִירָםChi/RAMHyrumלָבוֹא׃la/VOcome

    That thou mayest be my servant to unlock the door of the kingdom in all places where my servant Joseph, and my servant Sidney, and my servant Hyrum, cannot come;

18. 18

    כִּיkiforעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themהֵטַלְתִּיhe/tal/TIhave I laidמַשָּׂאmas/SAthe burdenכׇּל־הַכְּנֵסִיּוֹתkol-hak/ke/ne/siy/YOTof all the churchesלַמִּצְעָר׃lam/mits/ARfor a little season

    For on them have I laid the burden of all the churches for a little season.

    לָכֵןla/KHENwhereforeבְּכׇל־אֲשֶׁרbe/KHOL-a/SHERwhithersoeverיִשְׁלָחוּכֶםyish/la/chu/KHEMthey shall send youלְכוּle/KHUgoוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֶהְיֶהeh/YEwill beעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youוּבְכׇל־מָקוֹםu/ve/KHOL-ma/KOMand in whatsoever placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּקְרְאוּtik/re/Uyou shall proclaimבִשְׁמִיvish/MImy nameיִפָּתַחyip/PA/tachshall be openedלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youפֶּתַחPE/tacha doorמוֹעִילmo/ILeffectualלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיְקַבְּלוּye/kab/be/LUthey may receiveדְּבָרִי׃de/va/RImy word

    Wherefore, whithersoever they shall send you, go ye, and I will be with you; and in whatsoever place ye shall proclaim my name an effectual door shall be opened unto you, that they may receive my word.

    Whosoever receiveth my word receiveth me, and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth those, the First Presidency, whom I have sent, whom I have made counselors for my name's sake unto you.

    וְעוֹדve/ODand againאֹמַרo/MARI sayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERthat whosoeverתִּשְׁלְחוּtish/le/CHUyou shall sendבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameבְּקוֹלbe/KOLby the voiceאֲחֵיכֶםa/che/KHEMof your brethrenהַשְּׁנֵים־עָשָׂרhash/She/NEM-a/SARthe Twelveכַּמִּשְׁפָּטkam/mish/PATdulyמֻמְלָצִיםmum/la/TSIMrecommendedוּמֻרְשִׁיםu/mur/SHIMand authorizedעַל־יֶדְכֶםal-yed/KHEMby youיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall haveלָהֶםla/HEMto themכֹּחַKO/achpowerלִפְתֹּחַlif/TO/achto openדֶּלֶתDE/letthe doorמַלְכוּתִיmal/khu/TIof my kingdomלְכׇל־גּוֹיle/KHOL-goyunto any nationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhithersoeverתִּשְׁלָחוּם׃tish/la/CHUMyou shall send them

    And again, I say unto you, that whosoever ye shall send in my name, by the voice of your brethren, the Twelve, duly recommended and authorized by you, shall have power to open the door of my kingdom unto any nation whithersoever ye shall send them—

    כְּפִיke/FIinasmuchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERasיַשְׁפִּילוּyash/pi/LUthey shall humbleאֶת־נַפְשָׁםet-naf/SHAMthemselvesלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meוְיִשְׁמְרוּve/yish/me/RUand abide inדְבָרִיde/va/RImy wordוְיִשְׁמְעוּve/yish/me/Uand hearkenלְקוֹלle/KOLto the voiceרוּחִי׃Ru/CHIof my Spirit

    Inasmuch as they shall humble themselves before me, and abide in my word, and hearken to the voice of my Spirit.

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמַרo/MARI sayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youחֹשֶׁךְCHO/shekhdarknessכִּסָּהkis/SAcoversאֶרֶץE/retsthe earthוַעֲרָפֶלva/a/ra/FELand darknessכָּבֵדka/VEDgrossדַּעַתDA/atthe mindsהָעַמִּיםha/am/MIMof the peopleוְכׇל־בָּשָׂרve/KHOL-ba/SARand all fleshהִשְׁחִיתhish/CHITcorruptedאֶת־דַּרְכּוֹet-dar/KOhis wayלְפָנָי׃le/fa/NAYbefore my face

    Verily, verily, I say unto you, darkness covereth the earth, and gross darkness the minds of the people, and all flesh has become corrupt before my face.

