   Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices.

   וַאֲצִיקva/a/TSIKyet-I-will-distressלַאֲרִיאֵלLa/a/ri/ELArielוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand-there-shall-beכֹּבֶדKO/vedheavinessוָיָגוֹןva/ya/GONand-sorrowכִּיkiforכֹהkhothusאָמַרa/MARhath-saidיְהוָהAdonaithe-LORDאֵלַיe/LAYunto-meתִּהְיֶהtih/YEit-shall-beלַאֲרִיאֵל׃la/A/ri/ELunto-Ariel

   Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow; for thus hath the Lord said unto me, It shall be unto Ariel;

   כִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIיְהוָהAdonaithe-LORDאַחֲנֶהa/cha/NEwill-campעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst-herסָבִיבsa/VIVall-aroundוְצַרְתִּיve/tsar/TIand-will-lay-siegeעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst-herבְּמַצָּבbe/mats/TSAVwith-a-mountוַהֲקִימֹתִיva/ha/ki/mo/TIand-I-will-raiseעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst-herמְצוּרוֹת׃me/tsu/ROTforts

   That I the Lord will camp against her round about, and will lay siege against her with a mount, and I will raise forts against her.

   וְשָׁפְלָהve/sha/fe/LAand-she-shall-be-brought-downמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout-of-the-groundתְּדַבֵּרִיte/dab/BE/riand-shall-speakוּמֵעָפָרu/me/a/FARand-out-of-the-dustתִּשְׁפַּלtish/PALshall-be-lowאִמְרָתֵהּim/ra/TEher-speechוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand-her-voice-shall-beקוֹלֵהּko/LEas-of-oneכְּאוֹבke/OVthat-hath-a-familiar-spiritמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout-of-the-groundוּמֵעָפָרu/me/a/FARand-out-of-the-dustאִמְרָתֵהּim/ra/TEher-speechתְּצַפְצֵף׃te/tsaf/TSEFshall-whisper

   And she shall be brought down, and shall speak out of the ground, and her speech shall be low out of the dust; and her voice shall be as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and her speech shall whisper out of the dust.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAmoreoverהֲמוֹןha/MONthe-multitude-ofזָרַיִךְza/RA/yikhher-strangersכְּאָבָקke/a/VAKshall-be-like-smallדַּקdakdustוַהֲמוֹןva/ha/MONand-the-multitude-ofעָרִיצִיםa/ri/TSIMthe-terrible-onesכְּמֹץke/MOTSshall-be-as-chaffעוֹבֵרo/VERthat-passeth-awayאַףafyeaיִהְיֶהyih/YEit-shall-beלְפֶתַעle/FE/taat-an-instantפִּתְאֹם׃pit/OMsuddenly

   Moreover the multitude of her strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passeth away; yea, it shall be at an instant suddenly.

   מֵעִםme/IMfromיְהוָהAdonaithe-LORD-ofצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OThostsתִּפָּקֵדtip/pa/KEDshall-you-be-visitedבְּרַעַםbe/RA/amwith-thunderוּבְרַעַשׁu/ve/RA/ashand-with-earthquakeוְקוֹלve/KOLand-voiceגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatסוּפָהsu/FAwith-stormוּסְעָרָהu/se/a/RAand-tempestוְלַהַבve/LA/havand-the-flame-ofאֵשׁeshfireאוֹכֵלָה׃o/khe/LAdevouring

   For they shall be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand-shall-beכַּחֲלוֹםka/cha/LOMas-a-dream-ofחֲזוֹןcha/ZONa-vision-ofלַיְלָהLAY/lanightהֲמוֹןha/MONthe-multitude-ofכׇּלkolallהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe-nationsהַצֹּבְאִיםhats/tsov/IMthat-fightעַלalagainstאֲרִיאֵלA/ri/ELArielוְכׇלve/KHOLeven-allצֹבֶיהָtso/VE/hathat-fight-against-herוּמְצוּרָתָהּu/me/tsu/ra/TAand-her-munitionוְהַמְּצִיקִיםve/ham/me/tsi/KIMand-they-that-distressלָהּ׃laher

   And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand-it-shall-beכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHEReven-as-whenיַחֲלֹםya/cha/LOMdreamethהָרָעֵבha/ra/EVthe-hungry-manוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand-beholdאוֹכֵלo/KHELhe-eatethוְהֵקִיץve/he/KITSbut-he-awakethוְרֵיקָהve/re/KAand-emptyנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOis-his-soulוְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERor-as-whenיַחֲלֹםya/cha/LOMdreamethהַצָּמֵאhats/tsa/MEthe-thirsty-manוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand-beholdשׁוֹתֶהsho/TEhe-drinkethוְהֵקִיץve/he/KITSbut-he-awakethוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand-beholdעָיֵףa/YEFhe-is-faintוְנַפְשׁוֹve/naf/SHOand-his-soulשׁוֹקֵקָהsho/ke/KAhath-appetiteכֵּןkensoיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall-beהֲמוֹןha/MONthe-multitude-ofכׇּלkolallהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe-nationsהַצֹּבְאִיםhats/tsov/IMthat-fightעַלalagainstהַרharmountצִיּוֹן׃Tsiy/YONZion

   Yea, it shall be unto them even as unto a hungry man who dreameth, and behold, he eateth, but he awaketh and his soul is empty; or like unto a thirsty man who dreameth, and behold, he drinketh, but he awaketh, and behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite. Yea, even so shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against mount Zion.