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdנָקָםna/KAMvengeanceבָּאbacomesמְהֵרָהme/he/RAspeedilyעַלaluponיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitantsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthיוֹםyoma dayעֶבְרָהev/RAof wrathיוֹםyoma dayבְּעֵרָהbe/e/RAof burningיוֹםyoma dayשְׁמָמָהshe/ma/MAof desolationבְּכִיbe/KHIof weepingוּמִסְפֵּדu/mis/PEDof mourningוּנְהִיu/ne/HIand of lamentationוְכַסּוּפָהve/khas/su/FAand as a whirlwindיָבוֹאya/VOit shall comeעַלaluponכׇּל־פְּנֵיkol-pe/NEall the faceהָאָרֶץha/A/retsof the earthנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord

    Behold, vengeance cometh speedily upon the inhabitants of the earth, a day of wrath, a day of burning, a day of desolation, of weeping, of mourning, and of lamentation; and as a whirlwind it shall come upon all the face of the earth, saith the Lord.

    וְעַל־בֵּיתִיve/AL-be/TIand upon my houseיָחֵלya/CHELshall it beginוּמִבֵּיתִיu/mib/be/TIand from my houseיֵצֵאye/TSEshall it go forthנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord

    And upon my house shall it begin, and from my house shall it go forth, saith the Lord;

    First among those among you, saith the Lord, who have professed to know my name and have not known me, and have blasphemed against me in the midst of my house, saith the Lord.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeרְאוּre/Usee to itפֶּןpenlestתַּלְאוּtal/Uyou troubleאֶת־נַפְשְׁכֶםet-naf/she/KHEMyourselvesבְּעִנְיְנֵיbe/in/ye/NEconcerning the affairsכְּנֵסִיָּתִיke/ne/siy/ya/TIof my churchבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisנְאֻםne/UMsaysיְהוָה׃Adonaithe Lord

    Therefore, see to it that ye trouble not yourselves concerning the affairs of my church in this place, saith the Lord.

    כִּי־אִםki-imbutטַהֲרוּta/ha/RUpurifyלְבַבְכֶםle/vav/KHEMyour heartsלְפָנָיle/fa/NAYbefore meוְאָזve/AZand thenלְכוּle/KHUgoבְּכׇל־הָעוֹלָםbe/KHOL-ha/o/LAMinto all the worldוְהַטִּיפוּve/hat/ti/FUand preachבְּשׂוֹרָתִיbe/so/ra/TImy gospelלְכׇל־בְּרִיָּהle/KHOL-be/riy/YAunto every creatureאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹאlonotקִבְּלָהּ׃kib/be/LAreceived it

    But purify your hearts before me; and then go ye into all the world, and preach my gospel unto every creature who has not received it;

29. 29

    וְהַמַּאֲמִיןve/ham/ma/a/MINand he that believesוְהַנִּטְבָּלve/han/nit/BALand is baptizedיִוָּשֵׁעַyiv/va/SHE/ashall be savedוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he thatלֹאlonotיַאֲמִיןya/a/MINbelievesוְלֹאve/LOand notיִטָּבֵלyit/ta/VELis baptizedיֶאְשָׁם׃ye/SHAMshall be damned

    And he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and he that believeth not, and is not baptized, shall be damned.

30. 30

    כִּיkiforלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youהַשְּׁנֵים־עָשָׂרhash/She/NEM-a/SARthe Twelveוְלָאֵלֶּהve/la/EL/leand thoseהַנְּשִׂיאוּתhan/Ne/si/UTthe PresidencyהָרִאשׁוֹנָהHa/ri/sho/NAFirstהַמְמֻנִּיםham/mun/NIMwho are appointedעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beיוֹעֲצֵיכֶםyo/a/tse/KHEMyour counselorsוּמַנְהִיגֵיכֶםu/man/hi/ge/KHEMand your leadersנִתַּןnit/TANis givenכֹּחַKO/achpowerהַכְּהֻנָּהhak/ke/hun/NAof priesthoodהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלַיָּמִיםlay/ya/MIMfor the daysהָאַחֲרוֹנִיםha/a/cha/ro/NIMlastוְלַזְּמַןve/laz/ze/MANand for the timeהָאַחֲרוֹןha/a/cha/RONlastאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin the whichבּוֹboisתְּקוּפַתte/ku/FATthe dispensationמְלֹאme/LOof the fulnessהָעִתִּים׃ha/it/TIMof times

    For unto you, the Twelve, and those, the First Presidency, who are appointed with you to be your counselors and your leaders, is the power of this priesthood given, for the last days and for the last time, in the which is the dispensation of the fulness of times,

31. 31

    הַכֹּחַhak/KO/achthe powerהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַתֶּםat/TEMyouנֹשְׂאִיםnos/IMholdעִםimin connection withכׇּל־אֵלֶּהkol-EL/leall thoseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoקִבְּלוּkib/be/LUreceivedתְּקוּפָהte/ku/FAa dispensationבְּכׇל־עֵתbe/KHOL-etat any timeמֵרֵאשִׁיתme/re/SHITfrom the beginningהַבְּרִיאָה׃hab/be/ri/Aof the creation

    Which power you hold, in connection with all those who have received a dispensation at any time from the beginning of the creation;

32. 32

    כִּיkiforאָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמַרo/MARI sayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youמַפְתְּחוֹתmaf/te/CHOTthe keysהַתְּקוּפָהhat/te/ku/FAof the dispensationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichקִבַּלְתֶּםkib/bal/TEMyou receivedיָרְדוּya/re/DUcame downמֵהָאָבוֹתme/ha/a/VOTfrom the fathersוּבָאַחֲרֹנָהu/va/a/cha/ro/NAand last of allנִשְׁלְחוּnish/le/CHUbeing sent downמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenאֲלֵיכֶם׃a/le/KHEMunto you

    For verily I say unto you, the keys of the dispensation, which ye have received, have come down from the fathers, and last of all, being sent down from heaven unto you.

33. 33

    אָמֵןa/MENverilyאֹמַרo/MARI sayלָכֶםla/KHEMunto youרְאוּre/Ubeholdמַה־גְּדוֹלָהma-ge/do/LAhow greatקְרִיאַתְכֶםke/ri/at/KHEMis your callingטַהֲרוּta/ha/RUcleanseלְבַבְכֶםle/vav/KHEMyour heartsוּבִגְדֵיכֶםu/vig/de/KHEMand your garmentsפֶּןpenlestיִדָּרֵשׁyid/da/RESHbe requiredדַּםdamthe bloodהַדּוֹרhad/DORof generationהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisמִיְּדֵיכֶם׃miy/ye/de/KHEMat your hands

    Verily I say unto you, behold how great is your calling. Cleanse your hearts and your garments, lest the blood of this generation be required at your hands.

34. 34

    הֱיוּhe/YUbeנֶאֱמָנִיםne/e/ma/NIMfaithfulעַדaduntilבֹּאִיBO/iI comeכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIבָּאbacomeבִּמְהֵרָהbim/he/RAquicklyוּשְׂכָרִיu/se/kha/RIand my rewardאִתִּיit/TIis with meלְשַׁלֵּםle/shal/LEMto recompenseלְאִישׁle/ISHevery manכְּפׇעֳלוֹke/fo/o/LOaccording as his work shall beאֲנִיa/NII amאָלֶףA/lefAlphaוְתָוve/TAVand Omegaאָמֵן׃a/MENAmen

    Be faithful until I come, for I come quickly; and my reward is with me to recompense every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega. Amen.
